First, ensure you have the latest updated version of the Google Photos app.

 

Next, to unhide a person, follow these steps.

• Tap the search icon at the bottom. 
• Tap view all to see the thumbnails of all the persons in people & pets.
• Tap the three dots at the top right corner 
• Tap on the menu "Hide & show". Please note this menu works like a toggle. If you tap once, the hidden faces become visible. If you tap a second time, then the person will hide again.
• Now you will see all the hidden persons with a symbol of eye & a slash across that. 
• Tap on the eye once. Please note, the eye icon also acts as a toggle. Tap once, the person will be unhidden. Tap a second tome & then the eye will reappear, hiding the person once again.
• Once the eye symbol is gone, the person's thumbnail will become visible again.

Alternatively, you can try to do so through another route.

Please enter the link https://photos.google.com/people in the web browsers available on your phone. Next, log into your account & see whether the show & hide option becomes visible through the browser.

Welcome to Google Photos Community Support Forum & thanks for your post.

 

You can't undo your action now.

You will have to separate the faces yourself one by one.

I suggest you follow these steps to remove the person from the current grouping & add that to new one.

• Tap to open the photo.
• Tap the three dots at the top right corner.
• Next, you will see a thumbnail of all the identified persons and a pencil icon. Tap that icon.
• Once done, all the identified faces will display a minus sign at the top left corner of the thumbnail. Tap that.
• The thumbnail will now move down to the row of faces below with the tag "Available to add". The minus sign will also change to plus.
• Tap that plus. Now, the app will show the entire gallery of the persons identified to date. Tap on the right one & now the photo will get added to the correct grouping.

I can help best i can from my cheating exes ive learned to  find all the hidden emails of that disloyal part of life but you will have to tell me things you probly hide for your own reasons  oh it it dont matter if you post you emails here or not they can be found with ease just takes time

You can download the pics through Google Photos if you have backed up everything.

 

Nevertheless, I find it easier to do so on a desktop PC.

The storage will appear in the file explorer & then you can copy the content from one phone to another.

In this community can't help you recover your data, You need to check this image in Trash Folder, If you are lucky, it's still there.

I'm not sure because Trash Folder just keep your file next 30 days. Over this time, Trash Folder will auto delete, so you can't recover it forever.
