The Trump administration is now deciding which initiatives and campaigning should occur in

the battleground states to in the 2018 midterms.

They want to energize the voters to show up and make another resounding statement to Nancy

Pelosi and the Democrats.

According to Politico, the plan is similar to one used in 2004, when a slate of anti-gay

marriage amendments boosted GOP turnout in in 11 states, paving the way for the election

of President George W. Bush.

GOP strategist Karl Rove applauded the efforts after the 2004 election.

He believed that it was crucial to keep America safe for four years longer.

He was asked if he created the strategy and he denied it.

In the current effort, the White House is considering initiatives involving tax reform

and other economic issues to rally conservatives, Politico reported.

It will be focused on red states where vulnerable Democratic senators are up for reelection

next year, including Montana, North Dakota, and Missouri, according to Politico.

Leading the rampage against Nancy Pelosi and the losers on the left, Gerry Gunster has

given some sage advice after he was successful in making Brexit happen in Britain.

According to Politico, he has discussed his strategy with numerous Trump aides.

He did speak to Bill Stepien and VP Pence's chief of staff Nick Ayers.

The plans are forming and will be put into full effect soon.

The White House has not signed off on the idea yet, however, Politico reported.

"Probably it has some effect," Steve Linder, a GOP strategist in Michigan, told Politico

about the strategy.

"It never hurts to have Republicans push on issues that are core to the party and that

get people motivated."

Some Republicans are skeptical, however.

There are other ballot issues that the GOP can use to their advantage.

Pelosi and her obstructionists could be one of the easiest tools to use.

The Russian president said it was a mistake to pressure Pyongyang over its nuclear missile programme and he favoured negotiation instead.  "It is essential to resolve the region's problems through direct dialogue involving all sides without advancing any preconditions," he wrote on the Kremlin website ahead of a visit to China.

"Provocations, pressure and bellicose and offensive rhetoric is the road to nowhere," he added. The situation had deteriorated so much it was now "balanced on the verge of a large-scale conflict", said the Russian leader. .

North Korea has been developing a nuclear missile capable of hitting America and recently threatened to target rockets at the US Pacific island of Guam.

On Monday, the rogue state, which sees joint US-South Korea military manoeuvres as preparation for invasion, fired a missile over Japan.

Putin said a plan by Moscow and Beijing, that would involve North Korea halting its missile programme in exchange for the US and South Korea ending large-scale war games, was a way to gradually reduce tensions.

The United Nations has imposed new sanctions on North Korea in response to two longrange missile launches in July. .

Putin's warning echoes his Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov who told US counterpart Rex Tillerson of "the need to refrain from military steps that may have unpredictable consequences".

Meanwhile, France's foreign minister said that North Korea would have the capability to send long-range ballistic missiles in a few months and urged China to be more active diplomatically.

Jean-Yves Le Drian said: "The situation is extremely serious. we see North Korea setting itself as an objective, to have tomorrow or the day after, missiles that can transport nuclear weapons.

In a few months that will be a reality. "At the moment when North Korea has the means to strike the United States, even Europe, but definitely Japan and China, then the situation will be explosive.".

the United States are not able to resolve it? By God, they can set it in an hour, half an hour, a wink

from Trump or his entourage, and the crisis would be resolved.

No ! The United States wants these struggles, these wars, etc. They are the ones who represent the danger. This administration, this mentality that wants to reinstate the hegemony and monopolize the oil, money and gas, and to protect Israel,

(who is now) worried and scared. It is they who are a danger, not Hezbollah.

Today, the continuation of the war against Yemen, and the intensification of the assault, especially in recent weeks,

Trump's trans military ban is still moving ahead, despite a misinformation campaign claiming

that it's been put on hold.

And Australia's been hit with a wave of misleading anti-gay ads.

Fortunately, there are a bunch of ways you can help resist these attacks.

We'll have all that and more on Weekly Debrief.

So is Trump's trans service ban moving forward or not?

There's been a lot of conflicting information in the last week, so here's what's actually

going on.

First, Trump's intentions have always been a little vague because his entire policy statement

on trans service consisted of three tweets.

And last week he made that a little more official ... by issuing a memo.

According that memo the military will not allow trans people to enlist, and will also

refuse to fund any transition-related medical care.

This doesn't explicitly mean that existing trans soldiers are getting kicked out -- but

by denying medically necessary health care as a condition of employment, this policy

effectively encourages trans people to leave the army as soon as they can for their own

well-being.

Now there was a rumor this week that the Defense Department was putting that policy on hold

so they could study whether it's a good idea.

But that's not actually true: that study's already been done, and it concluded that a

ban like Trump's would be a terrible idea.

What the Department of Defense is studying now is how quickly they can implement this

terrible idea.

That may seem like it doesn't make any sense ... and that's because it doesn't.

Meanwhile, in Canada, trans people have been serving without any problems for a quarter

century.

This week Canadian Defense Chief Jonathan Vance, the highest-ranking military officer

in the country, marched in Ottowa Pride.

And he didn't even have to conduct a study first.

So now what can stop Trump's attack on trans servicemembers from moving ahead?

That would be a superteam of queer activists: NCLR, GLAD, Lambda, SLDN and the ACLU are

all suing to stop the ban.

And they're moving really fast.

The lawsuit from GLAD and NCLR could get a response from a federal judge as soon as next

week, which could halt the ban for real.

Over in Australia, the postal survey on marriage equality is about to kick off, and already

the anti-equality side is putting out misleading ads.

According to TV ads from religious groups, marriage equality is a threat to children

and schools, somehow.

That might sound familiar, because it's the exact same story the anti-equality side pushed

in the United States.

But the good news is that because those arguments were used so extensively to block marriage

in the US, we had plenty of time to figure out an effective counterargument.

It's real simple, and here it is: Kids learn their values at home, so no matter what's

taught in schools, it's the parents' values that stay with their kids.

That it!

When voters hear that, they tend to think, "oh, okay.

Marriage equality isn't a threat after all."

The survey starts on September 12, and ballots should be sent in by October 27.

The result is not legally binding, but a strong outcome in favor of equality will pave the

way toward an actual vote in the legislature, with some optimistic estimates that if the

survey goes well, Australia could get marriage by the end of the year.

So, this week's action item: if you live in Australia, head over to EqualityCampaign.org.au.

They have lots of opportunities to volunteer or donate.

on social media.

Like numerous other liberal losers in DC, Senator Kamala Harris is vehemently opposed

to President Trump pardoning Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

Arpaio was convicted of profiling Latinos.

He violated a court-mandated order that he stop serving his county by booting out illegals.

However, President Trump has signaled he is ready to pardon Arpaio.

He was just doing his job, he told a crowd of supporters in Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday.

The sheriff is going to be "just fine," the president said, suggesting a pardon was

on the horizon.

It has been let loose that President Trump is already filling out the appropriate paperwork

and going through the appropriate channels to get it done.

One of the talking points is that Arpaio served his country for 50 years in the military,

the Drug Enforcement Administration and as Arizona's Maricopa County sheriff, and that

it is not appropriate to send him to prison for "enforcing the law" and "working

to keep people safe."

Then Kamala Harris tweeted out her comment and showed everyone that she has no perception

of the point of presidential pardons.

On Twitter she tried to say that Arpaio doesn't deserve a pardon.

The reason?

Because Joe Arpaio committed a crime.

Hot Air's Ed Morrissey then briefed Harris on pardons, explaining that individuals are

only eligible for pardons if they've committed a crime or been convicted of one in the first

place.

It's quite common sense that the only people who are awarded presidential pardons are criminals.

How can you be pardoned of a crime if you don't get convicted for said crime?

A senator should understand that clemency involves mainly those who have transgressed,

not those who have not.

An Attorney General in any state would have been involved in those decisions, which raises

questions as to just how engaged Harris was in her six years serving in that role

for California.

In fact, one of the most famous actors in America, Matthew McConaughey opened up regarding

Trump after the November election.

He's our president.

And, it's very dynamic and as divisive of an Inauguration and time as we've had.

At the same time, it's time for us to embrace and shake hands with this fact.

And be constructive with him over the next four years.

Republican Representative Ron DeSantis is putting forth an amendment to massively reduce

the abilities of Robert Mueller and his special counsel.

You know, the counsel that is still investigating the Russia ties that have already been disproven

multiple times under oath.

DeSantis has put forward a provision that would halt funding for Mueller's probe six

months after the amendment's passage.

It also would prohibit Mueller from investigating matters that occurred before June 2015, when

Trump launched his presidential campaign.

The amendment is one of numerous that were included in the government spending package.

The House will review the packages when they get back next week from their sweet vacations.

The provision is not promised a vote on the floor of the House.

He House Rules Committee has the ability to throw the amendment out if they feel it is

far out of the realm of the bill.

The Republican Representative's office hasn't given any public comments regarding his amendment.

Of course, the Democrats are loading up amendments to boost the Mueller investigation.

They are still so desperate to make anything stick to Trump, but he is like rubber, it

all just bounces off.

Representative Ann Kuster of New Hampshire is pushing an amendment to boost funding for

the investigation by 10 percent.

And Representative Nita Lowey of New York, ranking Democrat on the House Appropriations

Committee, proposed a measure to prohibit the Justice Department from obstructing Mueller's

work.

Of course the traitor Paul Ryan is a huge supporter of Mueller.

Ryan is another globalist that has entrenched himself in the GOP in an effort to align the

Republicans and Democrats to the same globalist goal.

The March to DC from Charlottesville, Virginia began with sheer power in numbers with almost

200 marchers (sarcasm intended).

They started on Monday, by Tuesday morning there were 35 marchers left.

It's comical.

This is a mega march!

"Over 200 people came together today to take a stand against bigotry and hate,"

March organizers said on Twitter.

"We're marching from #Cville2DC.

Join us: cville2dc.us."

The overnight rains stopped all by 35 marchers from continuing their march.

This was despite a weak pep talking and police who were escorting the group from Emancipation

Park downtown Sunday.

"We have started the day!" the group tweeted shortly after 10:00am.

"We have about 35 folks marching against white supremacy."

Despite the vicious falling in population, the group still called it a victory decrease

in numbers, the group still declared a victory, saying "not rain nor sleet nor snow nor

hail will stop us from marching from #Cville2DC.

The march was supposedly a direct response to the "Unite the Right" rally that was

put together by a former Obama confidant posting as a white supremacist.

This is where the Charlottesville violence occurred and a white supremacist drove into

a crowd.

It killed on person and injured 19 others.

"This is the time to confront white supremacy in our government and throughout our history,"

the group says on its website about the march.

"We demand that President Trump be removed from office for allying himself with this

ideology of hate and we demand an agenda that repairs the damage it's done to our country

and its people."

The group was planning to take the rout that uses US 29 until they get to I-66.

They will make there way to Washington where the march is supposed to end.

They 10-day march starts at 930 am every morning and is giving out vegan meals.

In addition, the marchers will be provided with housing, and a security detail will follow

the group, according to the group's website.

Laura Ingraham Offers Only Solution To Stop Anti-Trump Rioters From Causing Violence

Conservative radio host Laura Ingraham said on Tuesday that it is definitely the time

to dub ANTIFA as a "terrorist organization."

This is a response to the frequent violent riots that occur wherever ANTIFA goes.

"We should also urge everyone to consider pressing this idea of declaring Antifa a terrorist

organization," Ingraham said during an interview on "Fox and Friends."

"This group is trying actively to intimidate, suppress free speech and violently attack

people with whom they disagree."

Laura Ingraham said that she wants the Trump Administration to handle ANTIFA because of

the harm this would cause and the lives it would cost.

It's actually kind of scary how few people are willing to call these fascists what they

are.

"It's kind of an amalgam of a bunch of left wing anarchists and activists.

There is not one central organization.

They're all over the place.

But there is a way to pursue this and I hope this administration is looking at this very

carefully because people could die here," she said.

ANTIFA, BLM, and other left win organizations are constantly given a platform and a blind

eye is turned to them.

It's all because the media is brainwashing people into thinking that they're only being

violent because white people are racist and trying to kill everyone.

Ingraham also said that numerous important Democrats have refused to call out the radical

terrorist organization.

"Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, we are waiting for the condemnation.

Barack Obama, all these other people.

How about the Bushes?

Have the Bushes commented about Antifa?

I would like to hear them on that," she said.

"Imagine if the roles were reversed here and any type of conservative group that was

taking bats and pepper spray to peaceful liberal left wing protesters," Ingraham said.

It's a well know fact that welfare fraud is a scary and serious problem.

But Trump's solution isn't something any president before has tried.

Keep in mind, the solutions for solving welfare fraud are pretty much limited to finding and

removing the fraudsters.

Reforming the system on a larger scale is very difficult.

So difficult, in fact, that no politician has solved it yet.

Trump just offered a great solution, charge retailers for accepting EBT.

It's not an expected solution.

But it really works.

MSN reports:

The White House wants to charge retailers that accept food stamps.

The Office of Management and Budget said the fee would be paid when stores sign up and

would require renewal after five years.

That amounts to $2.4 billion in 10 years.

This is such an intelligent solution

Stores that accept food stamps make a ton of money from the Ameican taxpayer.

Shouldn't we get paid back from some portion of that?

But the big deal is this will help end the worst food stamp abuses – like when they

trade a portion of their welfare for cash to buy drugs and booze.

Is there a better way to make sure that every transaction is legitimate than by charging

stores for food stamp purchases?

It's very smart, businesslike, and common sense.

Wait though, here come the protests, watch.

The Food Marketing Institute said, that they the "flawed policy of imposing fees on food

retailers in order to reduce the cost of the federal government's nutrition assistance

benefits to the most needy in our society."

This is so awesome and makes me smile.

A lobbying group puts forth a vague and pathetic statement that whines, in a nutshell, "I

DON'T LIKE WHAT TRUMP IS DOING!!!"

Without, of course, explaining exactly what is wrong with Trump's proposals.

No one can actually find something wrong with this so they complain that it's mean.

All they can do is make boring statements about how scary it is.
