Trump's NAFTA demands REJECTED: Talks stall as Mexico and Canada refuse deal

The Canadian and Mexican ministers railed against aggressive US demands that would help boost US trade but diminish their own markets.

But despite the widespread disagreements at the talks in Washington, both Canada and Mexico vowed to keep negotiating to avoid an en impasse.

The Trump administrations proposals to reshape NFTA to help shrink US trade deficits have clouded the talks to modernise the 23-year pact.

US negotiators rolled out a raft of proposals urging Canada to dismantle its system of protections for the dairy and poultry sectors, a move that Ottawa will reject.

Additionally, the Trump administration set out proposals that could impose fresh restrictions on long haul trucking from Mexico. That too is likely to meet stiff resistance, Mexican officials say.

Washingtons demands, previously identified as red lines by its neighbors, include forcing renegotiations every five years.

It also wanted to reserve the lions share of automotive manufacturing for the United States and make it easier to pursue import barriers against some Canadian and Mexican goods.

Mexican and Canadian officials at the talks have said that these proposals are unacceptable.

Moises Kalach, head of the international negotiating arm of Mexicos powerful CCE business lobby, said America's demands were ridiculously extreme." He said: "The key is to remain calm and see if the American government is ready to negotiate."  Now fears are growing that negotiations to modernize NAFTA, which underpins some $1.2 trillion in annual trade between the three countries, could even extend into March.

It is yet to be seen how Mr Trump will react to the stumbling blocks. During his 2016 presidential campaign he pledged to "bring back jobs" and reinvigorate the US manufacturing sector.

Since taking office, he has continued his attacks on NAFTA even going so far as to threaten to terminate it if Mexico and Canada will not agree to changes.

US Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, said that the tough negotiations reflect the US President's desire to claw back lost US manufacturing jobs.

He said Mr Trump's main aim was to slash the US goods trade deficits which amounted to $64 billion with Mexico and $11 billion with Canada last year.

ABC Majority of Americans Say Democrats Stand For Nothing Except Being Against President Trump VIDEO - Duration: 11:24.

ABC Majority of Americans Say Democrats Stand For Nothing Except Being Against President

Trump (VIDEO)

Leftists are slowly becoming the symbol of all unintelligent and brainwashed masses united

under the ELITISTS who control them to put themselves into a better position, not help

the people.

Leftists have no clue what socialism is, they don't even know the American political system,

but they know one thing: they know who are they supposed to hate and that's President

Trump.

But the rest of the nation loves the new reform, America will be great again.

Read more below:

Jon Karl of ABC News announced the findings of a new poll this weekend.

A majority of Americans think the Democrats don't stand for anything except being against

Trump.

In the video below, Karl says:

ABC News' Jonathan Karl says new ABC News/Washington Post poll shows majority of the country believes

that "Democrats stand for nothing more than opposing" Donald J. Trump.

"That's a problem for Democrats…they have to stand for something beyond simply

opposing the president."

Watch:

The New York Post has more on the Democrats' lack of ideas:

Why Democrats are still losing the war of ideas

Last week, a Politico/Morning Consult poll on President Trump's proposed travel ban

on visitors from six predominantly Muslim countries revealed a somewhat surprising discovery:

60 percent of voters agreed with Trump's proposed ban.

That includes 56 percent of independents and even 41 percent of Democrats.

The plan, however, has a distinct advantage: It's the only idea on the table.

What's the alternative to the ban from the left?

What's the plan to stop terrorist attacks?

Literally nothing.

Every time there's a deadly attack, liberals rush to downplay the dead bodies as just a

regular part of life and not take any action lest we radicalize more terrorists.

After the Boston Marathon bombing in 2013, then-President Barack Obama said that we "refuse

to be terrorized."

After the November 2015 terrorist attacks in France, the deadliest day of violence in

France since World War II, Mayor Bill de Blasio said "terrorists can't succeed if we refuse

to be terrorized."

H/T AmericanLookout

What do you think about this?

Mayor Bill de Blasio, for instance, needs to learn history and he desperately needs

to make some changes in his state's policy.

On the other hand, if the leaders of the leftists are this much arrogant and stupid, just imagine

the "minions', the blind followers.

Seoul, Washington confirm Nov. 7 bilateral summit in Seoul... first state visit by U.S. president.. - Duration: 2:18.

We now have official confirmation that Presidents Moon Jae-in and Donald Trump will hold a bilateral

summit in Seoul on November 7th.

Those confirmations came on Monday from Cheong Wa Dae and the White House.

We also know President Trump, who will be coming to South Korea on a state visit, will

deliver a speech at the National Assembly on the Seoul-Washington alliance and tackling

North Korea.

Our chief Blue House correspondent Moon Connyoung starts us off.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in and U.S. President Donald Trump will sit down for an

official bilateral meeting in Seoul on November 7th

to discuss ways to further strengthen their decades-old alliance and bolster joint efforts

amid rising tensions over North Korea's nuclear and missile program.

Mr. Trump's trip to Seoul, confirmed by both the Blue House and the White House on Monday,

will be the first for the U.S. president since taking office in January this year... and

will make him the first foreign head of state to visit South Korea since President Moon

took office in May.

In a statement to the press, the Blue House said...

President Moon will hold a one-on-one with his visiting U.S. counterpart which will be

followed by a joint press event and host a state dinner for President Donald Trump and

First Lady Melania Trump on the seventh of November.

During his stay in Seoul, the U.S. leader will also speak at the National Assembly becoming

the first U.S. president to do so in 24 years... where, according to the White House... "he

will celebrate the enduring alliance and friendship between the United States and the Republic

of Korea, and call on the international community to join together in maximizing pressure on

North Korea."

Noting that Mr. Trump will be the first U.S. president in a quarter century to make a state

visit to South Korea... the Blue House said his travel will underscore the two countries'

ironclad commitment to their longstanding security alliance and reaffirm the two heads-of-state's

personal trust and friendship.

Mr. Trump's trip to Seoul is part of his whistle-stop tour of Asia which will also take him to Japan,

China, Vietnam, and the Philippines... the last two countries for annual regional meetings

which will also involve South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

Trump's Nixonian tone about the press - Duration: 3:47.

President Trump: And it's frankly disgusting the way the press is able to write whatever they want to write.

And people should look into it.

These are truly dishonest people.

The fake media is trying to silence us.

But we will not let them.

Because the people know the truth.

President Richard Nixon: I have never heard or seen such outrageous, vicious, distorted reporting in 27 years of public life.

I'm not blaming anybody for that.

But when people are pounded, night after night, with that kind of frantic, hysterical reporting, it naturally shakes their confidence.

And yet, don't get the impression that you aroused my anger.

(Laughter)

You see, one can only be angry with those he respects.

Trump: CNN and others, and others. NBC is equally as bad.

The failing New York Times wrote a big long front-page story yesterday.

It's like the failing New York Times, which is like so bad.

(Crowd cheers and boos)

Or the Washington Post, which I call a lobbying tool for Amazon.

We just took, they're so dishonest, we just took the press credentials away - I love it!

We just took the press credentials away from the dishonest Washington Post.

Trump: That was just fake news by NBC, which gives a lot of fake news lately.

Donald trump motivational speech

Donald trump motivation

Donald trump catch phrases words

over 20 years ago I coined the expression think big and it's been a

part of my life ever since it's also come true

I became an even bigger success after I said it than I was before

and that's one reason I think it's an important way to think it obviously

works and that's what I'm going to talk about today what I said exactly in my

first book the art of the deal is as follows

I like thinking big I always have to me it's very simple if you're going to be

thinking anyway you might as well think big that book was a best-seller and it's

considered a business classic at this point but I never thought those words

would become bestsellers in their own right it's an interesting point that I'm

famous for two very short statements think big and you're fired but let's

stick to the first one for today and I'd suggest strongly that you pay attention

so that you won't have to hear the second one thinking big starts with the

details and grows from there because I'm a builder I'm very aware of the

importance of having a good foundation you can't take chances and construction

you can't be HAP hazard and say well maybe this will work maybe it won't so

let's try it and find out because a lot of people will be at risk I have to know

if something will work or not every inch has to be accounted for in other words

thinking big starts with being Pharaoh so number one be thorough don't count on

happenstance to get you anywhere because it won't number two get a

momentum going and keep your momentum going you have to have big ideas but

you've got to have the energy to get them done which can sometimes take a

long time if you don't have moment you will not have what it takes to get

the job done patience alone isn't enough I have a

lawyer friend who used to refer to me as the reverse tornado who builds

everything in his path I always like that because it applies a lot of energy

and a lot of momentum and that's exactly what it takes to get anything done so

keep your momentum going number three stay focused you have to

stay focused the minute you lose focus you will also

be losing your momentum they go together and you will accomplish a lot more even

amazing things if you make sure you keep these two things working together for

you I've seen very talented people literally go down the drain because they

couldn't seem to keep their focus long enough to get anything done in this day

of multitasking that can be a real challenge but it's absolutely necessary

ask yourself this question what should I be thinking about right now that simple

question can restore your focus in no time at all and your answer right now

should be listening to Donald Trump number four look at the solution not the

problem this is very important if you ever want to learn to think big and

here's why no matter what you do you're bound to run into problems it's just

part of life a part of business a part of anything worth doing if you let the

problems get in your way they'll become bigger than your idea was

to begin with and you will be a wipeout no matter how bad things look keep your

focus on the solution and you will be surprised how things can work out and

work out properly one way I do this is to ask myself when confronting a

possible problem is this a blip or is this a catastrophe a catastrophe is

something like an earthquake a tsunami a war and so forth and a blip is

everything else right away you'll have the right perspective and your

equilibrium will be restored so keep your focus on the solution number 5c

opportunity for what it is an opportunity for example why are you

listening to me today curiosity you like me you don't like me you want to learn

you have nothing else to do you want to hear me tell you you're fired I hope not

but whatever your reasons might be they brought you to a good place to get

involved and to learn and that's an opportunity right there people think

that because I'm rich and famous that I know everything I know a lot but one

thing I know is that I don't know everything so I ask myself this question

every day what can I learn today that I didn't know before and you know what I

learned something new every single day that's a big reason for my success and

the same thing can apply to you take the time to see today as an opportunity and

you'll be surprised by what can come your way be open to new ideas and you

will be creating your own opportunities before too long

number six know everything you can about what you're doing that's a good way to

cover your bases another good way is to read the book Robert Kiyosaki and I have

written together why we want you to be rich it's about covering your bases and

knowing what's going on I remember when some guys came in to meet with me about

a great idea they had for an atrium for a building on Wall Street it was a

beautiful idea except for one thing none of them had thought about how the

building would be supported around this fabulous atrium they didn't take into

account the steel columns that were necessary to support a 72 storey

building a very big and embarrassing oversight that could have been avoided

if they'd taken the time to think about what they were doing don't let that

happen to you what you're doing first number seven be

lucky remember the old saying the harder I work the luckier I get

well it happens to be true it works for me and I've encountered some pretty big

successes but this goes along with something that's absolutely necessary

for great success be passionate you have to love what you're doing if you want to

be successful at it my father told me that it's absolutely true

I might work seven days a week but it doesn't seem like work to me because I

love what I'm doing if you don't like what you're doing find something else to

do or do it part-time until you can't find something full-time you will never

be successful happy or healthy unless you're doing what you love to do that's

just the way it is so give it some thought in fact give it a lot of thought

for example if you're feeling frustrated there are two ways to look at the

situation frustration can mean that maybe you're expecting too much or it

can be an indication that you know you should be or could be doing more use

frustration as a motivator use it to get where you want to go instead of staying

where you don't want to be but above all be passionate that's the fast track to

success no matter what your interests are number eight see yourself as

victorious that can zap negativity immediately and put a positive spin on

problems I've gotten to the point where I see problems as challenges that Island

I'm eating and dealing with my point here is that no matter what you do you

will encounter problems why not see them as challenges instead and know that you

are more capable of dealing with them that's positive thinking with a

realistic slant when I go into negotiations I keep an open mind to what

may happen but I can tell you that there's already a done deal attitude on

my part I've already thought the process through to the extent that I know

everything will be better off if they agree with what I've come up with

because I've taken both sides into account I enter the situation with a

victorious attitude and I've had enough victories to know that this attitude

works using number 9 be smart know that you have something unique to offer

because you do use the tools that are provided for you and remain open to new

ideas that's being smart that's also where innovation comes from being smart

means you know how to use what you've got that doesn't mean there's nothing

left to learn but it means that you will have the ability to learn and move

forward with success and success is very important success is what you want just

be successful believe me you'll be happier I know people who have had very

few real advantages in life and yet they've managed to become giant

successes they figured out how to use what they had not to dwell on what they

didn't have I'm convinced that everyone is something useful to offer and if you

apply yourself diligently you'll find that you have what it takes to succeed

and you're going to be a lot happier for it

number 10 above all never give up never

ever never give up the only time you will be a failure is if you quit trying

only losers quit the biggest losers in the world are quitters winners keep on

going so whatever you do never give up my father always used to harp never give

up son never give up don't ever quit I never

want to see you give up or quit well my father was a smart guy and I listened to

him and remember think big

give up never give up I say the universe is on your side

Trump Says Blame Republicans, Not Him, For His Incompetence - Duration: 4:59.

On Monday, Donald Trump had a cabinet meeting where the press for some reason, decided it

would be a good idea to attend this because maybe they thought they were gonna get some

decent info from Donald Trump, maybe he was gonna talk about real issues.

But instead, of course, Donald Trump decided to spend most of the time talking to the press

about how screwed up the Republican Party really is.

Here's what Donald Trump said.

"Despite what the press writes, I have a great relationship with actually, many senators,

but in particular with most Republican senators."

Easy enough.

He continues, "But we're not getting the job done and I'm not going to blame myself, I'll

be honest, they are not getting the job done."

There you have it folks, all of the failures that we have seen from the Trump administration,

it's not from Trump, it's from literally everyone else.

It's never Donald Trump's fault.

Can you imagine how amazing it must be to go through life and just see everything around

you, everything you touch just completely fall apart and go to complete crap and it

never actually being your fault, that the whole planet, the whole cosmos has conspired

against you to make everything so awful through no fault whatsoever of your own?

No?

Yeah, I can't imagine that either because that's not how reality works.

If Donald Trump had even an ounce of leadership ability inside of him, he would acknowledge

that yeah, you know what?

As a member of the Republican Party who also happens to be president of the United States,

everything flows from the top.

And when there's disfunction at the top, there's disfunction all the way down and that's what

we're seeing in Washington DC right now.

Look, I do not want any of these Republican policies they have been talking about and

writing into legislation and voting on to get passed whatsoever.

I am 100% against every single thing they have attempted to do this year.

But, those legislative failures cannot just be hung on the backs of the Republicans in

the House and the Senate.

Donald Trump, as president of the United States, a member of the Republican Party, he bears

the ultimate blame.

The same thing happened with Barack Obama.

When the Democrats were in charge for those few brief years when they actually controlled

the legislative and the executive branches, if something didn't go right, the press didn't

say, "Well, Obama did what he could, but those darn Democrats just keep screwing up."

No.

Everything was put on his shoulders.

Why?

Because he was the leader.

And that is exactly what happens right now with Donald Trump.

And you know what?

Obama bore that cross with dignity and grace and a sense of leadership.

We don't get this from Donald Trump.

He's the kind of guy who is willing to, as we've seen time after time, throw every other

member of the Republican Party under the bus just to keep his image clean.

I don't think he's fooling anybody in this country when he says, "No, none of this is

my fault.

It's all these darn Republicans who believe in the exact same things I do."

I think we're all smart enough to kind of see past this and I think most of the public

understands that when the Republican Party is in power, all across government and all

across state governments, it's all coming from the top.

When things don't get done, when they continue to fail time after time after time, it's not

just the little Republican senators and congresspeople, it comes from the president as well.

And if Donald Trump was a true leader, he would be the first one to jump out there and

take responsibility, say, "You know what?

We're not getting it done.

I've let people down.

We're going to get better and we're going to work together to get this done."

But of course, Donald Trump doesn't know what it's like to be a leader because he's never

had to be a leader, and that is why this Republican Party, especially under the leadership of

Donald Trump, is going to continue to fail at everything they do, because nobody in that

party wants to take responsibility for coming up with these horrible legislative ideas that

they continue to push out day after day.

Trump Has Turned White House Into "Adult Daycare Center" Aides Say - Duration: 3:59.

About a week ago, Republican Senator Bob Corker seemed to get on Donald Trump's bad side by

saying that the White House had essentially become a daycare for Donald Trump himself.

Well, as it turns out Trump's anger towards Corker about this comment was really misplaced,

because interviews have now surfaced with 18 White House staffers, Trump confidants,

and friends that have confirmed that yes, the White House has essentially become an

adult daycare center under Donald Trump.

Now, the aides say that they're having to basically placate Donald Trump just to keep

him calm and happy and prevent him from making some horrible decisions like sending missiles

over to North Korea.

Specifically, these aides according to these interviews have said that they put together

positive news packets for the president filled with praise from top administration officials.

They give these to Donald Trump.

He feels a little bit better about himself.

Sometimes, if they do not have a packet together they'll put on the TV, usually Fox News, so

that the president can watch some positive news coverage of his administration.

They've also said that they've been able to delay certain decisions coming from Donald

Trump until he quotes "calms down."

Here's the thing.

Look.

I have small kids.

I understand what it's like.

I understand exactly what these people are talking about having to do to Donald Trump

because it really is what you have to do with children sometimes.

Sometimes you'll just pop on Disney Junior, let them watch Mickey Mouse for a little bit

so that you can actually get some work done without them asking you a question every five

minutes.

But those are kids.

Those are children, three, four years old.

Donald Trump is a man in his 70s who is president of the United States.

He is acting as if he is a toddler, as if he is a whiny, cranky child that didn't get

a nap today or who's upset because he can't have an after lunch snack.

This is unacceptable behavior from the sitting president of the United States.

The media needs to be paying more attention to these kinds of stories because we cannot

allow this kind of behavior to become normalized in the United States.

We demand the utmost almost perfection from our leaders, especially our president.

Here we have a man who's sitting in the highest office in the land acting like he's again

a toddler.

We would not accept this kind of behavior from children.

Why would we accept it from the president of the United States?

This doesn't make any sense.

We have to demand better.

As a country, we have to get better.

We have to elect better elected officials in this country.

Let's hope that Donald Trump is the worst that it ever gets in this country, because

I don't think this country would be able to survive if we ever, one, had to go through

another four years of Donald Trump, or even worse, elected somebody after him who's not

even as mature as Trump is.
