Trump-Abe discuss North Korea, trade and other issues - Duration: 1:50.

And now more on President Trump's meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister.

The fear in Tokyo has been that Japan is being sidelined on North Korea issues, a major reason

Abe went all the way to Florida for the second time.

Between that and issues of trade, the two leaders have a lot to discuss.

Kim Hyo-sun tells us more.

North Korea is definitely a major agenda for President Trump and Prime Minister Shinzo

Abe.

President Trump said Seoul and Pyongyang are discussing to formally end the decades-long

Korean War,... adding that such conversations have his blessing.

As Trump prepares for his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un,... he also told

Abe that North Korea is coming along,... and that the meeting will take place probably

in early June or a little before that.

"We will probably be, depending on various meetings, and conversations we will be having,

meetings with Kim Jong-un -- very soon, that will be taking place in early June -- or probably

before that -- assuming things go well -- it's possible things won't go well and I won't

have the meetings and we will just go along this very strong path that we have taken.

But, we will see what happens."

President Trump also explained that five locations are under consideration for the scheduled

Washington-Pyongyang summit.

Trade is also a massive topic between the two leaders,... with Tokyo being one of the

few American allies that has not been exempted from President Trump's new steel and aluminum

tariffs.

The White House added earlier that Trump and Abe will explore ways to expand fair and reciprocal

trade and investment ties between the two allies,... which are also two of the world's

wealthiest and most innovative economies.

CA Governor Jerry Brown Backs Off Pledge For Border, Trump Has Savage Reply - Duration: 4:13.

CA Governor Jerry Brown Backs Off Pledge For Border, Trump Has Savage Reply.

Communist California's Governor Jerry Brown has backed off of his commitment to send National

Guard troops, in response to President Donald Trump's call for more border security.

Now, Trump has a savage response to Brown.

You won't want to miss this.

On April 11, 2018, Democrat Governor Jerry Brown pledged to send 400 National Guard troops,

in response to Trump's call for 2,000 to 4,000 from the border states.

Brown made that commitment via a letter to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen,

and Secretary of Defense James "Mad Dog" Mattis.

The letter from Governor Brown indicated that he would send the 400 troops, to help in an

ongoing program to combat transnational crime.

The troops authorized by Governor Brown were to help support law enforcement operations

against transnational gangs, drug smugglers, and human traffickers.

Governor Jerry Brown's letter did not specify how many of the 400 new troops were to join

the 55 guardsmen, already stationed on the border.

"The location of Guard personnel, and number specifically working in support of operations

along the border, the coast and elsewhere in the state will be dictated by the needs

on the ground," a spokesperson for the governor's office told Daily Caller in an email.

Like most things that come out of California, Governor Brown's pledge was worthless.

The crap hit the fan on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, after an official from the U.S. Customs

and Border Protection named Ronald Vitiello told reporters, that Governor Brown was no

longer interested in sending troops.

"The governor determined that what we asked for is unsupportable, but we will have other

iterations," Vitiello said.

This is huge flip-flop on Governor Brown's part, which is not only an embarrassment to

the people of California but also to our country.

It's truly a shame when a governor won't support federal efforts to make our country

safer.

Governor Jerry Brown originally indicated that he would support the deployment of National

Guard troops, to the border as long as they did not involve themselves in supporting immigration

enforcement efforts.

That alone is a tragic point of view for any elected official to have, but that is the

sad state of affairs in Communist California.

It didn't take long for President Donald Trump to jump on Twitter and hammer Governor

Brown, with a brutal response that he truly deserved for backing out of his pledge to

send 400 troops, according to the New York Post.

What kind of governor makes, a fool of himself on such a grand scale?

It would have to be Brown.

"Looks like Jerry Brown and California are not looking for safety, and security along

their very porous Border.

He cannot come to terms for the National Guard to patrol and protect the Border.

The high crime rate will only get higher.

Much wanted Wall in San Diego already started!" Trump wrote.

The blatant unwillingness of liberals in our country to secure our borders, and keep out

illegal immigrants is something our Founding Fathers would have never imagined could happen.

California is the only border state to refuse Trump's request.

The Republican Governors of Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico have already answered the call

for troops in the honorable fashion one would expect from state leaders.

The majority of California's ultra-liberal leadership is all on board Brown's crazy

train, and they are greasing the tracks.

Governor Jerry Brown's refusal is a tremendous disservice to the citizens of his state and

to our country.

There was a time when cowards like Brown would be run out of office and shamed into hiding.

Unfortunately, those days are over until the people paying the price for such destructive

policies decide they've had enough.

The economic consequences and higher crime rates caused by mass illegal immigration will

continue to plague California, and the fact of the matter is that Democrats thrive in

such conditions.

In order for their political model to work, the population must be brought under government

control through the brutal removal of their sovereignty.

ROBERT MUELLER ROCKS DC WITH MAJOR TRUMP ANNOUNCEMENT - Duration: 12:38.

ROBERT MUELLER ROCKS DC WITH MAJOR TRUMP ANNOUNCEMENT

A disturbing announcement was just made about White House Special Counsel Robert Mueller's

investigation that has Donald Trump's supporters praying for him.

Fox News reported that Judge Andrew Napolitano warned that anyone who thinks Mueller's

investigation is winding down is in for a big surprise.

"I believe he's gearing up and the president remains in his crosshairs," Napolitano said

during an appearance on "Fox & Friends."

New reports have indicated that Mueller's team has interviewed George Nader, a businessman

who advised United Arab Emirates leaders and visited the White House frequently last year.

Mueller is now trying to figure out if the UAE bought political influence with the Trump

campaign.

Napolitano added that the recent guilty plea by Rick Gates, the longtime business partner

of indicted former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, has provided Mueller's team with

a "treasure trove" of information.

Though Gates worked on Trump's campaign and frequently visited the White House, he

and Manafort are facing charges that predate the campaign.

Napolitano made sure to point out that Gates originally faced exposure to up to 40 years

in prison based on all the charges Mueller filed.

"He pleaded guilty and his exposure went from 40 years to three years.

He obviously is prepared to tell them a lot of information to get that exposure to go

way down.

… This is unbelievable," he said.

The Fox News senior legal analyst also discussed the strange events surrounding fired Trump

aide Sam Nunberg, who dared Mueller to arrest him and refused to go before a grand jury.

"Why he did what he did yesterday, I don't know.

Unless he really wanted to discredit himself or he really was inebriated," Napolitano

said.

It's sad that this witch hunt against Trump is being allowed to continue despite the fact

that Mueller has found no concrete evidence against him.

What do you think about this?

Let us know your thoughts

James Comey Unleashed A Bombshell About The Case To Impeach Trump - Duration: 10:40.

James Comey Unleashed A Bombshell About The Case To Impeach Trump

The swamp's case to impeach Donald Trump hinges on one question.

Did Donald Trump fire James Comey with the corrupt motive of shutting down the Russia

investigation?

In his new book, Comey dropped a bombshell that settled that question once and for all.

Anti-Trump journalists were expecting Comey to drop the hammer on the President in his

new book.

Members of the media have been hyping up his ABC interview as the beginning of the end

for the Trump administration.

But buried in Comey's book is one startling truth about impeachment.

Comey can't even come to a conclusion as to whether the President is guilty of obstructing

justice or not.

The Washington Post reports:

"A LIFELONG REPUBLICAN UNTIL RECENTLY, COMEY DELIVERS AN INDIRECT BUT UNMISTAKABLE REBUKE

OF THE GOP'S CONGRESSIONAL LEADERS AS WELL: "IT IS ALSO WRONG TO STAND IDLY BY, OR WORSE,

TO STAY SILENT WHEN YOU KNOW BETTER, WHILE A PRESIDENT BRAZENLY SEEKS TO UNDERMINE PUBLIC

CONFIDENCE IN LAW ENFORCEMENT INSTITUTIONS THAT WERE ESTABLISHED TO KEEP OUR LEADERS

IN CHECK."

COMEY STOPS SHORT OF OUTLINING A LEGAL CASE AGAINST THE PRESIDENT, EXPLAINING THAT BECAUSE

HE DOES NOT KNOW ALL THE EVIDENCE HE CANNOT DETERMINE WHETHER TRUMP INTENDED TO OBSTRUCT

JUSTICE BY FIRING HIM AND BY ASKING HIM TO BACK OFF THE FBI'S INVESTIGATION OF FLYNN.

"I HAVE ONE PERSPECTIVE ON THE BEHAVIOR I SAW, WHICH WHILE DISTURBING AND VIOLATING

BASIC NORMS OF ETHICAL LEADERSHIP, MAY FALL SHORT OF BEING ILLEGAL," HE WRITES."

This is a major blow to the swamp's crusade to eliminate Trump.

Comey was their guy to take him down.

And yet despite all his hatred for the President, he couldn't even make the case that Trump

obstructed justice or needed to be impeached.

In fact, he even stated that Trump's behavior may fall short of being illegal.

This is a crushing blow for the media and other establishment figures who want Trump

gone.

Comey was the most deadly arrow in their quiver.

So just like the Stormy Daniels interview, this one will come up a bust.

We will keep you up to date on any new developments in this ongoing story.

Trump-Abe discuss North Korea, trade and other issues - Duration: 2:12.

Our top story this morning....

The leaders of the United States and Japan are meeting at President Trump's Mar-a-Lago

resort in Florida to discuss a range of issues,... but mostly trade and North Korea.

The summit comes amid fears in Tokyo that Japan could be sidelined from the latest nuclear

negotiations.

For the latest on the summit,... we connect with our Kim Hyo-sun.

Hyo-sun, what have the two leaders discussed so far regarding North Korea?

Hi Semin.

While he explained that five locations are under consideration for the scheduled Washington-Pyongyang

summit,... Trump added there's a possibility the meeting will not take place at all,...

stressing it all depends on the ongoing discussions.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Abe praised President Trump's courage in his decision to meet with

the North Korean leader.

He also underscored the importance of achieving North Korea's complete, verifiable and irreversible

denuclearization as well as the abandonment of its missile programs.

And Hyo-sun, aside from North Korea,... what other issues are on the table?

You mentioned trade, but they are also discussing their alliance...

That's right.

The White House says Trump and Abe are reaffirming the U.S.-Japan alliance as a cornerstone of

peace, stability and prosperity in the Indo-Pacific region.

Trump v. Hawaii [SCOTUSbrief] - Duration: 5:33.

The presidential order at the heart of Trump v. Hawaii is

Proclamation 9645, which the

president issued on September 24, 2017, to replace the March 6 order, which was scheduled

to expire.

And Proclamation 9645 restricts travel to the United States by nationals of eight countries.

And the question is whether or not the president's order violates either the Constitution or

federal law.

This proclamation is a little bit different from some of the ones that came before in

a couple of respects.

The first is just in terms of the duration.

Under the March 6 order, the agencies that regulate security and immigration were supposed

to conduct an extensive process to look at the vetting procedures that United States

officials use to decide whether or not someone can come to the United States.

The September 24 order, Proclamation 9645, in essence says we conducted that review,

it was extensive, it was detailed, and our vetting procedures are greatly improved but

we found that they continue to be deficient,

that we're not getting enough information from eight countries.

Libya, Iran, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, and then North Korea, Venezuela, and Chad.

And so we are going to continue to restrict travel to the United States from those countries.

This proclamation is indefinite.

The other way that this proclamation is different from the earlier proclamations is which countries

it affects.

The March 6 proclamation affected six countries, all of which were Muslim-majority countries.

Five of those six countries are still on the list of nations whose nationals have restricted

travel, but it added three more, North Korea and Venezuela, neither of which is a Muslim-majority

country, and Chad, which has a Muslim population that is majority, but just barely.

The Trump administration's argument is this falls squarely within the president's authority

under the immigration laws.

Congress has primary authority to regulate immigration, but they've delegated some of

that authority to the president precisely because the president is able to act

quickly to address threats to national security.

I think that there is a sense among the Trump Administration that, even though it's been

now 17 years since September 11, this is a bit of an emergency situation.

Certainly, the president's remarks when he first called for a ban on Muslims coming to

the United States were in response to a terrorist incident.

And there's a sense that there is a constant threat, and that the agencies that are deciding

whether or not to admit someone to the United States need to make sure that they have the

kind of information that they need to accurately assess whether someone is a threat to the

security of the United States.

And the September 24 order reflects the conclusion that, at least for these countries, we're

not yet getting the kind of information that we need to be able to make that decision accurately

with any confidence.

I think that Hawaii's best argument is the idea that this is old wine in new bottles.

That the Trump Administration may have tried to dress this up as something that was not

targeting Muslim-majority countries.

You can look at the face of this proclamation and sure, they're not all necessarily Muslim

countries, but if you look at the whole history of the different executive orders then this

is clearly something that's intended to target Muslims, as some of the president's comments

and tweets in the past have suggested.

Whether or not there's any precedent for looking at the words of a candidate, or even the words

of a president, to determine the outcome of a case, is I think something that's going

to be debated.

As a general rule, courts and particularly the Supreme Court want to just look at the

face of an order.

They don't want to try to get into the heads of whoever drafted the order to figure out

what may have actually been going on.

They want to look at the text, and whether that's the Constitution, or a statute, or

an executive order.

What the challengers are saying is that that may generally be the case, but when you've

got this kind of really extreme animus, then you need to go behind the words of the statute

or the order to what the actual motivation was.

This is a case that really, I think in many ways captures a lot of the debate that is

going on in the United States right now, and that we saw during the 2016 presidential elections.

Whatever the Supreme Court decides in this case isn't going to resolve the debate, but

it will say a lot about the president's powers to regulate immigration and national security.

YUGE! Trump Just Did What No President Has Been Able To Do in 65 Years! The W*R IS OVER! - Duration: 6:08.

YUGE! Trump Just Did What No President Has Been Able To Do in 65 Years!

The WAR IS OVER!

It's Official!

President Trump was happy to watch something occur that hasn't happened in the last 65

years!

Under Trump's presidency, we were able to watch a 65-year-long war finally come to an

end where North and South Korea finally call it quits and agree to be peaceful with each

other.

This was something that people from all across the world have wanted for years but was not

ever able to get.

Finally, it happened!

This is not long after Trump had agreed to meet with North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-un.

Some think the peace resolutions have finally come to fruition after Trump made a stand

(on Twitter) against North Korea but then agreed to meet with him.

Trump agreeing to meet Jong-un may have been the breaking point for Jong-un to see things

in a lighter way that shows how all countries can be allies and get along.

Now we're talking about peace, denuclearization, and achieving a level of greatness that hasn't

been present in over 60 years.

There are talks that North and South Korea could even return the Demilitarized Zone back

to the way it used to be.

Many people wonder if this could be the end of people defecting from North Korea and the

residents will have their quality of life increased.

They've reportedly had a tough time over there, so the peace talks could hopefully

improve life for everyone living in North Korea.

South Korea will enjoy living in peace and the topic of North Korea testing nuclear weapons

and missiles could finally settle down.

Of course, this comes at a time when there's a massive issue with Syria, so when one peaceful

situation comes to fruition, then another violent one takes its place.

Latest: Barbara Bush, Republican Matriarch and Former First Lady, Dies at 92

American Military News reported more about the peace talks: "The leaders of North and

South Korea – Kim Jong Un and President Moon Jae-in, respectively – are slated to

meet next week, in advance of the tri-nation summit with President Donald Trump sometime

before May.

It was reported that the two nations are going to officially put an end to the Korean military

conflict, which technically lasted from 1950 to 1953 but was ended with a truce, not a

peace treaty, according to the South Korean newspaper Munhwa Ilbo, which cited an unnamed

South Korean official.

The two nations could also discuss the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) that separates them, and possibly

return it to its original state, the newspaper reported.

It was recently announced that North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un agreed to meet at a summit

with President Trump, and that North Korea is also willing to talk denuclearization of

the Korean Peninsula.

While the date and location of the three-way summit have not been announced, the North-South

Korean meeting is set for April 27.

Chinese state media also recently confirmed that Kim traveled and met with Chinese President

Xi Jinping in Beijing, in an unprecedented first visit outside his home country since

becoming supreme leader in 2011.

The North Korea-China meeting came ahead of the meeting with South Korea, which is said

to prepare for the three-nation meeting with the United States, North and South Korea sometime

before May.

Trump had accepted an invitation from Kim on behalf of South Korean delegates to the

U.S. in March.

The White House later confirmed that President Trump and Kim would meet "sometime" before

May, on the invitation of Kim himself.

The state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) issued commentary about two weeks after the

invitation and finally hinted at a confirmation for the upcoming meeting of North Korea, the

U.S. and South Korea.

A possible meeting between the nations was originally the product of South Korea's

efforts in February during the Winter Olympics.

South Korean President Moon Jae-in first invited North Korea to a summit in April in the DMZ.

Kim then invited President Trump, through a South Korean envoy, to a future meeting.

While many U.S. officials are skeptical about North Korea following through with any formal

meeting, supporters of diplomacy say that even the prospect of talks is an encouraging

change.

For the better part of last year, North Korea continued to defy international officials'

pleas to cease countless nuclear missile and bomb tests, even going so far as to threaten

the U.S. territory of Guam after fierce words from Trump demanding a halt to their increased

military activity and bomb testing.

South Korea has stated that denuclearization could be a topic of discussion during the

formal meeting of the nations.

But while North Korea seems to have at least paused its nuclear activity for the time being,

the rogue nation has not confirmed any sort of agenda for the meeting at this point, and

giving up their prized nuclear weapons indefinitely be an unexpected result."

Let's hope the peace talks between North and South Korea go well and become contagious

with every country.

Each country working together to bring each other to the highest level of success is exactly

what everyone needs.

War is no good unless your country is standing up for itself and others.

War in the sense of self-defense is justified, but waging war on each other for no good reason

doesn't ever solve problems.

TRUMP STRIKES AGAIN: He Just Pushed Brown Slipping & Sliding Back Into Heavy Mudslides

President Trump came out swinging Wednesday morning hitting back at Jerry Brown and his

lack of keeping California safe.

Not only does the President know the 'Art of the Deal,' but he is also the 'Master

Troller President Trump promised a big, beautiful

wall along the southern border and he's going to get it done with or without the help

of the obstructing dems.

The left has been desperate to stop Trump's agenda, specifically the southern border wall.

But they keep failing.

They really thought they had Trump with their latest ploy to overrule the will of the people.

They found some environmental rules they used to delay the wall, so Trump just said he would

waive the regulations and they took him to court.

A federal court cleared the way in February for President Trump to build his border wall,

ruling the administration has the power to waive a series of environmental laws to speed

up construction.

The Commander in Chief has since deployed the National Guard to protect the border while

the Wall is undergoing construction.

Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona have followed suit.

President Donald Trump attacked California governor Jerry Brown for refusing to send

national guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border.

Brown originally noted that he would support the deployment of national guard troops to

the border, contingent that they not involve themselves in any way or support immigration

enforcement efforts.Jerry Brown is tearing his state apart and endangering his citizens.

Illegal border crossings have surged in recent months.

Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen recently said, "Given the numbers we had

last month, they just came out, 50,000 in April is the number that we interdicted or

otherwise was inadmissible."

The President tweeted Wednesday morning exposing Jerry Brown:

"There is a Revolution going on in California.

Soooo many Sanctuary areas want OUT of this ridiculous, crime infested & breeding concept.

Jerry Brown is trying to back out of the National Guard at the Border, but the people of the

State are not happy.

Want Security & Safety NOW!"

The attack involved 103 cruise missiles fired upon Syrian facilities previously associated

with chemical weapons productions.

These facilities were allegedly involved in a chemical weapons attack nearly a week earlier

on April 8, on Douma, a suburb of Damascus.

by Dr. Michael Salla,

After the limited missile strike, Trump said the attacks had been successful and declared

mission accomplished.

Just as Trump had clearly signaled to the world via Twitter that he was about to launch

an attack on Syria, he was now clearly transmitting via Twitter that the attack was completed

with the mission goals achieved.

Many alternative media analysts accept that the April 8 chemical weapons attack was not

orchestrated by the Syrian government, because it did not have any strategic purpose for

doing so given recent battle field successes.

In their view, the chemical weapons attack was a false flag event staged by Deep State

actors wanting to drag the US and its major allies deeper into the Syrian Civil War, as

a prelude to a major attack on Iran.

So was Trumps attack really a prelude to the U.S. getting drawn more deeply into the

Syrian and Iran conflicts via a very transparent false flag event, or was Trumps real goal

to achieve an entirely different strategic purpose, to bring about a speedy end to the

Syrian Civil War and prevent a new war with Iran?

In finding an answer we can first take a look at what QAnon, which is a group of US Military

Intelligence officials leaking classified information, has to say about the missile

strike.

QAnon used a coded message to predict back on April 8, the day of the Douma chemical

weapons incident, that 2 B-1 bombers would be involved in an upcoming Syria missile attack,

and these would launch 19 missiles:

The post suggests that QAnon was aware of advance plans for the Syria attack, and the

craft to be used in it.

According to another Q Anon post, one that coincided with the April 14 missile attack

itself, the U.S. Coalition strike was a limited military operation that would only involve

missiles, no ground force or plane overflights of Syrian territory, and that we should trust

Trump:

Once again, Q Anon refers to Sparrow Red which is likely a reference to an older kind

of guided missile, AIM-7 Sparrow, that is produced by the Raytheon corporation and used

by many world militaries including Israel and Saudi Arabia.

Was the intent to use older missiles launched by the B-1 bombers and other craft in the

U.S. French and British coalition so that many of these could be shot down in a staged

event coordinated with the Russians (Sparrow Red)?

This appears to be exactly what happened if consider a statement put out by the Russian

Ministry of Defense describing the results of the U.S., French and British missile strikes

on Syria.

The Russians said:

As evident by the available data, 103 cruise missiles have been launched, including Tomahawk

naval-based missiles as well as GBU-38 guided air bombs fired from the B-1B; the F-15 and

F-16 aircraft launched air-to-surface missiles.

The Tornado airplanes of the UK RAF launched eight Scalp EG missiles. The Syrian air defence

systems, which are primarily the USSR-made AD systems, have successfully countered the

air and naval strikes.

In total, 71 cruise missiles have been intercepted.

The S-125, S-200, Buk, Kvadrat, and Osa Syrian AD systems were involved in repelling the

attack.

It proves high efficiency of the Syrian armament and professional skills of the Syrian servicemen

trained by the Russian specialists.

Over the last eighteen months, Russia has completely recovered the Syrian air defence

systems, and continues its development.

It is to be stressed that several years ago given the strong request by our western partners,

Russia opted out of supplying the S-300 AD systems to Syria.

Taking into account the recent incident, Russia believes it possible to reconsider this issue

not only regarding Syria but other countries as well.

The most telling point in the Russian statement was that almost 70% of the U.S. coalitions

missiles were shot down using old Russian air defense technologies.

Trump-Abe discuss North Korea, trade and other issues - Duration: 1:55.

Trump on U.S. communication with Kim Jong-un - Duration: 2:35.

There's not long to go until the inter-Korean summit,... and while preparations for that

are moving along rapidly,... the pre-talks on laying the groundwork for the first ever

U.S.-North Korea summit are also fast developing,... although mostly under wraps... until today

at least.

This morning we heard reports that President Trump had talked with the North Korean leader

for the first time on the phone, but the White House was quick to correct that.

For more, we connect to our Lee Ji-won on the phone.

Ji-won, can you tell us more about what happened?

Mark, it was mistakenly reported that President Trump had direct talks with North Korean leader

Kim Jong-un as Trump smilingly answered "yes" to a reporter who asked if he has spoken directly

with Kim.

Now, THAT would have been a major development if it were true, but White House Press Secretary

Sarah Sanders soon clarified that the talks were not with Kim directly.

Now,... what we DO know is that the U.S. did engage in direct talks with the North at "extremely

high levels", according to President Trump on Tuesday,... as he held his first day of

two-day summit with the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe at the President's Mar-a-Lago resort

in Florida.

But he did not specify which senior officials from Washington and Pyongyang have talked.

Ji-won, we're also hearing that Trump's pick for his next Secretary of State and current

CIA chief Mike Pompeo recently visited Pyongyang and met face-to-face with Kim Jong-un?

Yes Mark, the Washington Post reported just a few minutes ago, citing two people with

direct knowledge of the trip.

The report says CIA Director Mike Pompeo went to Pyongyang over the Easter weekend to meet

Kim Jong-un as Trump's envoy.

The Easter weekend was from March 31st to April 1st.... not long after Pompeo had been

nominated for Secretary of State.

This would make him one of the most senior officials known to have visited Pyongyang

in recent years,... following the nation's intelligence chief James Clapper in 2014.

Now, the CIA has been in direct contact with the North in recent weeks.

Multiple sources, including CNN and Reuters, reported that CIA and State Department officials

are communicating with the North through back channels to plan for the highly anticipated

summit to be held in late May or early June.

That's all from me for now but I'll be back with more updates in our later newscast.

Mark.
