Like I said I made a short video of what it's like to be impotent and shortly after I decided to delete it. It found it's way to the trash bucket and I went in behind to totally get rid of it when I got there I could not find a trace of it. Almost as if it vanished. But I have a hard time believing that it could of just disappeared and I have been looking for someone else that could maybe shed some light on the situation. Like, I am not in any kind of trouble for a video that I have made but I wasn't intending for it to be God knows where and doing God knows what? If it were left up to me I would have made it history about an hour ago. Is it ok for Google employees to just do what they want and to just take what they want? I have been under the suspicion that me and my internet activity could have quite possibly got someones attention worthy of some observation. So, please if you can be as so kind and give me your best take of what has taken place with me and my short video of something very unfortunate, I will be extremely greatful. Thanks.

Not necessarily an issue Jen. Your Mom has benefitted from years of free Google Storage which is no longer available.

My children have created a Google photo album each in their Google account in order to share pictures of their children and to allow grandparents to upload photos too. When I upload photos to their album, I would expect the photo to be stored in the account of the album orner. But now I am not avle to upload more pictures due to limited storage (15 gb).
Why?
What happens if I delete pictures from my Google Photo folder named 'Pictures'. Will the photos remain in the album, or are ghey going to be deleted from the respektive albums?

Hello Inge,
 
When you add a photo to a shared album you are just adding a link to your own copy so the photo must remain in your library. Deleting from 'Pictures' will remove the link from the album effectively deleting it. The owner has a choice of adding the photo to their own 'Pictures' but would need to upload a copy to their album after you had deleted the original.
 
For ways of reducing the storage in your account please see below.
 
Storage will only decrease if Original size photos, Storage Saver photos, or unsupported videos are deleted.
 
It may be possible to Recover storage at https://photos.google.com/settings  which compresses and replaces Original size with Storage Saver size. 
 
Head over to https://photos.google.com/quotamanagement  This should give a clue on where the storage is being used. Large photos and videos >5MB are listed and can be reviewed by tapping on the thumbnail to open then select the (i)nfo icon to see more detail about the files.
 
If you delete 1000s of High Quality photos uploaded prior to June 2021 then no storage will be recovered because they do not use any storage.
 
All photos added after June 1st 2021 can be found at https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_ and all use storage unless added as part of Partner sharing.

The safest way to delete from the wrong account is to remove the account from the device and delete the photos at https://photos.google.com/  or in bulk at https://photos.google.com/search/_tra_ where they are sorted by upload date.

Hi Jasmeen,

Did you check for the deleted photos in Trash? If you deleted longer than 60 days ago, the photos will no longer be in Trash at Google Photos.

You could also see if Google Drive has the photos in Trash.

At https://photos.google.com, when you delete an Album, you will see this message: "Deleting an album is permanent. Photos and videos that were in a deleted album remain part of your Photos library.

You won't be able to get back the deleted Album. However, the edited photos should still appear in your Photos library.
