If I had to send one message to Trump and his administration, I would say, 'let's do lunch.'

'Won't be erased' and 'si existimos' are just sort of like to reiterate the idea that we exist. We belong here too. We are still here.

You can't just erase us and we deserve to have equal rights and the ability to thrive.

Our experience is intersectional, so not only am I a trans person but I am a Latina person.

We, for too long, have lived in the society's shadows based out of fear and it's taken

us a really long time to stand in our truth and be proud of who we are.

I knew who I was at a very young age but I kept it a secret because I wanted to be

included and I think that that's something that can resonate with anyone

who's ever felt alienated, no matter what race, gender, religion, whatever it is.

Because if you can learn to respect an individual like myself, you can learn to

respect an individual of color or you know women's rights. And even though it

does hurt to feel like our existence is going to be erased, we are so resilient and

we're so strong that you know we're going to keep focusing on this fight.

I really wish that Trump would consider meeting with the trans community and

really understanding who we are, because he won't be able to relate to how we

think about our gender identity because he's not transgender.

I was tagged in a video that someone posted about the surgery from male to female.

The caption was something along the lines of, 'This should be illegal.' It really struck a

chord with me because I knew the girl that posted the video. We hung out, you know.

We're actually kind of friends. So, to see that ugly side come out just shows

how powerful this ignorance is and how this influence from our own president

does touch a lot of people who just don't know any better. You should take

into consideration how much you know about the topic or how much you've been

exposed to the topic. If you don't know a trans person or don't have a trans

person in your life, you shouldn't be able to judge us or set rules for us.

You know, you should take a moment and think, 'Why do I feel so negatively about this

topic? Is it because I just don't know any better or is it because it

threatens me? And if that's the case, you should be doing like the inside work to fix that.

I believe that it's the government's job to protect the people and to keep us thriving as a nation.

This place was like a place of refuge. You know, yes, was it unfairly taken away from

Native American people? Absolutely, 100%. And that's why we have to make life

better for everyone. You know, that should be your only job, is protecting all

people that live in this nation and to continue to keep us safe, secure and

thriving. That's it. If you're doing anything extra, you're doing way too much.

He baselessly accused the gubernatorial candidate of being a "thief" and claimed that he's

done a poor job as Mayor of Tallahassee.

Since it's Trump, one can't rule out the likelihood that Trump was engaging in a racist

dog whistle, calling Gillum a thief to appeal to the bigots in his electorate who conflate

blackness with criminality.

Unlike some who have been targeted by Trump in the past, Gillum hit back quickly.

He called out Trump's lack of courage in his failing to tag or "@" him in his original

tweet, meaning that the president's message wasn't immediately sent to Gillum and he

had to learn of it secondhand.

Gillum added that Trump is "howling because he's weak" before urging voters to get

to the polls.

His assessment is spot on.

Trump is indeed weak, and his Twitter outbursts are nothing more than the vain thrashings

of a man helpless to stop the wave building against him.

Gillum is leading in the polls, and if he is able to win next week the loss of the Florida

governorship would be a powerful rebuke of Trump's administration and the broader Republican

Party.

Florida voters have a chance to embrace positive change and reject the fearmongering and hatred

of the GOP.

Knowing Trump, this won't be the last time he attacks Gillum on Twitter.

And, judging by Gillum's masterful handling of the situation, this won't be the last

time he hits back hard.

As the migrant caravan makes it way closer to the United States border, questions are

now swirling on how America will handle the impending crisis.

Despite the migrant caravan having rejected Mexico's very generous offer to stay in

their country, top level Democrats have said Americans should be "'welcoming and tolerant"

to the caravan.

However, those in charge of governing have taken a much different approach.

As reported by Breitbart, President Donald Trump issued another warning on Monday to

migrants in the caravan traveling through Mexico, telling them they would not be allowed

into the United States.

Trump's warning came just after the Pentagon issued a statement declaring it would be activating

up to 5,000 additional troops to assist with the possible conflict set to take place at

the United States-Mexico border.

"This is an invasion of our Country and our Military is waiting for you!" Trump

wrote via Twitter.

"Many Gang Members and some very bad people are mixed into the Caravan heading to our

Southern Border," he added, urging the migrants in the caravan to return to their home countries

and apply legally to enter the United States.

"Please go back, you will not be admitted into the United States unless you go through

the legal process," he wrote.

While many new organizations continue to criticize the Trump Administration on their handling

of the migrant caravan, reporters who are actually embedded within the caravan have

much different reports.

In fact, a member of the caravan recently identified to a Fox News reporter that while

there a legitimate people trying to make their way to the United States for a new start,

there are also criminals mixed in with the caravan.

Trump Just Prepared Massive Border Executive Order – Caravan Going Down! - Duration: 4:17.

Various reports are now pointing to the fact that President Donald Trump is now considering

a sweeping executive order that would stop illegal aliens and asylum seekers from entering

the U.S. at the southern border in an all-out effort to stop the so-called caravan traveling

north through Mexico.

"Fox News has learned the proposal originated out of the White House and is one of several

being considered.

No final decision has been made.

"The Administration is considering a wide range of administrative, legal and legislative

options to address the Democrat-created crisis of mass illegal immigration.

No decisions have been made at this time.

Nor will we forecast to smugglers or caravans what precise strategies will or will not be

deployed," a White House official said.

The order would be akin to Trump's previous aggressive immigration-blocking executive

orders, such as the travel ban aimed at halting people from some Muslim-majority countries

from entering the U.S.

Any attempt to block the entry of Central American migrants is likely to prompt legal

challenges, though Trump is likely emboldened following a Supreme Court ruling earlier this

summer that affirmed the president's right to bar the entry of migrants who "would

be detrimental to the interests of the United States."

The plan for the executive order comes just in the final stretch before the upcoming midterm

elections, with Trump trying to make the issue of caravan the defining topic as voters head

to the polls.

"Every time you see a caravan, or people illegally coming, or attempting to come, into

our country illegally, think of and blame the Democrats for not giving us the votes

to change our pathetic immigration laws!" Trump wrote in a tweet Monday.

"Remember the midterms!"

Hundreds of U.S. troops are also set to make their way to the southern border to help Homeland

Security and the National Guard as the caravan pushes north.

An official told Fox News on Thursday roughly 800 soldiers will be sent to the area to offer

"logistical support," including providing tents and vehicles.

It's not immediately clear which units are being tasked with the mission as details are

still being finalized.

There are currently 2,100 National Guard troops on the southern border assisting Homeland

Security.

Democrats, while previously outspoken regarding Trump's immigration policies, are staying

largely silent on the issue, instead preferring to remain focused on tackling the GOP on issues

like health care, saying it's the winning issue this election cycle.

DEMOCRATS AVOID SPARRING WITH TRUMP ON CARAVAN AS MIDTERM NEARS

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, the top

Democrats in the country, slammed Trump in a statement earlier this week regarding the

caravan of migrants, saying the president is "desperate" to change the conversation

because "health care is the number one issue Americans care about."

According to a Kaiser Family Foundation survey published last week, which surveyed people

since the beginning of the caravan earlier this month, the issue of immigration isn't

the top concern for voters.

It ranks below health care, which has consistently been viewed as the most important issue.

Other key issues have been the economy, jobs and policies concerning gun rights."

If the president does go through with this executive order he would be putting into effect

a Supreme Court ruling earlier this summer which affirmed the president's right to

refuse the entry of migrants who "would be detrimental to the interests of the United

States."

This whole mess comes just days before the upcoming midterm elections and would cement

President Trump's position he made clear during the 2016 campaign which was to stop

the invasion of people coming in through our southern border from the third world who have

the mistaken belief that it's our nation's duty to take in the world's problems.

Kanye has been outspoken in his support of Trump for quite some time, and he's only

getting louder.

Now he's designed a clothing line that promotes a #Blexit, aka, a black exit from the Democrat

Party.

Newsweek is reporting:

"Kanye West has designed a shirt line encouraging African-Americans to leave the Democratic

Party, Rolling Stone reported.

The shirts promote "Blexit," a spin on "Brexit," which referred to the U.K. leaving

the European Union.

The clothing was released at a Young Black Leadership Summit in Washington organized

by Turning Point USA communications director Candace Owens.

"Blexit is a renaissance and I am blessed to say that this logo, these colors, were

created by my dear friend and fellow superhero Kanye West," Owens said.

"[West] has taken one of the boldest steps in America to open a conversation we have

needed to have."

She said the Blexit campaign "will spend 2019 holding rallies in every major city in

America that the Democrats have destroyed," according to PageSix.

Owens later promoted the clothing line on Twitter, writing "There is no group in America

that has been more lied to, more abused, or more taken advantage of by the Democrats than

black people.

At long last, we can return the favor by ENDING their stranglehold on our votes.

The shirts contain the phrases "Blexit" and "We Free."

They are available in salmon, orchid and lagoon blue.

West's release of the clothing line is his latest denunciation of the Democratic Party.

His visit to the White House earlier this month garnered a large amount of public attention.

The rapper talked about welfare, Chicago's murder rate, the 13th Amendment, his support

for President Donald Trump, racism and police brutality, among other topics.

Kris Jenner, West's mother-in-law, criticized the meeting while speaking with Ellen DeGeneres

on Friday.

"And the stuff that they were talking about, when they got to the airplane, I was like,

'Oh my gosh, that's so Kanye,'" she said.

"He was sharing thoughts and things on himself.

But I would rather he share some of that stuff privately.

Obviously, that would be great."

Last month, West also generated discussion during his appearance on "Saturday Night

Live," when he monologued about being bullied for supporting President Donald Trump.

West's vocal and outspoken endorsement of the President has received support from right-wing

pundits and media sites.

"What has West done to merit such vitriol?"

Nick Fitzgerald wrote on The Daily Caller.

"The answer is frightening and simple: He is thinking for himself.

Of course, Democrats aren't the happiest of campers with West's support of Trump

& his call to blacks to leave the Dem party behind.

They know without the black vote, they can't win elections.

Isn't it great that people of all races are waking up to the fact that the Democrat

Speaking with Fox News, Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen boasted about the

wall and said the administration was looking at "every possible way" to prevent illegal

immigration.

The unveiling of the wall section came as Nielsen and others immigration officials were

on site to review the progress.

Nielsen posted a photo of the border wall section via Twitter, writing that she was

"very proud" of its quick construction.

"Very proud today to acknowledge the completion of the first section of @POTUS' border wall.

Thank you @CBP and all our partners that are helping us to deploy new border wall systems,"

she wrote.

She added in a follow-up tweet: "Border security is national security.

We need funding to continue building @POTUS' wall.

We need personnel to secure the border.

And we need laws that work for the American people.

I refuse to believe that this is too complex for Congress to solve, they must address this

crisis."

During an interview with Fox News' Martha MacCallum from the site, Nielsen said she

was confident that the border wall would be effective to combat illegal immigration.

"Let me be clear: Walls work," she said.

Nielsen was asked about the migrant caravan, which is estimated to include roughly 8,000

men, women, and children that are marching toward the U.S. from Guatemala and Honduras.

The DHS secretary noted that Mexico has offered asylum to the migrants, but that many have

refused and are still claiming they will march toward the U.S.

"They should be seeking refuge in Mexico," Nielsen said.

"To ignore, basically, refuge and continue, in some cases, to come to the United States

raises questions of what their real motives are."

She added that many of the migrants will not be able to stay in the country.

"If they come here illegally with no legitimate reason to stay, they absolutely will be apprehended

and removed immediately.

This caravan cannot come to the United States.

They will not be allowed in.

They will not be allowed to stay."

Trump has also threatened to send American troops and completely close the U.S. southern

border if Mexico allows the caravan of migrants to reach the boundary between the two nations.

Trump has called the migrant caravan traveling from Central America toward the United States

a "national emergency."

The president also threatened this week to pull U.S. aid to Central America if the governments

do not do more to prevent the group of migrants from traveling north to the U.S. border with

Mexico.

In fiscal year 2017, American taxpayers gave around $248 million in aid to Guatemala, $175

million to Honduras, and $115 million to El Salvador.

Many Americans are thrilled to see parts of the border wall as well as the Trump administration

standing firm on defending the border and not allowing the migrant caravan to come into

the U.S.

Leaked Schedule Shows Trump Watches Fox News Almost All Day Long - Duration: 5:23.

Donald Trump is officially the Fox News President.

And it's not just that he spreads the conspiracy theory and horrible right wing false talking

points that he hears on the network.

It's not just that he speaks to Fox News hosts on the phone and get their ideas about what

he should do in terms of policy, it's the fact that the man spends three times more

of his time each day watching Fox News than doing any actual work.

And that's actually according to a leaked presidential schedule that the folks at Politico

got their hands on.

Specifically looking at last Tuesday, Donald Trump spent close to nine hours, during his

executive time, 'cause he just had an exorbitant amount of executive time that day, nine hours

watching cable news, which is mostly Fox News, and tweeting, and talking on the phone to

his buddies, nine hours.

He spent three hours that day in meetings and doing other presidential things.

So nine hours watching TV and tweeting, versus three hours of doing actual work.

Now, let me ask everybody watching this, if you're at your job and let's say you're working

a 12-hour shift, you spend the first 9 hours watching TV and playing on your phone, last

3 hours actually doing some work, are you still gonna have a job tomorrow?

Because I'm pretty sure the answer is no.

That's not how it works.

And what's even more dangerous is who the President is talking to and what the president

is watching.

If he just wanted to sit there and take a nap for nine hours instead of working, that

would be far less damaging to this country.

But instead he's spending it on Twitter, spreading conspiracy theories, spreading hate and division,

while also watching network news on Fox News that does the exact same thing.

He watches them, he gets ideas, he creates even crazier conspiracy theories in his head,

and he tweets them out to the public who eat them up, and then they decide to go and act

and do a horrible unspeakable thing based on what the President tweeted, which is based

on what he watched on Fox News.

This is absolutely dangerous.

And yes, Donald Trump is dangerous when he's actually doing his presidential duties.

But there has to be a line somewhere.

This man cannot just consist or exist on a steady diet of conspiracy and hate coming

from Fox News, because that then bleeds over into his rallies, into his policies, into

his executive orders, and into his tweets.

And his hungry base, his hungry, angry, hate-filled base eats those up.

They live for it, they love it.

And they internalize that hate and that anger, they believe the conspiracy theories as if

it came from the Gospel itself, and that's when they decide to go do something crazy.

We saw it too many times happen just in the last seven days.

And as long as the President spends more time watching Fox News and tweeting than he does

actually working, getting off his phone, getting off his butt and doing something, the worse

things are going to get here in the United States.

And the only possible solution is to get out there, vote in these mid-terms, switch the

balance of power in Congress, so that maybe we can hold this man accountable to the point

where we might actually be able to remove him from office.
