'Time is running out!' President Trump says North Korea crisis requires 'URGENT ACTION'

Speaking at the White House, the President hailed his trip to Asia and said it allowed the US to achieve a number of key goals.

He said trip had allowed him to unite the world against the nuclear menace posed by the North Korean regime - a threat that has increased steadily through many administrations and now requires urgent action.  As he gave details about his discussions with world leaders, Trump said spoke with Xi Jinping and convinced the Chinese leader to back UN sanctions on Pyongyang.

He reiterated that "all options remain on the table" as he warned "time is running out".

Trump said the US and its allies will not allow the "twisted dictatorship" in North Korea to hold the world hostage.  He said the world saw a strong, powerful and confident America" during his trip to the region, where he met with a host of world leaders including Chinese leader Xi Jinping, Russian president Vladimir Putin and South Korean leader Moon Jae-in.

He added that his recent trip has also opened up new trade opportunities for the US and proved a big step in his plan to "whittle down" the country's sizeable trade deficit.

He told reporters: "The days of the United States being taken advantage of are over." President Trumps warning to North Korea is the latest in a series of threats and insults with Kim Jong-un.

On Sunday, the President reacted to reports that Kim Jong-un had described him as old.

He tweeted: Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me old, when I would NEVER call him short and fat? Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend - and maybe someday that will happen!  .

This was followed by North Korea accusing Donald Trump of declaring war on the hermit kingdom after the US President berated Kim Jong-un's authoritarian dictatorship.

In a tirade published through state propaganda mouthpiece Rodong Sinmun, Kim's regime took aim at a speech Trump made to his South Korean allies.

The statement said: "Trump astounded the international community by ridiculously distorting and manipulating the reality of our Republic and ripping out all kinds of curse against us for whopping 22 minutes in his 35-minute speech at the puppet National Assembly in Seoul." Describing the US President as a "cockroach" and "bacteria", the newspaper added: "We deem Trumps slanders as a declaration of war to overthrow our regime.".

After Trump Frees Basketball Players from 10Yr Chinese Prison Sentence, Look What Racist NBA Did - Duration: 4:52.

24Hrs After Trump Frees Basketball Players from 10Yr Chinese Prison Sentence, Look What

Racist NBA Did.

President Donald Trump has just returned home from a very lengthy and successful trip to

Asia where he accomplished a lot, including one monumental task that nobody was expecting.

Proving that he's the master of the deal and concerned for every American, regardless

of skin color or if they voted for him, he went out of his way to get three UCLA basketball

players released from Chinese "house arrest" after they were accused of shoplifting sunglasses

and faced a 10 year prison sentence for it.

This is something his predecessor never attempted for any American captive and wouldn't be

able to accomplish if he had bothered to try.

It's no secret that many professional sports players are not Trump fans but that hasn't

stopped the president from being the leader he promised he would be for the American people.

No matter how many leftists and athletes trash him, call him racist, and make other disparaging

remarks about him, he'll still show up and save who or what needs to be saved, proving

them wrong every time regardless of whether they acknowledge it or not.

Every American clearly matters to Trump more than they did to Barack Hussein Obama, who

left North Korean captive Otto Warmbier to die days after being released from captivity,

the Guardian reported.

In a sharp contrast from Trump's treatment of three American college kids imprisoned

overseas, Warmbier, also an American student, was only released once he had reached a vegetative

state and was near death.

He was unfortunate to be held on Obama's watch who forgot about him or simply couldn't

be bothered, which led to him being beaten into a coma.

Sick of caring for him in this condition and not wanting to claim responsibility for Warmier's

physical state, North Korea finally released him – no thanks to anything Obama did who

stood by while this student was abused to death.

It's refreshing to have a Commander-in-Chief who cares and would never allow that to happen

to any American, as he just proved.

His actions of negotiating the release of these college basketball players proved his

character as a leader.

As UCLA teammates Jalen Hill, Cody Riley, and LiAngelo Ball were on their way back to

the U.S. just an hour or so after Trump worked the deal of their lifetime, their professional

basketball counterparts were playing an NBA game and had an interesting way of "thanking"

Trump for what these three players.

NBA star for the Boston Celtics, Kyrie Irving, has been an outspoken professional basketball

player for the protests he's seen happen in the National Football League.

He made a lengthy statement on the matter in September, supporting players' message

in kneeling and their right to do that, according to his statements published by MassLive.

However, after seeing what Trump did for these UCLA players, he showed up with a surprise

on the court Tuesday night, at his game against the New Jersey Nets, and took the whole arena

by complete surprise.

Sports Illustrated reports:

A masked Kyrie Irving returned to the court Tuesday night to help the Celtics beat the

Nets 109-102, giving Boston its thirteenth straight victory after an 0-2 start.

After this latest victory, Kyrie Irving found two women in uniform who serve in the military

and gave one his game-worn jersey and the other his shoes.

As you'd might expect, they were really pumped.

It's impossible to not smile after you see and hear the genuine joy in their voices.

Veterans Day may have been Saturday, but every day is a good day to show active military

personnel and veterans love.

It's a pretty spectacular move in what's been a fairly racist league that almost took

after the NFL, but this shows genuine appreciation for those who serve our country.

In a silent sort of way, it shows a little love for our president who wants to see these

sports stars respect our military members, both past and current.

Most sports stars who still protest today, despite the overwhelming damage it has done

to their industry, are not doing it out of the original principle of bringing attention

to injustices – they are doing it just to spite our president who is outspoken on the

matter, especially after Tweeting that anyone who kneels should be fired.

Trump is already making a major difference in this country that Obama never could, since

he's leading by example to bring about the change and unity he wants to see in this country.

As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. famously said, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only

light can do that.

Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

This is what Irving did when he brought love and appreciation to Service Members on the

court and set an example of what making a real difference looks like.

If you want change, be the change without disrespecting people, our military, and our

country in trying to achieve it.

Donald Trump: The REAL reason I didn't shake hands with Angela Merkel - Duration: 2:59.

Donald Trump: The REAL reason I didn't shake hands with Angela Merkel

The US President explained the truth behind an apparent frosty first meeting with Mrs Merkel in the White House, when it appeared the pair refused to shake hands.

The two leaders appeared before the cameras in July after holding a bilateral meeting in the Oval Office where they talked about strengthening Nato, fighting ISIS and resolving Ukraine's conflict with Russia.

At the time it was viewed as a snub but Mr Trump has now revealed it was all down to a misunderstanding.

He said: "I had been standing with her for quite a while and then someone started shouting: 'shake her hand, shake her hand' but I did not hear that.  "It was then made into a big deal.

"I'm getting along really well with Angela." The non-handshake was raised during Mr Trump's tour to Asia when he accused the media of failing to report on his good relationship with other heads of state and government.   .

He was asked by reporters if he had a particularly good relationship with totalitarian or authoritarian leaders after successful meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Philippines hardman Rodrigo Duterte.  He said: "I have a great relationship with each of the leaders who were present at the ASEAN Summit." Handshakes also hit the headlines at the talks in Manila in the Philiipines as leaders took part in a traditional greeting to open the summit.

Standing alongside other leaders – Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, among others – Mr Trump and his counterparts crossed arms before linking hands with one another.

Photos from the meeting show Mr Trump grimacing, wrestling and laughing alongside his counterparts also taking part. The US President appeared befuddled by the master of ceremonies request to begin the "traditional" handshake.

The MC said: "Give us your brightest smile. It's the ASEAN handshake: right hand over left." Russian Prime Minister Mr Medvedev, however, was less than convinced by the event, refusing to cross his arms when linking hands.

Reporter's Sure Foreign Students Will Trash Trump, Gets Surprise of His Life Instead - TODAY NEWS - Duration: 4:04.

President Donald Trump's trip to Asia got mixed reviews at best from the media at home.

However, that's surprisingly not the reality when it comes to how he was viewed overseas.

In fact, Business Insider reports that "(w)hile no comprehensive survey has been done to assess

the size and intensity of Trump's popularity in China, several pundits suggest he has broad

and vocal support," partially because he's successful and doesn't care about political

correctness.

"Chinese people are impressed that he is extremely rich, he loves things splendid and

magnificent, and he loves to show off.

Not every billionaire is like that," said Yin Hao, a blogger who translates American

news and comedy into Chinese for his social media followers.

"They will keep posting comments to defend Trump, mock his opponents under all news clips

that involve Trump, and rebuke any comments that are not in favor of Trump."

Perhaps not surprisingly, Trump has similar support in other areas of Asia.

One ABC News reporter found this out the hard way when he interviewed a group of Vietnamese

students about the president, probably expecting invective.

Instead, he got this, which was posted on ABC News' Facebook last week:

The interview was conducted by Jonathan Karl, a fairly respected journalist at the alphabet

network who I'm going to guess committed some horrible faux pas at the ABC News Halloween

party to earn this assignment.

Karl asked the young Vietnamese students what they thought of the president.

"Cute!

He is cute!" said the first one.

"You think he's cute?"

Karl responds, visibly surprised.

"That's the first — that's a first one for me, OK."

"He is very good at business," another response goes.

"Very good at business?"

a somewhat dubious Karl responds.

"Yes, and his family is wonderful," the student responds.

"He is very powerful," another answers.

So, Karl tries to change the subject: "President Trump and President Obama, very different,

right?"

"Yes, very different, but we're always friendly and always welcoming," one student

responds.

When she says she likes both, Karl says, "There's not a lot of people in America that like both

Barack Obama and Donald Trump."

The student replies that while she "admired" Obama and didn't like Trump at first, "now

I think he's very cute and yes, I like him."

Karl says he finds that it's "the only place he's gone" where people like both

the former and current president.

I will say that is entirely plausible given the fact that a) they're incredibly different

and b) Jonathan Karl isn't too often whisked outside of the Washington bubble by either

the Acela or shuttle out of Reagan National.

But I digress, at least on the last point.

However, the one thing we can take away from Karl's report is the fact that the image

we've been presented in terms of how Trump is viewed abroad — as a kind of corporeal

riff on the ugly American — doesn't actually seem to hold true, at least not in Asia.

And keep in mind, this happened in Vietnam.

Unless you are a Common Core millennial, you may have heard about some PR issues we've

had there in the past half-century or so.

This is a man who gave a speech outlining an "America First" strategy in a country

that was not too long ago being carpet-bombed by America.

And the students are cool with that.

Perhaps Karl's genuine surprise is that, somewhere in the world, people can like both

Obama and Trump.

Or, perhaps it's something to do with an amazement at visiting a place outside of the

aforementioned bubble where people don't believe the same things he does.

Either way, it's an interesting case study in just how wrong media assumptions about

Trump can be.

President's chief of staff: Donald Trump helped UCLA 'knuckleheads' | MK Today - Duration: 2:44.

President's chief of staff: Donald Trump helped UCLA 'knuckleheads'.

President Donald Trump asked on Twitter whether the three UCLA basketball players released

from detention in China on Tuesday will thank him for his help.

UCLA freshmen LiAngelo Ball, Cody Riley and Jalen Hill, who had been detained in China

for the past week on suspicion of shoplifting, landed in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening and

boarded a van to return to campus.

Trump, who returned late Tuesday from a trip through Asia, said he raised their case with

President Xi Jinping of China during a visit to Beijing last week.

The players were questioned last week about allegedly stealing sunglasses from a Louis

Vuitton store next to the team's hotel in Hangzhou, where the Bruins had been staying

before leaving for Shanghai to face Georgia Tech on Friday.

They were released on bail early Nov. 8 and had been staying at a lakeside hotel in Hangzhou

prior to flying home.

"Our president said to Xi, 'Do you know anything about these knuckleheads that got caught allegedly

stealing?'"

John Kelly, the president's chief of staff, told The New York Times.

"The president was saying, 'It's not too serious.

We'd love to see this taken care of in an expeditious way.'"

A source told ESPN's Arash Markazi that there is surveillance footage of the players shoplifting

from three stores inside a high-end shopping center, which houses Louis Vuitton, Gucci,

Yves Saint Laurent and Salvatore Ferragamo stores.

It's not yet clear what the players were charged with or what penalty they faced in China,

but Kelly said a felony conviction related to the value of the items that they allegedly

took could have resulted in a prison sentence of five to 10 years.

Kelly told the Times that he talked to UCLA associate athletic director Chris Carlson

in person and to the players by phone while in China, and he told them that President

Trump had put in a word to help them.

"To say the least, they were very apologetic," Kelly told the Times.

"They were just profuse in their apologies for embarrassing the country and embarrassing

the team.

...

"I bet they learned a lesson in their lives."

UCLA chancellor Gene D. Block, while saying he was "grateful" the players were headed

home, issued a statement Tuesday saying the school will look into the matter and decide

what action will be taken.

Ball, Riley, Hill, UCLA coach Steve Alford and Bruins athletic director Dan Guerrero

will hold a news conference Wednesday.

Pac-12 conference commissioner Larry Scott also thanked Trump, the White House and the

State Department for their efforts.

Donald Trump: Dems Introduce Articles Of Impeachment For 'Security Risk' Pres & Voters Applaud

Democrats have had enough of President Donald Trump. After accusing him of violating the Constitution and putting the country at risk, six Dems moved to impeach him Trump, leaving some voters thrilled!.

We believe that President [Donald] Trump has violated the Constitution, and we've introduced five articles of impeachment," Rep. Steve Cohen, a Democrat from Tennessee, said at a Nov.

15 press conference announcing his decision to impeach the 45th president of the United States. Five other Democratic representatives — Reps.

Luis Gutierrez of Illinois, Al Green of Texas, Marcia Fudge of Ohio, Adriano Espaillat of New York and John Yarmuth of Kentucky – also signed onto this resolution. As to why Steve thinks Trump should be impeached, he listed out the five reasons he thinks the country is at a security risk with Donald in the White House.

The first is obstruction of justice, which deals with Mr [James] Comey's firing," Steve said, per Us Weekly.

"The second is a violation of the Constitution's Foreign Emoluments Clause, which deals with money he has taken from foreign powers without the consent of Congress.

The third is a violation of the Domestic Emoluments Clause, which deals with money he's made from the United States in his personal businesses, beyond that of his personal salary, which is also forbidden by our Constitution..

The fourth is undermining our federal judiciary and the fifth is undermining freedom of the press," continued Steve.

"These are aggressive actions he's taken over a period of time against the press and against the judiciary with positive actions to cap off a series, a pattern, of behavior of belittling and questioning these institutions that are so important for our democracy.".

Voters' reactions were mixed.

While many anti-Trump fans were happy to see the Democrats try to impeach him, others seemed to think this move was a bit "premature." Others were happy to say "Hallelujah thank Dems about damn time somebody introduced articles of impeachment against this moron.".

We have taken this action because of great concerns for the country and our Constitution and our national security and our democracy, he said, per Bloomberg.

He also added that though these are severe accusations, he doesn't expect the House of Representatives – currently controlled by the Republicans – to allow hearings on the impeachment articles. However, these accusations weren't just for show.

I think the Democratic base needs to be activated. The Democratic base needs to know there are members of Congress willing to stand up against this president, he added.

What do you think about these six Dems introducing articles to impeach Trump, HollywoodLifers? Do you think it was the right move? Do you think it was too early, or that the Dems were acting a bit desperate?.

'Get ready for WAR' North Korea accuse 'Lunatic cockroach Trump' of declaring start of WW3 - Duration: 3:29.

'Get ready for WAR' North Korea accuse 'Lunatic cockroach Trump' of declaring start of WW3

Mr Trump refused to hold back from threatening the despot during his tour of several Asian nations despite being within firing range of Kim's deadly missiles.

He even branded the tyrant "short and fat" in a personal attack on Pyongyang's supreme leader despite the ever-growing fear may break out on the peninsula.

Now has claimed it considers the President's words a declaration of war after depicting Kim as a "tyrant" and a "brutal dictator".

In a tirade published through state propaganda mouthpiece Rodong Sinmun, the hermit kingdom took aim at a speech Trump made to his South Korean allies.

The statement said: "Trump astounded the international community by ridiculously distorting and manipulating the reality of our Republic and ripping out all kinds of curse against us for whopping 22 minutes in his 35-minute speech at the puppet National Assembly in Seoul." Describing the President as a "cockroach" and "bacteria", the rag added: "We deem Trumps slanders as a declaration of war to overthrow our regime." The furious response to Trump's campaign to stop the North Korean tyrant was titled We Punish Crimes Committed by Lunatic President.

It follows a chilling threat to the US President from the DPRK, who warned Mr Trump he could be "sentenced to death".

The depraved regime branded the firebrand Republican a "hideous criminal" after he insulted North Korea's crackpot despot Kim Jong-un during his five-nation Asia tour.

Pyongyang's mouthpiece, Rodong Sinmun, said: "The worst crime for which he can never be pardoned is that he dared to malignantly hurt the dignity of the supreme leadership.

"He should know that he is just a hideous criminal sentenced to death by the Korean people.

Rodong Sinmun, newspaper of the North Korea's Workers Party, also poked fun at President Trump who failed to visit the heavily fortified demilitarised zone (DMZ).  Helicopters carrying the US President and an entourage of staff, media, and security forces were forced to turn back just minutes from the DMZ because of fog and mist, thwarting a plan that had been in the works since before the president left on his trip through Asia.

But the media puppet said: It wasnt the weather. He was just too scared to face the glaring eyes of our troops..

South Korea desperate for Donald Trump warning AHEAD of strike on North Korea - DAILY NEWS - Duration: 3:17.

DONALD Trump has been warned he should "under no circumstances" take military action against

North Korea, as South Korea tries to prevent World War 3.

Choo Mi-ae, who is Chairwoman of South Korea's ruling party, warned that the US President

must consult with her government in Seoul before any military action was taken against

their unruly neighbours.

Speaking in Washington DC Ms Choo said that "a peaceful resolution" must continue

to be sought.

She said: "President Trump often emphasises that he put all options on the table.

"We want to make sure that this option of another war is not placed on the table.

There are fears that if the US was to use its military force on North Korea, the corrupt

regime may retaliate with an attack on the South.

Reinforcing her point Ms Choo added: "Under no circumstances should the US go ahead and

use a military option without the consent of South Korea."

Mr Trump visited South Korea earlier this month as part of a two week long tour of Asia.

Addressing South Korea's National Assembly last Wednesday Mr Trump insisted that the

US would "not be intimidated" by Kim Jong-un's rhetoric and called for other countries to

respond to the "twisted regimes" threats with a sign of military force.

He also warned the "three largest aircraft carriers in the world are appropriately positioned"

to face Pyongyang.

Prior to his intervention in South Korea, Mr Trump had previously suggested he was ready

to use the US military to attack the rogue country.

At the start of last month, he said his Secretary of State's efforts to negotiate with North

Korea were a waste of time.

On Twitter, he said: "I told Rex Tillerson, our wonderful Secretary of State, that he

is wasting his time trying to negotiate with Little Rocket Man...

"…Save your energy Rex, we'll do what has to be done!

"Being nice to Rocket Man hasn't worked in 25 years, why would it work now?

Clinton failed, Bush failed, and Obama failed.

I won't fail."

During last week's trip to Asia, the US president also met with the Chinese President

Xi Jinping.

He called on the Beijing leader to do more to stop North Korea.

However, upon his return to Washington Mr Trump said he would not advocate a plan which

would see the US and North Korea both agree to stop conducting major military exercises

in the area.

He said: "We agreed that we would not accept a so-called 'freeze for freeze' agreement

like those that have consistently failed in the past."
