• When you see a pencil to the right of People in the info of a photo, you can add the photo to the correct group. 
• If not you can only select the photo > tap 3-dots > Remove results and wait and see whether it is added to the correct group. As an alternative you can create your own album for that pet.

Hello Trà Phạm,

 

Google Photos does not delete photos automatically.  Perhaps you have Storage manager active at Android settings; Storage; Internal storage. Or a file management app which comes with your device.

 

Sorry there is nothing Google can do to restore deleted photos if they are not in the trash or at https://photos.google.com/

However, without a doubt, do not rely on something as important as your wedding photos only being stored in one location.. Definitely have online and offline copies.

 

It is always a good idea to store important images in more than one place / tool.  My photos are in Google Photos, on my laptop, and on multiple external disk drives (not connected to any computer or network).
