Trump Announces Plan To Unleash DOJ On Obama Officials

President Trump is officially demanding that the Department of Justice investigate whether

the FBI "infiltrated" his 2016 campaign during the Obama administration.

"I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look

into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political

Purposes – and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!"

Trump tweeted.

That post came in the wake of eight tweets the president let loose on Sunday about special

counsel Robert Mueller's Russia probe.

He called it "the world's most expensive Witch Hunt."

He not only denied collusion, but called for Hillary Clinton's campaign to be investigated

for her use of a private email server when she was Obama's secretary of state.

Trump's harsh "demand" tweet came in response to a New York Times report Friday

that an FBI informant met with several Trump campaign associates in the summer of 2016.

Rep. Devin Nunes, the GOP chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, has asked the

DOJ to release documents concerning why the FBI launched an investigation into the Trump

campaign.

Nunes said if the FBI ran a spy ring inside Trump's campaign outfit that "is an absolute

red line."

"There is no possible way that we should be allowing, even if it was legal, we should

never allow this in this country," Nunes said on Fox's "Sunday Morning Futures."

"Congress should not allow for anything like this to ever occur again to any political

campaign, if it in fact happened."

Schiff: "Abuse of Power" Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on

Nunes' committee, said Trump's actions are an "abuse of power."

"Trump's claim of an embedded 'spy' is nonsense.

His 'demand' DOJ investigate something they know to be untrue is an abuse of power,

and an effort to distract from his growing legal problems," Schiff said in a tweet.

"Never mind that DOJ has warned that lives and alliances are at risk.

He doesn't care."

Rudy Giuliani, Trump's lawyer, said the president would be "walking into a trap"

if he agreed to be interviewed by the special counsel.

The legal team wants clarification on the role of the informant first.

"What we intend to do is premise it on, 'If you want an interview, we need an answer

to this,'" Giuliani told the Wall Street Journal in an interview published on Sunday.

Trump's legal team needs to know whether the FBI informant compiled "incriminating

information" about the aides.

A spokeswoman said the DOJ has asked the agency's inspector general to expand the investigation

launched in March.

"As always, the Inspector General will consult with the appropriate U.S. Attorney if there

is any evidence of potential criminal conduct," Sarah Isqur Flores said.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said in a statement: "If anyone did infiltrate

or surveil participants in a presidential campaign for inappropriate purposes, we need

to know about it and take appropriate action."

Informant Identified As Cambridge Professor Cambridge professor Stefan Halper was identified

by several news outlets as the informant.

He met with campaign aides Carter Page, Sam Clovis and George Papadopoulos in the summer

of 2016.

Page and Clovis testified to grand juries.

Papadopolous pleaded guilty in October 2017 to lying to the FBI about his contacts with

Kremlin-linked Russians and is cooperating in the Mueller probe.

The FBI had been monitoring Page since 2013 when they learned Russian agents were trying

to recruit him.

The Mueller investigation reached the one year mark last week.

The president, his legal team and some Republican allies have increased their attacks on the

former FBI director.

when they're a confidential human source I think is doing a disservice to these

individuals but also to the FBI but like most Liars they can't keep their stories

DNC and the FBI in order to get a court to approve spying on Trump's campaign

and they were allowed to spy on the campaign for a year they kept it close

only the highest level of the FBI not the field offices the highest levels

work together to take Trump down they planned insurance in the event their

girl Hillary didn't win they leaked information harmful to Donald Trump to

the press and it was a head of the FBI at the best of James clapper who

privately told the president about the fake dossier so that they could leak it

to the press and the world so who you gonna believe take a look at this chart

ever been an anonymous source in news reports about the Trump or Clinton

investigations he replied never but mr. leaker himself had to admit that he did

very purpose of getting that dossier out to the public and Comey said this

amazing an attorney general Loretta Lynch who pushed to call the Clinton

who the director of the National Intelligence Agency pretty much lies

whenever he opens his mouth like when he lied before Congress and answer to a

quite direct question about whether or not his agency collected data on

hundreds of millions of Americans he said no not wittingly he also lied

whole country is celebrating because of the success of President Trump the State

Department a senator corker went down there met with President Maduro came

home I know congresswoman Mia love these members of

Congress were personally any opportunity they could to speak to the president the

Secretary of Pompeo two colleagues other ambassadors to other countries they did

whatever they can to make sure that he was coming home and his wife that's

misconduct at the highest levels of the DOJ and FBI when you look at FISA abuse

how and why the Hillary Clinton email probe ended how and why the Trump Russia

probe began 25 members of Congress signed on to this 12-page House

Resolution 9 0-7 this week there are other members of Congress including

people who are leadership committee chairs who have also come out in favor

of a second Special Counsel we need transparency we need accountability we

also need to do so as you pointed out this wasn't rank and file in field

offices oh yeah the the ranks of the DOJ and FBI are filled with people who love

our country and I don't say that enough either I mean I worked with them for 30

years they're fabulous but will this make a difference

congressman we all know we need a second special counsel what's so great is that

a year ago many of the facts that were aren't there in this 12-page resolution

where I'm not known by Congress they were not known by the American public in

the media but these are faxed and now this resolutions been out there for a

few days what's amazing is that no one in this country has been able to poke a

hole in a single word of this resolution it's all factual well and when you say a

single word I'm you make allegations like it was further not disclosed to the

FISA Court that the wife of fourth ranking DOJ official Bruce or worked for

fusion GPS and that Christopher Steele directly transmitted the dossier and

other information through Bruce or for submission to the FISA Court I mean you

know we could go on for hours about how corrupt this was but who ultimately

appoints the second Special Counsel the the power is in the Justice Department

and you can't expect the DOJ and FBI that I could do Jeff Sessions I'm sorry

he recused himself he's not doing it right Rosenstein isn't gonna do it you

have an inspector general who's been doing actually a pretty good job but he

can't you're right and Congress can't prosecute either right so this

information or to hold these people accountable to DOJ and FBI there's go

to be a need to appoint a second special counsel we have a special counsel right

now investigating the president for nothing for nothing okay but I want to

back up I want to get to my to what I'm saying

I applaud you for this but this doesn't make a difference in terms of getting

someone from the Department of Justice to a point and let me ask you this if

the president were to declassify information that would make it

unequivocal what happened in this last campaign that they literally tried to

take down a candidate and infiltrated a political opposing party in a

presidential year if he could do that then there'd have to be a second Council

the president should the Wall Street Journal editorial eyes with a burka is

leading Pro national security law enforcement publication they came out in

favor of the president declassifying what's it what's amazing is that while

congressional Democrats and many in the media have not wanted the public to get

any of this information it's very telling that congressional Republicans

and others in the media and others throughout the country they want more

information out so if the presidency classifies the FISA application you can

if there's anything as far as sources and methods you need to redact that's

fine we want the American public to get as much information it's possible to

Another promise kept!

On Friday, President Trump signed executive orders that will make it easier to unload

lazy federal workers and limit the POWER Unions wield.

President Trump signed executive orders Friday that take aim at what White House officials

described as an overly bureaucratic and extensive process of firing "poorly performing"

civil servants.

The orders would also limit the power and funding from the federal unions set up to

protect them.

The head of the largest federal workers' union said the Trump administration "seems

hellbent on replacing a civil service that works for all taxpayers with a political service

that serves at its whim."

In a call with reporters, administration officials described the three executive orders taking

a wide variety of actions, including rolling back the amount of time that "poorly performing"

civil servants have to correct their behavior before being fired – and making it harder

for fired workers to move to a separate agency.

A second executive order will create a federal 'Labor Relations Working Group' intended

to analyze government contracts with federal unions and remove "wasteful expenditures."

The third executive order restricts the amount of time federal employees can spend on "union

work," and aims to charge federal unions for rent space in federal buildings and eliminates

their ability to expense their travel to the government.

The order will also halt payments to unions specifically related to their time lobbying

Congress.

The officials pushed back on the idea that the moves were politically motivated, insisting

that it was more about increasing efficiency in government and saving taxpayer dollars.

"This executive order is about promoting better use of taxpayer dollars and helping

support the hundreds of thousands of federal civil servants that come to work every day

to do a great job on behalf of their country and have consistently said the government's

inability to effectively manage poor performing employees is a problem," one official said.

"We don't view this as an administration as a particularly political issue."

White House Director of the Domestic Policy Council Andrew Bremberg said in a statement

that the orders are in line with the public opinion inside the civil service itself.

"Every year the federal employee viewpoint survey has consistently shown that less than

one-third of federal employees believe that poor performers are adequately addressed by

their agency," Bremberg said.

"These executive orders will make it easier for agencies to remove poor performing employees

and ensure that taxpayer dollars are more efficiently used."

Federal worker unions quickly objected.

The American Federation of Government Employees, which represents about 700,000 federal workers,

issued a statement saying "President Trump is attempting to silence the voice of veterans,

law enforcement officers, and other frontline federal workers through a series of executive

orders intended to strip federal employees of their decades-old right to representation

at the worksite."

"This is more than union busting – it's democracy busting," AFGE National President

J. David Cox said in the statement.

"These executive orders are a direct assault on the legal rights and protections that Congress

has specifically guaranteed to the 2 million public-sector employees across the country

who work for the federal government."

As for the amount of taxpayer dollars saved as a result of the orders, the officials said

their current estimates predict that it will save taxpayers "at least $100 million"

annually."

They could not say just how many civil servants would be cut from the federal government as

a result

the orders.

To date since taking office, President Trump has rescued 17 Americans held hostage in foreign

countries outside the US.

He continued his winning streak yesterday by bringing home Mormon missionary Joshua

Holt, 26, after spending two years in a Venezuelan prison.

Recently, Holt posted on Facebook that he feared for his life inside Helicoide prison.

He pleaded for someone to help get him out of there and that is exactly what President

Trump did.

"You were a tough one, I have to tell you," Trump told Holt.

"You've gone through a lot, more than most people could endure," Trump said.

And he's so right on that point.

Listen to this plea from Holt shortly before he was released.

"The people have taken the entire prison.

They're outside.

They're trying to break in.

They're saying they want to kill me, they're saying they want me as their guarantee.

I need help," Holt said in one terrifying video.

"I'm just overwhelmed with gratitude," Holt emotionally stated while thanking the

President for helping him.

How he survived being in prison in Venezuela for two years, we'll never know.

They tend to starve their prisoners to death because it's too expensive to feed them.

That's if the gangs in the prison don't get your first, not to mention the specter

of being tortured to death.

Holt's rescue, which occurred overnight as he was whisked dramatically by plane back

to the states with his wife and daughter, is a far cry from what happened under Obama's

presidency.

Obama paid $400 million in ransom to the Iranians for four Americans.

Trump paid nothing for Holt's release, and left harsh sanctions in place until Maduro

restores freedom in his socialist country.

At the time, Obama lied and said it was not a ransom payment.

Trump hasn't lied and has done far more for hostages than Obama ever thought of doing.

Holt would have died in that prison if Clinton had been elected, bet on it.

Trump's actions are far, far different than Obama's and Clinton's and he has saved

many lives.

Holt said tongue-in-cheek that his trip to Venezuela was "not really the great vacation,

that I was looking for" and thanked his wife for helping him get through the time

he spent in prison.

He traveled to Venezuela in 2016 to marry his wife Thamy, who he had met online while

looking for Spanish-speaking Mormons to help him learn the language.

He was immediately taken into custody by the Venezuelan government and imprisoned for two

years without a trial.

Holt was arrested on charges of espionage on June 30, 2016, and was then accused of

stockpiling an assault rifle and grenades, suggesting his case was linked to other unspecified

US attempts to undermine Maduro's rule amid deep economic, and political turbulence.

His wife was also jailed for being Holt's accomplice.

Holt's tearful parents thanked the President and all the members of Congress, who advocated

on their behalf: Senator Bob Corker R-TN and Utah members of Congress, Senator Mike Lee,

Senator Orrin Hatch and Rep. Mia Love.

After shaking Hatch's hand, Holt bear-hugged his mother, who was crying.

He father also gave his son a huge hug and while grinning, quipped.

"We need somebody to mow the lawn," he said.

"It's about time."

"I don't think that there is a person in the United States right now that doesn't

realize that you have their back," Mia Love told President Trump.

"I so wanted to personally thank you for keeping a promise that you made to me.

Every time I would go and see you, I would bring up Joshua's name, and you would say,

I'm going to do everything I can.

And obviously, I believe it.

Utah wants to thank you, Mr. President, for making this happen.

We wouldn't have been able to do this without you."

Mia Love then informed Holt, "Your mom never let us forget about you, she is one of the

strongest women I know."

Senator Orrin Hatch was instrumental in Holt's release and thankful to President Trump.

"This wouldn't have happened without you," he said.

"We just want you to know that And to know that we can rely on you and count on you,

and talk to you, and meet with you these are all very important things.

We love you, boy, and we just want to support you every way we can."

"We could actually write a book about the last 48 hours," Corker said.

Their release came after Tennessee GOP Sen. Bob Corker, chairman of the Senate Foreign

Relations Committee, met with Venezuela's president, Nicolas Maduro, two days after

the socialist dictator kicked out the top US diplomat in the country.

His release was the outcome of months of secret, back channel talks about Holt between one

of the senator's aides and close allies of the Venezuelan president.

Holt's Venezuelan wife, Thamara, was also freed and brought to the US with her daughter.

Senator Mike Lee warmly welcomed Thamy to the US and spoke to her in Spanish, "Welcome

to our country which is now your country."

She had been held in a notorious Caracas prison run by the secret police, that's also home

to dozens of Maduro's top opponents who have been jailed during the past few years

of political unrest in the country.

"We are all, as a group, very happy," President Trump said.

But Maduro is not off the hook by any means.

This is viewed as a gesture of goodwill and it cost the US nothing but diplomacy.

Time will tell whether the US will dance with Venezuela.

But for now, President Trump should be lauded for bringing another American son home at

long last.

President Trump has been serious since he ran for office that he wanted to change our

country back to a society where we should not be shamed for being Christian or for praying.

And he has fulfilled and stayed true to this promise.

His most recent actions are a good indicator of that.

President Trump declared a national day of prayer – Specifically for the victims of

Hurricane Harvey.

The Los Angeles Times reported,

"The president was joined Friday in the Oval Office by leaders of the Salvation Army,

the American Red Cross and Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.

He commended the families and rescue workers dealing with the remnants of the massive storm

in Texas and Louisiana."

The declaration read as follows, "Hurricane Harvey first made landfall as a Category 4

storm near Rockport, Texas, on the evening of August 25, 2017.

The storm has since devastated communities in both Texas and Louisianna, claiming many

lives, inflicting countless injuries, destroying or damaging tens of thousands of homes, and

causing billions of dollars in damage.

The entire Nation grievers with Texas and Louisiana.

We are deeply grateful for those performing acts of service, and we pray for healing and

comfort for those in need.

Americans have always come to the aid of their fellow countrymen — friend helping friend,

neighbor helping neighbor, and stranger helping stranger — and we vow to do so in response

to Hurricane Harvey.

From the beginning of our Nation, Americans have joined together in prayer during times

that came from the Social Security Administration, They have happily announced that Social Security

and Supplemental Security Income benefits for over 66 million Americans will increase

2 percent during 2018, an increase coming instead of a decrease, giving back a few more

dollars to people who've worked hard their entire lives.

The 2% cost-of-living adjustment will begin with benefits payable to more than 61 million

Social Security beneficiaries in January 2018 and continue with the rest later in the year.

The Social Security Act ties the annual COLA to the increase in the Consumer Price Index

as determined by the Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics in 2017.

Some other adjustments that take effect throughout 2018 are based on the increase in average

wages.

Based on that increase, the maximum amount of earnings subject to the Social Security

tax will increase to $128,700 from $127,200.

Of the estimated, 175 million workers who will pay Social Security taxes in 2018 and

about 12 million of which will pay more because of the increase in the taxable maximum.

This has been stated as the largest increase since 2012, but people would like to see even

more of an increase if possible.

Of course, that could depend on where people live as the cost of living might be different

in New York compared to a midwestern state.

The following press release was posted on SSA.Gov: "Monthly Social Security and Supplemental

Security Income (SSI) benefits for more than 66 million Americans will increase 2.0 percent

in 2018, the Social Security Administration announced today.

The 2.0 percent cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) will begin with benefits payable to

more than 61 million Social Security beneficiaries in January 2018.

Increased payments to more than 8 million SSI beneficiaries will begin on December 29,

2017.

(Note: some people receive both Social Security and SSI benefits) The Social Security Act

ties the annual COLA to the increase in the Consumer Price Index as determined by the

First Lady Melania Trump has been home from the hospital for exactly a week now, but it's

been a whopping 15 days since she's been seen publicly.

After spending five days in the hospital after a sudden kidney surgery, Americans assumed

she was doing better and ready to get back to work in White House role.

So it came as a shock when there's continually been no sight or sound from her.

Now, President Trump has just released an unexpected statement about his wife who everyone

is wondering about and concerned about her condition.

The last time the country was graced with our first lady's presence was on May 10,

when she welcomed home three American hostages from North Korea at Joint Base Andrews, with

the president, according to the Washington Post.

Just four days later, she was rushed to Walter Reed to undergo what's typically an outpatient

kidney procedure but stayed under the hospital's care for almost a week.

Although she returned to the White House on May 19, as of the 26th, she hasn't been

seen.

Trump had assured the country that her surgery was successful and she's doing well.

He was even quoted saying she's "right there," and pointed to a window in the White

House when asked by prodding reporters why she's so-called "missing" and how she's

recovering.

She's certainly allowed privacy while she's recuperating, even if her detractors don't

want to accept that and start conspiracies about her instead.

Since speculations are running amok, President Trump has had enough and is addressing the

concerns about his wife.

Independent Journal Review reports:

"She's doing great," the president told reporters before climbing aboard Marine One

and heading to the Naval Academy commencement ceremony on Friday.

"She's looking at us right there."

According to the Washington Post, President Trump then pointed to a window in the White

House, but reporters who turned to look failed to catch a glimpse of the first lady.

A spokesperson from the first lady's office addressed the public about her plan to resume

her regular scheduled.

IJR continued:

This week, the first lady's office did not indicate when she's expected to resume public

events but did reveal she has been holding meetings with her staff in the meantime.

"We've had several internal staff meetings in the past week around a variety of topics,

including her initiatives," her spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham told the Post in an email.

Melania's longtime friend Paolo Zampolli added that he has communicated with her via

text message since her release from the hospital and that she "seems to be recovering well."

Melania isn't just the first lady, she's also a mother to a young son who, like many

children in the country, is finishing up his school year.

The last week or two can be busy and Melania is a mother who has regularly been described

as "very hands on."

That's what makes her even more incredible as a person and example to others.

It's a reasonable assumption at this point that she's been busy with their son Barron,

at least as a possible purpose for her absence from the public.

Considering the immense amount of unwanted and unwarranted negative attacks on the youngest

Trump son, it's also understandable that the first family would want to keep his name

out of addressing concerns of where Melania is, and attention off this child.

Since a statement hasn't been made on where Melania has been, it's only speculation.

However, logical conclusions are better than conspiracy theories that liberals love to

create to make this family and the Trump's marriage look bad.

sensitive passwords over into the hands of foreign agents.

When Abedin was Clinton's Deputy Chief of Staff at the State Department, she sent passwords

for her government laptop to her Yahoo account on August 24, 2009.

"Crooked Hillary Clinton's top aide, Huma Abedin, has been accused of disregarding basic

security protocols.

She put Classified Passwords into the hands of foreign agents.

An FBI report states that on August 16, 2010, Abedin received an email "with the subject

'Re: your yahoo acct.'

"Abedin was shown an email dated October 4, 2009, with the subject 'Fwd: US interest

in Pak Paper 10-04' which Abedin received from [redacted] and then forwarded to her

Yahoo email account….

At the time of the email, [redacted] worked for Richard Holbrooke who was the Special

Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan (SRAP).

Abedin was unaware of the classification of the document and stated that she did not make

judgments on the classification of materials that she received," the report said.

Though it is clear that Clinton and Abedin mishandled classified information, they were

never prosecuted after an investigation led by disgraced FBI counterintelligence agent

Peter Strzok determined that Clinton's behavior did not warrant litigation.

"We do assess that hostile actors gained access to the private email accounts of individuals

with whom Secretary Clinton was in regular contact from her private account," said

Comey when explaining the FBI's exoneration of the former Secretary of State.

The Trump administration, in a major reversal of Obama administration policy, is seeking

to shutter every Iranian nuclear enrichment site, including its heavy water reactors,

which could provide Iran with a second, plutonium-based pathway to a nuclear weapon, according to

U.S. officials and others familiar with the policy shift.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, in his first major policy address, called on Iran to shutdown

its heavy water nuclear power plants, which were allowed by the Obama administration under

the landmark nuclear agreement and laid the groundwork for Tehran and Russia to ink multi-billion

dollar deals to build new nuclear reactors throughout the country, construction that

is already underway.

This measure by Pompeo is being met with approval by the Trump administration, who understand

that Iran's production of this heavy water is a further violation of their promise to

suspend their nuclear activity.

Heavy water is a nuclear-enriched byproduct, and Iran produced far more than was allowed

under the agreement.

Obama's attempts to stop this practice were to purchase Iran's excess heavy water using

taxpayer dollars.

President Trump immediately reversed that decision and is proving to be much more determined

to stop a nuclear Iran than Obama ever was.

Obama merely wanted Iran to develop a nuclear weapon slowly, while Trump is stopping them

from getting one altogether.

If Iran chooses to continue manufacturing nuclear weapons, they will be met with even

more economic sanctions, something that the country cannot afford.

But Trump is not backing down.

Ultimately dealing with enemies with strength gives hope that we can turn them into friends,

just like we are seeing with North Korea.

collusion investigation.

This recent devastating revelation of illegal spying on a political campaign completely

and operates above the law with little regard for the constitutional rights of their political

Comey and his former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe were neck deep in corruption and played

very crucial roles for the deep state and their efforts to undermine the current administration.

The disturbing fact of the matter is that James Comey, Andrew McCabe, former CIA Director

John Brennan, and many others who held top-level positions within our government agencies not

only allowed their organizations to become politicized but they directly acted on behalf

of the Obama administration to attack Trump and his campaign associates with whatever

means they deemed necessary.In my opinion, its long past time for real criminal charges

to be brought against those who were found plotting against not just our President but

against our democracy itself.

These traitors should not be dealt with lightly.

It would send a message to the world and to others who may consider committing such acts

of treason in the future if those found guilty were publicly paraded in handcuffs and orange

jumpsuits before being walked off to prison.

Even prison seems like a lenient sentence for the level of corruption and betrayal carried

out by the deep state.

Those found guilty of conspiring against our President and our country should face a firing

squad or be publicly hanged.

In my opinion, that would be much more effective in preventing future corruption of this magnitude.

What is truly astounding are the accomplishments our President has been able to achieve even

under constant attack from the deep state and the majority of Democrats.
