Trump news on Youtube Oct 12 2018

"But this hat, it gives me power in a way. My dad and my mom separated, so I didn't have

a lot of male energy in my home. And, also, I'm married to a family that, you know,

not a lot of male energy going on. It's beautiful, though! I love Hillary. I love

everyone. But the campaign "I'm With Her" just didn't make me feel, as a guy that

didn't get to see my dad all the time, like a guy that could play catch with his son.

It was something about when I put this hat on, it made me feel like Superman. You made

a Superman. That's my favorite super hero. And you made a Superman cape. And also as

a guy that looks up to you, that looks up to Ralph Lauren, that looks up to American

industry guys, non-political, no bullsh*t, put the beep on it, however you want to do

it, five seconds delay. And just goes in and gets it done."

Rapper Kanye West met Thursday with Donald Trump, telling the President in an Oval Office

meeting before reporters why he supports the Republican. The meeting had been billed by

the White House as one centered on urban revitalization, workforce training, African-American unemployment,

potential future clemencies and crime in Chicago.

West told reporters in the Oval Office that he had been asked to speak with the President

about the detriments of applying stop-and-frisk policing policies in Chicago. The President

has frequently praised the program, telling a group of law enforcement last week that

he has urged the city of Chicago to "strongly consider stop-and-frisk." The President said

during the White House meeting that he's "totally open" to an alternative to stop-and-frisk.

West also discussed clemency for Larry Hoover, who is serving life in prison in a Supermax

facility, calling him a "beacon" and "a living statue." Prosecutors alleged Hoover ran a

deadly Chicago gang called the the Gangster Disciples and oversaw a $100 million-a-year

illegal drug business from jail, according to The New York Times. Law enforcement authorities

caught him giving orders to associates when they would visit him in jail. It's unclear

how West learned about Hoover's case, but it has been on his radar for at least a few

weeks. He recently wore a "Free Hoover" sweatshirt in promotional material ahead of his controversial

appearance on "Saturday Night Live."

West recently made waves by wearing Trump's signature "Make America Great Again" hat during

an appearance on NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and delivering a pro-Trump speech after the

show went off the air.

CNN Under Fire for Segment Calling Kanye West Trump's "Token Negro" - Duration: 5:12.

CNN and host Don Lemon are facing increasing backlash from mental health professionals

after a recent discussion featuring guests who mocked hip-hop star and Trump supporter

Kanye West while making derogatory remarks about mental illness.

During the segment, CNN's Tara Setmayer said that "No one should be taking Kanye

West seriously," adding, "he clearly has issues.

He's already been hospitalized," while the rest of the panel gleefully laughed.

The discussion has sparked outrage, and earned CNN harsh condemnation from professors and

experts in the mental health field, who criticized the network and its panelists for "stigmatizing"

those who suffer from mental illness.

Lemon, an outspoken detractor of President Trump and his administration, was called out

by NFL legend Herschel Walker for his remarks on Kanye West, who said he was "appalled"

with the CNN discussion.

CNN host Don Lemon led a panel discussion with three CNN commentators as they gleefully

heaped scorn on Kanye West for meeting with President Trump to discuss prison reform and

for otherwise expressing support for the President (the video is below).

Among other things, West was pilloried for being both ignorant and exploited.

"Kanye West is what happens when Negroes don't read," CNN's Bakari Sellers said.

CNN's Tara Setmayer pronounced him "the token Negro of the Trump administration."

While those comments received some attention (only from conservative outlets, needless

to say), the laughter-driven attacks on West for his well-publicized medical treatment

for mental health issues were largely ignored.

But those comments, broadcast in prime-time by CNN on television and then widely disseminated

by the network on social media, were not just reprehensible, but genuinely dangerous.

"No one should be taking Kanye West seriously," Setmayer decreed.

Why not?

Because, she said, "he clearly has issues.

He's already been hospitalized."

Let's repeat that: No one should be taking Kanye West seriously.

He clearly has issues.

He's already been hospitalized.

Setmayer was referring to West's 2016 hospitalization in Los Angeles's Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical

Center.

In 2018, West spoke publicly and bravely about that hospitalization and the medical treatment

he has received for his mental health struggles, including a bipolar diagnosis.

West described how his doctors found the right balance of medication and therapies and he

decided to speak publicly about his medical treatment because, in his words, "I want

to change the stigma of mental health."

That was precisely the stigma that CNN and its various personalities exploited, played

with and strengthened by weaponizing West's medical treatment against him, using it to

disqualify him as someone who can be regarded as credible or serious.

After mocking West for his hospitalization, Setmayer quickly added: "You know not to

trivialize mental health issues" – something she had just blatantly done and then proceeded

immediately to do again, adding: "but I mean obviously, Kanye has taken a turn in

a very strange way.

You read any of his interviews, go back and read his interview with Charlamagne tha God.

It's all over the place."

Not only did Lemon nor any of the other panelists object, but they maintained their laughing,

giggling tone as this mockery was spouted.

Amazingly, after the segment was aired, CNN seemed not to be ashamed but quite proud of

it, as it promoted it online to its Twitter audience:

It should go without saying that West, as a public figure expressing controversial political

views, is fair game to be criticized, harshly or otherwise, for the substance of what he

says and does.

But exploiting his medical treatment for mental health issues to declare him unworthy of being

heard, or being incapable of cogent thought, is grotesque.

MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, particularly those who specialize in the effects of social

stigma on individuals with mental illness, have told the Intercept that the kinds of

comments aired by CNN often prevent patients from seeking the treatment they need due to

the shame associated with these conditions – a fear-driven failure that frequently

results in allowing these conditions to go untreated, sometimes leading to permanent

depression, incapacity and even suicide.

Worse, they said, the CNN discussion exploited, and lent credibility to, bigoted attitudes

toward people who have been treated for mental health conditions, attitudes which often prevent

them from finding employment or even shelter.

Kanye Slams Hillary Clinton At Trump Meeting: Insists 'There Needs To Be Male Energy In Oval Office' - Duration: 4:45.

Kanye Wes went a shocking rant in the Oval Office, stating that there needs to be a male president

Wearing a MAGA hat makes him feel like he has 'superpowers'! We have more of the rant here

Following wife Kim Kardashian's lead, Kanye West, 41, met with President Donald Trump, 72, and his son-in-law/senior advisor, Jared Kushner, 37, on October 11

But prior to their lunch, Kanye went on a fascinating and truly shocking, 10-minute rant in the Oval Office in front of the president and the press pool

His rant was so intense that even Trump seemed intimidated and was left speechless

At the top of his soliloquy, Kanye said that putting on his MAGA hat — which he wore to the meeting — made him "feel like Superman," and that while he loved Hillary Clinton, there needs to be "male energy" in the White House

He felt more connected to Trump because Clinton's slogan during the presidential race was "I'm With Her"

Yikes.    "My dad and mom separated so there was not a lot of male energy in my home and also I'm married to a family (the Kardashians) where, you know, there's not a lot of male energy

It's beautiful, though," he said. He became more and more belligerent, explaining that he wanted the 13th amendment, which abolished slavery, struck down

His reasoning: "13 is an unlucky number. They don't have 13th floors in building, do they?" He criticized people who say that he can't be conservative or Trump because he's black, yelling at reporters that President Trump isn't racist

At one point, he stood up and gave the president a huge hug, saying, "I love this guy

" When reporters tried to ask him more questions, he yelled, "I don't answer questions as simple soundbites

You are tasting a fine wine."  Trump and Kanye are now supposed to sit down for lunch at the White House to discuss "manufacturing resurgence in America, prison reform, how to prevent gang violence, and what can be done to reduce violence in Chicago," per White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders

Evan Vucci/AP/Shutterstock Kenya in the Oval Office, right now pic.twitter.com/rBblM0jFOZ  — Vivian Salama (@vmsalama) October 11, 2018    That wasn't Kanye's only agenda at the White House that day

He joined other artists (who support Trump) like Kid Rock to attend the signing of the Music Modernization Act

The act updates copyright law for the digital and streaming era, and is intended to accomplish three things: ensure songwriters and artists receive royalties on songs recorded by 1972; royalties for music producers; updating licensing and royalty rules for streaming services to pay rights-holders faster

Music industry officials are praising the act as "historic," according to our sister site Rolling Stone

Kanye has drawn ire lately for his public support of Trump, most recently through his tirade on Saturday Night Live

After the show went off-air, he effectively held the cast hostage onstage while he wore a MAGA hat announced his plans to run for presidency

He ranted about his support for Trump, saying, "It's so many times that I talk to a white person about this, and they say, 'How could you support Trump? He's racist

' Well, if I was concerned about racism, I would have moved out of America a long time ago," he said

"We don't just make our decisions off of racism. I'ma break it down to you right now … If someone inspires me and I connect with them, I don't have to believe in all they policies

" Trump was all about it, tweeting that Kanye was "leading the charge" for Trump supporters

Jimmy Kimmel joked on the October 9 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! that the topics of the meeting would "include prison reform, gang violence and how good it feels to unload like a maniac on Twitter

" Well… he wasn't wrong. "In this country the stars are lining up perfectly, and they are in perfect alignment, because on Thursday the doors of the White House will open to welcome none other than Kanye West

Now there's a devil's triangle for you, huh?"

Trump Just Used Jim Acosta to Promote his Own Rally, Look What he Did! - Duration: 1:50.

On Wednesday, President Trump tweeted a picture which was tweeted earlier by CNN's Jim Acosta,

depicting a large crowd awaiting the president's rally in Erie, Pennsylvania, later in the

evening.

"Couldn't let these great people down.

They have been lined up since last night – see you soon Pennsylvania!" Trump said, using

Acosta's photo without crediting him, in what many believe to be a playful jab at the

CNN reporter who has been one of his most vocal critics.

Acosta quickly noticed, pointing out that the picture "looks a lot like the pic I

tweeted earlier today," and later said "Life is funny."

From The Daily Caller:

President Donald Trump used a photo that CNN's Jim Acosta tweeted to promote his own rally

Wednesday.

Acosta is on the ground in Erie, Pennsylvania, where Trump will be holding a rally Wednesday

night.

"Big crowd lining up outside for Trump rally tonight in Erie, PA," Acosta tweeted with

a photo of a people lining up hours before the event.

Soon afterward, the president tweeted the exact same photo with the caption "Couldn't

let these great people down.

They have been lined up since last night – see you soon Pennsylvania!"

In a potentially subtle troll, the president did not credit Acosta.

Acosta noted that the picture "looks a lot like the pic I tweeted earlier today" and

"Life is funny" with side by sides of the images.

Trump's pattern of threatening his critics with blackmail - Duration: 2:05.

Looks likes Rob Porter and Gary Cohen were the sources, two of the sources for the book.

How does that make you feel?

I was very good to both of them and it could have been.

A lot of people have said that. Gary Cohen, I could tell stories about him like you wouldn't believe.

I like to expose people. I mean, I expose Megyn Kelly as not being very good.

I could tell you other things about Megyn Kelly that would be very harsh but I won't bother with that.

Trump posting on twitter "Be careful, Lyin' Ted, or I will spill the beans on your wife!"

And then, of course, you know, John McCain came in, and he went thumbs down at 3 o'clock in the morning,

and everybody, everybody.

Oh, I know so much, folks, I could tell you.

Tester started throwing out things that he's heard. Well I know things about Tester that I could say too.

And if I said them, he'd never be elected again.

I have seen that person in very bad situations. Okay?

I have seen that person in very, very bad situations.

Somewhat compromising. And, you know -- I think it's very unfair to bring up things like this.

However, whatever the Senators want is okay with me.

They destroy people, they want to destroy people.

These are really evil people

and then you see the people who are doing it

I know every one. I could tell you things about every one of them.

Melania Trump: The Most Bullied Person in the World - Duration: 2:45.

Hello everyone, welcome back to "'Winks' with Cynthia Tiddly."

I'm your host, Cynthia Tiddly, and this week we welcome back Melania Trump, here

to talk all about her trip to Africa. Welcome, Melania.

Oh, hello, U.S. Americans. It is I, Melania Trump, back from visiting

African Africans ... in Africa.

It is sad -- I don't understand why people are focusing

on my clothing, rather on what I did in Africa. Was important mission, and last

person who really made impact with African Africans was Lady Diana, so I

don't know what all the fuss is.

This hat has many different meanings to

many different people, but to me, means, "UV protection." My skin is very important, and yours should be, too.

Lot of criticism also for coming back to America and

still wearing "costume." Please. Is that all I was doing? Just dressing up, playing doll?

This shows a lack of respect for human American woman. I don't

know what this country is coming to with so little respect.

I "found" this rare white rhinoceros tusk! So many hidden treasures in Africa!

One major disappointment from trip was that I did not find any red diamonds.

So much talk I have heard about African bloody diamonds, but I did not find any.

Just rare tusk. I guess some people can't have it all, even though I am pretty close!

(music plays) I saw so many wonderful foreign animals, and I just

thought, "They are looking at me without judgement. I don't know why domestic ones can't do the same."

And what happened to Nikki Haley while I was gone?

I know there has been lots of talk that maybe Ivanka will get job, but what

about me? I have just recently proven world travel success, by solo.

Right, thank you so much, Melania. Em, and thank you, viewers, for

tuning in. Please subscribe to my channel, and we'll see you next week.

Thank you. Cynthia Tiddly.

Trump: 'I have more Indian blood' than Sen. Warren, 'and I have none' - Daily News - Duration: 4:24.

President Donald Trump said Thursday that while he believes Sen. Elizabeth Warren 'faked' her claim of American Indian heritage, he hopes she and other likely Democratic presidential candidates 'stay healthy' and continue their march to 2020

That way, he said, the party's stalwart retreads might crowd out its younger, newer blood

'So far I like every one of them. I just hope they stay healthy and I hope they fight it out,' the president said during an extended-play interview on 'Fox & Friends

'The Fox hosts gave him a list to consider – former Vice President Joe Biden, New Jersey Sen

Cory Booker, California Sen. Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State John Kerry, Vermont Sen

Bernie Sanders and Warren, a Massachusetts senator.'Any one of them I'd like,' Trump replied

'I just hope that we don't get any star or good thinker coming out of nowhere.' As Warren raises her national profile, Trump has returned more often to criticizing her long-claimed but unproven Cherokee lineage and ridiculing her as 'Pocahontas' in public speeches

'She faked her heritage for years and used that. She can't prove anything,' he said Thursday

'She said her mother told her she had high cheekbones, therefore she's got Indian blood

You know what? I have more Indian blood in me than she does, and I have none, unfortunately

But I have none.'Warren has disputed claims from Republicans that she obtained preferential hiring treatment at Harvard University and elsewhere by leveraging her claim about an American Indian ancestry to trigger affirmative action rules intended to help minorities

She continues to maintain that Cherokee lore was part of her family tradition growing up, but she has de-emphasized it since winning her Senate seat in 2012

At the same time, Warren has resisted calls to take a DNA test that could prove she's part Native American

During a July rally in Montana, Trump said that if Warren were to be the Democratic presidential nominee, he would bring a DNA test kit with him to a head-to-head debate

'You know those little kits they sell on television for two dollars? Learn your heritage!' he mocked

'We will take that little kit and say, but we have to do it gently, because we're in the MeToo generation, so we have to be very gentle,' Trump said to laughter as he pantomimed an underhand throw

Share this article Share 'And we will very gently take that kit, and we will slowly toss it – hoping it doesn't hit her and injure her arm, even though it only weighs probably two ounces

''We will say, "I will give you a million dollars to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you're an Indian"

'Trump repeated later in Thursday's interview that he's comfortable with the idea of running against any of the Democrats' current field of likely 2020 primary contenders

'I don't see a name that I don't like,' he said.He rattled off a list of economic victories including low unemployment and job creation numbers, concluding that his chances are good

'With everything we're doing – I don't know – you know, why wouldn't I do well in the election?' Trump asked
