NORTH KOREA TRUMP PRESENTED WITH MILITARY OPTION IN CASE OF STRIKE AGAINST U S - Duration: 2:25.NORTH KOREA: TRUMP PRESENTED WITH MILITARY OPTION IN CASE OF STRIKE AGAINST U S.
President Donald Trump has been given revised options on how to handle the growing threat
of North Korea, at least one of which includes a military response in the event of a nuclear
or ballistic strike against the U.S., two military experts told CNN.
U.S. National Security Adviser HR McMaster confirmed that the U.S. military was ready
and said the threat from North Korea was far more urgent than in the past.
"What we have to do is prepare all options because the President has made clear to us
that he will not accept a nuclear power in North Korea and a threat that can target the
United States and target the American population," McMaster said Wednesday, CNN reported.
New South Korean president Moon Jae-in is due to visit the White House today with North
Korea likely to dominate the conversation.
During his election campaign, Moon promised dialogue between the two countries and has
reached out several times to Pyongyang.
Moon offered to co-share the Winter Olympics with North Korea in 2018 and endorsed a charity
that would help make malaria medication available to the country.
North Korea rejected both offers.
North Korea has its missile launches in recent months.
It has launched 10 missiles in 2017 and is believed to be building a nuclear warhead.
"I hardly ever escape a day at the White House without the President asking me about North
Korea and how it is that the United States is responding to that threat.
It's very much at the top of his mind," CIA Director Mike Pompeo told MSNBC's Hugh Hewitt.
Pompeo added that he and Trump discuss North Korea for at least an hour every day.
He said the risk North Korea presented was real: "For 20 years, America has whistled
past the graveyard, hoping on hope, that North Korea would turn colors and become part of
the Western civilization.
"They are ever-closer to having the capacity to hold America at risk with a nuclear weapon,"
Pompeo said.
Nikki Haley, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations warned lawmakers on Wednesday at the
House Foreign Affairs Committee that North Koreas missile program is probably advancing
faster that they predicted, reported CNN.
They are on target to to build an ICBM (Inter continental ballistic missile)," she
said.
North Korea are also expanding the sites from which they can launch.
Missiles have been fired from Wonsan and Pukchang although the Tonghae launch site, also known
as Musadan Ri, is most common.

Trump Celebrates Our Troops With Powerful 'MERRY CHRISTMAS' Message That Has Soldiers Cheering... - Duration: 3:01.Trump Celebrates Our Troops With Powerful 'MERRY CHRISTMAS' Message That Has Soldiers
Cheering With Joy Trump has proven a lot of positive things
in 2017 which include at least the following three things, he is all about our troops,
winning and wishing everyone a very "Merry Christmas!"All three of these things came
together perfectly as Trump sent a powerful, congratulatory "Merry Christmas" message
to all branches of our armed forces with an emphasis that overtly liberal PC "Happy
Holidays" cowardliness is gladly a thing of a bygone era.
'I just want to wish everybody a very, very merry Christmas,' Trump said.
'We say "Merry Christmas" again, very, very proudly,' Trump went on, reiterating
that we now say 'Merry Christmas' instead of 'Happy Holidays.'
The president addressed each military branch based in Kuwait, Qatar, Guantanamo Bay and
aboard the USS Sampson.
'We're going to have a great year, an incredible year,' Trump told military members.
'I'm thrilled to bring seasons greetings on behalf of the first lady and our entire
family and most importantly, on behalf of the American people.'
'Today and every day we're incredibly thankful for you and for your families.
Your families have been tremendous,' he added.
'Always underappreciated.
Military families.
The greatest people on earth.'
Trump continued.
Trump took time and special emphasis to thank our Coast Guard for their incredible dedication
and work in their hurricane responses this year.
'Many Republicans are very happy, but I have to tell you the people of Florida, Texas,
Puerto Rico, lots of other states are even more happy,' Trump said.
'What a job you've done.'
'The Coast Guard saved thousands and thousands of lives, almost, it's unbelievable when
I look at the charts, I saw the number of lives you saved,' Trump continued.
'So I want to congratulate the Coast Guard for having done an incredible job.'
Trump, being Trump then pulled an incredible move that reminded the mainstream media that
their attacks on his presidency and liberal bias will continue to not go unnoticed by
him.
Trump told our troops he would answer some of their questions personally but not before
he told the media in the room bye-bye and asked them to leave the room.
This was going to be a private conversation free of the fact twisting and misrepresentation
that the mainstream media has specialized in since Trump took office.
'We're going to be speaking with the wonderful people of the media and asking them to leave,'
Trump said.
'Enjoy yourselves.
Really appreciate it, have a great Christmas and we're going to do some very personal
questions between these great people and myself.'
Trump is clearly looking forward to a 2018 with more MAGA and more winning.
