I have other Google apps on my iPhone so I can't remove my Google account from Google Photos as I get a tutorial saying it will be removed from all apps on the iPhone.

I'd like to let you know that, when you uninstall Google Photos app from your device, it will not delete photos and videos from iCloud. However, if you happen to delete photos from Google Photos, they will be deleted from:

• photos.google.com and any synced devices
• Google Photos albums
• Google Photos movies when you edit them. Learn more about deleted photos in movies.
• Google Drive, for photos and videos that are synced with Google Drive. Learn how Google Drive works with Google Photos.
• Any shared albums you may have added them to.

You may also visit this help article for information on how to Delete photos and videos.

1. Turn off Backup & Sync in the Google Photos app.

2. Uninstall the Google Photos app. 

3. Delete all photos from photos.google.com (I don't want to keep them).

At this point my photos should still be in iCloud and all devices connected to iCloud.

No, if you delete photos and videos from Google Photos app, it will also be deleted from iCloud and all devices connected to iCloud.

Unless you already have backup copies somewhere else, I'd recommend to plug your iPhone to a computer and make a second backup before proceeding with the deletion from Google Photos.

Nadia, actually, that was not the case. I made sure I had a backup of everything in my Photos Library, turned off Backup & Sync in the GP app, then deleted the photos. Then I deleted the GP app from my iPhone. Next, I deleted all the photos in photos.google.com and signed out of it. At this point, all my photos remained in iCloud.

Please know that, if you delete photos from the Google Photos app, you will get a pop-up window that says "This photo will be deleted from iCloud Photo Library from all your devices". Hence, deleting it from iCloud Photo Library. However, if you try deleting photos from photos.google.com, it says "Remove from Google account, Google Drive, Synced devices and places its shared\

Welcome to the Google photo Help Community.

To to do this:

1. On your Android device, open the Google Photos app .
   
2. Click on a photo to open it (ideally the first one).
3. At the top right, click More .
   
4. Select 'Slideshow' from the overflow menu (see attached image).
5. The slideshow itself plays each image for around 5 seconds before seamlessly transitioning in to the next image. The slideshow also loops back to go through images again once it reaches the end.

On the other hand it happens that photos are blurred when viewing, but that should disappear after a short time.

Thanks for the reply. I ended up clearing cache and storage and restarted phone and it cleared up the issues. It seems like a common issue. After taking the photo it would "process" the photo and it would become blurry. Now it's saving them clear.
