Trump Says China HACKED Hillary Clinton Email FBI Says NO
President Trump calling for a new
investigation into Hillary Clinton's
private email server earlier today the
president tweeting quote
Hillary Clinton's emails many of which
are classified information got hacked by
China next move better be by the FBI and
DOJ or after all of their other missteps
call me McCabe's Drock page or FISA
dirty dossier etc their credibility will
be gone forever
the president seemed to be referencing a
Daily Caller report that cited anonymous
sources in the intelligence community
the FBI later countering that quote the
FBI has not found any evidence that the
servers were compromised end quote the
Chinese foreign ministry for their part
also denying the report lol of course
they would but is the president right to
call out the intelligence community as
potentially compromised joining me now

coming out and thanks for having me on
all right so let's start with this Daily
Caller report what we saw from the
president his tweets and the FBI denying
it right denying this whole suggestion
or report that China hacked into Hillary
Clinton's bootleg basement email server
I'm reminded everyone from Robert Gates
to Jim Comey to Mike Morell said that
the chances were high that a hostile
foreign power did get into that unsecure
server you paid very close attention to
this while you were in Congress what do
you think the truth is here oh I think
it's highly probable and and most likely
that it did happen we heard testimony
from the Inspector General Michael
Horowitz that they did believe that
there was an intrusion on this computer
when I was the chairman of the Oversight
Committee we heard testimony from the
person who set up the server did not
have a degree in computer science had
never taken a computer course it
literally kind of you know went down to
Best Buy and then set it up in the
basement there I mean literally that's
how sloppily this was was done we
never did get testimony from the Secret
Service you would think that would take
some ownership a given that was in
former President Clinton's home but
nevertheless it's I can't imagine that a
she wasn't targeted of course she was
she was Secretary of State and then even
his former Secretary of State she was a
presidential candidate most likely at
that point and it's almost impossible to
think that even some guy down at by the
river in a van could have done this
probably it it's not a local seventeen
year old at your local high schooler
well there are some obvious upsides to
storing classified information on a
private server in your basement but one
of the downsides is that foreign
adversaries could hack it wouldn't be
that hard according to the Daily Caller
news foundation that happened to Hillary
Clinton they say a Chinese owned company
did it and may have had real-time access
to her emails during her tenure as
Secretary of State
the FBI is denying that sort of but the
story is still fluid and confusing and
for some reason a lot of people don't
seem that interested in finding out what
actually happened tom Fitton is in the
business of finding out what happened
he's the president Judicial Watch and he
joins us tonight so tom this seems like
one of those stories and I just want to
be completely clear as we were last
night I don't know the answer I don't
know what happened of course but I do
think it's worth finding out and so I'm
a little bit confused by the confusion
why wouldn't we know conclusively years
later what happened to those emails well
there are a few questions did this
meeting take place as alleged between
officials at the office Director of
National Intelligence and Peter struck
and his colleagues at the FBI and was
there discussion about compromise the
server by Chinese front company right
that it happened did they look into it
that they follow up on it
we're not getting much feedback from the
FBI why would it be hard I mean again
you're in the business of getting
government to divulge things at once to
hide so why would it be so hard to get
an answer to a very simple question like
that because the answer would be
embarrassing we note separately that we
went to the FBI we set up a meeting
through Peter struck because we had
evidence that the Russians had
compromised Hillary Clinton's server our
guy met with the strux team for four
hours they never followed up on any of
it
compelling was the evidence that you had
what was compelling enough that the
person who's doing it for so have
security clearance thought he had to go
to the FBI and tell them that there
might have been a classified compromised
of information by these Russia type
servers and the document that we had
found came from the same groups of
server numbers that were affiliated with
Hillary Clinton's server pretty
substantial evidence that we gave it to
the FBI no evidence that it was done
anything was followed up on so did they
ever get back to you about it no they
never got back to us but also call me
you know Comey is the best witness here
because he said well you know we didn't
have any evidence that the her server
was classified which wasn't necessarily
true but he admitted that look they
could have done it without us knowing
about it we'd never know about it
because they could have covered their
tracks so no one's ruled out that her
server has been compromised in fact
Comey said we just assumed it had been
compromised and sadly we've sued this
administration for its failure do a
damage assessment caused by her leaving
classified information on the public
equivalent of the internet equivalent of
a public park bench and they fight us on
this they said it wasn't serious enough
to warrant a damage assessment
well the deep state doesn't want to do a
damage assessment they don't want to
grapple with this because to do so would
undermine the fiction that what Hillary
did cause no damage and deserve no
prosecution I think you could take
Hillary out of the equation and still be
appalled by it as the Chinese military
hacking into the personal accounts of
high American officials yes they are
let's find out the details tom Fitton I
hope you do find out the details now if
you bring them here I think Jerry State
Hillary Clinton's private email server
was reportedly hacked by another foreign
entity that issue had been raised before
but now looks like we have some
confirmation it was a Chinese owned
company they inserted code that
forwarded Clinton's emails to them in
real time that according to the Daily
Caller News Foundation even worse the
FBI was reportedly warned about this by
the Intel community's Inspector General
but did nothing in response here with
his reaction is investigative journalist

this doesn't come as any surprise to any
of us who would follow this issue there
is no security on this private email
server classified information clearly on
it what is your takeaway apparently no
Russia but yes China yeah Laura this is
a huge story and I'll tell you why think
about this for a second if this story is
true and the reporter that broke this
story mr. pollak is an excellent
reporter if this story is true it means
that the only set of all of Hillary
Clinton's emails the Secretary of State
resides in Beijing China because
remember she deleted 30,000 emails and
never turned them over to the FBI if you
think about the steel dossier the
concern that was always raised about
that fake dossier was that it would lead
to a blackmail on Donald Trump these
emails would be a massive blackmail tool
for the Chinese against Hillary Clinton
those 30,000 deleted emails were
personal emails they were probably very
sensitive that's why they were deleted
in the first place
you have the existing set of the other
30,000 this is a huge story and the fact
that this information was discovered
then turned over to the FBI and the FBI
counterintelligence office including mr.
Peter struck apparently took no interest
in it is shocking you know China is the
big threat here they are the rising
power challenging the United States
Russia's the declining power if I were
looking at a intelligence threat the
number one threat would be China that's
what this FBI director today is saying
China's the one we're worried about but
there was no interest in this apparently
by mr. struck and others it's a shocking
story yeah Peter I think you reported
that on this at the time I believe when
this email server was discovered it also
came out I believe that the person in
charge of Hillary's security on her
system was told we might have had some
intrusions in the system and kind of
blew off the concern I had to go back to
get the actual language so I get it
verbatim but that
was reported that he I guess to
investigators he said that will wit
there was a concern raised but basically
he was shut down when he raised this
that period that's exactly that's
exactly right the service that that was
taking care of the service raised this
with the Clinton people and it was
dismissed because they didn't want
attention focused on the even existence
of the server so the way they tried to
cope with this was pretending that the
server wasn't there this is a massive
breach and look we were told in the 2016
campaign that Hillary Clinton was the
adult she's the professional she's the
diplomat that knows how to get things
done and to do things in an orderly way
this thing that was a massive failure
yeah well she knows how to get things
done to cover up for the Clintons and
Clinton Foundation I guess but get
things done for the American people she
got a lot done for China and I say thank
God
Hillary Clinton wasn't elected given the
fact that if this story is true China
has a treasure trove of information
which I don't think is just about her
daughter's wedding or her grandkids or
whatever yoga class there I don't think
the Chinese care about you know the down
dog and Hillary I think they're
interested in some other issues yeah no
that's that's exactly right and and the
bottom line here is I think if you gave
any counterintelligence official a
choice between being concerned about a
discredited dossier or being concerned
that your President of the United States
has 60,000 emails in the possession of
an enemy power and you don't even know
what's in 30,000 of them I think they
would view that as a much larger
counterintelligence threat than anything
that's raised by the dossier that's why
this is she needs to be reinvestigated
and looked at it's a counterintelligence
issue and should do should should
convene an investigation a real serious
investigation just into this issue alone
