1) What do you mean when you state that you've updated Google Photos? Do you mean a newer version of the app?

2) What do you mean when you state that the dates were changed? Which dates where were changed?

@Poojitha, could you please confirm if you're trying to find your photos from Google Photos? If yes, I recommend finding them through the web version of Google Photos.

If not, I recommend checking the below options to find them:

• Blogger
  
• YouTube
  
• Gmail
  
• Google+

If you don't find them, I recommend looking for the photos using the below links:

• drive.google.com (under Google Photos)
  
• get.google.com/albumarchive
  
• other online photo or file storage services you use (e.g. Dropbox, OneDrive, iCloud).

Regretfully, the video player in Google Photos doesn't offer any feature to adjust the speed of the video.
You will have to look for some proprietary video player like VLC.

To delete a photo from the device only, there are a number of options.

1. Delete the photo from the Apple Photos app
   • First check the photos are backed up to https://photos.google.com/
2. Open the photo full screen and tap the 3 dot menu to choose Delete from device
   • You can also select multiple photos from the Photos tab and do the same
3. Use the command to Free up space

These options will put the photos in the Apple Photos Recently Deleted folder where they will stay for 30 days or until you manually delete them.

 

Always check that photos are still visible in the app before emptying the Apple Recently deleted album

Google photos prevent exact duplicates it might be different in some way like time frame shot etc if you can just compare the about info about this. 

 

If You need to delete it manually there is no feature that can delete all the duplicates, you can try a desktop website which will be easier to narrow down the photos tiles, and select all the duplicates and delete.
