Lara Trump: President won't bear responsibility for GOP losses

Lara Trump president Trump's daughter-in-law and senior advisor to

his 2020 re-election campaign says the president will not bear

responsibility for GOP losses in this year's midterm elections Laura Trump

told the hill that the president wishes he were on the campaign trail more often

but she said that Republicans have a hard time capitalizing on Trump's

popularity with his core voters and some of those voters might not show up to

vote it's hard to translate excitement for one candidate to another Laura Trump

said in an interview Thursday I don't think it's a referendum on the president

directly if Republicans do not hold their seat or they lose a seat

asked whether Trump would take responsibility for Republican losses as

former president george w bush did following the 2006 elections and his

former president obama did after the 2010 elections Laura Trump said no why

would he bear responsibility she asked these candidates are

individual people it's hard to say just because you voted for the president go

vote for this person Democrats need to reclaim a net of just 23 seats to win

control of the house and most observers believe they are favored to do so it

obviously looks slightly better on the Democrat side Laura Trump said the

situation is different in the Senate where Democrats are running for

re-election in a handful of deeply conservative states that Trump carried

in 2016

Trump Kicks Off Rally by Condemning Pittsburgh 'Assault on Humanity' - Duration: 2:22.

At a rally in Murphysboro, Illinois, on Saturday night, President Donald Trump condemned the

killings of 11 synagogue-goers in Pittsburgh, calling it an "assault on humanity."

The attack at the Tree of Life Synagogue in the Pennsylvania city's predominantly Jewish

Squirrel Hill area claimed the lives of at least 11 people.

According to Fox News, the alleged attacker was identified as 46-year-old Robert Bowers,

a man whose social media postings evinced a sort of anti-Semitic mania.

Witnesses say he charged into the synagogue during services on Saturday, yelling "all

Jews must die."

He now faces 29 criminal counts and his conviction could get the death penalty.

Before speaking on behalf of GOP Rep. Mike Bost, President Trump addressed the horror

that had unfolded earlier in the day.

"This evil, anti-Semitic attack is an assault on all of us.

It is an assault on humanity," the president said.

Anti-Semitism, Trump said, "must be confronted and condemned everywhere it rears its very

ugly head.

We must stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters to defeat anti-Semitism and vanquish

the forces of hate…

"Those seeking their destruction, we will seek their destruction," he added.

Trump also used the event to call for the death penalty against Bowers.

"We have to bring back the death penalty, they have to pay the ultimate price," Trump

said.

"We must draw a line in the sand and say very strongly, 'never again.'"

Trump made similar sentiments on social media, where he decried "the mass murder of Jewish

Americans at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh."

"It will take all of us working together to extract the poison of anti-Semitism from

our world," the president wrote.

"We must unite to conquer hate."

During the Illinois speech, Trump also said that he had entertained thoughts of canceling

the campaign event because of the massacre, but decided against it.

"We can't allow people like this to become important," Trump said.

"When we change all of our lives in order to accommodate them, it's not acceptable."

Donald Trump's border 'wall' unveiled - Duration: 1:31.

a large section of Donald Trump's border wall has been unveiled for the first

time there's just one problem it's not really a wall after all it's a fence the

US president has long spoken of his desire to build a big beautiful wall

along the border between the u.s. and Mexico moments before it was unveiled

workers added the finishing touch by fixing a plaque bearing mr. Trump's name

- the 30-foot high fence the two-mile barrier was built in Calexico California

and homeland security secretary Kuragin Nielson spoke at its unveiling on Friday

she said looking at this I would not attempt to climb it the structure is

separate from a concrete wall prototype that the government has built near San

Diego however the fence in Calexico has been described by the Trump

administration as the completion of the first phase of the border wall

describing it as a significant accomplishment to keep immigrants out

m's Nielson added let me be clear walls work the Pentagon has approved the

request for at least 800 additional troops at the southern border as a

slow-moving migrant caravan moves north through Mexico mr. Trump has said its

members will not be allowed to come into the u.s.

Trump Supporters Infiltrate Bernie Sanders Rally… Hilarity Ensues - Duration: 3:31.

Can you make socialism great again?

Of course not — that implies it was once great.

The same principle applies to Bernie Sanders rallies.

However, you can make the latter great for once by sneaking in pro-Trump banners.

Mind you, you'll probably get kicked out.

But, hey — it'll actually be interesting for a change.

According to the Reno Gazette-Journal, a group of students interrupted a Sanders speech at

the University of Nevada, Reno on Thursday by unfurling "Make America Great Again"

banners in the peanut gallery.

Needless to say, the banner triggered Sanders, who would go on to make the pro-Trump demonstrators

a target of several straw-man attacks.

"Really?

Do you really want to give $1 trillion in tax breaks to the 1 percent?"

Sanders said as fans of the Vermont socialist cheered on.

"Is that what you want?"

After those remarks, the Trump supporters were removed from the event by organizers.

They were chased away by event MC Will Adler because they weren't standing in a "free

speech zone," although the MC told the Gazette-Journal that it was done at the behest of the university.

Campus police would subsequently "politely remind" Adler that you can't do that at

a public university; apparently, liberals only start reading the Bill of Rights after

the Second Amendment, meaning they weren't aware the First Amendment prohibits zoning

free speech at political rallies or kicking people out if they violate rules on said spaces

at state schools.

The pro-Trump protesters returned, albeit without the signs — and Sen. Sanders'

straw-man attacks did, as well.

"While we're here on this great campus, we say loudly and proudly that we're going

to make public colleges and universities tuition-free and we're going to substantially lower student

debt," Sanders said, gesturing toward the Trump supporters.

"Unlike Trump and his friends, and (Nevada Republican Sen.) Dean Heller, we're not

going to throw millions off the health care they have, we're going to move toward a

Medicare-for-all, single payer program."

Brothers and sisters, stand up, fight back," Sanders exhorted, no doubt studiously trying

to avoid using the word "comrades."

"Vote, bring your friends out to vote.

Let's elect Jacky Rosen to the U.S. Senate."

Vote early, vote often!

That's the Democrat way.

Even as an independent, I'm sure Sanders is familiar with that.

After all, the Democrat way is what ended up fixing the 2016 primary process against

him.

Things have gotten better for Sanders since then, with Democrats suddenly warming to socialism

and all things millennial.

That still doesn't make Sanders, who has the personality of the oatmeal he no doubt

eats every morning for breakfast, any more interesting.

Thankfully, if you go to a Sanders rally, you may be able to count on Trump supporters

to make things more compelling.

Trump designates a national monument in Kentucky - Duration: 0:51.

President Donald Trump dedicated a national monument, Friday, in

Kentucky. The new dedication protects Camp Nelson, a Civil

War supply depot, hospital and recruiting center for African

American soldiers. This is the first time President Trump has

used his executive powers to create a national monument. Back

in February of 2018, he used those powers to shrink two

national monuments in Utah. The Associated Press reports there

are some political implications to this designation. Rep. Andy

Barr, who represents the district that includes Camp

Nelson, is facing a tight race against his Democrat challenger,

Amy McGrath. But Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke told the

outlet this wasn't about giving Barr an election bump. The new

monument will consist of 380 acres of land which were donated

to the federal government by Kentucky officials.

Shep Smith Insists Trump is to Blame for the Bomber, Wallace Fire Back - Duration: 2:03.

On Friday, the key suspect in the package bomb deliveries to top Democrats was captured

and arrested in South Florida.

Cesar Sayoc, a 56-year-old man from Florida, has a criminal history and has been reportedly

been arrested in the past for making terror threats.

CNN did some digging and discovered more about the mentally unstable man's life.

Cesar Sayoc was arrested Friday after federal authorities said he sent 14 pipe bombs through

the US mail to prominent Democrats around the country.

None of the bombs detonated, and no one was injured.

He's facing federal charges and could receive up to 48 years in prison if convicted.

As the investigation continues, here's what we have learned about the suspected bombmaker.

Sayoc, of Aventura, Florida, is a bodybuilder who worked as a male dancer for several years

and most recently as a pizza driver.

On his LinkedIn account, Sayoc described himself as a choreographer and booking agent for male

strippers and burlesque shows.

The announcement of the arrest came as President Trump was hosting the "Young Black Leaders

Summit" at the White House, where some 400-plus young African Americans gathered to celebrate

the "MAGA movement" and share ideas to further improve black communities.

President Trump spoke about the arrest, strongly condemning the attacks and also thanked law

enforcement.

Fox News covered the arrest of Sayoc during Shepard Smith's show, where Shep also invited

"Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace to discuss the developments.

The conversation heated up when Smith insisted that President Trump should take the blame

for the Sayoc's actions.

Pro-Trump #WalkAway March Draws Hundreds - Duration: 3:50.

Brandon Straka is the former Democrat who first launched the #WalkAway movement roughly

Straka took to Facebook and posted a video urging other people who felt fed up with the

failed progressive policies and mob rule to "walk away."

As Town Hall reports, the #WalkAway movement is a booming success.

AT NOW OVER 100,000 MEMBERS IN ITS FACEBOOK GROUP AND WIDESPREAD INTERNATIONAL MEDIA COVERAGE,

THE #WALKAWAY MOVEMENT OF FORMER DEMOCRATS TELLING THEIR STORIES ABOUT WHY THEY LEFT

THEIR PARTY HAS RESONATED DEEPLY WITH A CORE FEELING CURRENTLY IN THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

Over this past weekend, the GOP held a series of events in support of the 2018 midterms,

including a #WalkAway rally at the Freedom Plaza in Washington, D.C.

The gathering at Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC, on Saturday was a stark contrast to recent

rallies where people dressed in black and held signs disparaging President Donald Trump

and members of his administration.

The #WalkAway rally featured a sea of red, white, and blue-clad participants, waving

flags, wearing Make America Great hats, and even pussy hats made infamous during the Women's

March were transformed into bright red, Trump-supporting headgear.

The success of a weekend of events to support Trump and Republicans ahead of the midterm

elections on November 6 even impressed Brandon Straka, the former Democrat who launched the

#WalkAway movement five months ago when he posted a video on his Facebook page urging

others who are fed up with the failed policies and mob rule mentality of today's Democrat

Party to leave it.

"We planned a really, really amazing weekend that we hope is going to wake a lot of people

up — open a lot of people's eyes," Straka said, adding that, no, he could not have imagined

celebrating at Trump International Hotel with hundreds of other #WalkAway liberals and the

conservatives who support them, dubbed #WalkWiths, on the eve of the march and rally.

"I definitely did not think when I released my video on May 26 that I would be standing

in Trump International Hotel, wearing an 'I love Trump' top hat and tuxedo," Straka

said.

Breitbart News spoke with some of those who have joined the movement and traveled from

as far away as California to take part in the D.C. event.

Zach Hing, who spoke at the rally, came from California and confessed he voted for Hillary

in 2016 but that "fake news" has since pushed him toward conservatism.

He said spending time in communist China growing up also played a role in his conversion from

liberal to conservative.

And he's glad Trump is president.

"Absolutely.

People have jobs," Hing said.

"People seem to be happier.

There is some common sense now."

"I never agreed 100 percent of what [Trump has] said but I can stand behind [him], and

I can appreciate what the guy has done for the country," Hing said.

"The fact that black unemployment is at an all-time low and that the economy is actually

climbing; this crackdown on immigration.

Those are things that I believe in," Hing said.

Erwin Bruner of West Palm Beach Florida also traveled to D.C. for the march and rally.

He said he is a lifelong Democrat who voted for Barack Obama in 2012,but now he's a

conservative who supports Trump.

"Trump is clear in his message," Bruner said.

"He tells people like it is.

He's not afraid to tell people the truth."

Republicans Are Already Blaming Trump For Midterm Losses - Duration: 4:43.

Republicans are already ready to concede the 2018 midterms.

About a month and a half ago, republicans internally admitted and actually, one of them,

a GOP operative spoke to Axios, and they said, "Yeah, we're expecting to lose between 60

and 65 seats in the midterms.

We know that the democrats are going to take back the house of representatives."

But that language has kind of softened.

It's not longer, yeah, we're going to lose, we're going to do what we can to not lose

as many, but whatever.

Now, that mood has switched to anger, because today, again, according to a new report by

Axios, speaking to GOP operatives, they're already prepared to blame Donald Trump for

the coming midterm losses that they're projecting.

It is worth pointing out that they have now kind of rounded down their estimated losses,

and now, they think they may only lose like 25 seats.

I think it's going to be much more than that, but whatever.

They're slightly more optimistic, but they're still blaming Trump for it, because Trump

is hugely unpopular.

He's got these unpopular policies.

He's locking kids in cages, and he tried to take away your healthcare, and he gave that

massive tax cut to the wealthy.

All of these are things that those same republicans have gone along with without saying a word.

That's the thing the republicans don't get right now.

It's not just Trump, yes, he's unpopular, and yes, he's horrible.

That's not why you're losing.

That's not why people are turning on you.

Yes, there's plenty that have turned on you because of Trump.

But most of them, most of them are angry about your horrible policies.

And that's what republicans don't seem to understand today.

It's remarkably something that democrats do seem to understand.

They're actually running on issues this year for the first time in over a decade, and that's

why they're winning.

Republicans think that Donald Trump is responsible for all their problems, and it's not because

the republicans tried to take away your healthcare half a dozen times last year.

It's not because they lied to you about who was going to benefit from this tax cut.

It's not because they're complicit with the children being locked in cages at the border.

It's not because of any of the horrible policies that they have gone along with.

It's all because of Trump.

I'll tell you something, that's actually going to work out in the democrats favor, if they

take back the house, and especially if they take back the senate.

'Cause what's going to happen, if the midterm's already bloodbath.

If that blue wave materializes and washes over the house and senate.

Republicans are going to be more likely to go along with the idea of getting rid of Donald

Trump.

I've said this a lot, if democrats take back the senate, which they wouldn't get enough

to impeach, but taking back the senate alone, means that impeachment is 100% possible, removal

from office is possible.

How is it possible if you don't have the numbers to be able to do it?

Because taking back the senate is going to send a message to republicans that they have

a Donald Trump problem.

Now, it might not be the most accurate message, but that's the message they'll take away from

it.

If they think that that guy sitting in the White House is the problem, they're going

to be more likely to want to remove him.

Why?

Because in 2020, in addition to it being a presidential election year, you're going to

have, unlike this year, a majority of republicans in the senate up for reelection.

More seats to protect than they have to protect this year.

That's going to be a problem for them.

It's one thing to lose the senate by one or two seats.

If democrats get 51 or 52 people in there.

Then you only have to win back two, three, you're back on top.

But if you going to the next cycle and you lose another five or six or seven or more,

it's going to be hard to overcome that deficit.

You could be looking at losing the senate for a decade.

Republicans are always going to think that it's Trump's fault.

Even if the democrats can take back the senate by a 51 or 52 majority, I think it's going

to be fairly easy for them to find another 15 republicans to join with them, to remove

Donald Trump from office.

Maybe that's wishful thinking on my part, but based on what we've seen from these republicans,

based on what they're saying now, telling Axios, they're already blaming Donald Trump.

If the democrats are smart, they're going to use that anger that republican politicians

have against the president to their advantage, and get this psychopath out of office.
