A collage is just a photo and has no music. You probably share videos. 

You can edit the video (also in Google Photos) and remove the music yourself.

 

How do you share on Facebook or Twitter? I am no copyright expert, but wonder whether this also happens when you just share the link?

Hi,

Thanks for posting in the Google Photos community.

Question 1:  This is fundamentally the opposite way that Google Photos works.  The idea behind Photos is to remove photos from your phone to save space while having a copy online safe and sound.  There isn't a way to do this other than to disconnect your phone/laptop from the Photos account but that could cause a lot of issues if you decide to go back to it later.

Question 2:  Photos by default keeps all photos private unless you explicitly share them.  You have to indicate you want to share them either in Photos or another app (take Maps for example if you add a photo to a place you have visited) but unless you do this, the photos remain private.
