It doesn't help. Tried reinstalling it also from the play store. It takes a lot of time to delete a single picture, so forget batch delete. It took more than 2 hrs to delete 300 pictures whose size were 4-5mb per picture. In the end it did not delete also. Had to close the app and those pictures were still there. Kindly help

I am facing the same issue on my Nokia 8.1 as well.

Google Photos updated form Play store.

Tried clearing the cache/storage of the app. Yet the same issue persists. Also all my photos are locally available on the phone and not on the Cloud/Drive.

I just want to report that the bin in Google photos lags a lot when opened (attachment for ready reference, it keeps on loading for few seconds long before showing the pics) & when I try to delete a pic in it or completely empty it is taking long!
