Trump news on Youtube Apr 11 2018

Special counsel Robert Mueller is investigating a $150,000 donation made by a Ukrainian businessman

to a Donald Trump charity in 2015, despite the fact that the same Ukrainian donated $13

million to the Clinton Foundation.

The donation, from steel magnate Victor Pinchuk, is 86 times less the amount that Hillary Clinton

received when she served as secretary of state.

Dailycaller.com reports: But Special Counsel Robert Mueller is not investigating The Clintons.

Instead, he is conducting a broad investigation of Donald Trump, including the flow of foreign

money into various Trump-controlled entities.

Mueller began investigating the Pinchuk donation after receiving documents in response to a

subpoena issued to the Trump Organization — the real estate company Trump ran before

entering politics.

In September 2015, Trump appeared via video link at a conference Pinchuk hosted in Kiev.

Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, negotiated details of the event with Douglas

Schoen, a former consultant for Bill Clinton, according to The New York Times.

Trump did not initially request payment for the appearance, but Cohen contacted Schoen

at one point to request a $150,000 honorarium, The Times reported.

In a seemingly unrelated matter, the FBI raided Cohen's Manhattan office and residence on

Monday.

The search was reportedly conducted for records related to Cohen's payments to Stormy Daniels,

a porn star claiming to have had an affair with Trump in 2006.

The Victor Pinchuk Foundation issued a statement to The Times, downplaying the donation to

Trump.

The charity reached out to Trump and other world leaders in order to "promote strengthened

and enduring ties between Ukraine and the West," it said.

Contact to Trump was made at a time when "it was by no means assured that Mr. Trump would

be the Republican nominee in 2016," the foundation pointed out.

Pinchuk appears to have had a much closer relationship to The Clintons.

In June 2012, the billionaire attended a dinner at the Clintons' residence.

And through Schoen, Pinchuk lobbied the State Department in 2011 and 2013.

Documents filed with the Justice Department show Schoen and Pinchuk met on several occasions

in 2012 with Melanne Verveer, a close Clinton associate who then served as an ambassador

at large for global women's issues.

Bill Clinton attended Pinchuk's annual Yalta conference, The New York Times reported on

Feb. 13, 2014.

Pinchuk also attended the former president's 65th birthday party in Los Angeles.

The FBI reportedly investigated the Clinton Foundation over its foreign donations.

The status of that investigation is unclear.

Democrats FURIOUS About What Trump Just Put Outside White House - Duration: 10:49.

Democrats FURIOUS About What Trump Just Put Outside White House

Democrats are currently up in arms over guns and demanding that Donald Trump take action

to repeal the Second Amendment.

However, in his mission to make America great again, Trump is tackling another issue the

mainstream media ignores that is actually having a far more negative impact on our nation.

Unlike Barack Obama, Trump has noticed that nothing is killing more Americans right now

than the opioid crisis.

Now, Trump is taking action to fight this crisis head-on in a way that is sure to enrage

liberals everywhere.

The Washington Examiner reported that next month, Trump is installing a memorial right

outside the White House to commemorate the 22,000 people who died in 2015 from a prescription

opioid overdose.

This will infuriate liberals, as they would rather Trump build a memorial for the 50 people

who have been killed in mass shootings this year than for the thousands who have lost

their lives to drugs.

Hosted by the National Park Service and the nonprofit National Safety Council, the memorial

will be placed on the White House Ellipse, home of the National Christmas Tree.

"This stirring exhibit will be open to the public from April 12 through April 18 to educate

visitors on the devastating impact of the opioid crisis," White House press secretary

Sarah Sanders said.

Part of the National Safety Council's "Stop Everyday Killers" campaign, the memorial

will show a wall of engraved pills depicting the faces of people who died along with a

note memorializing their lives.

"These stories are tough to hear, and this exhibit will be an intensely emotional and

somber experience," Sanders said.

"But it's also a reminder that lives are at stake, and we must take action to end the

plague of addiction that is ravaging communities all across our nation."

"The memorial encourages consumers to do two simple things: talk with their healthcare

providers about opioids and clean out their medicine cabinets," said Deborah Hersman,

president and CEO of the National Safety Council.

Liberals can whine about guns as much as they want to, but Trump has much bigger fish to

fry.

Stop Trump Tariffs - Duration: 3:53.

Choo choo!

She gets to come to her dad being home every night

and if the mill were to go under, I wouldn't have that.

There's 1500 jobs on the line

with a stroke of a pen from the United States Government.

I never, ever would have dreamed

that Donald Trump would be affecting my livelihood.

This is serious, this could be catastrophic.

Donald Trump is playing with Canadian lives.

Punitive duties imposed on newsprint and paper sales to the US

pose a threat to more than 15,000 workers in small towns

in BC, Quebec and Newfoundland.

The United States Department of Commerce slapped preliminary and

punishing protectionist tariffs

on exports of Krueger and Catalyst products.

With a 32% hit, it wouldn't be very long before

they'd have to shut the doors on the mill.

I mean nobody's going to stay in business losing money.

Because he had one company in Washington State?

Raise an unfair trade dispute with Canada?

Does that make a stitch of sense to anybody?

The mill will close. If somebody doesn't do something,

not in August, not in September,

if somebody doesn't start speaking up now, we're done.

While they complain to the WTO it will be at least

August before they get a ruling.

We don't have one year, two years, three years to fight this.

We need the Prime Minister to step in now.

And only certain mills and certain companies were picked on.

A very unjust way.

One of Donald Trump's rich golf buddies if you can imagine.

The Canadian companies were not even given a chance

to present any evidence to fight these unfair tariffs.

We haven't done anything to hurt anybody;

we're making a good quality product at a competitive price.

We're not stepping on anybody's toes. We're not dumping our product into your playground.

Leave us alone. Go away.

What he's done has been like a kick to the stomach

to all the people that work in the mill here.

These tariffs are not only going to shut down these mills

but they are also going to shut down these communities.

I'm on mat leave now and I'm hoping

that I'll have a job to go back to at the mill when I'm ready to go back.

Here is one of our members off on maternity leave

with her first child and we have Donald Trump

messing with not only her livelihood,

but the economic stability of the family?

There's no excuse for that.

It would be really sad for the mill to have to shut down because

it would impact the whole city.

This is the biggest private sector employer.

It's very very very important to our economy.

It's going to affect schools, businesses, the works.

If that mill goes, there's no forestry industry left in Newfoundland.

My job would be over and I'd have to go somewhere else.

I'd have to pack up and move and hope for the best.

I mean a lot of people would be out of work. Probably have to move away.

I could see our province dying off.

This is our town. This is our mill.

Just leave us alone and quit the bullying.

The Trump administration in the US needs to understand that if you attack

our members in Corner Brook,

Trois-Rivières and British Columbia, there will be a reaction.

We're not threatened with a trade war. We're in a trade war.

Why aren't we cutting off the oil? Why are we giving them hydro for decent prices?

We are we bowing down to the US?

Donald Trump is acting like a bully

and the only way to deal with a bully is to stand up and push back.

Unifor will do everything, everything possible.

We are going to stand up, and we are going to fight.

Melania Trump Is A Dream In Form Fitting Denim Outfit For White House Event - Duration: 3:00.

Melania Trump is a dream in denim!

The first lady welcomed a group of middle school students to the White House on Monday

for an event she hosted alongside Education Secretary Besty DeVos.

The 47-year-old donned a form-fitting denim skirt with a statement-making zipper on the

front.

She paired the skirt with a bright red sweater and stilettos of the same hue.

And while Melania's fashion certainly turned heads, so did one interaction between her

and one student.

Melania Trump invited Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos to the Blue Room of the White

House, where the ladies spoke to middle school students about their daily agendas.

The FLOTUS dressed casually, opting for a bright, tomato-red Polo Ralph Lauren sweater

($245) that she coordinated with colorful pumps.

The focal point of her outfit was an Agnona denim skirt, which came in a dark wash and

was complete with a trendy tasseled zipper down the center, contrast stitching, and symmetrical

pockets.

Melania's design came to a modest length, but while some might expect her in a wool

pencil skirt or sleek work trousers, the first lady aimed to surprise, shopping the side

of her wardrobe that might be more familiar to young children — something a school teacher

might wear, perhaps.

Melania Trump's wardrobe as First Lady is definitely luxe.

You'll find designer brands such as Dior, Valentino, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Ralph Lauren,

and even Kardashian favorite Balmain.

She gardened in a $1,380 shirt and didn't think twice about dropping $51,000 on a coat.

That's how Melania maintains her feminine, tailored style — it's her signature aesthetic,

and she sticks to it!

Though she often wears the most lavish clothing, we've noticed there are some pieces in her

closet that are more affordable.

You'll have to look hard, but on a few occasions, Melania proved even she can't escape a good

fashion deal — particularly when it comes to her sneakers.

When you think of Melania Trump's footwear, the Manolo Blahnik pumps she wore to visit

victims of Hurricane Harvey might first come to mind.

These shoes take the lead in controversy as far as the FLOTUS's wardrobe goes.

But from the time she stepped into the White House at the Inauguration (wearing a pair

of powder blue stilettos that matched her Ralph Lauren coat so closely, we couldn't

believe it), Melania's been cementing her footprint in designer.

Manolo Blahnik and Christian Louboutin are behind some of her most-talked-about looks,

but you might be surprised to learn that Melania also owns Adidas Stan Smiths and Converse

sneakers.

Trump thanks Xi for 'kind words' on trade, but White House still calls for 'action' - Duration: 2:03.

Chinese President Xi Jinping said this week that Beijing will open up to more imports

of cars and more foreign investment in the auto industry.

U.S. President Donald Trump, hours later, thanked him for what he called the Chinese

leader's "kind words."

Stock markets got a boost from that exchange, but the dispute over tariffs is expected to

continue.

Kwon Jang-ho reports.

President Trump has continued to express his friendly relationship with Xi Jinping, after

he took to Twitter to Tuesday to thank the Chinese leader for, quote, "kind words on

tariffs and automobile barriers".

Despite recent trade disputes, he declared that they will make 'great progress together.'

This was in response to President Xi's speech at an economic forum on Tuesday, where he

pledged to reduce limits on foreign investments in manufacturing, particularly in cars.

This concession by the Chinese President has put the brakes on a tariff war between Washington

and Beijing that had started to build steam in recent weeks.

The markets responded, with the Dow climbing almost one-point-eight percent on Tuesday,

and shares in Ford and General Motors also saw spikes of one-point-eight and three-point-three

precent respectively.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index and Shanghai's composite index rallied one-point-seven percent

as well.

However, some analysts warn that President Xi's comments offered little in substantive

changes, and the White House spokesperson also gave a more tempered response later in

the day.

"Certainly we are encouraged by President Xi's words and his kind words but at the same

time we want to see concrete actions from China.

We're going to continue moving forward in the process and in the negotiations until

those happen."

There were further signs of a continued bumpy road ahead, after the World Trade Organization

also revealed on Tuesday that China had made an official complaint over Washington's tariff

hike on imported steel and aluminum.

Sixty days of consultations with the U.S. has been requested, and if that fails, Beijing

is likely to ask the WTO for a ruling from a panel of trade experts.

Kwon Jang-ho, Arirang News.
