Hi Sonya, thanks for getting back to my question. 

Yes all photos play great in Google App. Normally I saved them and download the video but only downloaded half the movie.

And also tried the same thing on web version and the result was the same. So weird. So I even created a new movie but the same. Usually when I leave the movie for overnight, all the compilation will be ready and saved completely and it used to work. But not anymore.

First off thank you for helping. So my issue is that it's not showing up in either account that main one or the one being  shared to that there's partner sharing. So I can't just turn it off. I tried all the options in google help. Yet all the photos from my one account are in the orher.

From that screen it says that you have already turned off Partner sharing.

 

Once photos are added to the receiving account they belong to that account and do not disappear when sharing is turned off.

 

You may be able to see them by date uploaded by going to the Search page and selecting Recently added where they will be grouped by the date sharing was actioned.

If pictures were recently deleted from your Google Photos storage, check the Google Photos Trash. Deleted photos remain here for 60 days, after which they're permanently deleted. If there are pictures in the Trash, you can easily restore them.

If someone with access to your account intentionally deleted photos permanently (by emptying the Trash bin) it's unlikely you'll be able to recover those pictures. If you are a Google One subscriber, you can try contacting Google One Support from your Google Account page.

Although there are multiple ways to transfer the content from the internal memory of the phone to an SD card, doing so through Google Photos allows retaining the backup and sync aspect.

Please follow the steps below to achieve the transfer.

• Open Google Photos.
• Tab Library.
• Tap the desired folder under Photos on the device like Camera, Screenshots etc.
• Select photos or videos by long pressing then tap others after the tick confirms the first selection
• You can also long-press and stroke down while still in a pressed condition, to select a batch.
• Next, tap the 3 dot menu top right.
• Tap Move to folder.
• Tap New SD folder, type a folder name then tap Create.

Note that if the photos are backed up to Google Photos this will not remove them from the Photos, and even if the new folder is not selected for Backup & sync any contents will still be deleted if you delete that using the Google Photos app.

First, I would ensure all of your pictures have been uploaded into Google Photos. Perhaps photos you are expecting to see in the results are not uploaded into Google Photos.

The recognition of faces within Google Photos is not instantaneous. How much time is passing before you determine the new pictures are not recognizing faces?

 

Also, can you please verify that you have backup and sync turned on and that your photos have all been uploaded into Google Photos?

3. At the top right, tap your account profile photo or initial.

5. Tap "Back up & sync" on.

If you see a message asking to allow the app to access your photos:

I don't know a lot about the specific algorithm, but I will say in my personal experience I have found it best to just leave this ON. Toggling on/off may be part of the problem as Google Photos will rescan your library each time. Instead, try uploading mass quantities (10-20) of pictures with people a couple times a week, even if they are just selfies. This may help "jog" the system. You can always delete unwanted pictures after the facial recognition gets going again.

I've done as suggested but no change yet. Early days I know. I forgot to add that also I'm turning off face recognition and resetting the search, so to speak, the face recognition default back to the previous google log in reset. 

I'm using an iPhone. My wife had the same phone but doesn't have these problems. My account is a paid business account. 

I've have just logged into the desktop version and it seems to be the same results there? No recent updates since the last reset log in.

Seems we are all having the same problem around the same time.

Due to lockdown, I went through all my photos and manually put names to faces, describtions, put dates back to when I had them.

Got through 1854 photos. Only to wake this morning and only have a 1/4 of the faces in my explore, all updates that I did on photos has gone and are all muddled up again.

I am trying to get this sorted as I brought an android TV with a chromecast built in, to place in my kitchen to use it as a photo display.

Though the ambilent mode shows three or four of the same photos, than a range of city, landscape etc.

Yesterday I had it all working with the photos I had updated, started working great was very proud of myself.

To only finding out today it is no longer working, faces are gone from goggle photos how I set them, and all updated information gone as well.

Was wondering if it had anything to do with the new chrome update, though seems to have nothing to do with it as I restored my computer so it did not have the update and my photos are still the way they were prior to going in and changing them all this week.

Any advise would be great though seems to be a lot of threads with the same problem yet no advise on how to fix it.

Found a workaround for "Error while labeling cluster" google photos error.  While adding photo name to a face just add a simple period add the end of the name.  Seems to work fine. Program is not perfect.  Other issues exist. I tried clearing cache data uninstalling disabling updating, turning off face recognition. . Getting more familiar of what it can do.  One cellphone loads version version 5.52, another version 5.53.  Have multiple faces with same name and waiting if it will correct this.

Have you used the "Free up space" feature?

Can you see the pics in Google Photos?

If yes, then you can get back the pics to your gallery through these steps.

 

To bring back the pics to your phone's gallery either, you can download photos one by one.

Regrettably, there is no option to do so on a batch of photos.

 

Alternatively, you can install the Google One app. There is a one time option to restore up to two hundred most recent photos to the device.

However, that will not restore the local folder structure.

There is no requirement to join Google One. The option is available to everyone. 

However, the method may not be helpful to recover something when the count is more than two hundred.

 

Or, you can arrange for a bulk download by visiting the link https://takeout.google.com/.

Select the Google Photos app for data download.

Once the file is ready, you will get an email. Access that & unzip all the attachments into your phone's gallery.

 

That will bring everything to your phone.
