Donald Trump scraps 'surprise' visit to North Korea military border 'when seconds away'

The was minutes from landing in a helicopter near the but the plan had to be scrapped due to "poor weather", according to the White House.

The visit would have marked a historic step closer by Trump to with whom the Republican has been engaged in an escalating war of words since he took office earlier this year.

The move comes amid fears during Trump's South Korea visit.  The White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said Trump was disappointed that his surprise trip to the DMZ was thwarted after two attempts by Marine One to land near the North Korean border.

She added the President is "pretty frustrated" that he had to change his plans.

as part of his 12-day Asia tour with his wife Melania.  Marine One had flown most of the way from Seoul to the DMZ before turning due to poor weather conditions.

Weather reports from near the DMZ showed misting conditions and visibility below one mile. The White House said Trump's trip to the DMZ had been planned well before he left for Asia, but it was kept secret due to security concerns.

The President and Melania were welcomed with a red carpet and a ceremonial military guard of honour arrayed on the airport tarmac.

The firebrand Republican then flew by helicopter to Camp Humphreys, a US base south of Seoul, where he is currently meeting with American and South Korean service members.

The visit marks the closest he has come to the frontline of the nuclear standoff with North Korea.

Addressing the 8th US Army in Korea – which brandished the motto Pacific Victors! – about the situation with the hermit kingdom, he added: "Ultimately, it will all work out. It always works out.

"It has to work out." Tweeting before he boarded Air Force One, the US President said: Getting ready to leave for South Korea and meetings with President Moon, a fine gentleman. We will figure it all out!.

And after a meeting with South Korean president Moon Jae-in, Trump said: "We cannot allow North Korea to threaten all that we have built.

"It really makes sense for North Korea to come to the table and make a deal." Trump's visit to South Korea will conclude with a major speech on North Korea to the National Assembly later today.

The high-profile visit could provoke a fiery response from Kim Jong-un, who sees any cooperation between the US and North Korea's Asian rivals as preparation for war.

In February, the hermit state fired a rocket after Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe met Mr Trump in Florida. And North Korea fired another missile as Mr Trump met with Chinese leader Xi Jinping.

Joshua Pollack of RUSI, a Defence think tank, said North Korea could fire the weapon in a desperate show of force as his two fiercest rivals move closer together.

Mr Pollack said Kim favoured "public demonstrations" and expected one to take place shortly. He added: "North Korean leadership undoubtedly feels pushed into a corner.

"The logical sequence of actions would be to start testing them to full range into the Pacific, and then to use one for a live nuclear test if it is deemed necessary to convince America's leaders that a new reality has emerged." And experts fear that this would most likely be the 'Juche Bird' H-bomb - the most powerful weapon North Korea possesses.

Trump Walks Into South Korea Military Base, Immediately Does What No POTUS Has Done Before - Duration: 4:08.

President Donald Trump is currently in the midst of a nearly two-week overseas trip through

Asia.

After spending two days with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo, he moved on

to South Korea on Monday, where he kicked off his visit at Camp Humphreys, the U.S.'s

largest overseas military base.

As soon as Trump walked into the base, he immediately did something which no other POTUS

before him had done, and our troops could not have been happier.

Trump's visit to South Korea kicked off with a bang on Monday as he was met by President

Moon Jae-in at Camp Humphreys.

As Mad World News previously reported, this was a distinct honor for Trump, as the South

Korean president broke with protocol to surprise his American counterpart at the U.S. military

base.

Camp Humphreys holds special significance to the alliance between the U.S. and South

Korea, as it is the largest of America's overseas military bases.

The enormous facility cost 10.7 billion dollars, 92 percent of which South Korea paid for.

At first glance, Humphreys looks like an ordinary American suburb.

With K-12 schools, chapels, a library, a big box store, dental and veterinary clinics and

a spacious plaza where kids can skateboard and eat ice cream, Humphreys could easily

be in Dallas or Denver.

It's the security gates, razor-wire topped walls and the M1 Abrams tanks that stand out.

U.S. Army Garrison Humphreys is, in fact, in Pyeongtaek, 40 miles south of Seoul, South

Korea.

[Source: The Diplomat] Trump's first stop in South Korea was Camp

Humphreys, where he made a gesture towards the U.S. troops which no other president had

before.

To the delight of the servicemen and women stationed there, Trump decided to forgo having

a fancy meal on his own in order to eat in the canteen with members of the military instead.

As President Trump and First Lady Melania continue their tour across Asia, their second

stop in South Korea includes a visit to Camp Humphreys, a military base about 40 miles

south of Seoul.

President Trump opted to dine with 108 hand-picked military servicemembers, which included 20

from South Korea, to show his appreciation for the troops right before the upcoming Veterans

Day holiday.

[Source: US Truth Wire] Upon learning that Trump would be dining with

the troops, the manager of the military dining facility was understandably taken aback.

He never expected the president to do such a thing.

After all, no president before him ever had.

The manager remarked that he was nervous the food would not be good enough for Trump, as

no special accommodations had been made, and he offered the president something other than

what the troops were served.

However, Trump said he wanted to eat what the service members were eating, proving that

even though he is worth billions of dollars, he is as down to earth as you or me.

One military member, Pvt.

Merion Holmes, 21, of Georgetown, South Carolina, said that what President Trump told the troops

made their jaws drop to the floor.

"He said he'd rather eat with the troops than at a fancy restaurant.

It made me feel like he cared," said Holmes.

Indeed, these military heroes are away from their homes and their families for months

on end.

Thus, it undoubtedly served as a much-appreciated gesture for their Commander-in-Chief to personally

dine with them.

This is precisely why President Donald Trump is so respected by our military.

When given the choice between eating a luxury meal at a high-end restaurant or eating a

regular old lunch with U.S. troops at a canteen on base, he didn't think twice before choosing

the latter.

Donald Trump's elite KILL TEAM scrambled amid ASSASSINATION fears on Kim's doorstep

Special forces unit Hawkeye was pictured on stand-by as the US President abandoned a trip to the infamous demilitarised zone. The DMZ is the 2.5 mile wasteland that separates North and South Korea.

Trump was due to make a surprise visit, but it was cancelled at the last minute – with the official reason given being "fog".

But with the White House's top gun squad on standby, perhaps there was another reason? North Korea has previously threatened to kill Trump in horrifying propaganda featuring the US boss being beheaded.

"History is filled with discarded regimes that have foolishly tested America's resolve" Donald Trump Pictures of Trump's attempted to visit to the DMZ revealed the camp-clad special forces waiting in their chinook chopper.

The US President flew in on his helicopter – called Marine One – and then waited in his car while officials debating making the trip to the frontline of North Korea.

Each soldier was armoured, wearing a helmets, carrying a huge pack, and with an assault rifle slung under their arms. Sniper incidents have occured on the DMZ, with a South Korean soldier being killed by a North Korean gunman back in 1987.

Hawkeye are a Secret Service Counter-Assault Team (CAT) assigned to defend the US President. They are deployed to repel coordinated attacks against officials and were formed after the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan.

Each unit is given a designation matching the President's call-sign – so for Trump their full name is "Hawkeye Mogul". Troops are equipped with an SR-16 rifle, a pistol and a pack of stun grenades.

They are specially trained to counter ambushes and fight in close quarters. North Korea has one of the most fortified borders in the world – and has thousands of artillery pieces trained on their neighbours to the South.

Trump's visit would have caused a major stir as five US aircraft carriers are sailing in the Pacific. War fears have reached new highs this year as Kim refuses to give up his quest for ICBMs.

Daily Star Online revealed a US special forces plane was seen circling the Korean Peninsula as Trump sat down with President Moon Jae-in.

The US President warned North Korea the US does "not seek confrontation, but we will never run from it". Trump has now jetted off to China as he readies for a sit-down with Beijing boss Xi Jinping.

Trump Skips Out on "Fancy Lunch" in Order to Sit Down and Eat With the Troops - TODAY NEWS - Duration: 2:34.

President Donald Trump chose to forgo a fancy lunch on Tuesday so he could sit down and

enjoy a meal with U.S. and South Korean troops.

Trump and South Korean President Moon Jae-in joined 108 servicemen and women, including

over a dozen South Koreans, for Taco Tuesday at Camp Humphreys during his visit to South

Korea, according to Stars and Stripes.

"I had a choice of having a beautiful, very fancy lunch and I said no, I want to eat with

the troops and we ate with the troops," Trump said, according to a statement from

the White House.

Pvt.

Merion Holmes, 21, of Georgetown, South Carolina, said he was honored to see Trump.

"He said he'd rather eat with the troops than at a fancy restaurant," Holmes told

Stars and Stripes after the meal.

"It made me feel like he cared."

Before the meal, Sgt.

Jerrell Knight of Atlanta said he was nervous when he found out he would be seated next

to the president.

"I get to meet my commander in chief, my boss.

It's pretty overwhelming to be right next to the president," Knight said, as reported

by Stars and Stripes.

Knight said the president spoke about the U.S.-South Korean alliance and the need for

a solution to the North Korean problem.

He said Trump thanked him for his service and shook his hand.

In a video posted to Twitter, the president told the troops he was honored to be with

them.

Trump reportedly had to decide where to eat: with the troops or while visiting the DMZ.

A senior administration official told reporters Tuesday that there wasn't enough time to

visit both Camp Humphreys and the DMZ.

He said it made sense for Trump to visit the DMZ since no U.S. president has ever visited

there before, the U.K. Guardian reported.

U.S. Defense Secretary Jim Mattis visited the DMZ last week and Vice President Mike

Pence and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson have also recently visited the area.

"It's becoming a little bit of a cliché, frankly.

And that's why he's going to be down at Humphreys," the official said, as reported

by the Guardian.

Trump's decision to skip out on a "fancy lunch" and eat with troops says a lot about

his character.

We can only wonder if former President Barack Obama would have made a similar choice.

Obama Furious At Trump's Unprecedented Purge Of 800 Gov't Workers After Uncovering SICK Thing - Duration: 5:21.

Ever since Trump took office, his love and appreciation for our military personnel has

been on full display, a drastic change from Obama who reduced our Marines to his umbrella

holders/personal servant boys.

After Obama ran on the promise to fix the VA, then went on to let a vast number of our

veterans die waiting on care, President Trump is finally stepping in to fix the VA once

and for all.

And what just took place at the White House overnight for those who paid the ultimate

sacrifice for our freedom is putting a giant smiles on the faces of our veterans, while

making Hussein Obama look like an even bigger jerk (if that's even possible).

Obama's nasty treatment towards our military was outrageous.

Not only did he change our military's ROE (Rules Of Engagement), making it virtually

impossible for our soldiers to defend themselves against the enemy, but he gutted our military

to pre-World War II capabilities as well.

Add treason on top of his antics, where he emptied out GITMO and put our biggest enemies

of Iran on a path to a nuclear weapon, and it's plain to see why most veterans want

to punch through a wall anytime they see Obama's smug mug appear on television.

But Obama's biggest slap in the face to our veterans came after he promised to fix

the VA, only to let things get drastically worse for our veterans.

Throughout 8 years of Hussein Obama's regime, hundreds of thousands of veterans would go

on to be forgotten, dying while waiting to be treated at VA hospitals across the nation.

But thank our lucky stars that we finally have a Commander-in-Chief who gives a flying

crap about our veterans and isn't in bed with Muslim terrorists.

President Trump is not only fixing the VA that Obama failed to do, but is making Obama's

corrupt VA officials pay the ultimate price for their negligence.

In a clean sweep that happened in the overnight hours, it's being reported that 500 VA employees

have just been terminated, and an additional 200 have been suspended for their shady conduct.

The Gateway Pundit reported:

The Department of Veterans made public a list of employee terminations, demotions, and suspensions.

It has expressed that this list week be updated weekly in an effort to add more transparency

to the department following Congresses' push to increase the scope of power by the

VA secretary.

President Trump expressed his frustration with the VA back on the campaign trail, stating

that the VA was "probably the most incompetently run agency in the United States."

The bulk of firings were directed at lower level VA workers, such as house keepers and

food service workers, after learning that initial oversight was not implemented.

Many of these employees were discovered to be felons, sex offenders, or generally incompetent.

This has lead to poor care, and at times death from neglect, for our veterans.

Va Secretary David Shulkin said in a written statement that he is doing everything to hold

VA employees accountable and will now make the actions of all employees transparent to

tax payers, as they have the "right to know" what is going on.

The Starts and Stripes reports that a list was posted online over the weekend containing

the date and type of disciplinary actions for the 800 employees that President Trump

is cracking down on.

Stars and Stripes reported:

"Veterans and taxpayers have a right to know what we're doing to hold our employees

accountable and make our personnel actions transparent," VA Secretary David Shulkin

said in written statement.

"Posting this information online for all to see, and updating it weekly, will do just

that."

The list, posted online Friday, contained the occupation, VA region, the date and type

of disciplinary action for approximately 800 VA employees disciplined since Jan. 20.

For privacy reasons, the VA is not posting employees' names.

The initiative is part of the new VA Office of Accountability and Whistleblower Protection

that Trump created in April with an executive order.

Navy and Air Force veteran Peter O'Rourke is directing the office and advising Shulkin

on the discipline of VA managers and employees.

Shulkin gained more firing authority after Trump signed legislation June 23 establishing

more repercussions and a faster firing process for VA employees.

Trump, Shulkin, and many veterans and supporters of the legislation said the new rules would

allow the VA to root out poor-performing employees and a perceived culture of corruption in the

department.

Thank God we finally have a Commander-in-Chief who genuinely cares about our troops, unlike

the jerk who spent the past 8 years furthering the Islamic agenda!

If you're HAPPY AS A HIPPO that Obama is gone, be sure to hit the share button on this

article and spread the wonderful news about what President Trump is doing for our veterans!

Robert De Niro Just Busted In Disgusting Act After Calling Trump A 'Low Life' - Duration: 5:16.

It was not that long ago that WikiLeaks dropped the Podesta emails which depicted pedophilia

in our very own government.

Of course, the mainstream media has done its best to sweep this disgusting crime under

the rug.

However, there are those out there who are determined to root out these perverts hiding

in our government and the entertainment industry.

Over the last few weeks, new explosive allegations have emerged that point to a circle of high-powered

executives and actors engaged in pedophilia and sexual assault.

Harvey Weinstein, an influential film producer, and Kevin Spacey, an Oscar-winning actor,

have both been fingered as perpetrators in this sick circle.

Now, Robert De Niro another member of Hollywood royalty was just discovered using the services

of an international prostitution ring, but this sex ring has an even darker underbelly

that will shock everyone.

During the presidential election, the liberal media and Hollywood elites continually based

Donald Trump as a "low-life" sexual predator.

The allegations stemmed from leaked audio tapes from 2005, of Trump in a locker room

speaking crassly to washed-up actor Billy Bush.

Of course, the conversation was taken out of context, but that did not stop Robert De

Niro from using that audio to blast President Trump as a sexual predator.

Now, De Niro has been caught in a scandal that will not quickly be swept under the rug

since the acclaimed actor was caught employing the services of a prostitution ring known

to hire underaged children for wealthy, high-powered clients.

According to court documents, John Lichfield, a journalist who works for London's Independent

revealed that the prostitution agency routinely entrapped underage girls as young as 15-years-old,

and forced them to have sex with Hollywood's rich and powerful.

The court documents read like a trashy sex novel, filled with movie stars, high-ranking

foreign dignitaries, arms deals, and politicians from the United States.

Of course, the mainstream media did all that they could to hide this explosive story and

protect Robert De Niro from the damaging discovery.

After discovering the court documents, John Lichfield wrote, "Six people are charged

with the running of an international prostitution ring, whose call-girls entertained the actor

Robert De Niro, the former tennis player, Wojtek Fibak, two senior (but unnamed) French

politicians and several Gulf princes.

The agency specialised in tricking, or trapping, star-struck teenage girls into selling their

bodies with the promise of careers as models or actresses."

This horrific discovery of sexual perversion was terrible enough, but the connection between

De Niro and sexual predator Harvey Weinstein is even worse.

According to sources, the two men were good friends and were often photographed together,

and Weinstein frequented De Niro's exclusive Manhattan restaurant, Tribeca Grill.

The swanky eatery was known as a "luxe magnet for celebrity seekers," and Weinstein was

often found there luring his victims with promises of fame and fortune before sexually

assaulting them.

Here is more from USNP:

A former employee of De Niro's at Tribeca Grill opened up to the New York Post about

what it was like working in Robert De Niro's world.

The waitress revealed that while De Niro fawned over Harvey Weinstein, catering to his every

whim, the Hollywood producer would treat her and her colleagues like human garbage.

"Harvey Weinstein was every bit the sleazy Hollywood caricature recent reports have made

him out to be.

When I was working as a waitress, I watched numerous times as a string of young women

— some seemingly no older than 21 — entered the restaurant for long, flirty dinners with

him, even though he was married with five children.

"These women were all the same: vaguely European, always beautiful, stylishly dressed,

and totally out of place next to someone like him.

"The ritual for his rendezvous was very firm.

Champagne, caviar, and an unspoken rule that Weinstein and his date not be disturbed.

The pair would sit close, whispering and touching each other suggestively.

After dining, Weinstein and the woman would often disappear for a while, exiting the restaurant

through a side door."

When President Trump said that he was going to drain the swamp, it did not just apply

to crooked politicians, in the government.

Trump is intent on busting human trafficking rings and the people who prey on innocent

children for their nasty sexual pleasure.

Earlier this year, President Trump announced a federal investigation into the elite pedophile

scandal that has gripped our nation.

After learning of yet another dominant Hollywood individual being embroiled in a sex scandal,

it makes sense why these actors, producers, and politicians are scared of President Donald

Trump.

Putin and Trump WILL meet in Vietnam to thrash out how exactly to deal with North Korea - Duration: 3:35.

Putin and Trump WILL meet in Vietnam to thrash out how exactly to deal with North Korea

The superpowers are set to thrash out a deal on how to stem the threat of warmongering Kim Jong-un and his secretive regime amid fears of being sparked.  The news comes after President on Tuesday called on Russia and China to do more to defeat the crackpot dictator during a speech in South Korea.  Russia's deputy foreign minister Sergei Rybakov said North Korea would be one of the key themes during the meeting between the pair, which will take place when the US leader is on his five-nation Asia tour.  President Donald Trump is due to visit Vietnam on November 9 and 10 during his 10-day trip.

He has also travelled to Beijing today for talks with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, with the crisis and high-profile trade discussions set to be top of the agenda.

Speaking during the second day of his 12-day Asia tour, the Republican firebrand called on the international community to support his demands to end the ongoing threat from North Korea.  He told reporters in Seoul: "We are calling on all responsible nations, including Russia and China, to demand an end to the North Korea nuclear threat for peace.

It is time to act with urgency and great determination. North Korea is a worldwide threat that requires worldwide action."  .

Mr Trump's demands for China and Russia to work with the US come despite the Kremlin admitting Washington and Moscow do not co-operate on the deepening North Korea tensions.  The world is on the brink of World War 3 as North Korea continues to flex its military muscle with a stream of nuclear tests in direct threat to the US.  The US leader has previously said dialogue with President is vital to solving global issues, such as the Syrian War and threats by North Korea.

The two superpowers met for the first time during the G20 Summit earlier this year, where the pair are said to have shared positive chemistry.

The meeting, scheduled for 35 minutes, took more than 2 hours and focused heavily on a just-announced cease fire deal for south west Syria and the growing threat from the North. Relations between Moscow and Washington have soured further since, however.

President Trump in August grudgingly signed off on new sanctions against Russia, a move Moscow said ended hopes for better ties.  Mr Putin, dismayed by the sanctions, ordered Washington to more than halve its embassy and consular staff in Russia.

Donald Trump - Diễn văn tại căn cứ Yokota 4/11/2017 - Duration: 18:49.

Male Speaker: Okay everybody.

Mr. President, so I will tell you that you look great in that suit, but there's something

missing.

Could I please ask the Wing Commander of the biggest, baddest, meanest C-130 wing in the

Air Force, Colonel Bull Moss to come out here.

(Applause) The President: Should I put it on?

(Applause) (Applause) The President: I like this better.

(Applause) You can have my jacket.

Right?

Thank you.

Thank you, honey.

Thank you.

Oh, boy, that's something.

This is a great group of people.

Thank you very much, and General Martinez, everybody, for your devoted leadership of

our brave troops right here in Japan, and especially thank you -- especially, especially

-- to all of the incredible service members.

We're really here today, we're going to have a good time, and we're going to celebrate

your achievements.

So, I'll issue one of your favorite commands.

Are you ready?

At ease!

At ease!

Just sit back.

Now have a good time.

(Laughter) Just have a good time.

Melania and I also want to extend a special thanks to Ambassador Bill Hagerty, who's doing

an outstanding job.

He's an outstanding person.

I know him very well.

Believe me, you got one of the great ones.

He's leading our American embassy in Tokyo.

I'm honored to be here today in this beautiful country, home of the extraordinary people

of Japan.

Japan is a treasured partner and crucial ally of the United States.

And today we thank them for welcoming us and for decades of wonderful friendship between

our two nations.

Americans have deep respect and admiration for the people of Japan -- their amazing culture,

their strong spirit, and their very proud history.

So, on behalf of the United States of America, I send the warmest wishes of the American

people to the citizens of this remarkable country.

(Applause) Now I know how you guys feel.

This is pretty good.

(Laughter) Our travels across Asia will take us to many historic places to see many wonderful

sights, and to speak before many audiences.

But there is no single place I'd rather begin my trip than right here, with all of you -- the

incredible men and women of the United States military -- and your amazing partners, the

Japanese Self-Defense Forces.

Thank you for being here.

Thank you.

(Applause) To everyone here today who serves your country in uniform: Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

We salute you -- (laughter) -- what's your rank?

(Laughter) We're going to raise it.

(Applause) We salute you, we honor you, and we stand proudly with the men and women who

defend us and our way of life.

Nations are built from the courage, love, and sacrifice of patriots just like you.

Each of you inherits the proud legacy of generations of warriors that have walked these very grounds

for more than seven decades.

From Yokota's runways, American pilots took to the air and drove back the invaders during

the Korean War.

Tremendous courage.

Tremendous bravery.

From here, they enforced a precious peace during a long and bitter Cold War.

And in the aftermath of the devastating 2011 tsunami, this base served as the launching

point for Operation Tomodachi -- the largest humanitarian relief effort in American history,

which saved the lives of thousands and thousands of great Japanese citizens.

Like those who came before you, you always rise to the occasion, and you never, ever

let your country down.

General Martinez, General Chiarotti, General Pasquarette, Rear Admiral Fenton, Brigadier

General Winkler, Colonel Moss, and Chief Master Sergeant Greene: You lead the forces under

your command with exceptional skill and devotion, and America is tremendously grateful to you.

(Applause) We're also fortunate to stand alongside such strong and capable allies.

General Maehera, General Asai, General Imaki, and General Ando: Thank you for your leadership

and service.

Thank you.

Thank you very much.

(Applause) On behalf of the American people, I want each and every one of you, both American

and Japanese, to know that your service and commitment helps keep us all safe, strong,

and free.

I also want to express our gratitude to the family members and loved ones who sacrifice

so much to make your service possible.

They are absolutely incredible people, and it's not easy.

America is profoundly grateful for all you do.

And we are, back home, starting to do -- I will tell you, and you're reading and you're

seeing -- really, really well.

The stock market is at an all-time high.

(Applause) Unemployment, back in the United States, is at a 17-year low.

(Applause) Almost 2 million jobs have been added since a very, very special day; it's

called Election Day, November 8th.

Two million jobs.

(Applause) It's a lot of jobs.

And we've dealt ISIS one brutal defeat after another.

And it's about time.

(Applause) It's truly inspiring to see American airmen and Marines and -- (applause) -- you

know, I have a great Marine here: General Kelly, four-star.

Did anyone ever hear of General Kelly?

Where's General Kelly?

(Applause) He is something.

Now he's Chief of Staff.

But he does like those four stars, I want to tell you that.

(Laughter) But American airmen and the Marines and Japanese Self-Defense Forces that are

standing here with us today, side-by-side, confident, committed, and more capable than

ever.

You instill confidence in the hearts of our allies, and you strike fear in the hearts

of our enemies.

It's the way it should be, isn't it?

(Applause) Our alliance is a testament to the transformative power of freedom.

Today, nations that once waged war now stand together as friends and partners in pursuit

of a much better world.

And we're getting there.

We're getting there faster than you think.

With your presence here today, shoulder-to-shoulder, you put hope into every soul that yearns for

peace.

All of you have made Yokota one of the most capable operational bases in Japan and, actually,

anywhere in the world.

For over a decade, this incredible place has been home not only to American servicemembers,

but also to the Air Defense Command of the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force.

Today, this base serves as a critical center for coordination for American and Japanese

commanders to plan their missions.

For almost 60 years, the military alliance we see on this base has endured -- a cornerstone

of sovereignty, security, and prosperity for our nations, this region, and indeed the entire

world.

Today, we pay tribute to that legacy -- a legacy you protect and grow each and every

day.

We dominate the sky, we dominate the sea, we dominate the land and space -- (applause)

-- not merely because we have the best equipment, which we do -- and, by the way, a lot of it's

coming in; you saw that budget.

That's a lot different than in the past.

A lot of beautiful, brand new equipment is coming in.

And nobody makes it like they make it in the United States.

Nobody.

(Applause) Got a lot of stuff coming.

Use it well.

But because we have -- more important than equipment, we have the best people.

Each of you embodies the warrior creed.

Your devotion, prowess, and expertise make you the most fearsome fighting force in the

history of our world.

Together with our allies, America's warriors are prepared to defend our nation using the

full range of our unmatched capabilities.

No one -- no dictator, no regime, and no nation -- should underestimate, ever, American resolve.

Every once in a while, in the past, they underestimated us.

It was not pleasant for them, was it?

(Applause) It was not pleasant.

We will never yield, never waver, and never falter in defense of our people, our freedom,

and our great American flag.

(Applause) That flag stands for the values of our Republic, the history of our people,

the sacrifice of our heroes, and our loyalty to the nation we love.

As long as I am President, the servicemen and women who defend our nation will have

the equipment, the resources, and the funding they need to secure our homeland, to respond

to our enemies quickly and decisively, and, when necessary, to fight, to overpower, and

to always, always, always win.

Right?

(Applause) This is the heritage of the American Armed Forces -- the greatest force for peace

and justice the world has ever known.

Free nations must be strong nations, and we welcome it when our allies -- from Europe

to Asia -- renew their commitment to peace through strength.

We seek peace and stability for the nations of the world, including those right here in

this region.

And it's a great region.

As Americans celebrate Veterans Day this month, we honor all who have sacrificed to make peace

and stability possible.

We pay tribute to every proud American who has worn the uniform and served our country.

Today, many nations of the Indo-Pacific are thriving because of the sacrifices made by

American servicemembers and our allies, and because of the sacrifices all of you continue

to make each and every day.

Here in Japan, we have seen the amazing things that are possible when a people are free and

independent.

Over the course of a single lifetime, the Japanese people have built one of the most

successful societies and nations in the world.

Over the next 10 days, we travel to South Korea, China, Vietnam, and the Philippines.

We will seek new opportunities for cooperation and commerce, and we will partner with friends

and allies to pursue a free and open Indo-Pacific Region.

We will seek free, fair, and reciprocal trade.

But this future is only within our grasp because of you.

You make it possible for peace-loving nations to thrive and for peace-loving people to prosper.

You are the reason the great American flag will proudly stand behind me wherever I go.

And every time I look at that flag, I will think of brave men and women like you, and

I will think of all the American patriots, down through the generations, who poured out

their blood, sweat, tears, hopes, and dreams to defend our country.

When you follow your citizens and people across the Indo-Pacific region -- see the flags of

free and sovereign states, like the United States and Japan, displayed during our diplomatic

meetings over the next 10 days, be proud of your nation, be proud of your service, and

be proud of the security you provide that makes it all possible.

Like your predecessors, you -- our brave warriors -- are the last bulwark against threats to

the dreams of people in America and Japan, and all across the world.

You are the greatest hope for people who desire to live in freedom and harmony, and you are

the greatest threat to tyrants and dictators who seek to prey on the innocent.

History has proven over and over that the road of the tyrant is a steady march toward

poverty, suffering, and servitude.

But the path of strong nations and free people, certain of their values and confident in their

futures, is a proven path toward prosperity and peace.

We cherish our cultures, we embrace our values, and we always fight for what we believe in.

Because of you, the people of America, the people of Japan, and the freedom-loving people

everywhere are able to fulfill their destinies and follow their dreams.

And we are grateful for your families, for their sacrifice and support that allows our

brave men and women to serve.

We also appreciate the sacrifice of dedicated civilians who keep this base going and take

care of our military and their precious loved ones.

We are eternally grateful for your service and for your sacrifice.

And we are forever in your debt.

I am so proud to be here with you today.

We face many challenges and many opportunities, and we will face all of them together as a

team.

And if we do, I am certain that the future for America, for Japan, and for our cherished

allies has never, ever looked brighter.

Because of patriots like you, freedom will prevail.

Thank you.

God bless you.

God bless the Armed Forces.

And God bless the United States of America.

Thank you.

Thank you all.

(Applause) Thank you.

PARTY'S OVER Shocking New Poll Reveals The End For Dems And PROVES America Follows Trump - Duration: 3:21.

PARTYS OVER: Shocking New Poll Reveals The End For Dems And PROVES America Follows

Trump.

By Alex Santana.

You can only hide the truth for so long.

You can dress it up, disguise it, or even manipulate the content completely, but eventually

people find their way to the facts.

Even in the absence of evidence, Americans have a keen intuition when it comes to deception,

and the lefts classic tricks have now grown painfully stale.

According to a poll released Tuesday, the Democratic Party has dropped to the lowest

approval rating in more than twenty-five years of polling.

The report shows over 54% of Americans are furious with the Dems, matching the lowest

numbers from polls by CNN/ORC and CNN/USA Today/Gallup dating back to 1992.

In addition, only 37% of Americans view the Democratic Party favorably.

This includes nonwhites, who only gave a 48% positive rating, and people under 35, who

gave an even lower rating of 33%.

This is crippling news for the DNC, who rely heavily on both these constituent groups.

The numbers only add to former interim Democratic National Committee chairwoman Donna Braziles

reasons for blaming the partys financial problems on former President Barack Obama.

Brazile also wrote in a Thursday column on Politico that Obama wasnt alone, pointing

the finger at Dem Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

Brazile lambasted the two for forfeiting complete control of the party to Hillary Clintons

presidential campaign over a year before Clinton had even secured the nomination.

If the fight had been fair, one campaign would not have control of the party before

the voters had decided which one they wanted to lead, Brazile wrote Thursday.

This was not a criminal act, but as I saw it, it compromised the partys integrity.

This kind of betrayal and infighting is exactly why the Dems are done for.

While President Trump maintains his mission for safety and success, the swamp is fighting

over who will sink first.

When you have a leader who inspires faith and courage, it becomes much easier to do

the right thing.

Americans did exactly that with these incredible poll results.

If citizens continue to band together for the greater good, President Trump will have

everything he needs to succeed.

If youre proud to be an American today, SHARE this incredible victory with

the world!

President Moon reaffirms S. Korea-U.S. alliance during state dinner for Trump - Duration: 2:38.

During the grand state dinner for President Trump,... the two leaders reaffirmed their

countries' ironclad alliance.

The other attendees -- a mix of Korean and American VIPs from the business world -- saw

the banquet as a golden opportunity to resolve issues surrounding the trade-related differences

between the two countries.

Kim Ji-yeon reports.

At the grand state dinner held at the Blue House late Tuesday,...

President Moon Jae-in reaffirmed the strength of the South Korea-U.S. alliance.

He stressed that the two sides will stand firm against North Korea's provocations and

work to bring Pyongyang back to talks on its denuclearization.

President Moon said the alliance will ensure peace and prosperity in Northeast Asia,...

adding that the history of war on the peninsula should never be repeated.

(Korean) "The peace that was fought for with blood

from Korea and America is again being threatened, but the strength of the South Korea-U.S. alliance

is preventing that threat growing."

( , .)

President Trump responded by saying that the alliance, which has grown stronger by withstanding

hardships together, is built on a foundation of great friendship.

(English) "We have been proud to stand by your side

for many decades as an unwavering friend and loyal ally.

And you have never had a time where this ally has been more loyal or stood by your side

more than right now."

The state dinner was also a who's-who of Korea's business elite.

Among those enjoying the evening were SK Group Chair, Chey Tae-won , Hanwha Group Chair Kim

Seung-youn , Hanjin Group patriarch Cho Yang-ho , Vice chair of LG Group, Koo Bon-joon and

Samsung Electronics chief executive Yoon Boo-keun .

They made up some 120 economic and cultural figures that attended Tuesday's dinner at

the traditional hanok reception hall within the Blue House.

From the U.S. side, the VIPs included James Kim, Chair of the American Chamber of Commerce

in Korea and U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, who sat at the same table as Chung

Eui-sun , Vice Chair of Korea's largest automaker Hyundai Motor Group.

The seating arrangement served as an opportunity to exchange views and pave the way for the

two sides to resolve contentious issues related to the amendment of the South Korea-U.S. free

trade agreement,... as well as tougher U.S. regulations, including anti-dumping measures

imposed on Korean automobile and steel exports.

President Trump To Unleash Executive Order On Congress — Paul Ryan Is Scrambling - Duration: 3:20.

Obamacare is falling apart as we watch.

So poorly written and ill-conceived was the legislation that it began to deteriorate even

before the president for which it was named left office.

No wonder then House Speaker Pelosi insisted on passing this fiasco-in-waiting with all

dispatch.

What is somewhat amusing is that this is a Democrats' mess that even the Democrats

could not fix.

Unfortunately, Republican leadership in Congress has not done much better.

At least they have not made matters worse, but they clearly failed to "repeal and replace"

the legislation when given the chance.

This is especially inexcusable in that they had the time to have suitable legislation

ready to go.

It's not like the initiative to give Obamacare the deep-six should have come as a surprise.

President Trump is not the Congress, but he does have considerable leeway when it comes

to signing executive orders to accomplish at least part of what Republican leaders in

Congress have failed to do, that being the dismantling of Obamacare.

He now is reported to have an executive order ready to go to end the hated "individual

mandate."

We shall see if Republican leaders such as Speaker Paul Ryan can get this job done via

the tax bill.

If he fails, President Trump will be ready.

"The Trump administration has prepared an executive order that would unravel Obamacare's

individual mandate, but has put it on hold to see whether repealing the penalties for

going uninsured might be included in the Republican tax bill instead, a GOP senator told the Washington

Examiner.

President Trump decided to delay the executive order after Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., pushed

for the inclusion of the individual mandate repeal in the tax bill, and has been supportive

of its inclusion in statements he has made on Twitter.

"After initially declining to comment on the senator's statements, a White House

official pushed back on the claims, saying the administration's position is that Congress

should resolve the issue.

"'Pursuant to the President's January EO on Obamacare, we are always looking for

ways to provide relief from Obamacare,' the White House official said.

'The long-standing issues with the mandate would be best resolved legislatively.'"

This is obviously Congress' job.

Republicans were elected on a platform that included the repeal and replacement of Obamacare.

That Republican leadership has failed to get this done is a testimony to either their incompetence

or their disloyalty to those who elected them.

In either case, failure is unacceptable, and if that happens, they are without excuse.

In other words, if Ryan and McConnell cannot get this provision eliminating the Obamacare

individual mandate into a tax bill that passes both houses of Congress, they should both

resign and let others take over.

It is disgraceful for President Trump to have to carry the water for the so-called Republican

Congressional leadership.

There are these things called Republican primaries.

If Republicans in Congress turn out to be the RINOs of which they are suspected, Republican

voters need to solve the problem at their next opportunity.

North Korea CUT OFF TV as Trump delivers renewed threats to Kim Jong-un in Seoul speech - Duration: 4:29.

North Korea CUT OFF TV as Trump delivers renewed threats to Kim Jong-un in Seoul speech

The photos of Pyongyang television show a blank screen, highlighting the control that despot leader Kim Jong-un has over the hermit kingdom. During his imminent speech, Trump is set to issue warnings to North Korea.

He is expected to say: Do not underestimate us. "And do not try us.. The aggressive rhetoric from the President is the latest attack in a word war between Trump and Kim Jong-un.

A British diplomat recently claimed that the US is "looking at a whole range of military options" with North Korea as tensions rise on the country's peninsula.

Tim Willasey-Wilsey, a former ambassador that worked with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office for over 27 years, has stated that whether through diplomatic or military efforts, the US will do everything to prevent despot leader Kim Jong-un from gaining nuclear capabilities.

He said: "There are now three United States carrier strike forces operating in the Pacific for the first time since 2007. The USS Nimitz, USS Ronald Reagan and USS Theodore Roosevelt represent tangible evidence of American military power.

"General Joseph Dunford has described their presence as 'coincidental', but of one thing we can be sure: far from being a matter of chance, the deployment will have been carefully considered in Washington.

"In all likelihood, these ships are already equipped with the military capabilities required to support action against North Korea – in particular, the cruise missiles carried by the escort vessels.

"For now, the focus is on diplomacy. That is why Donald Trump is touring Asia this week, rattling his sabre during a visit to Japan and soon set to visit Beijing too.

"In that context, the presence of the carriers is doubtless intended to reinforce the message to China that the United States cannot tolerate a nuclear-armed North Korea." The former diplomat inferred that the key to dealing with the rogue nation without the use of military action lies with persuading China to increase its stranglehold on the hermit kingdom through sanctions.

However, despite Beijing's seeming compliance surrounding the rogue nation, Mr Willasey-Wilsey believes the increased pressure on Kim Jong-un's isolationist state may be too little too late.

He stated: "Yet there will be scepticism in both Beijing and Washington whether Chinese sanctions can deliver a compliant North Korea in an acceptable timeframe.

"It will be difficult for China to bring the Kim regime to heel –even with the United States willing to provide assurances, both to Pyongyang and Beijing, that Washington would recognise a non-nuclear North Korea and that the US has no territorial ambitions on the Korean peninsula.

"So the carrier strike forces have another purpose in case all of this fails. That purpose is, obviously, a military one.

"In anticipation of the failure of Chinese diplomatic and economic pressure, the Pentagon will have been looking at the whole range of military options. "None of them is attractive and all of them are risky.".
