Trump Just Made Huge Labor Day Announcement That Benefits Millions Of Americans

President Trump took to Twitter today to wish all Americans a "Happy Labor Day," as

he touted the record-low unemployment numbers since he has become President and his efforts

to fix "some of the worst trade deals ever made."

"Happy Labor Day!

Our country is doing better than ever before with unemployment setting record lows.

The U.S. has tremendous upside potential as we go about fixing some of the worst Trade

Deals ever made by any country in the world.

Big progress being made!" Trump tweeted.

This tweet came two days after the President heralded unions and forwarded his administration's

pro-American trade agenda in an annual Labor Day proclamation.

Trump touted the spirit of the American worker and referred to American workers as the "bulwark

of our national prosperity" in the statement released by the White House late Friday.

"America's workers pay our taxes, support our values, serve in our military, raise our

children, protect our Constitution, and build our communities.

They deserve, in return, the unwavering fidelity of their Government," Trump wrote in the

proclamation.

"The deal I intend to sign [with Mexico and possibly Canada] will help create more

reciprocal trade that grows our economy.

It will also support high-paying jobs for American workers and protect the intellectual

property of our Nation's businesses and workers, We have kept our promise to always

keep the White House door open to members and leaders of our country's labor organizations."

he added.

All this comes after the president notified Congress that he intended to set up a new

trade agreement with the governments of Mexico and maybe even Canada if possible.

This is a move which has garnered the President vocal praise from labor unions and even pro-union

Democrats such as Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown in what is coined as being a rare show of

bipartisanship during a time when Democrats are so busy trying to fight Trump that they

can't see that what he's doing is great for the working people of America.

"I intend to enter into a trade agreement with Mexico and with Canada if it is willing,

in a timely manner, to meet the high standards for free, fair, and reciprocal trade contained

therein," Trump said in the notice to the House earlier Friday.

Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland did confirm on Friday that her country is

in fact, making progress on a deal with the U.S.

But she made very clear that they aren't there yet and added that "Once we have a

good deal for Canada we'll be done."

It's really sad to see how the left is so busy trying to take down Trump that they fail

to admit to themselves that he is, in fact, doing what the Democrat Party was always "supposed"

to do.

To put the American middle-class worker and the middle class as a whole first and foremost.

Or maybe the truth of the matter is the Democrat Party has never really cared about the middle

class but instead cares more about the Illegal Aliens coming into our country than the people

who pay their salaries?

Naw, that can't be.

Can it?

Trump tweets new attacks on Sessions - Duration: 4:11.

President Trump at the White House this

Labor Day minutes ago launching new

attacks on his own Attorney General Jeff

Sessions this time implying that

sessions is to blame for a couple of

Republican lawmakers running into legal

trouble Peter Doocy with the news live

at the White House hi Peter Leland the

president is lashing out at the Attorney

General Jeff Sessions because of recent

cases brought against two members of

Congress

Chris Collins from New York and Duncan

Hunter of California so the president

writes this about the potential

political impact he says too

long-running Obama era investigations of

two very popular Republican congressman

were brought to a well-publicized charge

just ahead of the midterms by the Jeff

Sessions Justice Department two easy

wins now in doubt because there's not

enough time good job Jeff the President

had said recently that sessions is going

to stay at the DOJ though until after

the midterms something else on the

president's mind he is pushing back at

the head of the afl-cio Richard Trumka

after Trump has said this weekend that

the president's plan to cut Canada out

of NAFTA would hurt workers so the

president also tweeted today Richard

Trumka the head of the afl-cio

represented his union poorly on

television this weekend some of the

things he said were so against the

working men and women of our country and

the success of the u.s. itself that it

is easy to see why unions are doing so

poorly ad M it appears the president

caught a clip of this Trumpkin interview

our economies are integrated in three

countries in North America the economy

is pretty integrated and it's pretty

hard to see how that would work without

having Canada in the deal but trumka

does seem to agree with the president

that NAFTA can be improved upon

leyland all right so what is the latest

on the trade talks with Canada Peter

president Trump wants the US Congress to

stay out of those talks so he's got a

warning where he says there is no

political necessity to keep Canada in

the new NAFTA deal if we don't make a

fair deal for the US after decades of

abuse Canada will be out Congress should

not

interfere with these negotiations or I

will simply terminate NAFTA entirely and

we will be far better off the president

has already struck a new trade deal with

Mexico as for the Canadians they aren't

really tipping their hand as to whether

or not comments like that are bringing

the US and Canada closer or pushing them

further apart I am NOT going to

negotiate in public what I will say

though is the negotiations with Canada

are not complete and we continue to

negotiate with the United States so that

that's why we're coming back next

Wednesday and we're gonna continue

talking until we reach a big job today

the president emerged from the White

House residence in golf clothes he

walked towards the motorcade and then

before he got in just turned around and

he never left we asked the White House

about it they said that it was so that

the president could concentrate on calls

relating to trade and other

international issues leyland certainly

you got a look at all of this in terms

of how the midterms are going to shape

up and as the president sort of makes

his closing arguments any ideas Peter on

what the next two months for the

president looks like for midterm travel

and for trying to stump for Republicans

yeah he plans to travel a lot at

multiple days a week particularly in

states that he won where there are

Democrats currently representing that

state in the US Senate so expected more

trips to West Virginia

Indiana North Dakota and Montana as the

president tries to really get his base

excited about things that he's going on

that maybe aren't focused on so much

here within the beltway Leland

yeah president certainly want to talk

about the economy add perhaps Michigan

and Missouri to that list as well more

on that with the political panel Peter

thank you

you

Trump Exposes Massive Obama Coverup – 'This Is Totally Illegal' - Duration: 10:46.

Trump Exposes Massive Obama Coverup – 'This Is Totally Illegal'

Donald Trump just went off on Barack Obama after the latest revelation about what the

former administration did for Iran.

"The Obama Administration is now accused of trying to give Iran secret access to the

financial system of the United States.

This is totally illegal.

Perhaps we could get the 13 Angry Democrats to divert some of their energy to this "matter"

(as Comey would call it).

Investigate!" Trump tweeted, according to Right Wing News.

Senate Republicans just revealed that Obama tried to give Iran access to the U.S. financial

system by sidestepping sanctions kept in place after the 2015 nuclear deal, despite repeatedly

telling Congress and the public it had no plans to do so.

As Obama tried to make the Iran deal happen, he also worked to make sure Iran received

their so-called promised benefits without playing into the hands of the deal's opponents.

Iran got $150 billion in the deal as well as $400,000 in exchange for prisoners and

another $1.3 billion in cash that Iran claimed was owed to them.

Iran used this money to move ahead with their nuclear weapons program, massively beef up

their military and sponsor terrorism across the globe while the U.S. got nothing in return.

"The Obama administration misled the American people and Congress because they were desperate

to get a deal with Iran," said Sen. Rob Portman (R-OH).

We can only hope that Trump makes sure that Obama is held responsible for the illegal

things he did and that the former president ends up in prison where he belongs!

exactly who it has a trouble telling the

truth I think it's not NBC not CNN I

think it's the one guy named would watch

I think most of America understands that

Trump plays fast and loose with the

facts but he's generally directionally

right what position did that exactly

exaggerate every single thing the

question is though is it the media's job

to be doing this I mean CNN literally

calls them erases every single night and

so what is the President and they do

this at every Republican that did this

is George Bush as well the difference

with Donald Trump is that he responds

and his base loves it there are some

times that I would agree that the

president gets off base with his suite I

think we can all agree with that but

enlarge when it comes to the media it's

a winning issue for the president that's

why he continues to fight them I don't

know that it's a winning issue we'll see

but I mean to me it's like he just is

the snowflake president he's got a

grievance and he can't get beyond I hope

he's watching right now I feel tweet

Trump Promised To rein In Gov Spending - Undo The Liberal Transformation Obama Started In America - Duration: 2:54.

President Trump Takes A Scalpel To Obama Plan, Saves Taxpayers Millions

Donald Trump promised to rein in government spending and undo the liberal transformation

Obama started in America.

So far, he's been doing a bang-up job.

Trump's slashed bloated government programs and curtail abusive regulation.

He cut taxes for millions of Americans.

Yet, the government has enjoyed a surplus this year.

Amazing, isn't it?

Now Trump is setting his sights on one major expense that could use serious trimming, one

that Obama couldn't keep under control during his years as President. From WTop:

President Donald Trump says he plans to freeze automatic pay raises for civilian federal

employees in 2019, citing the need for government belt-tightening…

"We must maintain efforts to put our nation on a fiscally sustainable course, and federal

agency budgets cannot sustain such increases," Trump said in the letter…

Trump said the pay freeze would not "materially affect" the federal government's ability

to recruit qualified workers.

More broadly, the president has signaled his support for moving away from fixed schedule

of pay increases and toward performance-based pay.

Oh, God forbid we base pay increases on performance!

Imagine what was going on: ALL government employees were getting pay raises.

It didn't matter how poorly you were performing.

If you got in late for work every day, never finished your assignments, were rude to your

boss or co-workers: you still got a pay raise!

The federal government employs millions of people.

Thanks to the broken system, they can be assured of a job for the rest of their lives.

Government agencies are very reluctant to fire workers.

They don't lay off staff, even when they are unnecessary.

Plus, they get pay raises every year despite their performance.

All that Trump is doing is bringing a bit of reality into the situation.

Government employees should be held to the same standard as everyone else.

If they want a pay raise, they should earn it.

No more getting bumps in pay—just because you work for the government.

Already liberals are fuming at Trump's measure.

Mark Warner claimed Trump was "assaulting" federal workers.

M-hm.

Democrats are always quick to rage.

But they're not willing to do what it takes for the future of our country.

Trump invites a John Kerry challenge: 'I should only be so lucky' - Daily News - Duration: 7:53.

Donald Trump invited Obama-era Secretary of State John Kerry to challenge him in 2020 a day after the Democrat declined, when asked in an interview, to rule out another Oval Office bid

'I see that John Kerry, the father of the now terminated Iran deal, is thinking of running for President

I should only be so lucky - although the field that is currently assembling looks really good - FOR ME!' Trump wrote

Kerry said in an interview that aired Sunday on CBS that it's 'a total distraction and waste of time' to talk about the election that's two years away and that he's 'not really thinking about it

'But he also told 'Face the Nation' that Trump is 'dishonest' and 'doesn't know what he's talking about

Trump blames Kerry personally for entering into an international nuclear pact with Iran and other countries on behalf United States that the Republican president has said is one of the worst deals to ever come across his desk

He's said that Kerry should have 'walked away' when Tehran wouldn't abide by the terms presented by the U

S. Trump has also mocked the ex-diplomat for falling prey to a bicycle accident during one of his trips abroad to negotiate

'John Kerry — not the best negotiator we've ever seen. He never walked away from the table except to be in that bicycle race where he fell and broke his leg

That was the only time. I said, "Don't tell him you broke your leg. Just stay inside

Say you don't want to negotiate. You'll make a much better deal,' Trump said this year at the National Rifle Association's annual conference

In a CBS interview this Sunday, Kerry fought back. 'I did walk away. And we almost walked away on two or three other occasions where we thought it was necessary,' he said

'So he really, unfortunately, and I say this sadly- you know, more often than not he really just doesn't know what he's talking about

He makes things up, and he's making that up as he has other things,' Kerry added

Kerry said in the Sunday show appearance that he resisted slapping back at Trump on Twitter at the time of the disparaging comments because he believes Americans can determine the truth without him injecting his two cents

'I think America and our democracy are more thoughtful than dishonest tweets,' he said

Share this article Share Trump was not the only president to be targeted by Kerry in the interview, in which the ex-senator reflected on his time as America's chief diplomat and his failed presidential bid in 2004 while ramping up for a book tour

Kerry said in the interview that CBS taped weeks ago, and suggested it held in the wake of John McCain's death, that he believes former President Barack Obama should have enforced his 'red line' warning to Syria

The former Obama administration official said he believes the United States 'paid a price' for its inaction

Kerry said he thought Obama was going to launch a missile strike in Syria in 2013 after the country's dictator, Bashar al-Assad, used attacked his own citizens with chemical weapons

A year before, after all, Obama had said the use of chemical weapons would be a 'red line' that would be a 'game changer' for U

S. involvement in Syria.'I thought we were going to go forward. I thought that weekend was the weekend

I expected the phone call to be telling me that he had decided we were striking that night or whatever was going to happen, and it wasn't,' Kerry said on 'Face the Nation

'He recalled: 'I put several ideas on the table. The president was not persuaded by my argument

I believed that we had several options we could have done at very low risk to be able to make it clear to Assad that when we had a ceasefire and when he said he was going to live by it, he had to live by it

And I thought we should have done that.' Kerry said he believes the U.S. 'paid a price' because Obama did not stand by his threat

'But we got the chemical weapons out, which was the objective,' he added.  Kerry wrote about Obama's inaction in his book 'Everyday is Extra

' He says he doesn't agree with how the former president handled the pivotal moment, but he doesn't think it was a 'weak' point for Obama

'I don't think it's fair in terms of the president "being weak" because the president took a lot of very tough positions and did a lot of things that evidence strength and that showed a president who had a very clear moral compass as well as very clear, a very clear set of values and principles by which he knew he could protect our country,' Kerry said on 'Face the Nation

'  Kerry said he believes that Trump was right to bomb Syria following Assad's continued use of weapons - but disagrees with his one-time strike last April

'I don't support just a one-off where you drop a few bombs and there's no follow-up diplomacy and no additional effort to try to use the leverage you get out of doing that,' he argued

'I thought that the president should have done that, President Trump should have done that

'He went on to criticize Trump for his approach to Tehran in the interview, claiming it was 'common sense' for the nuclear agreement that Trump pulled out of to continue

Of his own efforts to save the deal, which included huddling overseas with world leaders whose countries were also party to the pact, Kerry said he violated no rules with the behind the scenes efforts and rebuffed claims that he attempted to undermine Trump

'I didn't negotiate. I spoke out, and I will always exercise my right to speak out,' he stated

Trump hurt America's - Duration: 5:22.

I didn't knew Fox News Sunday became a

comedy routine no the longer interviews

actually should play a longer bite maybe

we will in the future hours Chris did a

really nice job pressing him and asking

him questions about this the evidence

doesn't match the rhetoric workers are

well better off under this president yet

a union boss still sided with the

Democrats right well his complaint to

one of them he had he had a list of them

one of them was gas prices are up well

guess what that's what happens when you

have a booming economy and by the way

imagine how much higher they would be if

Donald Trump hadn't pursued energy

independence for Americans he also

complained about NAFTA this is the part

that really blew my mind trumka took the

side of Canada if you're a union member

and you're looking at this you're going

what he actually took the side of Canada

everybody knows that in this negotiation

Canada doesn't want to renegotiate

Canada likes the way the deal is deal

right now so back up the Bema before you

get there you get a realize chris

wallace who i think is as good of a

questioner in sunday mornings as anybody

he lays at he says you're the head of

the labor unions now let's look at what

president Trump's administration is done

we're chugging with the economy growing

at four point two percent and quarter

two unemployment fell to three point

nine percent in July consumer confidence

rose in August the highest level since

October of 2000 GDP may be headed for

three percent for the air or higher

depending who you talk to and youth

unemployment hits a 52-year low so mr.

Trump guy I asked you why is in this

administration good for labor and you

know what his answer was they haven't

passed an infrastructure bill I saw that

it was it was a it was like it's just

Richard Trumka is more of a political

animal than he is an advocate for the

American worker the labor union movement

has been bought and paid for by the

Democratic Party and vice versa he was

lunging at any reason to believe that a

Democratic win in the midterms would be

good for workers counter to the evidence

of what this president has done to put

the working man the blue-collar man for

at the forefront of an agenda and the

results are evident so I think if you're

a union member and you're watching this

guy does he represent me or does he

represent the swamp in the political

interests

others listen you're thinking that

exactly by the way interesting too that

he said that he he is with the Democrat

Party in the Democrat Party whenever

they have they in within their party

have conflicting interest of American

worker interests you have environmental

interests they always take the side of

the environmentalists over the American

worker here you have Donald Trump who

you know went ahead and green lighted

for example the the pipeline from trunka

on so not a thing it really is a

sounding you've mentioned the

blue-collar workers well an online poll

shows that 86% of those blue-collar

workers are satisfied with their jobs

eighty-five percent say their lives are

heading in the right direction

ninety-one percent

proud of the work they do 80 percent say

their jobs provide a good living so this

is an online survey done by Harris in

the in the middle of July about a

thousand 1049 blue-collar workers were

asked about this and you know these are

your proud folks that do really

important jobs that make our lives

better that are the engine of the

American economy and I think had been

forgotten for quite some time you know

micro you you love him he has a lot to

say about these types of jobs and why

this should be more prominent in our

economy well he says college graduates

these days shockingly they have

unrealistic expectations of the

workforce listen to micro you sit down

with people today who have matriculated

from a four-year institution there's an

expectation you know and and again I

don't really want to blame this group or

that group but the expectation is real

and the expectation is this I want a job

in my chosen field I want that job to

pay not just fairly but well and most

interestingly I would like that job to

be in my zip code like right now if you

walk it back you can identify the

disconnect that's happening in our

educational system and the expectations

that are leading to just a colossal

confusion with regard to what is really

happening out there and somewhere at the

root of it is the fiction of a safe

space and

this and this happy little hope that

somehow or another we can mitigate our

stress away by talking it through this

is the part of the show where we asked

for viewer comments emails at friends at

foxnews.com but I want Gino de Fabio who

is a forklift worker in Ohio I first had

him on the show doing a package he had

never voted for a Republican in his life

he comes from a labor family Gino if

you're watching tell us this Labor Day

what do you think about the labor market

along with all of our other viewers

because he is a pointing case in what

this administration has done for

laborers who had been led by the

libertine and Minnie felt in the wrong

direction but never had the candidate to

deliver what they wanted now you're

seeing it for the first time and these

numbers show that that's right you loved

her job do you feel like this

administration is fighting for you email

Puerto Rico Death Toll At Nearly 3,000, Trump Says He Did A "Great Job" - Duration: 5:56.

Earlier this week, a new report came out that adjusted the official death toll from Hurricane

Maria in Puerto Rico.

The official death toll has now jumped from 16 to 2,975.

Meaning, almost as many American citizens died in Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico as

died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

That is an increase, an increase of 4,500% over initial official estimates.

2,975 people dead.

We need to remember something here when we talk about these stories.

Puerto Rico is a United States territory.

The people who are residents of Puerto Rico are legal US citizens, and therefore, they

are under the protection of the United States federal government which includes emergency

management operations like FEMA and the National Guard.

Both of those institutions including the Federal government itself, failed in the response

to Hurricane Maria.

FEMA itself admitted in their own internal report, that they were grossly understaffed

and unprepared for the entire 2017 hurricane season, the one that spawned Maria and Irma

and Harvey.

They weren't ready for it.

Not only were they, according to their own estimates about 5,000 staffers short, they

also didn't have proper evacuation plans for Puerto Rico.

They relied on decades old studies that were no longer relevant whatsoever.

Then we also have the bigger problem that's been missed in almost every single story talking

about Puerto Rico, even though there haven't been that many stories talking about Puerto

Rico, and that is the role the United States banks played in helping to bankrupt the island.

United States banks came into Puerto Rico many years ago and started selling government

bonds.

Bonds for the island of Puerto Rico.

So people could invest in their own island, get a small but guaranteed return, but as

it turned out, those banks ripped off the consumers.

There is massive litigation ongoing right now.

Mike Papantonio, actually his law firm are handling many of these cases down there in

Puerto Rico, from investors who got ripped off from these major banks, but it has starved

Puerto Rico of money, and that is one of the reasons why the infrastructure was so horrible.

The island had no money to fix things before the storm, and that's what caused even more

widespread damage on the island.

We have the National Guard and FEMA, both of whom as I mentioned before, were pathetic

in their responses, unfortunately, but all that leadership comes from the top.

These 2,975 at least deaths rest on the feet of Donald J. Trump, the President of the United

States.

Here's the kicker.

Remember the massive outrage from George W. Bush's responses to Hurricane Katrina?

How awful he was?

You're doing a heck of job, Brownie.

Everybody across this country was absolutely appalled at how he handled that.

His approval rating tanked and it never recovered for the rest of his administration.

Where's that national outcry for Puerto Rico?

Are there too many people in the United States today that don't understand that Puerto Rico

is a United States territory?

That those people are US citizens, or more importantly that they're human beings in general

who we should be helping?

That's the problem.

That's one of the biggest things that makes me angry about this, is the fact that nobody

is talking about it.

There is no outrage, and that US citizen or not, these are human beings who are suffering

and we have the means to help them, but we are choosing not to.

We are choosing to not help out our fellow citizens down there in Puerto Rico.

That's what's happening.

The government has money, okay.

Don't let them tell you it's going broke.

Yeah, we've got a massive deficit.

We have to borrow money, but the money's there.

We could be helping these people.

We could have rebuilt this entire island by now.

You know, limited only by the number of contractors that we could have found.

We made this choice.

We made the choice to let them die.

We made the choice to just leave them there, in anguish.

As a country, that is not only unforgivable, but unacceptable, and somebody, the person

at the very top, needs to be held accountable for this.

I know Democrats don't want to talk about impeachment.

They don't want to run on Trump in the midterms and I agree with them for the most part on

all that, but this right here, Puerto Rico, the response to that, nearly 3,000 people

dead at least.

Some studies actually show maybe up to 5,000 dead.

This is something that they should run on.

They should run on the fact that Republican government starves the government itself of

funds, via tax dollars, so that we don't have a response.

They cut the budgets for groups like FEMA, so that they cannot properly respond to these

national disasters.

That should be a campaign talking point, but unfortunately, I don't see anyone out there

talking about it today, even after we got this insane report showing that the death

toll was over 4,000 times higher than what the government initially estimated.
