Trump news on Youtube Jul 18 2018

Fox News Alert for you now on the next steps to confirmation now the President

Trump has nominated Brett Kavanaugh to be the next Supreme Court justice as you

see here judge Cavanaugh is on Capitol Hill today with vice president pence

and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell as he makes the rounds and

some Democrats launched their effort to block his confirmation this is

outnumbered and I'm Melissa Francis here today is Harris Falkner town hall editor

and contributor the birthday girl herself Katie Pavlich

there you go former deputy spokesperson for the State Department Fox News

analyst and host of Benson and harf Marie harf and joining us today on the

couch Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano did you pick

today knowing what was going to happen

from Supreme Court nominee Brett Cavanaugh's on Capitol Hill today vice

president pence escorting the nominee this morning to milla Senate Majority

Leader Mitch McConnell as the quest begins for the votes he needs to be

confirmed and president Trump weighing in this morning before he departed

departed for Europe to attend the NATO summit the president reflecting on his

announcement last night and sounding optimistic last night was an incredible

evening Brett Kavanaugh got rave reviews rave reviews actually from folk side and

I think it's going to be a beautiful thing to watch over the next month but a

lot of money already spent on both sides of the aisle on ads for and against

Cavanaugh Democrats say they're going to do all they can to stop this

confirmation here's Senate Minority Leader Chuck

Schumer President Trump with the nomination of Judge Cavanaugh has

fulfilled or is fulfilling two of his campaign promises first to undo women's

reproductive freedom second to undo ACA and so I will oppose him with everything

I've got and here is Vice President Mike Pence from just a short time ago with

judge Cavanaugh and leader McConnell we look forward to working very closely

with you leader to advance the Senate's proper role and considering judge Brett

Kavanaugh as the president's nominee to the Supreme Court of the United States

doug McElwee is live on Capitol Hill with more big day Doug no doubt about

that for Republicans this is all about expediting this confirmation prompt

says as quickly as possible to see that the confirmation is done in advance of

the midterm elections in November they met a timeline of 66 days for the

confirmation of Neil Gorsuch and they'd like to meet that with the confirmation

of judge Cavanaugh for Democrats it's all about obstructing all about holding

up this confirmation as long as possible until after the midterms at which point

they hopefully could regain control of the house and potentially to a lesser

extent a smaller chance of regaining control of the Senate and to that end

all eyes are now on a handful of Democratic senators facing re-election

battles in states where Trump won big in 2016 we're talking about Heidi Heitkamp

of North Dakota Joe Donnelly of Indiana Claire McCaskill of Missouri Joe Manchin

of West Virginia three of those people actually voted for Neal Gorsuch were

talking about Heitkamp Donnelly and also mentioned again they are being torn

between to intense pressure from the leadership of the Democratic Senate and

intense pressure from their constituents back home who voted for Donald Trump

here's the joe Manchin whom we caught up with earlier this morning I'm not

speaking on any other senator except I know what I feel in my hearts right to

give everybody the benefit the doubt look at it do deep dive study it having

come in and sit down go over the constant concerns I might have I'm gonna

go back home to townhall meetings how many people he knows going to a town

hall meeting there are also two GOP senators who will play absolutely

pivotal roles given the gops razor thin margin of a majority in the Senate we're

talking about Lisa Murkowski of Alaska and Susan Collins of Maine both of them

moderate both of them pro-choice both eagerly awaiting their one-on-one

interviews with Brett Kavanaugh Collins has already hinted that if he is a

die-hard when it comes to anti-abortion stances that she will be of no vote

Democrats already tried to make this a referendum on reproductive rights as you

heard Chuck Schumer just say also the ACA health care rights and then this

novel approaches well we heard this from Cory Booker last night he is saying that

Judge Cavanaugh is president Trump's get-out-of-jail-free card this is not

we know that this person president that has already nose deep in legal matters

before he even became president and was settling with millions of dollars

beforehand but now he has a lot of other legal trouble and the challenges that

this president could have caused for himself now he's got that insurance

policy he's got this get-out-of-jail-free card if you if you

will in the in him was sifting through 20-plus names as well as all the other

people he could have considered a judge Kavanagh has written opinion an opinion

which is widely subscribed to in legal circles that the proper punishment for a

wrongdoing president is not through the judicial system it is through what the

founders wrote in the Constitution through the process of impeachment he's

also written that once the president is properly impeached for wrongful conduct

that he would be available for judicial punishment through the court system so

that kind of fighting we're sitting just in the past 24 hours or so

a real taste of what lies in store for the rest of the summer in the early

months of fall back to you no doubt all right Dec thank you lawmakers are

probably well on their way starting to go through judge Cavanaugh's background

in his extensive legal writings the 53 year old has been a judge on the US

appeals court in Washington and has clerked for retiring Supreme Court

Justice Kennedy he worked on the report that led to the impeachment of President

Bill Clinton and later served in the George W Bush White House conservatives

are split over whether he's expressed support for the Constitution

constitutionality of Obamacare and there are lingering questions over Cavanaugh's

potential decision on the future of roe v wade as Doug just mentioned moderate

GOP senator Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski who declined to attend the

White House announcement last night say they need to examine Cavanaugh's wreckin

record on the issue and libertarian-leaning GOP Senator Rand

Paul has

express concerns over Cavanaugh's ruling on bulk collection of America's metadata

I'm going to go to the judge first what do you think of all those various legal

questions well I think they're all in play and I will glad you mentioned Rand

Paul because if all the Republicans - John McCain vote yes then it doesn't

matter what Chuck Schumer does but if Lisa Murkowski or Susan Collins on the

pro-life issue vote no and if Rand Paul votes now you originally said he wasn't

no and now he's a neutral and he's going to be open and he's going to interview

the judge extensively but he has written not only on metadata I'm holding up my

iphone he has written that the NSA is not bound by the Fourth Amendment and

can gather anything we put in here where the Harris and I are talking in her

office and this happens to be in my pocket it's recording what we say or

whether we're talking on the phone whether what rounds did he say that that

was okay ah because it's not going to be used as evidence in court in his view

the Fourth Amendment only regulates law enforcement it doesn't regulate

intelligence my view and Senator Paul's view is that the Fourth Amendment

doesn't distinguish between the two it prohibits the government not just law

enforcement the government from engaging in search he said a more narrow

interpretation and isn't that what you're interested in if you're worried

about the government doing that shouldn't rand paul go write a law that

addresses it as opposed to relying on judge Kavanaugh to read that into the

Constitution unfortunately the law goes the other way unfortunately the law that

Judge Cavanaugh upheld in his opinion permits the warrantless searches so then

they should change that of course they should but but it's awesome but it's yes

it is because it defies the Fourth Amendment anyway this is the argument

that libertarians will make and have been making all morning and quite

frankly this is why I believe that President Trump has not fulfilled his

campaign promise about draining the swamp by appointing judge Kavanaugh

interesting that's right can we see Senator Rand Paul fall on

this issue often yes we go was perched to filibuster when they were

considering the FISA section 702 I believe it was yes and and made all

sorts of comments about how maybe the president and he needed to talk I think

they did they do about that issue they went forward but this is not new

territory for them it's just interesting because coupled with a couple of other

unknowns and it could be problematic well because the numbers are so razor

thin John McCain doesn't vote if Rand Paul abstains or votes no then they have

to pick off a Democrat or - I mean you've got you've got Doug and I love

this one pick Doug Jones and Alabama do we know enough about him caite to

even know what he would do now remember he's facing re-election again after he

couldn't you know after he bumped off Remora a flawed candidate so it's

interesting do we know what he might do we know based on what he has said what

he might do would just consider the nominee based on their credentials

thoroughly vet them listen to their constituents back home it doesn't seem

like Doug Jones is willing to just get in line with the far-left Democratic

Party in the Senate right now which is a good thing you had Joe Manchin and in

the soundbite earlier saying I'm going to go home fact that he is qualified and

has extensive credentials in the area of the law and the the questions that have

been thrown out about Cavanaugh or on policy they're not necessarily just on

constitutionality when it comes to what his qualification

you

our pre-existing conditions for example as one that's been thrown out there

rather than the constitutionality of Obamacare that's been questioned by

Republicans one more thing is

but Democrats are more

burned I'd say Democrats more concerned

about Republicans like Rand Paul

you

putting now are abstaining then Republicans are because they don't want

to be the deciding vote in an election here in a red state and be the hanging

in the balance of vote going into November absolutely and taking it back

to the social conservatives and to see if that promise is fulfilled or not

here's what Tony Perkins had to say I'm actually a little surprised I thought

the president would want a bigger fight I think this is a safe pick for the

president I thought he would go a little stronger with maybe with Barrett or

Hardiman but I think it's a solid pick social conservatives aggressively pushed

Barrett yeah intellectual conservatives aggressively pushed Catholic the where

the president's sister aggressively pushed Hardiman the Washington

establishment aggressively pushed Cavanaugh they prevailed yeah it's

interesting and to speak to doug jones for a second he is from a red state but

he's a former ACLU attorney i think on legal philosophy he's a little farther

to the left than some of the other red state Democrats but it's not actually

just a question of policy it's a question about judicial philosophy and

judge Kavanagh is clearly a very smart jurist but I think there are some

Democrats who disagree with his philosophy of how he interprets the

Constitution whether it's issues like women's health whether it's the role of

the federal federal government in regulations and how are the federal

government can go that has the you know potential to impact our lives in a whole

number of ways whether it's the environment or or other places as well

there's a very long table some of these substantive issues and I tell you how

judges hate having to explain judicial advance that therefore it would be

better than the litmus test of can you tell us how you would fall down on these

issues based on what is important record what not and I what Maria's platform

meaning Democrat but what Maria was referring to a conversation we had

before the show started when you have 300 opinions

these are appellate opinion now it's a lot complex there's something in there

for everybody they like and something in there for everybody to hate can I ask a

question because and and I thought it was really interesting his his remarks

last night Cavanaugh's were very inclusive he started talking about his

mom who had worked with two predominantly african-american schools

there was a little bit in there for everybody to kind of go okay wait a

minute that's not what probably Democrats had expected to hear and

you're not hearing a lot about that inclusion use your common sense

what rings true what rings false that's good advice for a juror and for a son

well the irony to me in all of this is that our future justice Cavanaugh

hopefully clerked for Justice Kennedy and Justice Kennedy for decades has been

upheld by Democrats and even the far left as this hero for civil rights for

human rights for women's rights for gay rights and yet now we have someone who

clerked for him has been in close contact with him there's some reports

out now saying that Justice Kennedy actually helped advocate for Kavanagh to

get into this position so he is there right from Kennedy when you sure but the

idea that he is so far removed from Kennedy when he is talking about in his

remarks how he learned from Justice Kennedy and his dedication to Liberty

and the Constitution and equality for the less to be so visceral over his

nomination just it just doesn't make a lot of sense and I'm just wondering

where they come down when it comes to painting him is this far right

appointment when he follows in the President Kennedy well quite frankly I'm

still going through a lot of the opinions and a lot of the given there so

much that he's waiting on me you're going through them you're sending them

to me to read working for Judge Napolitano right now you know I'm

surprised by some things he has written about certain issues but then there are

others particularly women's health particularly Obama care particularly the

federal government I keep coming back to that issue but that's all of the

regulatory state I actually think is a very interesting one and so I don't read

everything he's ever written and automatically recoil as a Democrat I

think I have a different judicial philosophy from him not being an expert

like but oh yeah interesting how the screaming has been all about roe v wade

and abortion and now that we're seeing some of the opinion it's an issue

Goldie's are moving to oh well now like racing though I mean that's what

jumped out at me judge I mean you say that he's part of the Washington

establishment or that the Washington loved him when you look at a lot of his

work it's about limiting that regulatory

administrative state that in my opinion is so far overreaching for this type of

unit let me give some comfort to my conservative we're not elected the rule

of people who are not elected I do not like so here's what the law says when an

administrative agency the Food and Drug Administration the EPA the SEC issues a

ruling interprets its own ruling enforces its own ruling and the person

who loses challenges them they do not go into court as equals the court is

supposed to defer to the administrative agency and assume it was correct this is

called Chevron deference under Lee Justice Scalia believed in the deference

because that's what the statute says justice Gorsuch and judge Kavanaugh

reject Chevron deference I do as well and say when you're in court everybody's

equal the judge hears one side the judge hears the other side and rules honor he

doesn't assume that the bureaucrats are correct so in that respect he is great

solace to those of us who believe the administrative state the unseen unheard

bureaucrats so much of our law except for the intelligence can't you see

that's where he's back to give them the benefit based on his national security

argument yet the president has the authority to here's here's character

country in terms of national security and foreign threats yeah here's the

argument the NSA most people don't know this the NSA is in the military and

because it's in the military their bosses the president is

commander-in-chief and therefore they don't have to follow the Fourth

Amendment I believe this is nonsense but this is the argument and if they don't

have to follow the Fourth Amendment they can spy away and I thought that's the

argument I judge Cavanaugh made in his opinion that rankles Rand Paul and

people like a judge Cavanaugh wasn't working in the White House on 9/11

quickly is because we moved on off of it was there something there that Democrats

could at least a grab on to last night as positive in terms

inclusion language I mean I'm not hearing it all today but but I am seeing

it from black conservatives that they were even surprised that he would start

there I'm just curious about because everything is being attacked most of it

on the grounds of something that we haven't even seen come forth and that's

Roe versus Wade this was real last night this this pitch to everybody was real so

here's it's a good question because I I watched his personal story being told by

him last night and I was very impressed by it he talked about coaching his

daughters he's their basketball coach I texted my dad who also coached me in

basketball and said dad you know it will be an interesting question to see if

that personal story impacts his judicial philosophy because the end of the day

senators are voting on judicial philosophy not on the fact that he said

nice things about his family okay so it'll be interesting we'll move on yeah

well you won't want to miss this vice president Mike Pence will join our own

Bret Baier on special report tonight at 6:00 p.m. Eastern right here on the fox

news channel fnc for the cool kids don't miss it president Trump is ripping

America's NATO allies calling on them to pay for their fair share this is a theme

we've seen it before he's headed to Belgium for the military alliances

summit whether the president has a point and whether those allies will meet his

financial demands and more on the Supreme Court showdown the Swift media

reaction to president Trump's choice as critics say it threatens women's rights

is that fair or is it playing to the extremes we'll debate it

stay close everyone here know what is that steak what is that steak

JEFF SESSIONS GOES ROGUE – DEFIES TRUMP WITH MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT - Duration: 13:53.

JEFF SESSIONS GOES ROGUE – DEFIES TRUMP WITH MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is on the hot seat.

He's allowed the Deep State to run wild and refused to prosecute the criminals scheming

against the President.

Now Sessions has launched an investigation into a Trump ally, crossing a line that Trump

and his supporters may never forgive.

The New York Times broke the story that the FBI and Department of Justice are investigating

Trump campaign vendor Cambridge Analytica for the alleged data breach during the 2016

election.

Cambridge became the latest liberal boogeyman – even though they did the exact same thing

the Obama campaign was praised for in 2012 – and Sessions is allowing this investigation

to proceed because his chief concern appears to be placating the swamp and anti-Trump media.

The Times reports:

"THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT AND THE F.B.I.

ARE INVESTIGATING CAMBRIDGE ANALYTICA, THE NOW-DEFUNCT POLITICAL DATA FIRM, AND HAVE

SOUGHT TO QUESTION FORMER EMPLOYEES AND BANKS THAT HANDLED ITS BUSINESS, ACCORDING TO AN

AMERICAN OFFICIAL AND OTHER PEOPLE FAMILIAR WITH THE INQUIRY.

PROSECUTORS HAVE QUESTIONED POTENTIAL WITNESSES IN RECENT WEEKS, TELLING THEM THAT THERE IS

AN OPEN INVESTIGATION INTO CAMBRIDGE ANALYTICA — WHICH WORKED ON PRESIDENT TRUMP'S ELECTION

AND OTHER REPUBLICAN CAMPAIGNS IN 2016 — AND "ASSOCIATED U.S. PERSONS."

BUT THE PROSECUTORS PROVIDED FEW OTHER DETAILS, AND THE INQUIRY APPEARS TO BE IN ITS EARLY

STAGES, WITH INVESTIGATORS SEEKING AN OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY AND ITS BUSINESS PRACTICES.

THE INVESTIGATION COMPOUNDS THE WOES OF A FIRM THAT HAS COME UNDER INTENSE SCRUTINY

FROM LAWMAKERS AND REGULATORS IN THE UNITED STATES AND BRITAIN SINCE THE NEW YORK TIMES

AND OBSERVER IN LONDON REPORTED IN MARCH THAT IT HAD HARVESTED PRIVATE DATA FROM MORE THAN

50 MILLION FACEBOOK PROFILES, AND THAT IT MAY HAVE VIOLATED AMERICAN ELECTION LAWS.

THIS MONTH, CAMBRIDGE ANALYTICA ANNOUNCED THAT IT WOULD SHUT DOWN AND DECLARE BANKRUPTCY,

SAYING THAT NEGATIVE PRESS AND CASCADING FEDERAL AND STATE INVESTIGATIONS HAD DRIVEN AWAY CUSTOMERS

AND MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE FIRM TO REMAIN IN BUSINESS."

Investigators are snooping around Cambridge despite giving a pass to the Obama campaign,

Hillary Clinton, James Clapper, James Comey, and other heroes of the left who committed

multiple crimes.

The Times also reports:

"THE FEDERAL INVESTIGATION IN THE UNITED STATES APPEARS TO FOCUS ON THE COMPANY'S

FINANCIAL DEALINGS — INVESTIGATORS HAVE REACHED OUT TO THE COMPANY'S BANKS, FOR

INSTANCE — AND HOW IT ACQUIRED AND USED PERSONAL DATA PULLED FROM FACEBOOK AND OTHER

SOURCES, ACCORDING TO THE AMERICAN OFFICIAL, WHO WAS BRIEFED ON THE INQUIRY, AND OTHER

PEOPLE FAMILIAR WITH IT.

IN ADDITION, THE INVESTIGATORS HAVE CONTACTED FACEBOOK, SAID THE OFFICIAL, WHO SPOKE ON

THE CONDITION OF ANONYMITY TO DISCUSS THE INVESTIGATION.

THE OFFICIAL WOULD NOT PROVIDE ANY OTHER DETAILS, AND FACEBOOK DECLINED TO COMMENT.

IN A SIGN OF THE INQUIRY'S SCOPE, ONE OF THE PROSECUTORS INVOLVED IS THE ASSISTANT

CHIEF OF THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT'S SECURITIES AND FINANCIAL FRAUD DIVISION, BRIAN KIDD.

THE EFFORT IS BEING ASSISTED BY AT LEAST ONE AGENT WHO INVESTIGATES CYBERCRIME FOR THE

F.B.I., THOSE PEOPLE SAID."

Trump supporters are beginning to question if Sessions is incompetent.

Sessions outrageously recused himself in the Russia investigation and has allowed Deputy

Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to thumb his nose at Congress and the Constitution by obstructing

document requests.

Sessions has compounded that error by permitting Trump's enemies to criminally leak and conspire

to destroy Donald Trump while allowing the full force of the federal government to be

turned on Trump allies like Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, and now Cambridge Analytica.

Critics believe Attorney General Sessions sat back and allowed the Deep State to run

wild while ignoring clear crimes by the left because he is afraid of liberal media blowback.

This behavior is unacceptable.

The Queen may have secretly trolled Donald Trump with her accessories - Duration: 3:37.

So the reigning monarch's decision to incorporate one minor — but crucial — accessory into her outfit on the day she met the US President and First Lady has left plenty of people convinced she was throwing some sneaky shade

In a Twitter thread which has since gone viral, @SamuraiKnitter pointed out that Queen Elizabeth II's choice in brooches during Donald Trump's time in England last week spoke volumes

On the day he arrived in the UK, she donned a beautiful vintage green flower brooch — which happened to be a gift to her from former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle

The American-made accessory was crafted in 1950, and is made from 14-karat yellow gold, diamonds, and moss agate

The Twitter user, called Julie in her bio, also noted that the Queen deliberately chose the most "sentimental" piece in her collection — a personal present from the Obamas, not one of the many state gifts she's been given by the US over the years

On the President's last day in the UK, she debuted the Sapphire Jubilee Brooch — given to her just last year as a special gift from Canada — in what some have speculated was a show of support for the nation and its leader Justin Trudeau, who has suffered constant criticism from Mr Trump

But that wasn't the only potential shade thrown at the Trumps. In another thread, Julie pointed out that the brooch may actually have been just the tip of the iceberg

"Royal-level state dinners have been held in Europe in a form we recognise today for at least 1500 years," she wrote, before referring to the dinner hosted for the Trumps by Prime Minister Theresa May during their visit

" … Usually state dinners are at invitation of the head of state. Normally Queen [Elizabeth] offers the invitation, in consultation with parliament and all those guys

"Queen E was not at the state dinner with Trump."  "Also? The dinner was held at Blenheim

The only actual palace in England that is not owned by the Anglican Church or the Royal Family," Julie added

"In short: The Queen wouldn't let Trump into her house." It follows reports that Prince Charles and Prince William left the Queen to meet Mr Trump on her own after they refused to take part in his tour of the UK

According to The Sun, they told her they did not want to get involved in his four-day visit

However, Buckingham Palace responded that as his trip was a "guest-of-government" visit, additional members of the royal family weren't required to show up

A source told the paper the pair "simply refused" to attend the meeting and added: "This business of Prince Charles and Prince William not being there for the Trump visit was a snub

"It's a very, very unusual thing for the Queen to be there on her own. Usually she is accompanied by somebody

"FT" ostro: Trump w Helsinkach zdradził interes narodowy USA - Duration: 4:05.

Wysocy rangą Republikanie muszą wyjść z cienia Trumpa i wspomnieć godną pochwały rolę, jaką odegrali w wypracowywaniu ponadpartyjnego podejścia do polityki zagranicznej, która towarzyszyła Stanom Zjednoczonym podczas zimnej wojny

in. konserwatywny "Daily Telegraph", centrowy "The Times", liberalny "The Guardian" i lewicowy "Daily Mirror"

TRUMP CLARIFIES REMARKS ON RUSSIAN MEDDLING-Tomi Lahren feat Gingrich - Duration: 13:13.

got a transcript I reviewed it I actually went out and reviewed it an

answer that I gave and I realized that there is a need for some clarification

it should have been obvious I thought it would be obvious but I would like to

clarify just in case it wasn't in a key sentence in my remarks I said the word

would instead of wouldn't the sentence should have been I don't see any reason

why I wouldn't why it wouldn't be Russian all right so there you got the

president of state say yesterday afternoon in the roosevelt room

clarifying what he had said at that press conference with vladimir putin in

helsinki newt gingrich joins us right now former Speaker of the House Fox News

contributor he's also got a great new book out it's called Trump's America mr.

speaker before the president clarified you said of the mistake you said it was

the most serious mistake of his presidency now you've heard him clarify

says did he misspoke problem with the double negative what do you think well

if you read the entire text of what he said in the Roosevelt Room he goes on in

length reinforcing his belief in the American intelligence agencies and by

the way pointing out that his critics or the people who failed when you see John

Brennan or you see other people who are Jim clapper talking on television those

were the guys who were in charge in 2016 so their hysteria and their strong

language they're the failures Trump was a candidate he wasn't in charge of

national security they were and they failed I thought that his correction was

important I frankly think he could give a major speech and put it in context

mean a lot of them stuff we've heard and I was as direct as I was the other day

because I thought it was important to get his attention he's not a guy as you

know he's not a guy who likes to correct himself or likes to admit he made a

mistake and I thought this was a big enough one that he simply had to stop

and set the record straight but but let's also look at the record

Obama was very weak in Ukraine trump has authorized the sale of offensive weapons

to the Ukrainians to defend themselves Trump has expelled 60s Russian

intelligence people in the United States he has closed for Russian offices the

United States he went to NATO to do what to get him to

increase their spending so they would be stronger in containing Russia he

lectured it's the chance so Germany about what about buying natural gas from

Russia and propping up Putin so to suggest that somehow Trump has some

Patsy for Putin requires you to deny everything that he's done and that's why

correcting that one mistake I thought was very important I just heard just

real quick Leon Panetta the former CIA director says the way Trump behaves is

clear signal the Russians have something on him do you have do you want to

counter that or you want to agree with that sure I think I'd sure I think John

Brennan is a total disgrace no I'm well that was a failure yeah

oh well and Panetta said by was Brennan had caught a treasonous in Panetta's

case I'd like to know why why when he was advising Obama they didn't provide

offensive weapons to Ukraine why they didn't do the things to increase

spending at NATO why you know I just think that all of a sudden you have this

revisionist history from the left the fact is that Obama was totally

ineffective Hillary Clinton's reset button was a joke she gave the Russians

access to uranium that they wouldn't have gotten otherwise so when I when I

look at the totality of the Obama period it seems to me that Trump has been so

much tougher than Obama was that there's no question and I don't know why Leon

would say that me Leon's a pretty balanced guy but I thought it was

Brennan just because it sounded like Brennan Wright who was pretty well

there's something to that too the Russians would not be in the Middle East

again if President if President Obama enforced his red line in Syria that left

an opening for the Russians to come back in starts taking the so-called weapons

of mass destruction that poison gas out by the way they left almost all of it in

and next thing you know they're flying their planes and that president Syria is

is where it is today you know I think it's fair to say that compared to in

terms of who was softer on Putin I think that Trump has fired about a hundred and

twenty-five missiles into Syria in order to enforce our disagreement with the use

of chemical weapons as I said a minute ago he expelled in in supporting Great

Britain he expelled sixty Russian officers who were in the United States

he closed four offices I didn't see anything like that at of Obama so but

but I'm not going to say that Obama therefore was it was a puppet of Putin

and I'm frankly very surprised that somebody as rational as Leon Panetta

would have said that yeah well the president's saying it's Trump

derangement syndrome why the left is treating in this way this is his latest

tweet he said some people hate the fact that I get along well with President

Putin of Russia they would rather go to war than see this it's called Trump

derangement syndrome well you do remember that on the left they had four

different sets of signs to oppose any of the four people that Trump picked to be

the US Supreme Court justice so it gives you some flavor

you know they wake up in the morning they know Trump has done something wrong

they just don't know what it is yet but they know that they'll be outraged

you know they know that would spend the day being outraged they just don't know

exactly what it is they're gonna be outraged by but I want to go back this

was a very important moment for this president if he had not fixed this if he

had not had that to that talk in the Roosevelt Room if he had not gone on to

reinforce the American intelligence system I think that we've been a much

bigger mess right now and I'm really delighted that he took a serious look at

it he hates to correct himself it's not who he is but I think he did the right

thing I think he did it well all right Newt Gingrich joining us today with his

perspective mr. speaker thank you very much Thanks I'm not pro-russia Pro

anybody I just want to have this country be safe I don't want nuclear weapons

even people thinking about it you know Russia and the United States control 90%

of the nuclear weapons in the world and getting along with Russia and not only

for that reason that's a good thing not a bad thing that says that before and he

said it in the past and he said it again last night

of course Tucker did his interview a couple of days ago when he was over in

Finland that's right right after the press conference Tucker got a one-on-one

with him so did Sean Hannity so we aired one the first night and then one last

night let's bring in Tommy Lehren she's out in California I assume which is

where you where she lives great to see you this morning thanks for

waking up super early what do you what do you think Tommy about good to see you

thank you what do you think about the president's comments and the way the the

media treated him well there were many on the left and of course some of our

favorite never Trump errs who were said about this press conference before it

even began because they will use any excuse to be outraged at this president

for doing exactly what he said he was going to do which was try to repair

relations with Russia and beyond that this investigation this endless

investigation has been going on for far too long and there has been no evidence

of collusion this president is fed up as are most of the American people if

there's evidence of collusion with Russia we would like to see it if not

stop wasting our time because the candidates that the Democrats wanted to

win did not win in 2016 let's move on this president is fed up I'm fed up I'm

sure everyone watching is fed up with us at this point right well Tommy the the

rhetoric from the left regarding what he said and he said he misspoke yesterday

when he clarified yesterday in the Roosevelt Room but the rhetoric from the

left has been really hyperbolic I mean some people said that what he said was

worse than 9/11 worse than Kristallnacht worse than Pearl Harbor that he's a

traitor and it's treason it's it's a complete Trump derangement syndrome

example of sometimes it happens like that on the left oh these are the final

stages of Trump derangement syndrome and you're gonna see it more and more as we

head into midterms but again I will have folks look at this and I'll have them

ask the Democrats many of the never Trump errs and of course many in the

mainstream media do you want this president to wage war against Russia

because Hillary Clinton lost the election it's a very simple question

because if you look at the outrage of the Selective outrage I might add

from the left it would almost seem as if that is what they want so that is my

question to them moving forward what would you have this president do would

you like him to work towards diplomacy and world peace or would you like him to

be aggressive towards Russia because Hillary Clinton lost the election for

example right and let's just look at the results at the tax cut was only for the

red to really look at the economy you can't argue with that North North Korea

well it's all falling apart talks aren't going well yesterday we got the remains

I understand of 50 North Korea Korean War veterans so that is on-track plus a

letter back and forth and now we have an understanding that if Russia if the

Russia deal comes forward we're going to have a series of consistent meetings

with higher-ups in Russia for the most contentious issue in the world right now

so the results and the anger will subside if the if the results are

different and they are and they are turning out the way the president says

do you think the Democrats want this president to have any victories because

I haven't seen one indication of that thus far into this presidency all those

things that you mentioned all the accomplishments it almost seems that the

Democrats are rooting against this president and therefore rooting against

this country this issue is no different all right

Tommy let's switch gears there's a 28-year old political newcomer she's a

socialist who won the Democratic primary here in New York City her name is

Alexandria Acacio Cortes and I don't know if she really has a handle on how

the jobs thing works but she had this observation about the unemployment rate

which right now is very low unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs

unemployment is low because people are working 60 70 80 hours a week and can

barely feed their kids and so I do think that right now when we have this

no-holds-barred wild-west hyper capitalism what that means is profit at

any cost capitalism has not always existed in the

world and it will not always exist in the world okay so what do you make of

her economics ideas where everybody the reason unemployment is low is

everybody's got two jobs isn't it disturbing that the quote future of the

Democratic Party doesn't know how the unemployment rate is calculated I didn't

think there could be a better face for the Democratic Party than Hillary

Clinton but then Alexander Acacio Cortez came along and I have to tell you it's

disturbing but like I told you guys a couple weeks ago if this is truly the

new face of the Democratic Party I really like our chances in November a

couple of things Tommy she's diametrically opposed to you but I like

when talented people like you and her she's got talent get into politics so I

don't think it's I don't like the way everyone's vilifying her but I just have

a problem when Tom Perez says she's the future of the party and they know of

nothing about her in fact Joe Lieberman came out yesterday and said Joe Crowley

should do what I did when I lost my primary I went back in his independent

and I went back in one might see that Joe Crowley should go try to do that you

think he should go do do that well for the future of this country would hope

that reasonable Democrats are coming forward and challenging someone like

Alexander Acacio Cortes because the things that she's saying are truly toxic

when she when she raves about socialism I wonder if she's looked at Venezuela

lately in the fruits of what socialism produces again it's disturbing and it's

deserving because a lot of young people are looking to her as the future of the

Democratic Party I think the Democratic Party deserves better because remember

people flee from socialism not to it and we don't need leaders like her preaching

the value of socialism to our young people to our citizens yeah but you

think about it during the last presidential cycle who was the red hot

on the political left it was Bernie Sanders and he's a socialist and he had

a lot of kids interested in his message yet and here she is today well you have

to also consider to where her region where she loves she lives in New York I

don't know if that message would would also work in other parts of the country

where you do have blue states right well see Tommy have a great week thank you

very much for joining us today

Trump Putin Helsinki MSM News Coverage Hysteria Compilation - Duration: 2:08.

But I want to play a compilation as we hand the baton to Paul Watson, of Democrats and

Republicans throwing Trump under the bus and misrepresenting what happened in that press

conference yesterday.

And I've got to tell you, I think Trump comming out and clarifying will be blood in the water.

I mean how dare a president meet with the Russian leader.

My God.

And these are the same globalists selling out our sovereignty, the same ones opening

our borders, and then they turn around at us the patriots and say they're the bad guys.

Paul Watson takes over in a minute and a half.

But first, here's this compilation.

First of all I just have to say, I'm sick to my stomach.

I'm really feeling nauseous.

Stunned.

Gobsmacked.

We're hearing words like, I feel sick, Uh, this is frightening, [ unintelligible ] abomination

Shocking!

Stunning!

Genuinely stunning!

WHAT is going ON?!?

Unbelievable!

Astonishing!

Just astonishing!

It is astonishing!

It's heartbreaking, and it represents, I think AJ: the talking point!

Uh, in our nation's history.

It's time for Americans to be out on the streets!

There were people protesting in the streets every day ..in the 70's.

Why is that not happening now?

AJ: This guy making America great again, he's a Russian!

...shadow government come out and say we cannot side with the government.

As an american citizen, I- I- I- just personally think today is just an incredibly depressing -

Yeah!!

..moment in our time, our history as an American.

AJ: Oh my Gosh, it's so horrible.

Says the Vanderbilt.

Is this a new low?

Appreciate you both being with us on what has been a really difficult day uh for uh

for uh for AJ: This is where they turn the pro-American

guy into the anti-American guy.

...free world.

He didn't even meet his own low bar for not screwing this up!

I mean it is an absolute disgrace.

A parody of a disgrace!

This entire week of President Trump abroad has made Hillary Clinton seem uh all the more

[ unintelligible ] AJ: Oh, she's such an angel.

[simult] All he had to do was not, you know,

put on jammies and crawl under the covers with Vladimir Putin, and he couldn't do THAT!

Do White House officials realize

how HORRIFIED so many Americans are today?

Mr. Putin now is the master puppeteer.

AJ: Oh, Americans are so angry the economy's back.

...If Vladimir Putin picked our President, does anything else matter?

AJ: Here's the good news.

These scumbag Democrat globalists are done.

Trump says there's no time limit on North Korea's denuclearization - Duration: 1:54.

U.S. President Donald Trump seems to be taking a step back from his previous demands for

immediate denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula... as he said....

there's "no time limit" for ending North Korea's nuclear weapons program.

Here's our Oh Soo-young with more details.

President Trump has indicated he's not in a hurry to denuclearize North Korea.

Speaking to reporters at the White House Tuesday, Trump said there's "no time limit" nor a "speed

limit" on getting Pyongyang to abandon its nuclear weapons..

He was quick to add, however, that talks between the two sides are ongoing with American hostages

back from the North and no nuclear or missile tests in months.

Trump's remarks represent a shift in tone from just last month when the U.S. leader

said the process should start "without delay" and could begin "very quickly."

He has accused past U.S. governments of allowing the regime to buy time to build up its nuclear

arsenal,... by engaging in time-consuming step-by-step negotiations with the North.

In recent weeks, however, Trump himself has been on the receiving end of criticism,...

for a perceived lack of concrete progress after his June 12th summit with Kim Jong-un.

Their accord on denuclearization was largely seen as vague and short on detail.

A follow-up meeting between U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and North Korean officials

in Pyongyang this month also failed to produce specific agreements or a timeline on denuclearization.

Pompeo, however, has stressed he does not have a timeline for the North,... and with

President Trump's recent remarks that there's no rush,... observers are divided on whether

this is a negotiation tactic, or simply the administration's failure to narrow differences

with Pyongyang.

North Korea has called for a gradual denuclearization process met with synchronized concessions

from Washington.

Addressing the growing skepticism,...

President Trump said on Tuesday that his administration is "just going through the process" and that

"discussions are going very well."

Trump reverses remark on Russia meddling, says he misspoke - Duration: 2:37.

U.S. President Donald Trump has made a complete U-turn on his comments about alleged Russian

election meddling in the 2016 U.S. elections.

At the White House on Tuesday, Trump said he accepts U.S. intelligence agencies' conclusion

that Russia interfered - just a day after he sided with Russia on the matter during

his summit with President Putin.

For more on this and other news around the world we turn to our Ro Aram…

Aram… what exactly did Trump have to say?

Well Mark… Trump shocked the world after Monday's joint press conference with Putin

in Helsinki, embracing Putin's denial that Moscow meddled in America's 2016 elections.

He said he didn't see why it would be the Russians.

However, on Tuesday, he said he misspoke.

"…..It should have been obvious, I thought it would be obvious but I would like to clarify,

just in case it wasn't.

In a key sentence in my remarks, I said the word 'would' instead of 'wouldn't.'

The sentence should have been, 'I don't see any reason why I wouldn't or why it wouldn't

be Russia.'……"

He also said he had full faith and support in U.S. intelligence agencies, but added that

Russian interference had no impact on the 2016 election.

He also declined to respond when asked if he would condemn President Putin.

Although Trump tried to weather the storm of criticism he faced for Monday's press conference,

the damage had already been done.

U.S. lawmakers from both sides of the aisle denounced Trump's decision to side with Putin,

accusing him of siding with an adversary rather than his own country.

They also called for tougher sanctions and other actions to punish Russia.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said the President's explanation was 24 hours too

late, and in the wrong place.

Also on Tuesday in South Africa, former U.S. President Barack Obama gave his view on the

direction of global politics.

"…..Look around, strongman politics are ascendant suddenly, whereby elections and

some pretence of democracy are maintained, the form of it, but those in power seek to

undermine every institution or norm that gives democracy meaning…..

We see the utter loss of shame among political leaders where they're caught in a lie and

they just double down and they lie some more….."
