President Trump's legal team plans to cast former national security advisor

Michael T Flynn as a liar seeking to protect himself if he accuses the

president or his senior aides of any wrongdoing according to three people

familiar with the strategy the approach would mark a sharp break

from trumps previously sympathetic posture toward Flynn whom he called a

wonderful man when Flynn was ousted from the White

House in February earlier this month the President did not rule out a possible

pardon for Flynn who is cooperating with Special Counsel Robert s Mueller III's

investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election attorneys for Trump

and his top advisers have privately expressed confidence that Flynn does not

have any evidence that could implicate the president or his White House team

but since Flynn's cooperation agreement with prosecutors was made public earlier

this month the administration has been strategizing how to neutralize him in

case the former national security adviser does make any claims Flynn is

the most senior former Trump adviser known to be providing information to

Mueller's team the lenient terms of his plea agreements suggest he has promised

significant information to investigators legal experts said

earlier this month he pleaded guilty to one felony count of lying to to the FBI

a charge that carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison prosecutors said

they will recommend a sentence from zero to six months in prison as part of his

cooperation deal Flynn's son who served as his chief of

staff also faced the risk of criminal charges according to people familiar

with the plea negotiations but was spared Trump's legal team has ceased on

Flynn's agreement with prosecutors as fodder for a possible defense if

necessary in court filings the retired lieutenant general admitted that he lied

to the FBI about conversations he had with the Russian ambassador to the

United States during the December 2016 transition he said it himself he's a

liar said one person helping craft the strategy who was granted anonymity to

describe private conversations Robert Keller an attorney for Flynn declined to

comment Ty Cobb the White House attorney

overseeing the response to the Special Counsel investigation also declined to

comment defense lawyers have said privately that Flynn will be unable to

point to White House or campaign records turned over in the probe to bolster any

claims of a criminal scheme none of those records suggest a conspiracy by

Trump or his inner circle to improperly work with Russians to defeat Democratic

candidate Hillary Clinton according to people who have reviewed the documents

the private talks about assailing Flynn's credibility come even as Trump

has signaled that a pardon is not off the table

I don't want to talk about pardons for Michael Flynn yet the president said

very angry some of Flynn's family members appear to be counting on Trump

to act on Tuesday one of Flynn's brothers tweeted a message urging the

President to pardon his former advisor responding to a tweet by Trump alleging

to general Flynn given the apparent and obvious illegitimate of the manner in

which the so called crimes he plead guilty to were extracted from him Joseph

outside legal experts said that discussing ways to undermine a possible

witness is a natural first step for defense lawyers to consider

While the list of failures that poured out of the Obama administration are far too numerous

to list, one that ranks high near the top is how he totally blew it with radical Islamic

terror group ISIS.

Remember when he called them �junior varsity?� more or less asserting they were not a serious

threat?

Yeah, then they started taking over tons of cities and land in the Middle East, beheading

Americans, carrying out attacks on our soil and in Europe.

Oh but ISIS is nothing compared to climate change.

Well it seems the tide is turning on ISIS since President Trump has been in office.

New reports from Fox News state that the terror group has lost close to 98 percent of the

territory it once held Here�s more from Fox:

office less than a year ago, U.S. military officials said Tuesday.

The massive gains come after years of �onerous� rules, when critics say the Obama administration

the conflict much sooner.

�The rules of engagement under the Obama administration were onerous.

I mean what are we doing having individual target determination being conducted in the

White House, which in some cases adds weeks and weeks,� said retired Air Force Lt. Gen.

The latest American intelligence assessment says fewer than 1,000 ISIS fighters now remain

in Iraq and Syria, down from a peak of nearly 45,000 just two years ago.

U.S. officials credit nearly 30,000 U.S.-led coalition airstrikes and regional partners

on the ground for killing more than 70,000 jihadists.

Meanwhile, only a few thousand have returned home.

In other words, Trump is making good on his promise to dismantle and destroy the ISIS

threat to the United States, and while it may not be happening overnight, it�s getting

done, bit by bit.

There�s little doubt much of the success Trump is having is due to the excellent military

personnel he has surrounded himself with and the fact he actually listens to their strategies

and implements them effectively.

However, while ISIS has pretty much been beaten down, they are still an influence in the Middle

East where they are calling upon jihadis all over the world to carry out lone wolf style

attacks all across the globe.

Even though this victory is reason to celebrate, it�s important to note the danger is not

over yet.

Unfortunately, there�s not likely ever going to be a complete and total end to radical

Islamic terrorism.

There will always be new groups springing up to take the place of the ones that have

been destroyed.

The only way to defeat this threat to liberty and life across the planet is through combatting

it�s ideology, and this is an area we are sorely lacking in engagement.

Retailers are reporting record holiday sales this season of $598 billion as of Christmas

Eve, fueled by confidence in the pro-business, pro-jobs economic polices of President Donald

Trump of cutting Obama-era regulations and enacting major tax cuts and reforms.

Yet media reports by CBS, AP and the Wall Street Journal all failed to mention President

Trump in their reports on the record sales.

The Drudge Report however is leading Monday night with a photo and headline crediting

Trump with the boom in sales over a link to the WSJ article that doesn�t credit Trump,

�GREAT AGAIN: RETAILERS FEEL CHRISTMAS CHEER�

CBS News reported Monday night without mentioning Trump at all:

Total retail sales this holiday season added up to a record $598 billion dollars � up

$33 billion from last year.

�This is literally the best season since before the recession,� business owner Craig

Johnson said.

Johnson�s company, Customer Growth Partners, analyzes all things retail.

He credits low unemployment and a booming stock market for this humbug-free holiday

season.

�The single biggest drive of retail sales is growth in real disposable income,� he

said.

�And when real income goes up, people have money in their pocket and they�re able to

spend it.�

The AP also cited Johnson about the sales boom and failed to mention Trump at all:

Experts have issued rosy forecasts for the season.

Shoppers seemed to be in the mood with unemployment at a 17-year low and consumer sentiment at

its highest level since 2000.

�Shoppers have been spending at a pace not seen since the Great Recession, says Craig

Johnson, president of retail consulting group Customer Growth Partners.�

Using a different source, the Wall Street Journal (also via Fox Business) reported sales

were up almost 5%, but did not mention Trump at all:

Retailers are enjoying some extra Christmas cheer.

Fueled by high consumer confidence and a robust job market, U.S. retail sales in the holiday

period rose at their best pace since 2011, according to Mastercard SpendingPulse, which

tracks both online and in-store spending.

Sales, excluding automobiles, rose 4.9% from Nov. 1 through Christmas, compared with a

3.7% gain in the same period last year, according to the Mastercard Inc. unit, which tracks

all forms of payment.

E-commerce continued to drive the gains, rising 18.1%.

�Unlike in past years, when spending was driven by high-income shoppers, this holiday

season a broader swath of the population opened their wallets, encouraged by rising wages

and low unemployment, analysts and economists said.

�Fewer people are living paycheck to paycheck,� said Chris Christopher, executive director

of economic-research firm IHS Markit.

�There is a lot more spending from the lower- and middle-income groups, while the upper-income

groups are splurging.�

The failure of the media to even mention President Trump�s policies as a factor in the record

holiday sales is yet another example of why his poll numbers are low.

In contrast the media gave former President Barack Obama credit for every meager sign

of growth such that it was lampooned by South Park in the Margaritaville episode about the

Great Recession (via Wikipedia):

for bringing these improvements in the economy leaving Kyle infuriated shouting �Come on!�.

After Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., made disparaging remarks about President Donald Trump�s supporters

and the state of the Republican Party, actor and conservative commentator James Woods took

to social media to correct the record.

Flake, who announced earlier this year that he would not be seeking re-election, spoke

on ABC�s �This Week� about the type of people who attend Trump campaign rallies,

suggesting that the GOP must attract other democgraphics besides �older white men�

or else face demise.

�When you look at some of the audiences cheering for Republicans, sometimes, you look

out there and you say, �those are the spasms of a dying party,'� the outgoing senator

said, according to The Hill.

�When you look at the lack of diversity, sometimes, and it depends on where you are,

obviously, but by and large, we�re appealing to older white men and there are just a limited

number of them, and anger and resentment are not a governing philosophy.�

Woods� statement does poke a large hole in Flake�s argument.

Currently, the Republican Party is enjoying its most powerful standing in modern history,

controlling both chambers of Congress, the White House, the majority of gubernatorial

seats and the majority of state legislatures.

The GOP�s political dominance has resulted in what many regard as conservative control

of the judicial branch, with a conservative-leaning Supreme Court and President Trump making judicial

appointments at an unprecedented level.

The 2016 election proved wrong Obama-era predictions that a combination of demographic changes

in the country � including a decline of whites and evangelicals, and a blossoming

minority population � would result in an everlasting Democrat lock on the White House.

Contrary to almost every mainstream forecast, Republican Donald Trump won the presidency

over Hillary Clinton, the Democrat nominee, while Republicans were able to maintain control

of the House and Senate and even made gains in down-ballot offices.

The election outcome proved wrong the theory that white Americans are quickly losing sway

in electoral politics.

Has Zero Proof

However, since announcing his intention earlier this year to retire from the Senate, Flake

has become one of Trump�s biggest adversaries from within the Republican Party, frequently

sparring with the president publicly.

The Arizona senator has gone on to criticize the president and the GOP over a number of

issues.

More recently, Flake took a hard stance against Roy Moore, the controversial Republican candidate

for Alabama�s special Senate election.

The Arizona senator not only withheld support for Moore, he openly supported his Democrat

opponent, Doug Jones, by writing his campaign a $100 donation.

Flake was to run for re-election in 2018, but with polling numbers that showed him deeply

unpopular with Arizona Republican voters, he announced in October he would instead retire

at the end of his term.

Speculation has run rampant for months that the FBI was working against a Donald Trump

presidency, and now a United States congressman has given credit to that theory and what it

would mean.

Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, told conservative radio host Todd Starnes he is convinced the

FBI was working against Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign.

�The whole pretext is wrong.

Think about this, you had � I�m convinced now � the FBI actively seeking with intent,

actively trying to stop Donald Trump from being president of the United States,� Jordan

said on the Todd Starnes Show.

Jordan pointed to text messages written by investigator Peter Strzok that referred to

an �insurance� policy.

�I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy�s office � that

there�s no way he gets elected � but I�m afraid we can�t take that risk.

It�s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you�re 40,� Strzok

wrote.

The reference was meant to convey that the bureau needed to aggressively investigate

allegations of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, people familiar with

the situation told The Wall Street Journal.

Jordan was concerned the �insurance policy� might have included dressing up the infamous

Trump-Russia dossier, turning it into an intelligence document and using it to obtain warrants in

the FISA court that allowed them to spy on Americans.

In the same text messages, Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page disparaged Trump, calling

him an �idiot� and �loathsome human,� showing their obvious bias against the then-candidate.

To make matters worse, Strzok was the lead agent on the FBI investigation into Hillary

Clinton�s use of a private email server during her time as secretary of state.

He was also the top investigator for special counsel Robert Mueller, who has been in charge

of looking into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Strzok was removed from that position after the problematic texts surfaced.

But lawmakers like Jordan have remained concerned over how his bias may have influenced his

role.

In fact, Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley wrote to the Justice Department about the issue, saying

Strzok�s texts appeared to �go beyond merely expressing a private political opinion.�

They �appear to cross the line into taking some official action to create an �insurance

policy� against a Trump presidency,� Grassley wrote.

Jordan called the situation �as wrong as it gets.�

�If that happened, and it sure looks like it did � if that happened it is wrong as

it can possibly be in this great country for the FBI to actively be trying to make sure

one individual, one major party�s nominee does not become the next president is as wrong

as it gets,� Jordan told Starnes.

He�s right.

The FBI should never be involved in trying to sway the outcome of an election � especially

the U.S. presidential election.

It certainly appears they crossed that line, however, and something must be done to ensure

they�re dealt with appropriately and that this never happens ever again.

Many analysts predicted that as soon as President Trump scored his first big legislative win

that the gloves would come off and he�d start draining the swamp, and it appears as

Last week, the President quietly signed a powerful executive order that allows the freezing

of assets of a wide range of individuals, ranging from foreign nationals, to foreign

businesses, to U.S. businesses, politicians, and lobbyists, if any of the aforementioned

people were a part of corruption or human rights abuses.

In fact, Zero Hedge reports that the executive order basically applies to anyone in the world

who aided and abetted �serious human rights abusers� or who has been found to engage

in corruption, including �the misappropriation of state assets, the expropriation of private

assets for personal gain, and corruption related to government contracts or the extraction

of natural resources.�

Uranium One sound familiar?

What about the Clinton Foundation?

The Trump Administration quietly issued an Executive Order (EO) last Thursday which allows

for the freezing of US-housed assets belonging to foreign individuals or entities deemed

�serious human rights abusers,� along with government officials andexecutives of

foreign corporations (current or former) found to have engaged in corruption � which includes

the misappropriation of state assets, the expropriation of private assets for personal

gain, and corruption related to government contracts or the extraction of natural resources.

Furthermore, anyone in the United States who aids or participates in said corruption or

human rights abuses by foreign parties is subject to frozen assets � along with any

U.S. corporation who employs foreigners deemed to have engaged in corruption on behalf of

the company.

In fact, anyone in the world who has �materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial,

material or technological support for, or goods or services� to foreigners targeted

by the Executive Order is subject to frozen assets.

Yikes.

Everyone involved with the Clintons should be shaking in their boots now.

Also included in the order are D.C. lobbyists, many of whom work on behalf of foreign governments

guilty of some of the worst atrocities on the planet.

Last Week�s Executive Order could have serious implications for D.C. lobbyists who provide

�goods and services� (e.g. lobbying services) to despots, corrupt foreign politicians or

foreign organizations engaging in the crimes described in the EO.

�Virtually every lobbyist in DC has got to be in a cold sweat over the scope of this

EO,� said an attorney consulted in the matter who wishes to remain anonymous.

�Consider, what would happen if Apple, say employed a foreign national who bribed a PRC

official for government approvals?

How about a hypothetical case of a company like Northrop or Boeing where an employee,

or consultant, who is a foreign national bribes a Saudi official to direct government purchases

of airplanes and military equipment?

At least some or all of their assets could be frozen,� said the attorney.

As far as Hillary and her cabal are concerned, we turn to Uranium One.

A former FBI informant claims to have video evidence of Russian officials using briefcases

full of cash to bribe those responsible for approving the controversial deal, which allowed

Russia to take control of 20 percent of America�s strategic uranium reserves.

Let�s also not forget about Tony Podesta, who ran the now-defunct Podesta Group.

Podesta was basically an agent of the Clinton Foundation, and his brother pushed strongly

to have David Adams, Hillary�s chief adviser while she was Secretary of State, hired by

the Podesta Group so that there would be a �direct liaison� between the State Department

and the Russians attempting to purchase our Uranium.

But as more information is coming out, Attorney General Jeff Sessions is being implicated

now as well.

New evidence proves that he's been working with Hillary and Obama to sweep the scandal

under the rug.

Ever since Trump was sworn into office, he has been faced with numerous traitors from

within who don't want to see the swamp drained.

They are perfectly content with the status quo and will stop at nothing to keep Trump

from succeeding.

For a while now, people have wondered whose side Jeff Sessions was on.

Now with this new information, we finally know.

A scathing report shows that under Sessions, the Justice Department downplayed critical

evidence that linked Obama and Hillary to the Uranium One Scandal.

The Hill reports:

For instance, both Attorney General Jeff Sessions in testimony last week and Deputy Attorney

General Rod Rosenstein in a letter to the Senate last month tried to suggest there was

no connection between Uranium One and the nuclear bribery case.

Their argument was that the criminal charges weren't filed until 2014, while the Committee

of Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) approval of the Uranium One sale occurred

in October 2010.

"The way I understand that matter is that the case in which Mr. Mikerin was convicted

was not connected to the CFIUS problem that occurred two to three years before," Sessions

testified to the House Judiciary Committee last week, echoing Rosenstein's letter from

a few weeks earlier.

But investigative records show FBI counterintelligence recorded the first illicit payments in the

bribery/kickback scheme in November 2009, a year before the CFIUS approval.

Trump is fed up with Hillary being excused of numerous crimes and is now issuing a dire

warning to Jeff Sessions and the entire Justice Department.

Unless Sessions steps in and prosecutes Hillary, Trump says he will be forced to step in and

take drastic measures.

"A lot of people are disappointed in the Justice Department, including me," Trump

told reporters.

Democrats and the Clintons, sharing several observations on Twitter.

"This is real collusion and dishonesty," Trump wrote on Twitter Thursday night, responding

to Donna Brazile's revelation that Hillary Clinton's campaign was controlling DNC operations

and fundraising well before winning her primary.

"Major violation of Campaign Finance Laws and Money Laundering – where is our Justice

Department?" Trump wondered.

The president appears unhappy with Attorney General Jeff Sessions failure to investigate

the Clintons, despite recent revelations about their "crooked" behavior.

Trump said he thought Clinton's "deleted E-mails, Uranium, Podesta, the Server, plus,

plus…" all deserved closer scrutiny.

"People are angry," Trump continued on Twitter.

"At some point, the Justice Department, and the FBI must do what is right and proper.

The American public deserves it!"

Trump also spoke about his frustration with the Justice Department in an interview with

Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

"The saddest thing is because I'm the President of the United States, I'm not

supposed to be involved in the Justice Department, I am not supposed to be involved in the FBI,"

Trump said.

"I'm not supposed to be doing the kinds of things I would love to be doing and I'm

very frustrated by it."

Trump indicated that he wanted the Justice Department to investigate the Clintons.

"I look at what's going on with the Justice Department, well, why aren't they going

after Hillary Clinton with her emails and dossier?" he asked.

"It's very discouraging to me.

To be honest, I'm very unhappy about it."

Trump signaled frustration with Attorney General Jeff Sessions for failing to target the Clintons.

One of Trump's major selling points on the campaign trail was how he always insisted

Hillary would be investigated and charged for her crimes against America.

It's time we get to the bottom of it and charge Hillary, Obama, and the whole gang

for the treasonous snakes that they all are.

The American people are sick and tired of being promised that Hillary and Obama will

pay for their crimes only to be disappointed time and time again.

Dr Parker added: "But it gets better. It gets better because then Iran sees that North Korea got away with it and you end up with a potential of nuclear weapons in and around the Gulf as well.

"If that happens you're going to end up losing control of that fissile material and that's a very complicated problem." Speaking at a press conference at the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington DC, US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley said that Iran could become the "next North Korea" if no one did anything to stop it.

Ms Haley presented the remnants of a ballistic missile fired by Houthi militants from Yemen into Saudi Arabia that came close to hitting Riyadhs airport last month.  She said the missile might as well have had Made in Iran stickers on it,  adding that Iran was violating UN resolutions.

The Ambassador added: "All of these weapons include parts made in Iran, some by Iran's government defence industry. "All are proof that Iran has defied the international community and not just one time.

"This evidence demonstrates a pattern of behaviour in which Iran sows conflict and extremism in direct violation of UN Security Council resolutions." Iran denies arming the Houthi movement, which has fought a Saudi-led coalition backing Yemens government since 2015.

In order to maintain a positive relationship with the United States, however, Prime Minister

Theresa May may "lay down the law," this same article states.

She may force Harry to extend an invite to Trump and, in that case, "Harry will just

have to suck it up."

Just this fall, Trump re-Tweeted racist videos from far-right group Britain First, drawing

an unusually strong reaction from Downing Street.

May isn't exactly a fan of the President's, either.

But she may recognize the need to avoid further issues by simply letting Trump know he can

attend the nuptials if he so desires.

Harry and Markle announced their engagement last month.

They proceeded to sit for a joint interview and make a few public appearances, including

a trip to church with Kate Middleton and Prince William on Christmas.

Neither Markle nor Harry has said much of anything regarding President Trump, but both

are known for being rather liberal and progressive.

We doubt they like the guy very much.

But they may also recognize the need to just suck it up, as the above insider states, and

see if the President wants to come.

If he chooses to do so, the event will no doubt be the BEST WEDDING OF ALL-TIME.

That's what many people are saying will happen if Trump attends, that is.

With reports surfacing earlier this year in regards an FBI cash payout being offered to

former MI6 spy Christopher Steele in order to corroborate the bogus Trump "dossier,"

the agency's integrity came under fire and received a lot of scrutiny.

According to The New York Times in April, Steele's contact within the bureau informed

him that if he "could get solid corroboration of his reports, the F.B.I. would pay him $50,000

for his efforts, according to two people familiar with the offer."

Then, on Monday, Fox News senior judicial analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano confirmed

it.

"I believe, just from examining the public sources, that the FBI offered Christopher

Steele $50,000 if he could corroborate the dossier.

He either couldn't, didn't, wouldn't, and they didn't pay him the money," Napolitano

told FOX Business' Stuart Varney on "Varney & Co."

Nevertheless, last Wednesday, when the House Judiciary Committee questioned Deputy Attorney

General Rod Rosenstein in regards to whether the agency offered to pay for Steele's corroboration,

it received responses full of lies.

"I'm not in a position to answer that question," Rosenstein said, according to

the Fox Business Network.

DeSantis followed up by asking, "Do you know the answer to the question?"

Before being interrupted, Rosenstein answered back, "I believe I know the answer, but

the Intelligence Committee is the appropriate committee…"

Rather than continuing this line of questioning, the committee backed off.

Some, including Fox News contributor Judge Andrew Napolitano, were less than thrilled

by the decision to do so.

"I would have grilled him and subpoenaed an answer out of him because the American

public has the right to know," Napolitano said on "Varney & Co."

And he's absolutely correct in saying so.

Especially when you consider there is ample evidence suggesting the FBI used the same

"dossier" to obtain a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant on President Donald

Trump's election campaign.

"(T)he FBI reportedly relied on the dossier in a September application for a Foreign Intelligence

Surveillance Act warrant against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page," The Daily

Caller noted in an April report.

"A Federal Intelligence Surveillance Court judge granted that warrant, meaning that the

court agreed there was probable cause to believe that Page was working as an agent of the Russian

government," the report continued.

Even still, just as Napolitano noted during his appearance on "Varney & Co.," "That's

not what we hire and pay an FBI to do."

he concluded.

Spot on, Mr. Napolitano.

But, why exactly did the agency do it?

Hopefully, we receive an answer to that question sooner rather than

much later.

A senior member of the administration is reported to have said the US will be "more quiet" about drills with South Korea and Japan in a bid to defuse tensions with Kim Jong-un's totalitarian regime.

The decision from Trump's top team follows fears that another North Korea missile test could be about to take place. The state has warned the US it has nuclear weapons powerful enough to hit mainland America.

The US President had previously suggested it was a "waste of time" negotiating with the hermit country but is believed to have reconsidered following the threat of the regime.

Moscow is believed to have told the US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, that Washington's "aggressive rhetoric" towards North Korea had intensified tensions, and was unacceptable.

Russia has repeatedly called for talks to resolve the crisis, but this has been undermined by US president Donald Trump's "fire and fury" rhetoric.

Plans for the US to change its approach come just weeks after the US and South Korea said that they were considering suspending joint military drills in 2018 due to concerns that they may lead to action from North Korea.

The drills, called Key Resolve and Foal Eagle, are used as an exercise to prepare for a North Korea invasion, are due to take place between February 9 and 25.

There are concerns that the joint exercises could cause Kim Jong-un to launch a nuclear missile aimed at the South, who are hosting the Winter Olympics between 9 and 19 of February.

The South's Unification Minister, Cho Myoung-gyon, has expressed cautious optimism that the suspension of the drills could be used as an opportunity to reduce the tensions on the border and open up talks.

He said: "It is quite cautious to give projections, but there is a possibility that North Korea will focus on negotiations next year." In recent months Kim Jong-un has taken part in a war of words over the development of nuclear weapons by Pyongyang.

Trump has labelled his counter-part a "little rocket man" on a suicide mission" while the Korean dictator had called the US leader an "old lunatic".

Meanwhile, addressing South Korea's National Assembly in November Trump insisted that the US would "not be intimidated" by Kim Jong-un's rhetoric and called for other countries to respond to the "twisted regimes" threats with a sign of military force.

He used his speech to warn the "three largest aircraft carriers in the world are appropriately positioned to face Pyongyang.

Because of the tax overhaul President Donald Trump signed into law Friday, a number of

businesses plan to voluntarily hand out bonuses to their employees, including powerhouses

like Fifth Third Bancorp, Wells Fargo and Boeing.

But they�re not the only ones.

Comcast, the parent company of NBCUniversal, also intends to hand out bonuses.

In a statement published Thursday, the global telecommunications giant vowed to �award

special $1,000 bonuses to more than one hundred thousand eligible frontline and non-executive

employees� in light of not only the tax bill, but the Trump administration�s earlier

decision to rescind net neutrality.

Here�s the stunning kicker: Many of the same �fake news� media hacks at NBC and

MSNBC who spent the past year constantly besmirching the president�s character and maligning

his policy decisions stand to benefit greatly from these bonuses.

�Journalists at NBC/MSNBC are among the Comcast employees getting $1,000 bonuses,�

CNN�s senior media correspondent, Brian Stelter, explained in a tweet last week.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and conservative commentator Laura

Ingraham pointed this out as well:

Ingraham�s point was a solid one: Since the leftists at NBC and especially MSNBC complain

incessantly about the rich and wealthy (of which they happen to be a part) not paying

their fair share, it would be awfully hypocritical of them to keep their bonuses.

Just to be clear, though, the effect triggered by the GOP�s tax bill isn�t just benefiting

the elitist jerks at NBC and MSNBC.

It�s also benefiting countless everyday Americans.

For instance, both Fifth Third Bancorp and Wells Fargo announced plans last week to raise

the minimum wage for thousands of their employees to $15 an hour.

Boeing likewise revealed in a statement that it intends to donate $100 million to charity/education/veterans

programs, invest $100 million in �workforce development in the form of training, education,

and other capabilities� and spend another $100 million improving the facilities where

its employees work.

And what has the response been from the left?

Outrage and complaints, as usual.

MSNBC nutcase Joy Reid specifically claimed these efforts by businesses to give back to

their employees are nothing but �corporate America trying to convince you that their

naked greed is charity,� as reported by the New York Post.

Said the ungrateful brat who�ll soon enjoy an extra $1,000 that she most certainly doesn�t

deserve.

But go ahead and keep speaking your lies, Ms. Reid, because the fact remains that no

matter how many lies you tell, the truth speaks for itself.

And if you�d like to see that truth for yourself, I suggest you open up your wallet

and look inside.

Russia is ready to serve as a mediator between North Korea and the United States if both

sides agree, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told CNN on Tuesday.

"You can't become a mediator between two countries just on your own will.

It is impossible, you need both sides to be willing," Peskov said.

Peskov's comments come just days after the UN Security Council unanimously adopted a

new set of US-drafted sanctions on North Korea in response to Pyongyang's November 29 ballistic

missile test.

The latest sanctions, aimed to further restrict energy supplies, tighten restrictions on smuggling

and the use of North Korean workers overseas, are the toughest yet, according to US Ambassador

to the UN Nikki Haley.

The vote was unanimous, but Russia's ambassador to the UN criticized the resolution, saying

that the US had rushed it through with several last-minute amendments that targeted North

Korean workers abroad.

Some 40,000 North Koreans work in Russia, and they send significant amounts of their

income back home.

The resolution's requirement of a 24-month period for North Korean workers to return

home "is the minimum acceptable period necessary to deal with the logistical aspects of the

issue," Ambassador Vasilly Nebenzia said, before adding one last criticism of the resolution.

"Unfortunately, our call to preclude a further escalation of tensions, to revise the policy

of mutual intimidation, was not heeded," Nebenzia said.

Peskov's remarks on Tuesday are not unusual for Moscow, as the Kremlin has long held the

position that the US and North Korea should move toward diplomatic talks.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Monday urged the United States and North Korea

to start a dialogue and said the US should make the first move.

"I think the first step forward should be done by the party which is mightier and which

is smarter, and we've held that there are people in the US who believe the situation

should be resolved through diplomatic means," he said in an interview on RT.

The minister on Tuesday urged a fast path toward negotiations in a call with US Secretary

of State Rex Tillerson, according to a statement from the Foreign Ministry.

Lavrov "stressed the unacceptability of hyping up the tensions around the Korean peninsula

with Washington's aggressive rhetoric toward Pyongyang and building up military preparations

in the region," the statement said.

Lavrov has said US military exercises in the region have made dialogue tougher.

In the past, US President Donald Trump has vowed to counter North Korean provocations

with military force, saying he would unleash "fire and fury," on North Korean leader Kim

Jong Un should their nuclear threats persist.

But top US advisers have long retained that the US remains committed to prioritizing a

peaceful resolution

to tensions

Both sides of the coin feature the slogan, and his name appears three times on the coin

that is notably thicker than those made for his predecessors.

In addition, instead of the traditional silver and copper coins used by past presidents,

Trump�s coin is �very gold,� a White House aide noted.

The aide said Trump �wanted to weigh in� on the coin�s redesign, which was paid for

by the Republican National Committee.

The so-called �challenge coins� originated in the military, with officers presenting

them to troops for exemplary service.

Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama joined in on the tradition, giving

their own special coins to servicemen and women via discreet handshakes, according to

The Hill.

Bush was also known to place them on graves at Arlington National Cemetery.

The golden Trump coins, however, will also be handed out to the president�s donors

and supporters at campaign rallies, a second White House aide explained.

Several people on social media were disappointed in the coin�s design, with some Twitter

users calling it �tacky� and indicative of his �need for attention and adulation.�

Of course, Trump is free to have whatever kind of coin he desires, and people who disagree

with it are free to not accept one if given the opportunity.

It�s not quite the crisis situation many liberals have imagined.

But, of course, with Trump in the White House, any move he makes is considered a �crisis�

to his opponents who clearly have nothing better to do than criticize a coin they will

most likely never even see.

Joy Behar FORCED to Apologize for Fake Report About President Trump

On Monday's show, liberal Joy Behar did the unexpected and apologized for promoting

a false ABC news report that claimed President Donald Trump asked former National Security

Adviser to contact Russian officials while he was actively running for the presidency.

"On Friday's show, apparently, I was guilty of premature evaluation," said Behar.

"Here's what happened: ABC News reporter Brian Ross released a story claiming that

when Trump was a candidate he told Michael Flynn to contact the Russians.

Ross later corrected himself saying it was actually when Trump was President-elect."

"Brian has been suspended for a month," she said.

Behar's co-host then read the official NBC News statement, saying Ross had made a mistake

and would be suspended for 4 weeks with no pay.

"That's ABC's statement.

Brian Ross has released a statement, saying 'My job is to hold people accountable, and

that's why I agree with being held accountable myself,'" continued Behar.

"I would say that this is not fake news, it's a mistake.

He didn't deliberately put out a false piece of information, he made an error," she deflected.

What a total disgrace!

Joy Behar destroyed any "apology" by saying that Brian Ross didn't deliberately make

a false statement, instead she tried to claim that he "made a mistake".

The reality is that when you accuse someone of a serious transgression, you'd better

be sure you've got your facts straight.

Ross knew what he said was inflammatory, and he didn't even fact check his information

before going on LIVE air with it.

No apology, especially one as pathetically insincere as a Joy Behar's, can undo the

damage.

Ross needs to lose his job.

Period.

And there needs to be a substantial penalty for ABC in the way of a big, fat fine.

It's pretty obvious that the only reason Behar attempted to apologize was to save her

own hide.

Fox News Staffers Admit That The Network Has Become A Pro-Trump Propaganda Outlet - Duration: 3:46.

If you've been paying attention to Fox News for this past year, first of all, my condolences

to you for having to do that.

Second of all, you've probably noticed that Fox News has taken a very weird turn in probably

just the last six months.

What's happened at that network is that it has gone from being a right wing mouthpiece

to being a full blown propaganda outlet for Donald Trump.

That's not just coming from me.

In fact, that is what staffers at Fox News told reporters in a recent politico expose.

Specifically they're worried about the online content, the website for Fox News and the

fact that the quality of reporting on there has essentially disappeared.

The staffers say that the website has gone full Breitbart in making up stories about

Donald Trump while at the same time pushing crazy conspiracy theories about Hillary Clinton

and any other Democrat that they can attack that day.

Fox News, according to these staffers, is no longer a news outlet at all.

It is propaganda, not quite state funded propaganda because the government doesn't fund them but

I'm sure if they keep up the boot licking for Donald Trump they could probably work

out some kind of a deal to where he'd let that happen.

The bottom line is that Fox News is unfortunately the most watched cable news outlet in the

United States.

People tune into it every single day and they believe what they're being told on that network.

These people believe that Hillary Clinton somehow duped a federal agency into giving

her immunity for her email nonsense.

They believe that the Democrats have completely made up any possible claim of collusion between

the Trump administration and a foreign superpower.

They do not believe for one second that this tax cut bill that passed last week is going

to benefit the wealthy more than it's going to benefit average Americans.

While most Americans do not watch Fox News, the majority of cable news viewers are Fox

News viewers and their minds are being poisoned every day and the people that work there are

no longer shy about admitting it.

We have to do something about this.

We have to prevent people from getting sucked into the lies and distortion that Fox News

is pushing out every single day.

The way we do that is we fight that misinformation.

We provide facts, and figures, and statistics, give them to your parents, your grandparents,

your friends, your buddies, whoever it is that you know is watching this stuff.

Present them with actual evidence.

You may not be able to change their minds, but at least you can get out there and try.

Share it on social media, get on Facebook, on Twitter, whatever you use, and make sure

that people understand that Fox News is no longer a news outlet that leans to the right.

It is a full blown pro-Trump organization that has no regard whatsoever for the truth

or for facts.

Their only mission is to make Democrats look bad and make Donald Trump somehow look like

Jesus Christ.
