but these journalists feel protected and free to threaten and slander members of
the Trump administration with abandon their shared hatred of the president and

journalists are our representatives in the halls of power and their job is to
ask substantive questions and get real answers they're not there to be
perpetual critics or naysayers with the recurring role or partisan bullies if

figures do it on your own time get a podcast or be a regular pundit on
MSNBC but if you want to be a journalist and prattle on about credibility why
don't you start by trying to restore your own and keep those rings in your

legal discussions without of course becoming a witness herself there's no
there's no privilege and she should get herself and any type of legal pickle she
doesn't want that so it is right for the legal team to have kept Sarah Sanders in
the dark on these sensitive topics for her own protection and this is why I've
always warned against arguing your case in the press
it's tempting I know you want to respond to everything but it is too fraught with
complications and it's very easy to make a misstep but that said do not presume
that these journalists are disengaged bystanders trying to keep it real they

people like to have conversations about your family about your hobbies things

term of you don't know us and you should think about I think everybody should
think about the difference between trying to go viral and start an argument
and trying to get information your job is to get information not confrontation
right and and I'll tell you a lot of this has nothing to do with April Ryan
I'm making a more general statement here a lot of the folks who dish it out
really can't take it that was my point in a Sunday show a couple weeks ago be
careful if you're if you're if you would be very thin-skinned on the receive
and the kind of stuff that that is on our shoulders like boulders every single

trying to provide information the best she possesses it and the best that she
knows about that at that moment but things here moves so fast that volume
and velocity alone and the press corps want to tell you that they've never sent
people who have worked in comms and press and in democratic and republican
ministrations will tell you they've never seen anything like it
