I have the error message that "Can't convert xx photos to high quality" and that they'll stay in original copy in my Drive.  This is fine with me.  The problem is, I click "done," but every time it tries to sync, the error comes back.  I really don't care if they don't sync, but I can't delete them because some I can't find on my computer.  They're pretty obscure image files from the Photos Library.  (I'm working on a Mac running macOS Mojave, using the installed Google Sync program).  I just want to get rid of the error for good!  I searched the forums but couldn't find how to just get rid of the error.  Please help!

Not sure I can help too much, but when I receive that error it only shows once, whether there is any difference between the Mac version and the Windows version I'm not sure. Also I am running version 3.46 which is a recent upgrade. 

 

I have only one example and I see it in the dialogue box as synced and after clicking on it I am taken to the disk location where I can delete or move it out of the chosen library.

 

If you go to https://drive.google.com/drive/quota you can locate the photos by their storage size and either just delete them or if you want to save a copy right click Add to Drive. Then using the info panel to the right click on details and then the x to the right of the Computers folder which will delete the copy on your computer.

 

Maybe too much work? but I can't offer any other solutions,

When I click it, it doesn't take me to the spot in my library where the file is stored.  It starts to list the file directory so that I can see it in a list but it's too long so some of it is blocked.  Some files have the same ending (IMG_0367, etc.) but are actually different images so I don't know what to delete on those.  Others can't be found at all when I search the directory path it tells me.  I'm not sure what else to do at this point.  And I really don't mind that the files won't upload.  I just want that error gone. Thank you for your response!

Yes.  In the iOS Google Photos app, tap "Search" the key in an Album name or fragment of the name.  Do not hit enter.  The Album name (or possibly names if a fragment was entered) should pop up as a ~suggested entry~, just tap the one that you want.  See example:

How can I access my 'Locked Photos' via the web? 

All of the photos in the Locked Photos used to be backed up online at some point in time, and were also shared between me and some other people. However now I am unable to see them online and even the people this was shared with earlier cannot view them.

The easiest way seems to create an album with photos of your horse 

1. Select photos of your horse
2. Tap +
3. Tap on "Album" to create a new album

Later you can:

1. Select new photos of your horse. 
   It's not critical when you select already added photos: they will not be added again. 
2. Tap +
3. Tap the album you already created 

As an alternative you can add the name of the horse in the description and search with that name, but that has to be repeated for each photo. Not recommended when there are many photos.
