Does it make any difference when you restart the phone and then start the Google app as the first one?

Just because there maybe some interfereing third party app which you often use also the whole day.

You may install the small Google Files app and then run a clean before staring to delete some fat movies in order to make at least 10 GB free space on your phone. But before doing that, you must be sure that these old files are backupped - just log-in to photos.google.com in the Chromebrowser.

The free-up space option may clean-up the rest after the app is updated.

To find something more about the object, please follow these steps.

Take a picture of the unknown object.
Open the pic through google photos.
Tap the lens icon at the bottom.
That will launch a web search & show all the relevant results.
If you wish to improve the accuracy of the results further, then adjust the four corners of the focus area.
That will refine the results further.

Once done, you can browse the suggested articles to know further about the unusual object.

You permanently deleted it from your trash.

You permanently deleted it from your device's Gallery app without backing it up first.

If the images were still on your phone's local storage, you can decide if data recovery software would be useful. Typically you download the software to a computer, attach your phone via USB, and run the software to attempt to recovery deleted data from the phone's local storage (not from Google's servers.) There is currently not a way to turn off back up & sync for videos. Back up & sync is set for all data.

You can use the feedback menu option under the profile photo in Google Photos to make a feature request so the team can track user interest.

PS - as a workaround, you could turn off back up & sync. Move the videos to another folder. And make sure the back up & sync is not turned on for that folder. Then turn on back up & sync to back up photos. You will then have to turn off back up & sync when you record another video first. Move the video. Turn back up & sync on. This would be a bit of a hassle, but it would solve your problem.

To move currently locally stored videos on your phone to a folder

Open Photos
Select Library
Select Camera folder (or default location for saving videos.)
Select video by long pressing on video to get a blue check mark
Select the : more menu in the upper right
Select Move to folder
Select or add a new folder
Once the item has moved to the new folder, make sure that Back up & sync is not turned on for that folder (dot will be grey and to the left when back up & sync is off.)

To delete the Google Photos service from your account entirely, visit your Google Account Dashboard from a computer.

From your My Account page, you have the option to disable/delete any specific Google Services. Simply choose the Data & Personalization category from the sidebar on the left, then scroll down to the section marked "Download, Delete, or Make a Plan for Your Data."

Follow the prompts to delete a service.

Keep in mind, however, that the Google Photos app may still be able to display the pictures on your device (like any other gallery app). You can try to uninstall the app from your Android device, but this is not always possible. In that case, you can disable the app from the device settings and render it essentially useless.

If you upload the pictures and videos to Google Photos, you can create a new album specifically for your insurance company and add the relevant pics and vids to it. Then just share that album with the company by following the steps to create a link.

According to the official Google Photos Help page about sharing, it says the following:

Tap Share .
Under “Share to apps,” select another app to share to. Swipe left to find more apps.

Find location of where photo was taken

If the camera that took the picture was GPS-enabled, the exact location of where the picture was taken should be embedded into the image file's metadata (unless the photographer disabled this option).

If those location details are present in a picture you've uploaded to Google Photos, you can see the GPS coordinates and a small map by swiping up while looking at the picture on your Android device.

Sometimes Google Photos will attempt to estimate the location based on clearly identifiable landmarks visible in the picture and/or your location history (if there are other pictures taken around the same time that do contain GPS info, also taken with the same camera, and usually uploaded together). Keep in mind that in these scenarios the location is only an estimation and will be clearly marked as such when you view the map in the Info panel.

If the picture contains no GPS metadata, and Google is unable to generate an estimation, there is nothing that anybody can do to determine the location. It is possible that other software or apps like Google Lens may be able to provide their own estimations, but those will just be other guesses based on visual cues in the image. For pictures without detailed unique backgrounds or known topography, it's unlikely you'll ever be able to determine the location of a picture.

Regretfully, users can't control the collections under the heading "Places". The program adds the places based on geolocation data & the algorithm decides the cover photo.

Nevertheless, I experimented once with that. I deleted the picture which happened to the cover photo.

After twenty-four hours, the app started displaying some other pic through the collection as cover photos.

Now, there is nothing in the album, you do not have any choice.

There are a couple of things I don't understand.

Google Photos does not have an auto download feature from Backup.
The screenshot you shared is not a Google Photos view and the Time: looks like the date of download.

This makes it impossible to explain what is happening, there may be an explanation connected to changing the upload size, but the date at photos.google.com should not have changed. Perhaps you could check that to see if it is displayed in the library in April 2019

When you attempt to manually empty the trash bin in Google Photos, a warning message box appears that explains you are about to permanently delete those pictures and videos. If you choose to proceed anyway, there is nothing that any of the volunteers in this forum can do to help you recover your pictures.

If you deleted pictures or videos that were not previously backed up to your account through the Google Photos app, then unfortunately there's nothing that Google or any of the volunteers in this Help Community can do to recover them.

Files that existed only on your phone, ones that were never uploaded to the cloud, cannot be recovered or restored by a cloud storage service. Simply put, Google can't help you recover files it never had in the first place.

I've used the feature many times in the past, and I just now checked by doing it again. I experienced no problems at all.

From the Google Photos website, I clicked the Upload icon at the top of the page (to the right of the search box) and chose Google Drive. In the box that appeared, I randomly selected an image from My Drive and clicked the Upload button in the bottom right corner.

My suggestion is that you begin troubleshooting by trying this from a different browser. I'm using the latest version of Google Chrome.
