Ever since the announcement that the United States was leaving the 1987 Intermediate-Range

The BBC reports Putin claiming the Russian reaction would be "very quick and effective."

All that panic isn't for nothing, but it's not missiles they should be worried about.

Engineers at New Mexico's Sandia National Laboratories have spent years designing a

nightmare for American adversaries: the B61-12.

The B61-12 is a guided nuclear bomb capable of being equipped to F-35s, and is slated

for full production in less than two years.

Putting a guided bomb on a stealth fighter is a no-brainer.

Deployed on a carrier-based aircraft, this would give the weapon almost unmatched range

and versatility for its power.

Power can be adjusted down to a fraction of the maximum yield, allowing for more flexibility

in use.

The maximum yield tops out at 50,000 tons of TNT equivalent.

A factory run of around 400 of the bombs is expected to cost $11 billion, which Mother

Jones reports as the most expensive nuclear bomb ever made.

The bomb is able to deliver triple the power of the "Little Boy" bomb dropped on Hiroshima.

The power of nuclear bombs is incredibly attractive to any military.

Seen as a status symbol of national power, these weapons have attracted the likes of

Iran and North Korea.

Both nations have pursued nuclear technology.

The horrors of nuclear warfare still have many wary about America developing more weapons.

Nobody ever wants more nuclear weapons.

With their destructive potential, a single launch would cause a snowball effect, creating

a worldwide catastrophe.

With the United States plugging gaps in its nuclear program, the chances of other countries

risking hitting "the button" are getting much slimmer.

Bush tried to push through a bipartisan compromise that would have offered the biggest changes to immigration laws in 20 years, including strengthened border security, but it collapsed amid opposition on both sides, including hardline conservatives who balked at granting some immigrants what they called "amnesty

" Trump has been focused on what options he has to deliver on his campaign promise to build a wall along the southern border, a proposal that has not had sufficient support in Congress

Omar Jadwat, director of the ACLU's Immigrants' Rights Project, said it was "disgraceful" that the Trump administration would even consider closing the border to asylum seekers

"It would mean refusing to protect people who can prove they are fleeing persecution," Jadwat said in a statement

"That would be a huge moral failure and any plan along these lines will be subject to intense legal scrutiny

" Under federal law, people can obtain asylum in the U.S. if they have credible evidence of persecution back home

Most asylum seekers pass an initial screening and then are either held in a detention center or released on bond while their cases wind through the immigration courts

Trump and his supporters say the system is broken because many people are released into the U

S. and fail to return to immigration court. But Trump's hardline policies, including a "zero-tolerance" approach that resulted in some 2,600 children separated from their parents at the border, seems to have had little effect on attempts by migrants to seek asylum

A separate caravan of Central Americans earlier this spring was undeterred by Trump's angry rhetoric and waited nearly a week to be processed

The latest caravan is estimated by the United Nations to have grown to more than 7,000 people who say they joined the dangerous journey because poverty and gang violence have limited their options

Overall, illegal border crossings plunged after Trump's election but are now returning to levels from before Trump took office

More than 396,000 people in the past year have been arrested trying to cross the southern border, a figure closer to 2016 levels after the number dropped to 304,000 in 2017

With the election days away and several tight races in play, Trump told supporters at a rally in Wisconsin this week to "wait until you see what happens over the next couple of weeks

The initial estimate is that 800 to 1,000 U.S. military personnel could deploy, primarily to help with logistics at the border

There are already about 2,000 National Guard troops called up by the governors of Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas

Like Guard troops already activated, these new active-duty troops will not be engaging with migrants but would retain the right to self-defense

"You're going to see a very secure border," Trump told voters earlier this week

"You just watch. Just watch. Very secure. And the military is ready. They're all set

They're all set." On Thursday, within minutes of giving a speech on drug prices at the Health and Human Services Department, Trump fired off a tweet on the caravan as though to pivot the conversation back to immigration

"To those in the Caravan, turnaround, we are not letting people into the United States illegally," he tweeted

"Go back to your Country and if you want, apply for citizenship like millions of others are doing!" Trump imposed a travel ban on several majority-Muslim nations shortly after taking office

The ACLU challenged that ban in court, as it would almost certainly do if Trump embraces a plan to deny asylum seekers at the southern border

But a version of Trump's travel ban on Muslim nations was ultimately upheld by a sharply divided Supreme Court, with the conservative majority taking his side in support of presidential power

Daily Caller reported on several of President Trump's other moments creating history within

the African American community.

"President Trump has delivered some historic achievements for black Americans during his

time in office so far.

The lowest black unemployment in recorded American history (5.9 percent) was reported

in May.

The smallest gap between white and black unemployment was also measured that month at 2.4 percent.

Trump also hosted rap mogul and megastar Kanye West at the White House to discuss a myriad

of important issues before the press in the Oval Office.

West wore a MAGA hat and espoused conservative principles to the bewilderment of mainstream

journalists."

As with all things Trump, this event also received criticism, but mostly from a small

crowd of social media users who might have a small penchant for disliking everything

that their president is doing.

While many applaud Trump's actions, there will always be some who oppose whatever he

does, and also those who choose to ignore his good moments while criticizing everything

else, painting a negative picture of his presidency in general.

Kanye West took massive amounts of hot criticism on the day he visited the White House in support

of Trump.

West encourages people to think for themselves and not what their political party tells them

to, or expects them too.

Many African Americans have spoken out against West, essentially disowning him from their

community because he supports President Trump.

West continues to speak for himself and no one else.

When Benny Johnson posted the video of young African Americans cheering for President Trump,

it sparked instant outrage from those who simply refuse to see the good in anything.

When the president of our country invites a room full of youthful, energetic, and patriotic

students to the White House, that's a good thing.

It's better to be inside the White House cheering and having fun than outside screaming

in a state of zombielike protest.

It should be noted that President Trump also had no problem spending time with people.

Although one look at the comments Johnson received on his post will show the level of

criticism that Trump is up against.

All we've been hearing about from MSM the last few days is "Trump is responsible for

the bomb packages!"

Perhaps it's a distraction from the migrant caravan invasion force that's headed towards

our border.

Bad news for Dems & MSM, though.

Trump may sign an executive order that will stop the caravan in its tracks.

"We all know the massive caravan headed for America was created by Democrats.

They sent "immigration activists" to migrant shelters in Honduras.

These liberals organized the caravan (and the newly formed ones) and coached these people

on what to say.

Because of the terrible laws passed under the Obama administration, these economic refugees

think they can waltz into the United States.

They seem to think they'll earn special privilege, insulting the many legal immigrants

who follow the rules.

But it looks like President Trump is making a swift move to derail their plans.

President Trump is considering a sweeping executive order that would block migrants,

including asylum seekers, from entering the U.S. at the southern border in a bid to stop

the caravan traveling north through Mexico.

The White House, if it goes ahead with the measure, would issue new regulations restricting

certain migrants from seeking asylum.

The rules would effectively block most if not all the migrants who are taking part in

the caravan, Politico first reported.

Fox News has learned the proposal originated out of the White House and is one of several

being considered.

No final decision has been made.

"The Administration is considering a wide range of administrative, legal and legislative

options to address the Democrat-created crisis of mass illegal immigration.

No decisions have been made at this time.

Nor will we forecast to smugglers or caravans what precise strategies will or will not be

deployed," a White House official said.

The order would be akin to Trump's previous aggressive immigration-blocking executive

orders, such as the travel ban aimed at halting people from some Muslim-majority countries

from entering the U.S.

Any attempt to block the entry of Central American migrants is likely to prompt legal

challenges, though Trump is likely emboldened following a Supreme Court ruling earlier this

summer that affirmed the president's right to bar the entry of migrants who "would

be detrimental to the interests of the United States."

The plan for the executive order comes just in the final stretch before the upcoming midterm

elections, with Trump trying to make the issue of caravan the defining topic as voters head

to the polls.

"Every time you see a caravan, or people illegally coming, or attempting to come, into

our country illegally, think of and blame the Democrats for not giving us the votes

to change our pathetic immigration laws!" Trump wrote in a tweet Monday.

"Remember the midterms!"

Hundreds of U.S. troops are also set to make their way to the southern border to help Homeland

Security and the National Guard as the caravan pushes north.

An official told Fox News on Thursday roughly 800 soldiers will be sent to the area to offer

"logistical support," including providing tents and vehicles.

It's not immediately clear which units are being tasked with the mission as details are

still being finalized.

There are currently 2,100 National Guard troops on the southern border assisting Homeland

Security.

Democrats, while previously outspoken regarding Trump's immigration policies, are staying

largely silent on the issue, instead preferring to remain focused on tackling the GOP on issues

like health care, saying it's the winning issue this election cycle.

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, the top

Democrats in the country, slammed Trump in a statement earlier this week regarding the

caravan of migrants, saying the president is "desperate" to change the conversation

because "health care is the number one issue Americans care about."

According to a Kaiser Family Foundation survey published last week, which surveyed people

since the beginning of the caravan earlier this month, the issue of immigration isn't

the top concern for voters.

It ranks below health care, which has consistently been viewed as the most important issue.

Other key issues have been the economy, jobs and policies concerning gun rights."

When First Lady Melania Trump recently gave a raw and open one-on-one interview with ABC

News two weeks ago, she stated that she was one of the most bullied people in the world.

Unlike her predecessor, Melania doesn't visit with sick kids and their families for

a few minutes and a few photo ops to bolster her reputation.

No matter where she travels, our first lady almost always includes a hospital visit in

her trip.

Most remarkably, she's made this her mission and habit here in the country she's proud

to represent and takes her role seriously as to make a positive and meaningful change.

Regardless of her goodwill and genuine compassion, liberals seem hell-bent on hating her.

This goes as far as to ruin her visit with sweet children who don't care about politics

and are just happy that someone as remarkable and kind as Melania came to see them.

Melania has been doing her part to fight the opioid epidemic that has consumed a mass amount

of Americans.

The true victims of this deadly addiction are the many children born to mothers hooked

on the drugs.

They're brought into this world addicted and forced to detox from day one.

Melania's heart is with them to know they are loved, which was what she was doing when

she was blindsided by Democrats on a recent visit.

First lady Melania Trump was greeted by a handful of protesters outside Thomas Jefferson

University Hospital in Philadelphia, where she visited an intensive care unit for newborns

suffering from opioid withdrawal Tuesday.

A few protesters held signs with slogans like "Melania Leave Philly!" and "Complicit"

and chanted "Shame on you, Melania!" and "Families belong together" outside the

hospital, according to a pool report.

Trump also spoke at a hospital conference on newborns exposed to opioids in the womb.

"As the caretakers of the next generation, it is our responsibility to protect our most

valuable and vulnerable, our children," Trump said, according to CNN.

Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar was also at the conference and discussed the

"heartbreakingly common" neonatal abstinence syndrome that affects babies born to mothers

who are addicted to drugs, reported CNN.

Trump joked about "a little delay" at the beginning of her remarks at the conference

after a mechanical issue forced her plane to return to Joint Base Andrews after taking

off around 9 a.m. for Philadelphia.

Smoke and a burning smell permeated the cabin of the plane, and reporters placed wet towels

on their faces at the recommendation of the flight crew, reported Peter Alexander of NBC

News.

FL Democrats Plan 'Trump Chicken' Stunt, Ends Up Backfiring - Duration: 3:19.

If you haven't had a particularly good week, you can at least thank the deity of your choice

that you aren't Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum.

The Tallahassee mayor and Democratic nominee was revealed to be in the crosshairs of an

FBI corruption sting, which he alternatively blamed on his family and/or racism, depending

on who he was talking to.

The allegation came in the same week that he was to appear in a debate with his Republican

opponent, former U.S. Rep. Ron DeSantis.

Thankfully for Gillum, the Democrats had his back.

They might not have had great arguments to counter the corruption charges, mind you ("That's

racism!" only goes so far in today's political environs, particularly given the fact that

it's been used with such frequency).

They may not have had the political winds at their back.

But they had an inflatable chicken with a visage like President Donald Trump's, and

that was going to make all the difference.

If only they had permission to display it.

Or even knew where to display it.

First, the chicken.

Here's the fowl that they thought was going to be a rebuke to the president — who wasn't

at the debate on Wednesday, of course, but that didn't stop anybody.

I'm not even sure what it's even supposed to represent, except that DeSantis received

the president's endorsement, but um — take that, Drumpf.

If anyone saw it, however, it was only on Twitter — and nobody from the Democrats

was around at the candidates' debate to "call out DeSantis' healthcare record."

According to the Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel, the chicken "had barely been inflated when

police arrived to tell the Democrats they were on the wrong property — the Nova Southeastern

University campus across the street (from debate venue Broward College) — and the

chicken had to come down."

"We should have asked permission," Florida Democrat spokesman Kevin Donohoe said in what

might have been the understatement of the week.

Thankfully for the Democrats, whatever money they dropped at Krazee Karl's House of Used

Car Lot Inflatable Figures won't entirely be a sunk cost.

"It's starting today and it will follow him around until Election Day," Donohoe

said.

"A sign accompanying the chicken shows a picture of DeSantis with a red rooster comb

atop his head with President Trump," the Sun-Sentinel reported.

"It says: 'Ron DeSantis is too chicken to stand up for your health care.'"

That's the punchline?

Really?

Obviously, they didn't think the inflatable Trump chicken through.

Not only is it patently ridiculous, it'll remind voters that Trump is not only creating

new jobs but new categories of jobs: Yes, even an inflatable chicken couldn't

change Andrew Gillum's terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad week.

Point and match, GOP.
