Welcome to Google Photos Community Support Forum & thanks for your post.

 

However, a long or scrolling screenshot is possible on stock Android 12 only.

Google has not provided that feature on older Android versions.

Do you have Android 12 on your phone?

If yes, after capturing the screenshot, you will see a prompt "Scroll for more" by the side of the edit button.

If not, you will have to look for the documentation provided by your phone's manufacturer.

In the Google Photos app on Android, you should see "People" on top under "Search".

In the web app you find them under "Explore" or directly in https://photos.google.com/people

If nothing is found, the option to "Group similar faces" may not be present or not activated. Go on the Android device to the Settings of the Google Photos app (tap on your profile photo or initial > Settings for photos).
