Ivanka Trump is not happy about an exhibition which depicts a look-alike of her vacuuming crumbs thrown at her by gallery visitors

The installation, sponsored by Cultural D.C.and housed less than a mile from the White House, features a 'woman bearing a striking resemblance to that Ivanka, cleaning a plush pink carpet' with a vacuum, a the organization said

Jennifer Rubell, the artist behind the installation, told news outlets the display was meant to explore 'our relationship with Ivanka' while provoking a debate about 'our complicity in her role-playing

' But the First Daughter, 37, was not impressed by the installation and tweeted: 'Women can choose to knock each other down or build each other up

I choose the latter,' the president's daughter and advisor wrote.A press release for the exhibit states that 'Ivanka vacuuming' is inspired by a figure whose public persona incorporates 'an almost comically wide range of feminine identities -- daughter, wife, mother, sister, model, working woman, blonde

' It adds that the installation 'is simultaneously a visual celebration of a contemporary feminine icon; a portrait of our own relationship to that figure; and a questioning of our complicity in her role-playing

' In front of the Ivanka look-alike, viewers will spot a 'white pedestal' with a huge pile of crumbs and visitors are invited to throw more crumbs on top of it

They can then watch 'as Ivanka elegantly vacuums up the mess, her smile never wavering

' On Tuesday Eric Trump defended his sister and criticized the exhibition, saying she 'has done more for women than anyone in Washington D

C.' He told Fox & Friends: 'These leftists called up a modeling agency, saying "you know what, I want to get a nice woman to come stand on a carpet, with a vacuum of all things, so that our people can throw food and crumbs to mimic a powerful woman who has done more for women than probably anyone in Washington, DC

" 'Think about that hypocrisy. They label themselves the quote, unquote 'party of women,' yet they're throwing food, they're throwing garbage at a woman on a carpet holding a vacuum cleaner to mimic someone who really does care and who has fought so hard for women

' Rubell later defended the exhibit and said she wasn't setting out to offend Ivanka Trump

She told Refinery 29: 'Usually the qualities of feminism and femininity are seen in opposition

'Most women clearly lean toward one side or the other in their self-presentation.'Something very interesting about Ivanka — her clothing line, too — is that it seems the goal is to achieve both of these qualities as part of the conversation

'This is something women struggle with, and her conclusion is unusual and interesting

' The artist also defended the component of the exhibit in which visitors throw crumbs towards the model while she vacuums

However others took to Twitter to claim the installation 'is not art, it's sexism

Ronna McDaniel, the chairwoman of the Republican National Committee tweeted: 'Let's be clear

This isn't art — it's sexism.' 'Ivanka Vacuuming' debuted on February 1 and will run until February 17 for two hours a day

now many aspects have been considered for Vietnam's hosting of the second Kim

Trump's summit including the country's historical significance the Trump

administration believes Hanoi is history of being a u.s. adversary which has

transitioned into Washington's close partner can be a great lesson for the

North Korean regime Kim il-sung explains

the decision to hold the second summit between Pyongyang and Washington in

Vietnam is largely to to matters of convenience and security

it took into account the travel time for North Korean leader Kim jong-un as well

as US president Donald Trump's schedule for a summit with Chinese President Xi

Jinping beyond this there's also a historical context Vietnam's history as

a u.s. adversary has transitioned into a close partnership after the two

countries established diplomatic ties in 1995 this followed Vietnam stoy program

Hanoi strive for broad economic liberalisation in the 1980s the Trump

administration hopes this can be a good source of inspiration and reflection for

the North referring to the Vietnamese model the US Secretary of State Mike

Pompeo has also said it could be a miracle if Kim jong-un follows the road

taken by Vietnam meanwhile Pyongyang also considers the Vietnamese model as

the most viable option for the regime to carry out economic development while

Trump Admin To Roll Back Regulations On Predatory Payday Lenders - Duration: 5:08.

Donald Trump has an unhealthy obsession with Barack Obama.

In fact, the only real thing that Donald Trump has done since becoming president of the United

States is rolling back all of the good things that Barack Obama did while he was president,

and this week is no exception.

Donald Trump's consumer financial protection bureau announced that they're going to be

revising the regulations that Obama put in place against predatory payday lenders.

Specifically, they want to take away the regulation that said that payday lenders have to determine

whether or not somebody is even capable of paying back one of these payday loans before

they make the loan.

That helped a lot of people from entering a cycle of endless debt, which is what these

predatory payday lenders had based their entire industry on.

That's what they did.

They would get people to come in hand over their car title or you know, a pay stub showing

this is how much they make.

They'd give them $500 and say, you've got one week to pay us back.

If they didn't pay him back in one week, not only were they hit with fees and interest

rates, that could be up to 50 percent, but after that week they were hit with interest

rates that went into the hundreds of percents trapping people in an endless cycle of debt

and making that initial loan that they took out, you know, double and triple and quadruple

in a matter of weeks.

That $500 loan became a $4,000 loan in a month or two, and Obama was trying to put an end

to that.

The regulation they put in place.

The CFPB said, you cannot give them money if you determine that they will never be able

to pay you back, but now Trump admin comes along and says to hell with whether or not

they can pay you back, loan them the money, and then go from there.

Charge them these astronomical interest rates.

Go ahead and rip them off prey on the poorest communities in this country, which as we've

discussed countless times over the years on ring of fire.

That is exactly what they did.

They would set up shop in poor communities and just watch that cash come rolling in,

trapping people in what has been described as an endless cycle of debt and Trump's trying

to take us back to that why?

Because he hates Barack Obama so much and of course the people he's put in government,

including those at the CFPB, uh, they also are good friends with the payday lenders and

they want them to be able to make as much money as possible because they have also made

money off the payday lending industry through their campaigns.

And this is political payback.

This is what you get.

You give enough money to the right people in Washington DC.

They will deregulate the hell out of you so you can continue to screw over American citizens

at every given opportunity in the payday, lenders knew that their day would come, all

they had to do was wait, and now they're getting rewarded.

There is a positive note here.

There is still with this proposed rule change, a 90 day comment period.

So I encourage every single person out there to get on the consumer.

Financial Protection Bureau is website.

Submit a comment and let them know that this decision to change this rule will be an absolute

disaster for the American economy and that you do not in any way, shape or form.

Support this rule.

Change our voices right now.

We have a chance to be heard, so let's not waste it.

#1 Trump Rejects Socialism in Landmark Address - Duration: 5:47.

As you all know, President Donald Trump stood up to a resurgent wave of socialism in America

during the State of the Union address on Feb. 5, telling Congress and the nation, "America

will never be a socialist country."

The president reviewed his administration's successes, most of which have been antithetical

to socialism.

He charted a course toward American greatness and away from the failures of communism.

Since taking office in 2017, Trump has lambasted socialism and communism on the world stage.

On Feb. 5, facing members of the Democratic Party—many of whom are socialists—the

president confronted, for the first time, the ideology's encroachment on America.

Trump said,

"Here, in the United States, we are alarmed by new calls to adopt socialism in our country."

He also went onto say,

"America was founded on liberty and independence–not government coercion, domination, and control.

We are born free, and we will stay free," he added, drawing a standing ovation from

the Republicans.

"Tonight, we renew our resolve that America will never be a socialist country."

As Republicans chanted "USA, USA" in response to the president, Bernie Sanders, a self-proclaimed

socialist, fidgeted in his seat, his lips tight and his hand propping up his chin.

A small number of Democrats, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, stood up and

applauded.

Trump prefaced his remarks about socialism by pointing to Venezuela, a once-wealthy nation

that has been crippled by socialist policies.

Democrats in Congress have floated similar policies for years and have intensified the

push beginning in the 2018 midterm election cycle.

Prominent members of Congress, including presidential candidate Kamala Harris, are

backing socialist policies like Medicare for All and the Green New Deal that would open

the floodgates to massive government expansion into the health care and energy sectors.

While calls for socialist policies received a significant amount of media attention during

and after the 2018 election, the proposals are not new to American politics.

"Obamacare" nearly achieved the socialist dream of the total government takeover of

the entire health care insurance industry, paving the way toward the goals enshrined in Medicare

for All.

Under the guise of progressivism and other causes benevolently named, socialism–the

preliminary stage of communism–has penetrated deeply into U.S. politics, higher education,

the sciences, and culture.

Trevor Loudon, an author and contributor to The Epoch Times who has spent more than 30 years

researching radical left, Marxist, and terrorist movements and their covert influence on mainstream politics said,

"It was great to see him throw down the gauntlet and name the problem because the

biggest political problem is the danger of socialism and communism right now.

"A quarter of his audience were socialists, so he was throwing down the gauntlet to the

left wing of the Democratic Party—which is now the main leading wing—and telling

them that their agenda was not acceptable."

The Congressional Progressive Caucus was co-founded by Bernie Sanders, a self-proclaimed socialist.

The caucus swelled by 26 seats after the 2018 election to a roster of 100 members.

Many members have links to the Democrat Socialists of America and the Communist Party of USA,

according to Loudon's research. And as many of you know, Trevor Loudon is also the author of many of Declassified's stories right here on this channel.

The bulk of what Trump has achieved during his first two years in office either rolled

back socialist policies or prevented the ideology's further encroachment on America.

The president took steps to protect religious freedom, insulating against socialism's promotion

of atheism and attacks on religion.

He also spearheaded the passage of a major tax-cut package and ordered an unprecedented

purge of government regulations.

The moves were a major blow to socialists' moves to expand the government via new regulations,

and to fund that growth by raising taxes.

William Gairdner, an author and independent scholar, said,

"[Trump] sees that America has been rushing toward the socialist brink for a long time,

perhaps since the middle of the last century and very much accelerated during the Obama

presidency, which was scary for anyone who believes as he does and certainly as I do

that socialism is not going to go." He also said, "That was strategic.

He wanted to cut the Democrats off at the pass."

Trump's choice of Venezuela stood out, considering

that examples of socialism's failures abound.

The president has taken a tough stance on Maduro's regime and intensified pressure

on the socialist dictator to step down.

In January, Venezuela's National Assembly declared Maduro's presidency illegitimate.

Juan Guaidó, the assembly's leader, stepped forward as an interim president.

Maduro refused to give up control.

Trump immediately recognized Guaidó, triggering a virtual global referendum on socialism.

Free-world nations, like Germany and Australia, sided with Guaidó.

Socialist and communist regimes, like those in China, North Korea, and Cuba, backed Maduro.

Russia, which is not socialist on paper, has been propping up socialists and communists

in South America for decades.

The Kremlin backed Maduro.

Eric Trump Says Ivanka Has Done More For Women Than Anyone Ever - Duration: 5:47.

Eric Trump appeared on Fox & Friends earlier this week to, uh, you know, talk about how

great his dad is, but also to defend his sister against alleged vicious attacks coming from

the left and in his defense of his sister, he said something that kind of made everybody

in this country who saw the clip say why?

Here's the clip.

See for yourself, w we had joked that before we start the segment,

we should get a shop vac out here for you because down in Washington there's actually

an exhibit where they have somebody who is dressed like your sister, Ivanka of running

a vacuum around a room where you throw crumbs in front of her and then she'll vacuum it

up.

You know, I want, I want to frame that image just because I think it's important.

These leftist called up a modeling agency saying, you know what?

I want to get a nice woman to come stand on a carpet.

So with our people, with a vacuum of all things so our people can throw food and crumbs to

mimic a powerful woman who has done more for women than probably anybody in Washington

DC.

I mean think about that hypocrisy.

There supposed to be the quote unquote, they label themselves as a party of of women, yet

they're throwing food, they're throwing garbage at a woman on a carpet holding a vacuum cleaner

to mimic somebody who really does care and who's fought so hard for women.

And you know what guys I say, keep doing it.

Keep.

Keep going.

Because if they're losing people with this nonsense, with this craziness, it's no different

than, you know, these birthday abortions and everything.

They're losing people with this craziness that they're doing.

And it's gotTa stop.

I mean it's become too radicalized.

It's, it's actually borderline insane.

Do you guys talk about it amongst each other, like when you see as a like that is Ivanka

talk to you about it or when she sees somebody go after you are done junior.

Do you guys talk to each other about it?

I guess we take a lot of shots and that's fine.

We're the first family United States, you know, we're grownups.

We can.

We can take shots, but you know, it's sad in this case because Ivanka has done more

for women's empowerment.

I'm more for women's issues than just about anything in, in even before she got to DC.

This was a cause that was near and dear to heart.

Don't mock somebody for that.

A lot of people know that there's always going to be naysayers.

Okay.

Just a second.

I'm going to get into why Ivanka is actually a horrible human being, but I have to point

something out.

Eric Trump in that clip actually seemed more offended that his sister could be portrayed

with a vacuum of all things than any of the other attacks on her.

That is what I guess stepped over the line for him is implying that Ivanka could ever

even use a vacuum.

How dare they?

I go back and watch it again and listen to how mad he is that the woman in this art installation

has a vacuum of all things.

That is what he said, and secondly, he doesn't understand what the art exhibit actually means.

It's not, oh, look at Ivanka.

She's a maid.

No, it.

It's supposed to symbolize Ivanka Trump constantly cleaning up the messes being left by her father

and by an extension, her brothers as well, so that includes you and she does it with

a smile.

She does it acting like, oh, this is no big deal.

That is the point of that art installation.

It's not a dig at Ivanka.

If anything, it's showing that she's the only one of you morons and the Trump family that's

capable of going through and at least attempting to clean things up back to reality though,

right?

Ivanka Trump done more for women than anybody else in d, c, anyone in this country, anyone

in history, right?

Forget Susan B. Anthony, forget Rosa parks.

It's Ivanka Trump who is the true hero of all women to ever exist.

The same woman who uses sweatshop, a sweatshop labor to build her product lines.

Is that being a hero for women?

The same woman who sat idly by while her father was having affairs and after those affairs

came to light, she just kind of shut her mouth instead of saying we have to stand up for

families and what my father did was wrong.

I don't agree with them now.

She just sat there.

She was going to be a leader on climate change, but that kind of fell through because she

doesn't know how to do it.

Not that that necessarily is only a women's issue, but it's a humanity issue.

Ivanka Trump has failed at every given opportunity.

You know when the access Hollywood tape came out, she wasn't leading the charge to get

her father to come out and publicly apologize for that.

Was She?

I mean that was degrading towards women.

What about the 19 plus women who have accused her father of sexual misconduct?

Where does she stand on that?

Where she's standing up for those women?

Ivanka Trump hasn't done a damn thing for women in this country.

Eric.

Not that you would understand because you don't live in reality either.

Your the guy who ran the charity that swindled kids with cancer.

You took money that was meant for those kids with cancer and you put it in your own pocket.

So yeah, I understand how your view of morality is a little bit warped here, but you are way,

way off base if you think Ivanka Trump has done a single thing throughout her life to

make the lives of women across this country even a little bit better.

What's the U.S. strategy behind Trump's second summit with Kim Jong Un? - Duration: 6:16.

JUDY WOODRUFF: Another major initiative of President Trump is improving U.S.-North Korean

relations in order to get that isolated communist country to give up its nuclear weapons.

The president met North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, this past summer.

Last night, Mr. Trump announced that he'd meet Mr. Kim for a second time at the end

of this month.

What's on the agenda for this next meeting, and what's the state of play of diplomacy

between the two countries?

We turn to foreign affairs correspondent Nick Schifrin.

So, hello, Nick.

NICK SCHIFRIN: Hi, Judy.

JUDY WOODRUFF: The president said it's going to be in Vietnam the end of February.

Why Vietnam?

NICK SCHIFRIN: First of all, logistics.

North Korea can get there and has an embassy in Vietnam.

Number two, North Korea and the United States have relatively good relations with Vietnam.

Number three, for the U.S., Vietnam is a model.

It's a communist country that has opened up economically, diplomatically, and has become

much richer for that.

So the U.S. wants North Korea to consider that model.

And, fourth, for the U.S., it's a good talking point.

The U.S. likes to tell the North Koreans that the U.S. has no permanent enemies.

What better place to do that than Vietnam?

Of course, it's not a perfect example.

Vietnam beat the United States in a war.

And, of course, North Korea took over a U.S.-backed South Korea.

So it's not a perfect model.

JUDY WOODRUFF: So is there -- what's the U.S. administration approach going into these talks?

NICK SCHIFRIN: We have talked to a lot of analysts, and most of them say there is actually

a fundamentally different approach than there has been in the past.

And that is that the U.S. sees North Korea as having a place in the future of Northeast

Asia.

And that's just not something the U.S. had made so explicit in the past.

So let's listen to Steve Biegun.

He's the top U.S. negotiator in North Korea.

He was talking last week, and he just used a different tone than the U.S. has really

talked about North Korea in the past.

And he started by mentioning the desire to end the Korean War, which ended in an armistice,

not a peace treaty.

STEVE BIEGUN, U.S. Special Representative for North Korea: President Trump is ready

to end this war.

It is over.

It is done.

We are not going to invade North Korea.

We are not seeking to topple the North Korean regime.

We need to advance our diplomacy, alongside our plans for denuclearization, in a manner

that sends that message clearly to North Korea as well.

We are ready for a different future.

NICK SCHIFRIN: Ready for a different future.

The Trump administration sees this as a moment of opportunity.

President Trump in the past has said the threat from North Korea is over.

He's tempered that, but the Trump administration has been very optimistic.

Critics really fear, many of them from the right, by the way, that the president shouldn't

go into this summit so quickly, and should instead let people like Biegun negotiate the

details, and wait.

JUDY WOODRUFF: So, let me ask you about the details.

Up until now, both sides have been saying to the other one, you go first.

How did the U.S. get past that in just their thinking on the sequence of this taking place?

NICK SCHIFRIN: Right, the sequence has been vital.

And the two sides have been far apart.

And now they're not.

The U.S. really has shifted in this.

So, in the past, the U.S. has said denuclearization first -- sorry -- denuclearization first,

and then we can talk about sanctions relief.

The North Koreans said, wait a minute, we need to do this step by step.

We take a step, you take a step, and then eventually we will get to the end together.

And Biegun last week really endorsed the North Korean model, and he said there could be progress

on denuclearization, the ending of the war, improving of relations, step by step.

STEVE BIEGUN: If we're doing the right thing with each other in relations, it makes it

easier to do the right thing with each other on nuclear weapons.

And if we're doing the right thing on nuclear weapons, it makes it a lot more conceivable

that there would be a permanent peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.

NICK SCHIFRIN: And what the U.S. is hoping to do is create a road map for those steps.

JUDY WOODRUFF: So, one of the other sticking points has been the U.S. asking for a list

of the program -- nuclear and missile programs that the North Koreans have.

Tell us where that stands.

NICK SCHIFRIN: Yet another sign that the U.S. is moving toward the North Korean position.

So, in the past, the U.S. said that you have to give us your complete list of nuclear and

missile programs.

The North Koreans said, thanks, but no thanks.

That's like giving you a targeting list.

Instead, Biegun said last week that there needs to be a complete list, but it can be

at the end of the process.

STEVE BIEGUN: Before the process of denuclearization can be final, we must also have a complete

understanding of the full extent of the North Korean weapons of mass destruction missile

programs.

We will get that at some point through a comprehensive declaration.

NICK SCHIFRIN: We will get there at some point.

That is a real shift.

And, of course, critics say that this is like a watering down of the U.S. demands.

JUDY WOODRUFF: So, what you have been describing is how the U.S. has given in, has made concessions.

What are they expecting from the North Koreans?

NICK SCHIFRIN: U.S. officials are actually very specific about what they want.

Number one, they're looking for a road map, a road map for future negotiations and declarations.

Number two, they're looking for what they're calling a shared understanding of the desired

outcomes.

Basically, what does peace look like?

What does denuclearization look like?

And, number three, they're looking for what they're calling concrete deliverables.

Now, what does that mean?

That could be inspectors that would verify the closure of missile and nuclear testing

sites.

It could mean the end of nuclear fuel production from the North Korean side.

It could also be progress to end the Korean War.

What does North Korea want?

At the top of their list is sanctions relief.

And what Biegun is doing now, he's in North Korea.

He's going to set the framework for these negotiations.

Critics fear that he's not going to make enough progress and that President Trump will go

into this summit without much progress and give too much away, basically, perhaps even

lower the number of troops in South Korea.

But I have to say, Judy, the pro-engagement analysts who we talk to, as one of them put

it, say, this is the greatest opportunity that they have seen for progress in their

lives.

JUDY WOODRUFF: It's fascinating that it finally appears to be about to take place.

NICK SCHIFRIN: Absolutely.

And this summit is set.

JUDY WOODRUFF: All right, thank you very much, Nick Schifrin.

NICK SCHIFRIN: Thank you.

Nancy Pelosi at the State of the Union, Trump's Childhood Home - Monologue - Duration: 3:44.

-Let's get to the news.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared to give

a sarcastic clap at President Trump

during part of last night's State of the Union

when Trump tried to denounce division and politics.

I mean, look at that.

[ Laughter ]

That's the way you clap when your husband

finally puts the toilet paper on the roller.

[ Laughter and applause ]

"You learn! Look at you!"

President Trump today attended a dinner

with the host of the National Prayer Breakfast.

Of course, for Trump, every breakfast is a prayer breakfast.

[ Laughter ]

"Please, Lord, let there be pancakes."

[ Laughter ]

Officials in Boston are saying 12 people were arrested

yesterday during the New England Patriots victory parade.

So at least it was more exciting than the game.

[ Laughter and applause ]

New York's L train connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn

was shut down temporarily yesterday

after passengers complained of strong fumes in stations

that caused vomiting.

Even worse, one passenger passed out...CDs.

[ Laughter ]

President Trump's childhood home in Queens, New York,

is currently on sale for almost $3 million,

and it still has all the original teeth marks

on the lead-painted window sills.

[ Laughter and applause ]

That's right.

President Trump's childhood home in Queens

is currently up for sale.

And according to "The Wall Street Journal,"

one of the bedrooms features a sign pointing to the spot

where he was likely conceived.

It's sort of a map for any time travelers

looking to save the world.

[ Laughter and applause ]

"We got to get this bed out of here."

[ Cheers and applause ]

Tech regulators have announced that 59 new emoji characters

will be available for use starting in the fall,

including a hand pinching its thumb and finger together,

which some are calling a tiny-penis gesture.

[ Laughter ]

While others are calling it a normal-sized penis gesture.

[ Laughter and applause ]

That's fine! [ Laughter ]

That's right.

59 new emojis will be available this fall,

including a wheelchair and a flamingo,

which is perfect if you need to tell someone

your flamingo has been in an accident.

[ Laughter ]

"Yeah, no. It was the standing leg."

[ Laughter and applause ]

According to a new survey, men tend to wait over six months

before passing gas in front of their significant other.

"Or six minutes," said Melania.

[ Laughter and applause ]

"This is such a great first date. Should we get chili?"

[ Laughter ]

And finally, a Cleveland mom was arrested this week

after a child brought marijuana-infused gummy candies

to school and shared them with at least 12 other students.

Teachers became suspicious when the school band sounded good.

President Trump Delivers Remarks to the Ministers of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS - Duration: 10:36.

The President: Thank you very much, Mike.

And you are doing a spectacular job.

I say that on behalf of many people.

It's an honor to be here today at the State Department

among so many distinguished diplomats

and others representing the nations

of the Global Coalition to Defeat ISIS.

Together, we comprise 74 countries

and 5 international institutions,

all united in the fight

against this vile terrorist organization.

And vile they are.

I want to thank Acting Defense Secretary Patrick Shanahan.

Patrick, stand up. You've been doing a fantastic job.

We appreciate it. (Applause.) Thank you.

Ambassador James Jeffrey, thank you. Thank you.

And all of our Coalition members here today

for their enduring commitment to defeating ISIS

in the Middle East and around the world.

In January 2017, only two years ago,

ISIS had a vast amount of territory in Syria and Iraq.

When I became President, I said, "I want to see what they have."

And I looked, and it was a mess. It was a lot.

When I took office, one of my very first acts

was to go to the Pentagon and ask them to produce

and show me a plan to defeat ISIS.

Under the new approach we developed,

we empowered our commanders in the field,

enabled our partners on the ground,

and directly confronted ISIS's wicked ideology.

And we're doing that today, except in even greater numbers.

As a result, as I noted in my State of the Union Address

yesterday, the United States military,

our Coalition partners, and the Syrian Democratic Forces

have liberated virtually all of the territory

previously held by ISIS in Syria and Iraq.

It should be formally announced sometime probably next week

that we will have 100 percent of the caliphate.

But I want to wait for the official word.

I don't want to say it too early.

Over the past two years,

we have retaken more than 20,000 square miles of land.

We have secured one battlefield.

And we've had victory after victory after victory,

and retaken both Mosul and Raqqa.

We have eliminated more than 60 mile high-value ISIS leaders.

So we have a — if you look at the ISIS leaders of the 60 top,

we've eliminated almost every one of them.

Now, they re-form; we know that.

But they're having a hard time re-forming,

and I wouldn't say it's a great job to have because of us.

It's not exactly —

hopefully will not be a sought-after occupation.

More than a hundred other top ISIS officials

have been eliminated,

and tens of thousands of ISIS fighters are gone.

They're gone.

Together, we have freed more than 5 million civilians

from the grip of these bloodthirsty killers.

And you know the killers they are. You see it.

And we used to see it to an extent we couldn't believe,

where our people and our friends and our allies —

in many cases, people whose parents I've gotten to know —

had to wear the orange uniform prior to you know what.

We don't want to see those scenes anymore.

Thanks to the Global Coalition,

including all of you here today, and to our other partners,

the ISIS caliphate has been decimated.

Nobody thought it was possible to do it this quickly.

Three weeks ago, I was in Iraq

and I was talking to some of our great generals,

and I gave them the absolute go-ahead.

I said, "Go at it. How long will it take once you get started?"

He said, "Sir, one week."

I said, "Where did that come from — one week?"

And he meant it.

And it's about a week since they really got going.

And they'll be informing us very soon, officially.

But it's 100 percent.

ISIS can no longer claim widespread ownership

over local governments in Syria and Iraq.

Now, you're always going to have people;

they'll be around. They're sick. They're demented.

But you're going to have them

no matter how well we do militarily.

You can't do better than we've done, militarily.

But you will have people that will be around.

And we'll search them out, and you'll search them out,

and we'll find them.

And hopefully, they won't be around very long.

They can no longer extract natural resources

because they no longer control the land or the area.

They can no longer tax the citizens in that area

because they no longer have that area,

or steal ancient artifacts or destroy ancient artifacts,

as they've been doing. They've really been set back.

We're working very hard on the Internet.

For a period of time, they used the Internet better than we did.

They used the Internet brilliantly,

but now it's not so brilliant.

And now the people on the Internet

that used to look up to them

and say how wonderful and brilliant they are,

are not thinking of them as being so brilliant.

Because they've been decimated.

They can no longer control schools

to impose their vicious ideology on young children.

Critically, ISIS also now lacks a significant territorial base

from which to launch terrorist attacks

against other countries, recruit foreign fighters,

and spread havoc across the region.

Their land is gone. It's a big factor.

Their land is gone.

This afternoon, I want to applaud

the outstanding men and women of the United States military —

incredible people — for their remarkable skill and precision

throughout this entire campaign.

Now, as countries in the region

and across our Coalition step up their commitments,

and we continue to destroy the remnants

— that's all they have, remnants.

But remnants can be very dangerous;

you have to remember that. A remnant can be very dangerous.

But we have remnants of ISIS.

We look forward to giving our brave warriors in Syria

a warm welcome back home.

Rest assured, we will do what it takes to defeat every ounce

and every last person within the ISIS madness,

and defend our people from radical Islamic terrorism.

I commend the 30 other nations

who are already contributing troops to this vital effort.

And it's a different effort than we had initially,

but totally vital.

In recent months, Germany, the United Arab Emirates,

and Saudi Arabia have all made financial commitments.

The struggle against terrorism is a shared fight.

We do it together.

If we don't do it together, it can never be the same.

Everyone must do their part and contribute their fair share.

We must also recognize that immigration security

is national security, and that foreign fighters

must not gain access into our nations.

We've been extremely tough on people

that we think can be in any way working with —

or even be a part of — radical Islamic terror.

I've been very, very tough on that,

and I hope every other nation is, too.

I just want to thank everybody in this room.

This is a special group of brilliant people,

and it's been an honor to work with you.

And we will continue to work with you,

because unfortunately this is not going to be something that —

as brilliant as our military is,

knocking out the big, big sections,

they'll have tiny sections. It can be so dangerous.

But I want to just thank everybody.

Having the Coalition, having the partnership —

because it's really a partnership —

with you has been my honor.

Our military has been incredible.

And your militaries have been incredible.

So it's an honor to work with you.

We will be working with you for many years to come.

I say that unfortunately, but that's the way it goes.

We will work together for many years to come.

It'll get smaller, smaller, and smaller.

And someday, maybe, we won't have to even think

about this problem that is so prevalent today.

Thank you all very much. It's a great honor to be here.

Thank you. Thank you very much. Thank you.

(Applause.)
