Trump Just Made Huge Labor Day Announcement That Benefits Millions Of Americans

President Trump took to Twitter today to wish all Americans a "Happy Labor Day," as

he touted the record-low unemployment numbers since he has become President and his efforts

to fix "some of the worst trade deals ever made."

"Happy Labor Day!

Our country is doing better than ever before with unemployment setting record lows.

The U.S. has tremendous upside potential as we go about fixing some of the worst Trade

Deals ever made by any country in the world.

Big progress being made!" Trump tweeted.

This tweet came two days after the President heralded unions and forwarded his administration's

pro-American trade agenda in an annual Labor Day proclamation.

Trump touted the spirit of the American worker and referred to American workers as the "bulwark

of our national prosperity" in the statement released by the White House late Friday.

"America's workers pay our taxes, support our values, serve in our military, raise our

children, protect our Constitution, and build our communities.

They deserve, in return, the unwavering fidelity of their Government," Trump wrote in the

proclamation.

"The deal I intend to sign [with Mexico and possibly Canada] will help create more

reciprocal trade that grows our economy.

It will also support high-paying jobs for American workers and protect the intellectual

property of our Nation's businesses and workers, We have kept our promise to always

keep the White House door open to members and leaders of our country's labor organizations."

he added.

All this comes after the president notified Congress that he intended to set up a new

trade agreement with the governments of Mexico and maybe even Canada if possible.

This is a move which has garnered the President vocal praise from labor unions and even pro-union

Democrats such as Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown in what is coined as being a rare show of

bipartisanship during a time when Democrats are so busy trying to fight Trump that they

can't see that what he's doing is great for the working people of America.

"I intend to enter into a trade agreement with Mexico and with Canada if it is willing,

in a timely manner, to meet the high standards for free, fair, and reciprocal trade contained

therein," Trump said in the notice to the House earlier Friday.

Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland did confirm on Friday that her country is

in fact, making progress on a deal with the U.S.

But she made very clear that they aren't there yet and added that "Once we have a

good deal for Canada we'll be done."

It's really sad to see how the left is so busy trying to take down Trump that they fail

to admit to themselves that he is, in fact, doing what the Democrat Party was always "supposed"

to do.

To put the American middle-class worker and the middle class as a whole first and foremost.

Or maybe the truth of the matter is the Democrat Party has never really cared about the middle

class but instead cares more about the Illegal Aliens coming into our country than the people

who pay their salaries?

Naw, that can't be.

is easy to see why unions are doing so

hard to see how that would work without

does seem to agree with the president

that NAFTA can be improved upon

stay out of those talks so he's got a

warning where he says there is no

political necessity to keep Canada in

the new NAFTA deal if we don't make a

fair deal for the US after decades of

interfere with these negotiations or I

will simply terminate NAFTA entirely and

we will be far better off the president

has already struck a new trade deal with

Mexico as for the Canadians they aren't

really tipping their hand as to whether

or not comments like that are bringing

the US and Canada closer or pushing them

further apart I am NOT going to

negotiate in public what I will say

though is the negotiations with Canada

are not complete and we continue to

negotiate with the United States so that

that's why we're coming back next

Wednesday and we're gonna continue

talking until we reach a big job today

the president emerged from the White

House residence in golf clothes he

walked towards the motorcade and then

before he got in just turned around and

he never left we asked the White House

about it they said that it was so that

the president could concentrate on calls

relating to trade and other

Trump Just Destroyed John Kerry's Chance To Run For President With One Bold Statement

The Democratic field for the upcoming presidency in 2020 is going to probably be a very large

one.

One that has a lot of contenders and very few of them will be truly qualified to take

the position.

Some of their choices may even be downright humorous.

One of those, in my opinion, would be former Secretary of State John Kerry.

He was the purveyor of the disastrous Iran nuclear deal that President Trump has since

pulled us out of.

If he can't handle geopolitics, he should not be president in my estimation and that's

putting it mildly.

President Trump on Monday tweeted that he would be "so lucky" if former Secretary

of State John Kerry launched a White House bid to challenge Trump in 2020.

Trump stated, "I see that John Kerry, the father of the now terminated Iran deal, is

thinking of running for President.

I should only be so lucky – although the field that is currently assembling looks really

good – FOR ME!"

That tweet all by itself was a knockout blow to Kerry and Trump's just getting warmed

up.

If Kerry plans on running against Trump, he's going to have to do much better than this.Kerry,

who was the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, did not rule out a potential 2020 White House

bid during an interview on Sunday.

He said on CBS' "Face the Nation" that talking about the 2020 race is a "distraction."

Right.

I would say there is a very good chance he's already started putting a team together.

"Talking about 2020 right now is a total distraction and waste of time," Kerry said.

"What we need to do is focus on 2018.

We need to win back the confidence of the country to move in a better direction and

to do it in sensible ways.

We are in a moment of crisis for our country.

The world is in a moment of crisis."

In that same interview, Kerry also said President Trump's decision-making is often not based

on fact or advice and accused the president of making things up.

Sounds like Kerry is just itching to get stomped in the next election.

This was in response to Trump saying that the Iran nuclear agreement, which Kerry helped

negotiate, was the "worst ever."

"Unfortunately — and I say this sadly — more often than not, he really just doesn't

know what he's talking about," Kerry snidely commented.

"He makes things up.

And he's making that up, as he has other things."

Kerry also made it very clear in that same interview that he intended to "continue

to be an activist" in areas where he had been involved as secretary of state, including

the Iran nuclear agreement and the Paris climate accord.

In other words, he's going to be sticking his nose where it does not belong and he will

be obstructing President Trump at every turn.

Trump has pulled us out of both of those Obama-era agreements since he took office.

"I'm going to continue to fight," Kerry said Sunday.

So will Trump and he's better at it.

President Trump is right.

If Kerry becomes the nominee, Trump will most likely win in a landslide for a whole host

of reasons.

In fact, most of the Democratic field would help Trump win again.

Somehow, I don't think President Trump is very worried about it considering the playing

field at hand.

Kerry, a former U.S. senator from Massachusetts failed to derail former President George W.

Bush's second White House bid, falling 19 electoral votes short.

Can you imagine what would happen to him running against Trump?

Happily, I can.

Democrats are expected to face a crowded primary field in their race to challenge Trump.

More than a dozen current and former senators, governors and mayors are already said to be

eyeing 2020 campaigns.

It's going to be a circus so get your popcorn ready.

'  Kerry said he believes that Trump was right to bomb Syria following Assad's continued use of weapons - but disagrees with his one-time strike last April

'I don't support just a one-off where you drop a few bombs and there's no follow-up diplomacy and no additional effort to try to use the leverage you get out of doing that,' he argued

'I thought that the president should have done that, President Trump should have done that

'He went on to criticize Trump for his approach to Tehran in the interview, claiming it was 'common sense' for the nuclear agreement that Trump pulled out of to continue

 Of his own efforts to save the deal, which included huddling overseas with world leaders whose countries were also party to the pact, Kerry said he violated no rules with the behind the scenes efforts and rebuffed claims that he attempted to undermine Trump

They believed they were witnessing a coup.

The Presidents backers also hoped he would fight back.

They got their wish.

Donald Trump Strikes Back At The Deep State Trump is hitting the Deep State right where

it hurts – in the wallet.

The President wrote a letter announcing he was suspending two pay raises for federal

workers in 2019.

"We must maintain efforts to put our Nation on a fiscally sustainable course, and Federal

agency budgets cannot sustain such increases," he wrote.

Trump stated, "I have determined that for 2019, both across the board pay increases

and locality pay increases will be set at zero."

Deep State agents and their supporters in Congress raged at Trump's decision.

Democrat Senator Ben Cardin wrote, "Zero.

This seems to be how much respect President Trump has for federal workers."

But it's the other way around.

Rogue Deep State agents have no respect for Donald Trump.

Virginia Democrat Mark Warner declared, "It's just the latest attack in the Trump administration's

war on federal employees."

Meanwhile, America is 21 trillion dollars in debt.

The government cannot afford to hand out lavish pay raises for the Deep State.

Voters elected Donald Trump to change the way Washington handled business.

Trump is achieving two goals with this move.

He is working to put America's fiscal house back in order.

And he is firing a shot across the Deep State's bow.

Both goals please Trump supporters.

Trump's willingness to fight back is why they stood by him during the campaign.

Some people are very upset over

for the Supreme Court.

He is a dangerous man!

What's at stake is freedom for LGBTQ Americans,

People are freaking out.

They are freaking out because

they don't understand those top areas,

whether it's abortion or gay rights,

or Citizens United that people on the left

Chief Justice Roberts

respects precedent,

especially when people have come to

depend on previous decisions.

After a quarter-million gay marriages

and 45 years of legal abortions,

the court's unlikely to reverse itself on those issues.

I will nominate

Judge Brett Kavanaugh.

But if Kavanaugh replaces Kennedy,

there will be changes.

Individual freedom.

What does Kavanaugh mean for that?

He's great there, probably better than Kennedy.

Retiring Justice Kennedy

sometimes ruled against individual liberty,

like when he said it was okay

for a Connecticut town to grab Suzette

Kelo's property and little pink house

because the developer who might pay more in taxes

wanted her land.

Kennedy voted for the bad guys.

He voted to take away the property from the people.

Kavanaugh could very well be the fifth

vote to overturn Kelo.

Trump's nominee has got to go! Hey hey!

One major area that people might be upset about is

affirmative action.

We won't stand for Donald Trump's attempt

to use the Supreme Court as a weapon

against all of our progress.

Kavanaugh could provide the

fifth vote to overturn that 40 year-old

experiment with using racial preferences

to promote some kind of nebulous

diversity.

Lawsuit against Harvard University

for discriminating against

Asian-American applicants.

That case against Harvard's racial preferences may

reach the Supreme Court soon and the

court may end affirmative action.

The court with Kavanaugh on board may also

toss out some gun restrictions.

He has written one of the leading lower

court opinion expanding the scope of the

individual right for armed self-defense.

He's not a gun nut.

He's a constitutionalist.

Kavanaugh has a history of

reining in government regulators.

All these alphabet agencies

that increasingly intrude in people's lives,

he has written at length that the

government keeps doing things that it

doesn't have the power to do.

The Constitution's separation of powers

protects individual liberty.

At his nomination announcement at the White House,

he talked about how the separation

of powers is there to protect liberty.

That's fantastic. I think Libertarians

will like the push-back on government excess.

But Kavanaugh does side with

government on one form of excess.

The government was collecting all of our

metadata, all of our phone records.

Kavanaugh ruled that he was just fine with it.

He said that the NSA is justified

in collecting metadata on

Americans as part of the--

He volunteered to write that.

He was enthusiastic that

this serves a critically important

special need - preventing terrorist attacks.

But the government says we're

aware of no instance where the

program discovered an attack.

That's his worst case.

Now it's unclear how that

extends beyond the national security

surveillance area.

He has a lot of good opinions

on police needing a warrant or

laws being drawn so broadly

that prosecutors are convicting people who

are not guilty.

Clearly he defers to the

government on national security grounds,

but most judges and justices do anyway.

At least on other forms of regulation,

Kavanaugh has a strong record

of not deferring to government.

We have a moral obligation to act on climate.

As a judge in DC, Kavanaugh voted to

strike down some environmental rules.

Some EPA regulations where the staff

just said, we're gonna do this?

That's right.

I mean, I like the idea of clean

air and clean water.

There are federal laws that protect that,

but in the last decade, the EPA has taken a

lot of liberties.

But it's their job.

Clean the air, clean the water.

EPA does not get a free-floating power under the

Constitution or otherwise to do what

they think is best.

It's Congress' job to say, you know our

air isn't clean enough.

Here's how you should be doing your job, EPA.

Why is it better for Congress to do it?

Congress is elected,

and if we don't like what it's doing,

we can fire it.

That's the way the checks and balances work

And that's why it's so important that courts

hold the bureaucrats feet to the fire.

Hey hey, ho ho,

Kavanaugh has got to go!

The Libertarians should definitely be happy

with Kavanaugh.

He's not going to agree with us

all the time certainly,

but no justices or judges do.

The fact that we're looking around the edges to see

what sorts of things we can disagree on

shows how far we've moved in 10 or 20 or

30 years.

Right.

At least now people and

judges talk about limiting government

and how regulation's out of control.

That's new

compared to the last 10, 20, or 30 years.

Our first question tonight comes from Planet Hospice, who asks, "Is number 45 the most

publicly detested, domestically and/or internationally, POTUS in the past 100 years?

And similarly, has he received more public abuse, vilification and mockery than each

of the others in that period?"

This is a really interesting question.

I mean, yes, obviously we can look at the polls, we can compare Donald Trump's approval

rating in the history of presidential polling, overall, not just among Republicans, is lower

than the rest of them.

Yes.

So technically, by definition, according to the polls, he is the most publicly detested.

Internationally, most countries do not like him.

They view the United States as making the world more dangerous, Trump is making the

world more dangerous.

So I would say, probably internationally.

That one's a little more difficult to tell, 'cause the polls are not as clear.

Plus, we have to remember that pretty much globally, George W. Bush was really, really

hated.

So yeah, statistically, least popular guy to be president at this point.

He hasn't done anything decent for the American public.

He hasn't kept any of his campaign promises, including the horrid ones, like "Build the

wall."

Republicans are actually getting a little testy about that not happening, while the

rest of us are cheering.

But he said hew as gonna reduce pharmaceutical drug prices, he hasn't done that.

He hasn't made healthcare better.

We didn't get tax cuts, the wealthy elite did.

He said he was gonna drain the swamp, he ended up packing it worse than it's ever been packed

before.

So yeah, people are sick of the man.

And all of that actually has nothing to even do with the investigations.

You know, you start pulling that stuff in, and yeah, this guy's in deep trouble.

On the other part, public abuse, vilification and mockery.

No.

He's not actually.

He has gotten a lot.

He's gotten more than most, to be honest.

But let's focus on the one thing first, the mockery.

I know Saturday Night Live has their Alec Baldwin, they've got the president show now.

But hey, when George W. Bush came into office, Comedy Central ran a cartoon called Low Bush*.

So they were making fun of him and his entire cabinet.

Saturday Night Live's portrayal of George W. Bush was possibly one of the funniest things

that that show has ever done!

It was fantastic.

They portrayed him as a bumbling idiot, which he actually was.

There were calendars of "Bushisms" which each day you'd flip it over, just a new stupid

thing Bush had said.

There were entire books filled with those things.

Nobody's done that with Trump tweets, at least not that I've seen.

Somebody should, by the way, jump on that.

That's a million-dollar idea for you.

But yeah, George W. Bush was subjected to a hell of a lot of mockery.

The difference is, as horrible as he was as a president, as a human being, as a foreign

policy guy, and domestic policy, and a religious hypocrite, George W. Bush didn't let it get

to him.

Barack Obama was accused by Fox News of being an elitist, for eating arugula in his salad.

His wife was accused of being a man.

They still, literally, Fox News viewers, call Michelle Obama "he," refer to her as a man.

And they did this all throughout the presidency.

They attacked Obama for wearing a tan suit.

They claimed that he was creating death panels that your grandparents were gonna have to

go in front of to determine whether or not they live or die.

They said he was creating these FEMA concentration camps for conservatives.

They lied about the IRS targeting conservative scams.

It turns out they were goin after conservative and liberal groups evenly.

So no, Trump didn't get it worse than anybody.

In fact, he's gotten off light.

Because too many media outlets are refusing to say that he lies when he lies.

They say, "Oh, he misspoke.

It was a misstatement.

It was an untruth."

The phrase "untruth" has been in headlines.

"Untruth."

He lied! Trump has gotten off easy, if you ask me, especially compared to what the two

guys before him dealt with.

The only difference is, regardless of your personal opinion of them or what they did

to this country or the world, those two men had thick skin.

And they were able to take the abuse, laugh it off many times, and not let it bother them

the way it bothers Trump.

That's why those scandals and issues and horrid things people said about him kind of died

off after time.

These guys weren't baiting him, they weren't getting into it, trying to start this public

sparring match.

Trump can't do that.

He is a very weak individual, just like his supporters.

Sorry, you're very weak.

And that's why he engages, and that's why they keep doing it.

It creates this back-and-forth.

He loves it, they love it, but at the end, he wants to be the winner because he cannot

stand being the loser, and he cannot stand them saying horrible things about him.

So no.

Trump is not the most mocked.

Trump is not the most vilified, but he damn sure is the most unpopular.

Puerto Rico Death Toll At Nearly 3,000, Trump Says He Did A "Great Job" - Duration: 5:56.

Earlier this week, a new report came out that adjusted the official death toll from Hurricane

Maria in Puerto Rico.

The official death toll has now jumped from 16 to 2,975.

Meaning, almost as many American citizens died in Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico as

died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

That is an increase, an increase of 4,500% over initial official estimates.

2,975 people dead.

We need to remember something here when we talk about these stories.

Puerto Rico is a United States territory.

The people who are residents of Puerto Rico are legal US citizens, and therefore, they

are under the protection of the United States federal government which includes emergency

management operations like FEMA and the National Guard.

Both of those institutions including the Federal government itself, failed in the response

to Hurricane Maria.

FEMA itself admitted in their own internal report, that they were grossly understaffed

and unprepared for the entire 2017 hurricane season, the one that spawned Maria and Irma

and Harvey.

They weren't ready for it.

Not only were they, according to their own estimates about 5,000 staffers short, they

also didn't have proper evacuation plans for Puerto Rico.

They relied on decades old studies that were no longer relevant whatsoever.

Then we also have the bigger problem that's been missed in almost every single story talking

about Puerto Rico, even though there haven't been that many stories talking about Puerto

Rico, and that is the role the United States banks played in helping to bankrupt the island.

United States banks came into Puerto Rico many years ago and started selling government

bonds.

Bonds for the island of Puerto Rico.

So people could invest in their own island, get a small but guaranteed return, but as

it turned out, those banks ripped off the consumers.

There is massive litigation ongoing right now.

Mike Papantonio, actually his law firm are handling many of these cases down there in

Puerto Rico, from investors who got ripped off from these major banks, but it has starved

Puerto Rico of money, and that is one of the reasons why the infrastructure was so horrible.

The island had no money to fix things before the storm, and that's what caused even more

widespread damage on the island.

We have the National Guard and FEMA, both of whom as I mentioned before, were pathetic

in their responses, unfortunately, but all that leadership comes from the top.

These 2,975 at least deaths rest on the feet of Donald J. Trump, the President of the United

States.

Here's the kicker.

Remember the massive outrage from George W. Bush's responses to Hurricane Katrina?

How awful he was?

You're doing a heck of job, Brownie.

Everybody across this country was absolutely appalled at how he handled that.

His approval rating tanked and it never recovered for the rest of his administration.

Where's that national outcry for Puerto Rico?

Are there too many people in the United States today that don't understand that Puerto Rico

is a United States territory?

That those people are US citizens, or more importantly that they're human beings in general

who we should be helping?

That's the problem.

That's one of the biggest things that makes me angry about this, is the fact that nobody

is talking about it.

There is no outrage, and that US citizen or not, these are human beings who are suffering

and we have the means to help them, but we are choosing not to.

We are choosing to not help out our fellow citizens down there in Puerto Rico.

That's what's happening.

The government has money, okay.

Don't let them tell you it's going broke.

Yeah, we've got a massive deficit.

We have to borrow money, but the money's there.

We could be helping these people.

We could have rebuilt this entire island by now.

You know, limited only by the number of contractors that we could have found.

We made this choice.

We made the choice to let them die.

We made the choice to just leave them there, in anguish.

As a country, that is not only unforgivable, but unacceptable, and somebody, the person

at the very top, needs to be held accountable for this.

I know Democrats don't want to talk about impeachment.

They don't want to run on Trump in the midterms and I agree with them for the most part on

all that, but this right here, Puerto Rico, the response to that, nearly 3,000 people

dead at least.

Some studies actually show maybe up to 5,000 dead.

This is something that they should run on.

They should run on the fact that Republican government starves the government itself of

funds, via tax dollars, so that we don't have a response.

They cut the budgets for groups like FEMA, so that they cannot properly respond to these

national disasters.

That should be a campaign talking point, but unfortunately, I don't see anyone out there

talking about it today, even after we got this insane report showing that the death

toll was over 4,000 times higher than what the government initially estimated.
