Trump should NEVER use nuclear button: Missile launchers say he's WORSE than first feared

The 17 veterans, who were responsible for firing nuclear missiles if ever ordered to by previous US presidents, said needed to be stripped of his power.

They said he and any other future president should not be placed in a position where they alone have sole authority to launch a nuclear weapon.

Mr Trump, they said in an open letter, had appeared unsuited to such responsibility during the US election campaign and had only proved this since.

The letter said: "In the final weeks of the presidential election, we sounded our alarm over Donald Trump's fitness to serve as commander-in-chief, with absolute authority over the nation's nuclear arsenal.  "One year into the Trump presidency, our alarm has only intensified and we must raise our voices again.

The president has had ample opportunity to educate and humble himself to the grave responsibilities of his office.  "Instead, he consistently shows himself to be easily baited, stubborn in his ignorance of world politics and diplomacy, and quick to brandish nuclear threats.

The reality of this presidency is worse than we feared.". They said Mr Trump's bizarre Twitter outbursts against North Korea and Kim Jong-un had puttee USA on "collision course" for war with the hermit state.

And they said conciliatory comments from South Korea, and the recent thawing in relations between north and south, had given Mr Trump the impression his reckless comments were working.  They said Mr Trump inability to grasp the severity of the situation meant America and the world was more at risk than ever. .

The letter said: "Every one of these episodes points to a flaw in the nuclear launch process that poses a clear and present danger to the country and the world: every American president has absolute authority to order the first use of nuclear weapons.

"We and our nation cannot abide being hostages to the mood swings of a petulant and foolish commander-in-chief.

"No individual, especially Donald Trump, should hold the absolute power to destroy nations.   "That is a clear lesson of this presidency and one that we, as former stewards of the launch keys, embrace with full conviction.

Trump Screws Lying Democrats & 'Shithole' Countries, Tells DACA Dreamers 'Where To Go' - Duration: 4:30.

President Donald Trump is being excoriated by the mainstream media over his alleged comments

about third-world countries.

According to Congressmen present in a meeting in the Oval Office on immigration, Trump lashed

out, asking them why they are insisting America take in illegal immigrants from "shithole"

countries.

Luckily, Trump doesn't buckle to the breathless reporting by the fake news, and he freaked

them out over his new plans for DACA Dreamers, making clear "where they could all go."

President Trump has been attempting to reach a bipartisan consensus regarding a few different

issues that seem to be tied together.

One is the Southern border wall, of course, which is the last thing any Democrat wants

to endorse.

Building the border wall is also something many globalist Republicans don't want, which

leaves Trump having to tie it to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, illegal

aliens.

Or, so we thought, because after the president put his best foot forward, trying to negotiate

a deal, the lying Democrats screwed him, once again.

Luckily, Trump posted several tweets going over the fake news reporting, so we would

all know what really went on since our mainstream media can't be trusted to tell us the truth.

The president tweeted, "The so-called bipartisan DACA deal presented yesterday to myself and

a group of Republican Senators and Congressmen was a big step backwards.

Wall was not properly funded, Chain & Lottery were made worse and USA would be forced to

take large numbers of people from high crime countries which are doing badly.

I want a merit-based system of immigration and people who will help take our country

to the next level.

I want safety and security for our people."

He went on, "I want to stop the massive inflow of drugs.

I want to fund our military, not do a Dem defund.

Because of the Democrats not being interested in life and safety, DACA has now taken a big

step backwards.

The Dems will threaten 'shutdown,' but what they are really doing is shutting down

our military, at a time we need it most.

Get smart, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

Lastly, he tweeted, "The language used by me at the DACA meeting was tough, but this

was not the language used.

What was really tough was the outlandish proposal made – a big setback for DACA!

Sadly, Democrats want to stop paying our troops and government workers in order to give a

sweetheart deal, not a fair deal, for DACA.

Take care of our Military, and our Country, FIRST!"

Trump is explaining his frustrations, and he is making it clear: If the Democrats want

to play games, he'll play games.

He is also making it clear that he will tell those DACA "kids" to get the hell out

of here.

I'm not sure if Trump said "shithole" when referring to third-world countries, but

good for him if he did.

Can anyone blame him?

He's trying to do what the American people elected him to do, and these clowns are worried

about illegal aliens.

— TrumpGirl (@TrumpRockNRolls) January 12, 2018

According to The Washington Post, "President Trump grew frustrated with lawmakers Thursday

in the Oval Office when they discussed protecting immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and African

countries as part of a bipartisan immigration deal, according to several people briefed

on the meeting."

"Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?"

Trump said, according to these people, referring to countries mentioned by the lawmakers.

Here's the key to why the president was so pissed off: When Trump claims, "Wall

was not properly funded, Chain & Lottery were made worse," this means the Democrats want

chain migration – where, if one immigrant is in the country, they can bring in their

whole entire family with them – and the "lottery" immigration system, which bases

immigration on a lottery not merit-based.

They want all of this but not to fund the wall?

I guess in the face of those facts, I'd be saying a lot more than just "shithole"

countries.

It's a wonder the president didn't throw every dirty Democrat out of the Oval.

The useful idiots are all focused on the word "shithole" when we have real issues going

on in this country.

You've got to be shaking your head at the fake news.

The president's frustrations are real as he fights for every one of us.

I really don't know how he deals with these idiots on a daily basis.

I'd want to slam back some good bourbon every night.

Thank God, he is a fighter, who won't give up until America is made great again.

North Korea could respond to a DEVASTATING Donald Trump attack using 'HACKED war plans' - DAILY NEWS - Duration: 5:59.

North Korea could respond to a DEVASTATING Donald Trump attack using 'HACKED war plans'

NORTH Korea's potential responses to a devastating attack from Donald Trump have been examined

by a former nuclear strategist for the Pentagon who has warned the US against giving kim Jong-un

a "bloody nose".

Van Jackson has a history of bracing America for North Korean attacks after spending years

"figuring out how to prevent or overcome future attacks".

The defence expert analysed the available options to the despot leader in the event

of an attack.

He explained: "If the United States attacked a North Korean missile site, Kim's immediate

challenge would be trying to determine in real time whether the United States just launched

a full-blown war.

"Keeping in mind that North Korean hackers stole alliance war plans last year, Kim will

look for specific indicators to quickly render this judgment."

If World War 3 had been triggered, the former Pentagon strategist detailed that the leader

of the hermit kingdom would "launch a devastating retaliatory response".

He said: "If Kim concluded that war were imminent, or that it had already begun, he

would have no choice but to launch a devastating retaliatory response in hopes that it raises

the stakes of conflict enough to cause the United States to back off.

"There's added urgency, too: The more time passes at the start of a conflict, the

greater the military disadvantage facing North Korea.

So Kim won't want to unnecessarily trigger a war himself, but as soon as he's concluded

the war is on, he must take drastic action immediately to maximise his chances of survival.

"That immediate drastic action does not inevitably take the form of nuclear attacks,

but the likelihood that it does is exceedingly high.

"Why?

Because, facing the 'fact' of war, Kim has multiple reinforcing incentives to launch

a nuclear strike immediately.

"Nukes are Kim's 'ace in the hole'; if he doesn't play them immediately, the

US might eliminate them in a first-wave attack."

The defence expert discussed reports that suggested the US is lining up a strike on

the isolationist state as a show of force.

He added: "Now, I'm getting nightmare flashbacks as I read the fragmentary reports

dribbling out in the media about what seems like an intense debate inside the Trump administration.

"A recent story suggests that some on the Trump team have floated the idea of giving

a 'bloody nose' to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un."

Mr Jackson explained that giving Kim Jong-un a "bloody nose" would involve a "preventive,

limited attack on a North Korean missile facility, nuclear facility or missile launch site".

Writing in Politico, he said: "If the United States aims to teach North Korea a lesson…it

needs the attack to be public, which should rule out using special forces or clandestine

means of destruction.

"The ideal target for sending a message to Pyongyang would also be the hardest to

hit — a mobile missile, fired from a 'transporter-erector-launcher'.

"Mobile targets are elusive and made more so by North Korea's recent use of solid

fuel, which gives fewer advance indicators of a pending missile launch.

"Successfully striking a mobile target located far from the South Korean border would show

that no target in North Korea is out of reach of US."

As the North Korea leader assesses the hypothetical situation, Mr Jackson stated that he would

ask a number of questions before deciding on a method of retaliation such as "are

North Korean radars, communications, or computer networks being jammed or disrupted?" and

"are American civilians being evacuated from South Korea?".

However, Mr Jackson explained that if the US had instead opted against starting World

War 3 and decided to give him a "bloody nose" instead, Kim Jong-un would respond

with "violence" to prevent a "coup d'état" that removes him from power.

He stated: "Advocates of the bloody nose theory believe that Kim won't conclude that

a single attack amounts to war despite the numerous indicators above that suggest he

would.

"They're wrong, but suppose a best-case scenario for the bloody-nosers — that Kim

errs on the side of caution and decides that a US preventive attack is not a war-launching

action.

"Even then, though, there's a second problem that directly undermines the bloody-nose assumptions

— for reasons of domestic politics and strategic culture, Kim must respond to violence with

violence.

"Kim leads a military and policy elite with a very specific set of beliefs about the utility

of force and how the country has managed to survive — by responding to pressure with

pressure, by resorting to brinkmanship in times of crisis, and by launching occasional

unprovoked, limited attacks at times and places of its choosing.

"If Kim recognises a limited attack as being limited, then he's less likely to launch

nuclear strikes but much more likely to launch a retaliatory campaign of violence at a time

and place of his choosing.

"To do otherwise would open him to charges of weakness and risk a coup d'état that

ousts him from power."

Major California Democrat Goes Rogue, Openly Supports Trump's Top Priority Live On TV - Duration: 3:13.

It's taken them a year to figure it out.

But some Democrats have discovered that President Trump really does know how to get his agenda

implemented.

In other words, all that talk about "winning" was not just bluster.

He outlined what he wanted to get done, and has largely accomplished that agenda in his

first term.

What remains to be finalized are immigration issues and the replacement for Obamacare.

And even some of those goals have been accomplished via executive orders.

Obamacare has been largely gutted, and now exists mostly in name only.

And the border wall is coming regardless of what Nancy Pelosi and her pals want.

More and more cracks are appearing in the Democratic opposition to the border wall.

Now, Democratic congresswoman from California Jackie Speier has announced that she is ready

to work with the president.

And it's safe to assume that if one Democratic member of Congress is ready to cooperate on

the wall, there are many more of the same persuasion who have simply not made their

positions public yet.

Rep. Jackie Speier, D-Calif., broke ranks with Democratic leaders on Thursday and said

she is willing to work with President Trump and congressional Republicans on legalizing

the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program in return for border wall funding.

"I'm willing to go, you know, midway with the president and the Republicans to fund

higher-tech walls along our border, more border security, enhanced measures, but I really

feel very strongly that our DACA kids need to be protected," Speier told MSNBC host

Craig Melvin, who seemed stunned by the statement.

This is probably all the heresy a Democrat can utter without getting excommunicated from

the party.

And it mirrors the position recently published by the Washington Post.

So what we might have here is a coordinated effort to at least take part of the credit

for accomplishing something.

After all, they certainly don't want to be seen as just sitting around irrelevant

as the Democrats did during the president's tax bill success.

"'To be clear, I want to clarify.

You are okay with giving the president his wall in exchange for DACA?'

Melvin asked.

"'I would be willing to give the president a high-tech wall, willing to give him some

amount of money to build his wall to a certain degree,' Speier said."

We have all the makings of successfully passing legislation addressing these issues.

It's just a matter of working out the details along with plenty of political theater to

satisfy supporters in both parties.

Proving they are yesterday's leaders, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority

Leader Chuck Schumer have both previously insisted the Democratic Party would not compromise

on that request.

Those two offer nothing of value to the American people and are actually a drag on their own

party.

However, in the finest of political traditions, they remain either unaware of, or indifferent

to, their own uselessness.

At least Pelosi and Schumer do one thing well.

They demonstrate the sort of leaders who should be forced into retirement.

Meanwhile, they can watch a true leader, President Trump, work with selected members of the Democratic

Party to move forward his agenda.

It's something to behold.

Sam's Club closing dozens of stores; some being converted to distribution centers

Sam's Club, the membership warehouse owned by retail giant Walmart, is shutting down or converting 63 stores.

The company attributed the decision to the need to better fulfill online orders, less population growth than expected in some markets and too many competing locations.

The Sam's Club closures were confirmed the same day Walmart said it would lift the hourly minimum wage in the U.S. to $11 and give out bonuses of up to $1,000.

Of the Sam's Club locations, about 50 will be going out of business for good. Roughly 10 of those locations are closing their doors as of Thursday, while the remainder will be shuttered over the next three to four weeks.

About 10 to 12 of the stores are slated to be closed temporarily as the retailer converts them to regional distributional centers to help fulfill online purchases. Workers previously employed at those sites are not guaranteed one of the new positions.

In a note to staff, Sam's Club President and CEO John Furner said that a review found stores that were hindering business at other locations or operating in areas that had not seen the population growth that was expected.

"We've decided to right-size our fleet and better align our locations with our strategy,'' he wrote. "We will be closing some clubs, and we notified them today. We'll convert some of them into eCommerce fulfillment centers — to better serve the growing number of members shopping with us online and continue scaling the SamsClub.com business.''

News of the closures began to slowly trickle out Thursday. Notices filed with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development revealed that three Sam's Club stores in Indiana would be shutting down, while news outlets across the U.S. began reporting possible closures in cities from Memphis to Atlanta to Houston.

The company would not provide a list of the specific locations that will be closed or the number of employees that would be impacted, but public filings examined by USA TODAY revealed that at least 3,802 workers will be affected.

There are 419 employees at the three Indiana locations, according to filings required by the U.S. Department of Labor when there are significant layoffs.

Public filings also revealed locations in other parts of the U.S. that would be shutting their doors. In Illinois, seven Sam's Clubs employing 1,138 people were slated to close Jan. 26, The notifications said that the termination of hourly workers would be effective as of March 16, and for managers as of April 13.

In Louisiana, a Sam's Club in Baton Rouge that employs 176 workers was scheduled to close Thursday, with hourly staff being terminated as of March 16 and managers as of April 13. Ohio has two stores closing in Cincinnati and Loveland, with a total of 285 workers potentially affected. Their date to be laid off, according to the public notifications, is March 16.

Piers Morgan The Crazier the Trump Haters Get, The Better Presid - Duration: 3:13.

Piers Morgan The Crazier the Trump Haters Get, The Better President Trump Looks

Piers Morgan agreed with the assessment of multiple media personalities that President

Trumps performance overseeing an immigration meeting with members of Congress on Tuesday

completely countered the narrative of him being unfit for office.

A miracle occurred in Washington DC yesterday, Morgan began his column for The U.K. Daily

Mail in reference to the 55-minute bi-partisan meeting at the White House.

Trump was lucid, competent, confident, charming and informed.

Indeed, he looked, sounded and behaved like a capable president running a very important

gathering of some of Americas most senior politicians, by Morgans estimation.

The columnist called what he witnessed an extraordinary hour of riveting debate on

one of the nations most intractable issues of illegal immigration, which included

the fate of the 800,000 non-citizens currently registered in the DACA program.

This was reality show democracy, artfully conducted by one of the countrys most successful

ever reality TV stars, wrote the former Celebrity Apprentice participant.

Everything viewers witnessed ran contrary to author Michael Wolffs narrative in his

new book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, which depicted Trump as senile,

unstable and moronic.

To me, whos known him ten years, he seemed the same as hes always been,

observed Morgan, which is none of those things.

He went on to point out that South Korean President Moon-Jae-in publicly credited Trump

for his huge contribution in helping make the first inter-Korean talks in over

two years happen.

So here we are, less than two weeks into 2018, and President Trump has possibly fixed

Americas biggest immigration issue AND averted nuclear war, contended Morgan.

Not bad for an insane imbecile, right?

The columnist continued noting while Trumps stock appears to be on the rise, his most

vocal opponents credibility is falling.

Morgan pointed to actor Robert De Niro as a prime example.

At the National Board of Review awards show in New York City Tuesday night, the Raging

Bull star, while introducing fellow anti-Trump film star Meryl Streep, labeled Trump as jerk-off-in-chief

and baby-in-chief, and said that the president is a fing fool.

Anderson Cooper, John Legend & Others Slam Donald Trump for 'Racist' 'S--thole Countries'

Comment

President Donald Trump was heavily criticized Thursday for comments made about immigrants

from what he called "s–thole" countries during a meeting with lawmakers.

The Washington Post reported the president, 71, became frustrated during the meeting when

they discussed protections for immigrants from Haiti, El Salvador and Africa.

"Why are we having all these people from s–thole countries come here?"

Trump said, according to the Post.

Anderson Cooper made an emotional statement defending Haiti Thursday night on CNN, saying,

"Let me be clear, the people of Haiti have been through more, withstood more, fought

back against more injustice than our President ever has."

"I was taught math in high school by a Haitian immigrant named Yves Volel, who worked hard,

dedicated himself to teaching kids," he said.

"He ultimately returned to Haiti and was assassinated while running for president."

The Anderson Cooper 360° anchor continued speaking in favor of the Haitian people.

"I have never met a Haitian who isn't strong," Cooper continued.

"You have to be to survive in a place where the government has often abandoned its people.

Where opportunities are few and where Mother Nature has punished the people far more than

anyone should ever be punished."

He became emotional as he described the people he had encountered in the aftermath of its

devastating earthquake.

"I was there when the 5-year-old boy named Monley was rescued after being buried for

more than seven days," he said, his voice growing thick.

"Do you know what strength it takes to survive on rainwater buried under concrete — a 5-year-old

boy?"

"Haitians slap your hand hard when they shake it," Cooper said.

"They look you in the eye, they do not blink.

They stand tall.

They have dignity.

A dignity many in this White House could learn from.

A dignity the president with all his money and power could learn from as well."

He concluded, "On the eve of the anniversary of the earthquake, on this day when this president

has said what he has about Haitians, we hope the people in Haiti listening tonight in Port

Au Prince and Jacmel, and Miami and elsewhere – we hope they know our thoughts are with

them, and our love is with them.

John Legend tweeted against Trump after the news broke, calling him "racist."

"The president is a racist.

He has been for his entire public life," he tweeted.

"If you vote(d) for him, you do so because of that or despite that.

We need a multi-racial anti-racist coalition to defeat him and try to heal our nation."

Broadway actor Ben Platt, Chelsea Clinton, Questlove, Patton Oswalt and Ben Stiller also

reacted on Twitter.

"The only s–thole is Tr*mp," Platt tweeted, while Clinton wrote, "Mr. President, immigrants

from El Salvador, Haiti and the 54 countries in Africa likely helped build your buildings.

They've certainly helped build our country.

cc @POTUS."

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox tweeted and created a poll, asking, "If @realDonaldTrump

would've said those racist comments while campaigning, plus his other barbaric comments;

do you think it would have changed the outcome?"

Don Lemon also criticized the president on CNN Tonight saying his comments didn't leave

him outraged because he "already knew" Trump was "racist."

"The president of the United States is racist.

A lot of us already knew that."

Lemon urged Trump's supported to do "some self-examination," saying, "What does

it say about you that no matter what, no matter what, you continue to make excuses for this

man, for his vile behavior?

Doesn't that make you just as bad, if not worse than him?"

Seth Meyers also addressed Trump's comments on Thursday's Late Night.

He introduced a new segment called "Seth Has to Walk Away For a Minute," in which

he fittingly walked away from his desk.

His voice was heard from offscreen, muttering, "At what point do you just have some common

decency, some human emotion?"

Trump to Send Americans to the Moon - Duration: 2:37.

Trump

to Send Americans to the Moon

On Monday, December 11, President Trump held a ceremony where he signed a new directive

for Americas space program.

The goal?

Putting American astronauts back on the moon to establish a foundation for an eventual

mission to Mars.

Now where have we heard something like this before?

Oh yes, former Speaker of the House and Republican Presidential Candidate, Newt Gingrich, mentioned

colonizing the moon on the campaign trail, claiming in 2012 that if he were elected,

by the end of his second term, we will have the first permanent base on the moon

and it will be American.

Well it seems that the idea resonated with the Trump administration as well.

And while there was no talk of fitting a giant laser on the moon and pointing it at North

Korea, President Trump didnt rule out weaponizing the moon.

Space has so much to do with so many other applications, he said.

Including a military application.

Vice President Mike Pence is the chairman of the recently-revived National Space Council,

which were the ones who unanimously approved the directive behind closed doors in October.

At Mondays press conference, Pence made it clear that this new policy will enhance

our national security and our capacity to provide for the common defense of the people

of the United States of America.

So what does this mean for the common American?

Will the 51st state be on the moon?

Will we be able to take our vacations into orbit on the back of an American rocket and

stay at a Trump Moon Hotel?

Will we fend off nuclear missiles with a Dr. Evil-type moon laser after all?

Imagine the possibility waiting in those big, beautiful stars if we dare to dream big,

the President said.

And thats what our country is doing again: Were dreaming big.

While Everyone is Freaking Out Over Trump DACA Promise, He Just - Duration: 3:37.

While

Everyone is Freaking Out Over Trump DACA Promise, He Just Did the Most Trump Thing Ever

Its become fashionable among journalists and various politicos to discuss whether Democrats

should attempt to remove President Donald Trump from office via the Twenty-Fifth Amendment,

supposedly because he has become too mentally incapacitated to fulfill his duties.

After his televised meeting with top House and Senate leaders from both parties, the

liberal fantasy that they can simply nullify the results from the last presidential election

bolstered by the discredited accounts from Michael Wolffs book Fire and Fury

that made the president appear psychologically unstable should no longer be entertained

by the media any more than it already was.

No individual who is mentally unstable or dangerously unfit could have possibly ran

an hour-long negotiation and discussion over complex policy solutions as the president

did Tuesday.

Throughout the meeting, Trump not only seemed engaged and alert, but also served as a leader

managing both parties desires.

Even an article in USA Today, whose editors wrote an editorial late last year titled Will

Trumps Lows Ever Hit Rock Bottom? called the meeting extraordinary.

Sen. Lindsey Graham called the negotiations the most fascinating meeting Ive been

involved with in 20-plus years in politics.

The presidents performance Tuesday afternoon raised further questions about how a Yale

psychiatrist deemed it appropriate to deliver a warning to a group of Democratic lawmakers

that they should consider removing Trump from office.

Nor does the presidents clear sanity and mental fitness regardless of whether or

not one agrees with him on policy issues jive with Wolffs assertion that the Twenty-Fifth

Amendment is a subject of regular conversation within the White House.

In an interview on Meet The Press, Wolff told Chuck Todd that the Twenty-Fifth Amendment

which allows the vice president to take power in cases where the president dies or

becomes incapacitated is alive every day in the West Wing.

On top of being grossly inappropriate, any effort by Democrats or anti-Trump Republicans

to invoke the Twenty-Fifth Amendment going forward will have to reconcile with the fact

that millions of Americans have now seen Trump publicly performing the duties of the office

more than competently.

Of course, there are those who wont ever be happy.

A Vox article ran last weekend arguing that Trump needed a psychological evaluation by

force if necessary.

Trump defended his mental state in a series of tweets earlier this week.

The idea of essentially kidnapping a president because some tweets made a liberal writer

uncomfortable was comically ridiculous before, but after todays public meeting, it just

seems like a pathetic attempt to kick a Republican out of office.
