about Vietnam Blumenthal had often talked about going to Vietnam and

serving in the military but it turned out he'd never been to Vietnam

he's like aend him the nickname Dan and Richard from Trump

responded to his claims about Vietnam saying he misspoke however it's quite

hypocritical for him to accuse given or of lying after his dishonesty about

Vietnam Trump exposes Booker's groping going after Booker next Trump criticized

his time as mayor of Newark New Jersey here and Newark New Jersey into the

ground Trump claimed he was a horrible mayor but he didn't stop there Trump

Trump was almost certainly referring to statements made by Booker himself about

Trump is trying to convince men they are the 'true victims' of #MeToo movement, says a serious Trevo - Duration: 8:13.

By Allyson Chiu Allyson Chiu Reporter Email Bio Follow October 5 For roughly eight minutes during Thursday's taping of "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah," the studio was noticeably bereft of the raucous laughter that usually accompanies the South African comedian's joke-heavy commentary on the day's biggest headlines

Seated behind his desk and dressed in a sharp navy suit, Noah offered a line about President Trump that was devoid of either humor or sarcasm

"I find Trump's most powerful tool is that he knows how to wield victimhood," he said

In an impassioned, unscripted monologue that was not part of Thursday's broadcast, Noah called out Trump for trying to "convince men that they are the true victims of the #MeToo movement

" The president has used the tactic to defend his Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh, who faces several allegations of sexual misconduct

The judge has denied those allegations. Noah's spontaneous remarks came as he interacted with his studio audience during a break in taping, and the clip was later aired as part of the show's Emmy Award-winning, online-only series "Between the Scenes

" "Feeling is oftentimes more powerful than what's actually happening," Noah said

"That's a thing that people take for granted with Donald Trump. It's his greatest gift, it's his greatest danger

" On Tuesday, Trump spoke to reporters outside the White House and said,  "It's a very scary time for young men in America when you can be guilty of something you may not be guilty of," The Washington Post reported

When asked if he had a message for women, the president responded, "women are doing great," according to pool reports

Hours later, he would mock Christine Blasey Ford, one of the women accusing Kavanaugh, in front of hundreds at a rally in Mississippi

Trump, who experienced his own brush with #MeToo, has continuously backed Kavanaugh and openly criticized the movement

A procedural vote in the Senate to advance Kavanaugh's nomination is expected to take place Friday

[Kavanaugh moves closer to Senate confirmation as GOP argues FBI report exonerates the judge] After watching Trump in these moments, Noah said he came to a realization

"He knows how to offer victimhood to people who have the least claim to it, which is a really, really powerful tool," Noah said, his comments eliciting murmurs from the audience

Trump's statements carry more weight than many people may realize, Noah cautioned

"There are a lot of men who that message will connect with because that's a feeling that many men have," he said

"There's many men who will be afraid to admit it maybe, but there's many men who do have that feeling where they're like, 'Yeah, I mean this #MeToo movement, it's gotten outta control

'" Just last week, conservative pundit and former Trump campaign aide Michael Caputo angrily declared on CNN's "AC360," "From now on, every mother of sons, every grandmother of grandsons has to fear for the future of their boys …

" Days before Trump made his comments at the White House, his son Donald Trump Jr

, told Daily Mail he was more worried about his sons than his daughters in the wake of #MeToo

Noah scoffed at the idea that the movement poses a threat to all men. "It's maybe what, a hundred and something people? That's how many people have been '#MeToo'd?'" he asked incredulously

"That's how many people have been held accountable? A hundred and something? That's not a life changing number of men

They make it sound like all men have been accused." He added, drawing a rare burst of laughter, "You could fit a hundred men into a comedy club and then Louis C

K. could come and surprise them. That's how few that number is." But the moment of levity was brief

Noah's serious tone returned as he explained how convincing men that they are victims is a "powerful tool

" "If you can convince men that they are the true victims of the #MeToo movement, you get men to fight against a movement that's really about holding men who are doing bad things accountable as opposed to making all men scapegoats for something that they're not doing," he said

Trump, Noah said, has wielded victimhood on a number of occasions beyond the national debate on sexual assault

"He goes, 'The real victim in this story is not the kids in the cages, it's you. It's you who they're coming to take your place,'" Noah said

"'The real victim isn't the refugee from Syria, it's you who's gonna get blown up by a terrorist bomb

'" The comedian noted that he's seen the same thing happen in his home country of South Africa, referencing the country's post-apartheid climate

"You had tons of white people who were like, 'Oh, I'm afraid now, what's gonna happen to me, huh?'" he said, his voice becoming high-pitched and frantic

"'The black people are going to eat us. We're in danger. They're going to come for us

Oh my God, I'm the real victim.'" Now, Noah said, Trump is attempting to paint Kavanaugh as a victim

"The guy's heading to the Supreme Court, but he's making it like, 'This poor man, look at him this poor man,'" he said, slipping easily into his well-practiced Trump impersonation

"What's the worst that could happen to Brett Kavanaugh?" Noah asked, returning to his normal voice

"The worst thing that could happen is he'd go back to being a federal judge on one of the most important courts in the land

That's what he goes down to if he fails." Ford, on the other hand, won't be nearly as lucky, he said

"I'm heartbroken at what happened to Dr. Ford, not because it didn't go the way I would've maybe wanted it to, but rather because her life and her image, her as a human being has been trodden on and destroyed by the president of the United States

" Watch the full clip here: More from Morning Mix: Women 'are the n-word of the world,' Bette Midler tweeted

She apologized hours later. A 2-year-old shredded $1,060 of his family's cash. His mom cried — until she laughed

Unhinged Celebrities Losing It! Want Trump Assaulted, Rename Republican Party To 'The Rape Party' - Duration: 4:01.

Multiple Hollywood personalities have gotten involved with politics and it's becoming

extremely unhinged.

Actress Molly Ringwald has taken it upon herself to rename the Republican Party to 'The Rape

Party" and she's facing quite a bit of criticism from citizens accusing her of calling

them "rapists" simply for their political affiliation.

Ringwald, 50, best known for Sixteen Candles and The Breakfast Club, has become outspoken

amid the controversial events engulfing the confirmation of Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh

and the pushback orchestrated by Senate Democrats.

Ringwald was quite clear with her message and disdain for Republican Party and Republicans

in general who support Brett Kavanaugh as he fights accusations from Christine Blasey

Ford who says that he sexually assaulted her in the early 1980's while they were in high

school.

Ford has yet to produce a corroborating witness and the people she named thus far have spoken

against her story.

Ringwald took her voice to Twitter, lashing out at Republicans.

"It's no longer the Republican Party to me.

It's the Rape Party."

Another Hollywood actress lashed out at Republicans as well.

Sarah Silverman attacked President Trump, hoping that he would one day know what it

feels like to be held down and violated.

She stated this in response to Trump criticizing the protesters confronting senators in/at

the elevators as they attempt to move to a different floor.

"I hope you someday understand what it is to be held down against your will and violated.

Your compassion is startless"

"The very rude elevator screamers are paid professionals only looking to make Senators

look bad.

Don't fall for it!

Also, look at all of the professionally made identical signs.

Paid for by Soros and others.

These are not signs made in the basement from love!

#Troublemakers"

Kathy Griffin also chimed in, ranting off a string of expletives towards Senators voting

in favor of Kavanaugh.

She dedicated a special message to Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) who was fine with Democrats requesting

the FBI investigation into Kavanaugh's accusations, but then seems to believe that the FBI report

to be sufficient enough and he voted YES to push Kavanaugh to the next stage of the confirmation.

Griffin seems very angry over this.

Griffin was unable to hold a job with CNN and Squatty Potty after she was seen in a

picture holding a fake decapitated head of President Donald Trump.

More celebrities were involved in the anti-Kavanaugh/Trump antics.

Amy Schumer and Emily Ratajkowski were arrested during protests held at Capitol Hill.

However, a contradicting report on their arrest came out that suggested otherwise.

Their arrest seems more like a "let's pretend to get arrested for social media likes"

act.

Getting a $50 ticket is much different than getting arrested.

However, the two celebrities were able to get their social media pictures that made

it seem like they were being arrested and resisting with protesters.

This seems more like a publicity stunt than someone who actually cares about politics.

Schumer has starred in multiple movies, most known for the movie Trainwreck.

Emily Ratajkowski became stunningly famous when she starred in the 'Blurred Lines'

music video, which turned out to be one of the worst songs ever created (my opinion).

Ratajkowski's popularity grew as she posted sultry photos on Instagram.

Hollywood is becoming unhinged and too involved in politics.

Graham Savages Obama With Brutal One-Liner, 'If Trump Wins Nobel Peace Prize…' - Duration: 3:40.

Sen. Lindsey Graham has been on fire lately with brutal one-liners and comebacks in the

wake of liberal hyperventilating over President Donald Trump and Supreme Court nominee Judge

Brett Kavanaugh.

Speaking with TMZ earlier this week, Graham not only savaged former President Barack Obama,

he also cracked a brutal joke about what liberals will do if Trump were to ever win the Nobel

Peace Prize.

Graham was asked if he believes Trump will win the prize for his historic work in getting

North Korea to stop missile tests and begin taking steps to destroy its nuclear programs.

Graham said the president would definitely deserve the prize if more concrete steps are

taken with North Korea, but added that Trump has already had major accomplishments with

defeating ISIS and getting tough with Iran.

"If Donald Trump gets the Nobel Peace prize, liberals all over the world will jump out

of buildings," Graham said, laughing.

Graham then smacked down a question about some world leaders not like Trump, saying

it's "not about being liked, it's about results."

"President Obama won," the TMZ reporter huffed.

Graham fired back: "Yeah, he [Obama] won for not being [President George W.] Bush."

Graham has been utterly destroying liberals in recent weeks, and he laid into Sen. Bob

Menendez, D-N.J., on Thursday for calling the FBI report into Supreme Court nominee

Judge Brett Kavanaugh "bulls**t."

Graham was asked about Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., who cursed and melted down over the

bureau's report indicating that there's no evidence to support allegations that Kavanaugh

was sexually inappropriate in the early 1980s.

Menendez — who was indicted on federal bribery and corruption charges, got a mistrial, and

then received a slap on the wrist from the Ethics Committee — told a group of reporters

that the FBI report was "bulls**t."

In response, Graham said what Democrats have done to Kavanaugh in recent weeks is pure

crap.

"To my friend Bob, what y'all have done is bulls**t," Graham responded.

"Democrats have taken a good man's life, turn it upside down in despicable attack.

It's going to blow up in your face — I hope it does."

On Thursday, Graham issued a stark warning to Democrats, telling them that they "better

watch out" the next time they have the opportunity to nominate someone to the Supreme Court.

Prior to that, he clapped back at a group of liberal protesters angrily following him

through the Senate building on Thursday.

Soon after his interview was hijacked by an angry mob of liberals, Graham hopped on Twitter

and fired off a brutal tweet.

None of the women who claim Kavanaugh was inappropriate almost 40 years ago have any

witnesses or evidence to support their claims.

Aside from that, Graham blasting Obama for only receiving the Nobel Peace Prize for not

being Bush won't sit well with Democrats.

And he's probably correct that some liberals will jump out of buildings if Trump were to

ever receive the prize.

Democrats would risk severely harming themselves by jumping out of a building than to admit

Trump has been highly successful — that's says it all.

Poison Letter Sent to Trump & Russian Trolls Bash "The Last Jedi" | The Daily Show - Duration: 2:56.

You know how they say if you don't like your leaders,

you should write angry letters to them?

Well, some people take it a little too far.

The FBI is investigating several suspicious letters sent

to President Trump and others

that may have contained the toxic compound ricin.

Officials say the letter that was addressed

to the president never entered The White House.

Similar letters mailed to the Pentagon were addressed

to Defense Secretary Jim Mattis

and the Navy's top officer, Admiral John Richardson.

A fourth letter was sent to the Houston campaign office

of Senator Ted Cruz,

but tests there for anything hazardous turned up negative.

Okay, first of all, thank God no one was hurt.

And second, if your plan

to harm Donald Trump depends on him reading something...

(laughter)

...maybe you haven't thought this through.

(as Trump): "I got a letter. Now my head hurts and I'm dizzy.

Is this ricin?"

"No, sir. That's words."

Also not smart sending a poison letter to Ted Cruz.

They were suspicious right away.

No one writes letters to Ted Cruz.

If anything, the poison letter is lucky

it never got to Ted Cruz, 'cause right now,

poison would be in the hospital.

Like, "What happened to you, Poison?"

"I was exposed to Ted Cruz."

In other news, uh, if you've been looking

for a reason to restock your fallout shelter,

this might be it.

MAN: The EPA is proposing to weaken radiation regulations,

suggesting a little bit of radiation

is actually good for you, like sunlight.

Current guidance says

any exposure to radiation is a cancer risk.

Critics warn the proposal could increase harmful exposure

for people who work near radiation

or live next to superfund sites.

Now, now,

before you start complaining about how it's not safe

for the EPA to encourage higher radiation levels,

ask yourself one question.

Do you want more X-Men movies or not?

(laughter)

I rest my case.

Moving on. Russia.

They've targeted Democrats, Republicans,

and now they're going after one of America's

biggest populations-- nerds.

WOMAN: The Hollywood Reporter reports

a new study claims negative buzz

about Star Wars: The Last Jedi is being amplified

by Russian trolls.

An academic paper finds that half

of the criticism aimed at the director

of the 2017 installment was politically motivated

or not even human.

The author, Morton Bay, claims

he found evidence of deliberate,

organized, political influence measures

disguised as fan arguments.

He said a number of users appeared to be Russian trolls.

Okay, I'm sorry.

Russian hacking has just gotten ridiculous now.

No. Because I get them going after elections,

but Rotten Tomatoes, really? Like, what's next?

They'll be hacking your Airbnb reviews? Just like...

(with Russian accent): Susan's bedding was too uncomfortable.

Yeah, vote Trump.

(in his voice): Who is this guy?

Trump Makes Up With Canada, Melania Goes To Africa - Duration: 4:51.

WELCOME TO "THE LATE SHOW," LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.

I'M YOUR HOST STEPHEN COLBERT.

( CHEERS AND APPLAUSE ) HEY -- YOU KNOW WHAT THAT SOUNDS

LIKE?

THAT SOUNDS LIKE A FRIDAY CROWD TO ME RIGHT THERE.

( CHEERS AND APPLAUSE ) RIGHT THERE.

( PIANO RIFF ) THAT'S ELECTRIC!

THIS ROOM IS SOAKED WITH GASOLINE.

THANK YOU FOR BEING HERE.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE HAVE BEEN TALKING ABOUT KAVANAUGH

SINCE 1954, I THINK -- I'M NOT SURE -- BUT THERE IS, TONIGHT,

IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN, WE HAVE TO TAKE A LITTLE BRIEF KAVANAUGH

PAUSE -- A LITTLE PAUSE IN THE KAVANAUGH SAGA BECAUSE THE

EARLIEST SENATE CAN VOTE ON HIS CONFIRMATION IS SATURDAY NIGHT.

SO I'M GOING TO CATCH YOU UP ON SOME OF THE STORIES YOU MIGHT

HAVE MISSED WHILE BURIED IN THE BRETT KAVANAUGH AVALANCHE, OR

"THE KAVALANCHE" AS NO ONE IS CALLING IT.

SO CALL THE KIDS BACK IN THE ROOM BECAUSE THIS IS "LESS

DEPRESSING NEWS."

( CHEERING ) FIRST UP, YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED

THAT WE'RE FRIENDS WITH CANADA AGAIN.

( CHEERING ) YEP.

WE CAN'T STAY MAD AT YOU, YOU MOOSE-LOVING MAPLE-HUFFERS.

( LAUGHTER ) YOU ICE HOLES.

( LAUGHTER ) BECAUSE, ON MONDAY, PRESIDENT

TRUMP AND CANADIAN PRIME MINISTER JUSTIN TRUDEAU

ANNOUNCED A NEW TRADE DEAL REPLACING NAFTA.

AND THE RAVE REVIEWS ARE IN.

CRITICS HAIL IT AS "MODEST CHANGES" AND "ALMOST THE SAME AS

THE OLD NAFTA BUT WITH A DIFFERENT NAME."

( LAUGHTER ) SAME THING, DIFFERENT NAME.

THIS IS LIKE WHEN IHOP CHANGED THEIR NAME TO IHOB, BUT THAT WAS

A MORE SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS.

( LAUGHTER ) AND TRUMP IS SURE YOU'RE GOING

TO LOVE THE NEW NAME.

>> AN INCREDIBLE NEW U.S., MEXICO, CANADA AGREEMENT, CALLED

U.S.M.C.A., SORT OF JUST WORKS-- M.C.A.

( APPLAUSE ) U.S.M.C.A.

AND THAT WILL BE THE NAME THAT 99% OF THE TIME WE'LL BE

HEARING, U.S.M.C.A.

HAS A GOOD RING TO IT.

>> Stephen: YEAH.

GOT A GOOD RING TO IT.

JUST ROLLS OFF THE TONGUE, YOU KNOW.

WHAT'S NAFTA?

NAFTA'S DONE.

IT'S THE "UNITED STATES-MEXICO-CANADA AGREEMENT,"

OR "NAFTA."

( LAUGHTER ) ( APPLAUSE )

BUT I THINK 99% OF THE TIME -- >> Jon: 99% OF THE TIME.

>> Stephen: -- 99 P% OF THE TIME, THAT'S WHAT WE'RE GOING TO

BE CALLING IT.

BUT HIS OWN ADMINISTRATION IS HAVING TROUBLE WITH THE CHANGE.

ESPECIALLY WHITE HOUSE ECONOMIC ADVISOR AND MAN TRYING TO

PRETEND HE DIDN'T JUST SWALLOW A BUG, LARRY KUDLOW.

>> AND OF COURSE, THE NORTH AMERICAN DEAL, USA-- UH-- I GOT

TO GET THIS RIGHT, U.S.A.M.C.?

( LAUGHTER ) >> Stephen: JUDGES --

(BUZZER) -- SORRY, IT'S U.S.M.C.A.

U.S.A.M.C. IS THE TEAM-UP BETWEEN THE USA NETWORK AND AMC

THAT PRODUCES "AMERICAN ZOMBIE WARRIOR."

( LAUGHTER ) SO TRUMP IS TRYING TO HEAL

RELATIONS WITH CANADA, BUT THERE'S STILL WORK TO DO.

ONE CANADIAN POLLSTER SAYS, "TRUMP HAS THE WORST POPULARITY

NUMBERS FOR AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT AMONG CANADIANS THAT I

HAVE EVER SEEN.

THE NEGATIVE REACTION IS VISCERAL AND TOTAL."

WHICH EXPLAINS WHY UNTIL TRUMP LEAVES OFFICE, CANADA HAS

CHANGED THEIR FLAG TO THIS.

( LAUGHTER ) ( CHEERS AND APPLAUSE )

( PIANO RIFF ) IT'S A LEAK!

IT'S A LEAK!

IT'S JUST A LEAK.

JUST A LEAK.

YOU ALSO MAY HAVE MISSED THAT THE FIRST LADY IS IN AFRICA THIS

WEEK, VISITING FOUR COUNTRIES AS PART OF HER "BE BEST" CAMPAIGN.

BECAUSE NO ISSUE IS MORE RELEVANT TO SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA

THAN INTERNET BULLYING.

( LAUGHTER ) ONE OF HER STOPS WAS TO A FORMER

SLAVE OUTPOST, BUT SHE WASN'T THE FIRST FIRST LADY TO VISIT.

CNN NOTED THAT MELANIA STOPPED TO READ A PLAQUE THAT PROCLAIMED

THAT IT WAS UNVEILED BY PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA AND FIRST

LADY MICHELLE OBAMA ON THE OCCASION OF THEIR VISIT IN 2009.

OKAY, NOW SHE'S PLAGIARIZING MICHELLE'S VACATIONS!

( LAUGHTER ) ( CHEERS AND APPLAUSE )

OF COURSE -- SURE.
