Trump news on Youtube Nov 25 2017

The efforts in Afghanistan to combat terrorism have been hobbled since President Obama ordered

the withdrawal of tens of thousands of American troops.

President Trump is addressing that matter, and his efforts are being hailed by military

experts.

In August, President Trump announced a new military strategy for Afghanistan involving

3,000 additional US troops.

According to The Daily Mail, four-star General John Nicholson Jr. said the strategy would

be successful.

"We are still in a stalemate," he said, but noted the strategy included "all the

conditions to win."

The 3,000 additional troops would increase the Afghan-positioned US forces to a total

of 11,000.

The strategy is a measure to bolster the efforts in Afghanistan, which have suffered in recent

years.

The presence of US forces in Afghanistan has declined drastically since 2011 when it had

100,000 troops assigned there.

Then, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said of the strategy: "This entire effort is

intended to put pressure on the Taliban, to have the Taliban understand 'you will not

win a battlefield victory.'"

The extra troops could strengthen the US-backed Afghanistan government to put enough pressure

on the Taliban to finally push them to peace negotiations.

The withdrawal of US forces has allowed the Taliban to broaden their hold on territory

in the face of a weak Afghan government.

"'This change in policy has reversed this decline that we've been in since 2011,"

Gen. Nicholson said.

He added that troops were withdrawn far too quickly.

"We communicated to the enemy that we had lost our will to win, and now with a new policy

as of August, we are going to win.

And winning means delivering a negotiated settlement that reduces the level of violence

and protecting the homeland."

Just a few months ago, President Trump was reportedly frustrated with the lack of progress

in Afghanistan and even considered firing Gen. Nicholson.

When he learned of the insufficient resources, he quickly released the strategy.

Gen. Nicholson said that President Trump has delivered "everything I asked for."

"We are only 90 days into this new policy," Gen. Nicholson added, "but with the US forces

that will be arriving; with the new authority that we have been given [to] put the pressure

on external enablers; with the fact that we are condition based and not time-based, we've

set all the conditions to win."

President Trump reportedly has full confidence in Gen. Nicholson's duties.

In a recent conference call to US soldiers positioned in Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey, Bahrain,

and those stationed on USS Monterey, President Trump wished the soldiers a "Happy Thanksgiving"

and thanked them for their progress, which has been more successful against ISIS than

in numerous years of the Obama administration.

"We're not fighting anymore to just walk around, we're fighting to win," President

Trump said.

"We're being talked about again as an armed forces.

We're really winning."

He went on to tell the troops they were "very, very special people" to him and all of America.

"We totally support you.

In fact, we love you … You're in a very different part of the world than you're

used to but boy are you doing a job there, and thank God for you."

President Trump has expressed that the US military is one of his top priorities, and

his efforts continue to evidence that.

Hopefully, the latest strategy will help US forces help the Afghan government finally

see success as a result of their efforts and sacrifices.

PEPSI CEO Just Made SCANDALOUS Statement About Donald Trump! - Duration: 3:10.

Even Barack Obama has managed somehow to be cordial and fairly gracious to incoming President

Donald Trump.

But not Pepsi CEO and chairperson Indra Nooyi.

She chose instead to be combative and caustic.

She launched multiple attacks on Donald Trump, stating: "How dare you talk about women

that way!"

She basically sees Trump as the end of society.

Pepsi might want to consider replacing this shrew before their stock takes a fatal dive.

Nooyi, who claims employees broke into tears over Trump winning the White House (color

me very skeptical over that claim), assured them it was not the end of the world.

How big of her.

"The first thing that we all have to do is to assure everyone living in the United

States that you are safe," she said Thursday, reported CNBC.

"Nothing has changed as a result of this election.

The process of democracy has happened.

We just have to let life go on."

Yes, life will go on… but things have indeed changed, don't kid yourself.

From the Conservative Tribune:

While Barack Obama, defeated 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and President-elect

Donald Trump have all called for unity, PepsiCo CEO and chairperson Indra Nooyi has instead

chosen to stir the pot.

She did so Thursday at the New York Times DealBook Conference in Manhattan by issuing

unnecessary attacks on her future president.

"How dare you talk about women that way!" she exclaimed in a statement at the conference,

referencing comments Trump made while on the campaign trail and in an old "Access Hollywood"

tape leaked last month.

"If we don't nip this in the bud, it is going to be a lethal force in society,"

she added, as reported by Forbes.

Was such caustic criticism really necessary?

Even President Obama had reportedly promised Wednesday to "root for" Trump and essentially

let bygones be bygones, according to The New York Times.

"Everybody is sad when their side loses an election," he declared.

"But the day after, we have to remember that we're actually all on one team.

This is an intramural scrimmage."

This woman is holding a grudge and throwing a hissy fit.

It's just classless and juvenile.

I don't know what else I would expect from a rabid Hillary Clinton supporter.

"A lot of what should have been said during the election, I don't think was said.

We let the politics trump the issues, pardon the pun.

The real issues that are facing the country, we never talked about."

You see, that's exactly backwards.

We did talk about issues that were important to mainstream Americans, you just didn't

listen or care.

That's the problem.

You are so wrapped up in insane subjects such as gender, birth control and climate change,

you've lost total touch with what is important to most people out there.

Like jobs and being able to put food on the table.

Trump won because he listened and he took Americans seriously.

Clinton lost because she has no idea how to relate to a real human being anymore.

It's sad that this sea hag is using the Pepsi brand as a Leftist political podium.

The Joy of Pepsi-Cola isn't so joyful these days.

Me, I prefer Coke.

Tom Lokers.

Since he took office, President Donald Trump has clashed with Republicans and Democrats

alike in his quest to repeal and replace Obamacare.

Now, however, it seems that he has found other ways to achieve this goal.

New reports indicate that after Trump slashed expenditures to the bloated healthcare bill,

he discovered that Barack Obama had been funneling $90 billion elsewhere.

He was stunned to discover that Obama had stolen $90 billion from taxpayers and funneled

it into Obamacare.

PUTIN'S FEAR: Trump is using North Korea as guise to line up troops near RUSSIA - DAILY NEWS - Duration: 3:12.

PUTIN'S FEAR: Trump is using North Korea as guise to line up troops near RUSSIA

RUSSIA fears the United States is trying to provoke North Korea so Washington has an excuse

to flood the region with troops.

Vladimir Putin's foreign minister Sergei Lavrov said Moscow was concerned at Japan

allowing the US to use its territory as a base for a military build-up in north Asia.

The Kremlin chief said: "We are expressing deep concern, with facts to back it up, that

Japan along with South Korea is becoming a territory for the deployment of elements of

the US global missile defence system which is being rolled out in that region under the

pretext of the North Korea threat.

"We have no problems directly with Japan, we do not see risks there.

We see risks because of the proliferation of a global US missile defence system on the

territory of countries that neighbour Russia, including Japan."

Mr Lavrov was speaking at a joint press conference with his Japanese counterpart, Taro Kono,

after talks between the two men in Moscow.

He said: "We are alarmed that in the last two months when North Korea conducted no tests

or rocket launches, it seemed that Washington was not happy about that, and tried to do

things that would irritate and provoke Pyongyang."

He said the US had continued to conduct military exercises in the region during that two month

period and had adopted additional sanctions against Pyongyang.

Referring to US officials, he said: "It's as if they are hoping the North Koreans will

lash out again, and then it would be possible to engage in military options.

"As you know, the US leadership has said many times that all options are on the table, including

military options, and we note that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, at a meeting with

President Trump in early November, said that he supports the American position 100 per

cent."

Faced with North Korean missile tests and threats from Pyongyang, Tokyo is considering

buying the US-designed Aegis Ashore missile defence system, according to government sources

in Japan.

Mr Lavrov said Moscow was particularly concerned the Aegis Ashore system could be adapted to

fire Tomahawk missiles and warned that would be in violation of a US-Russian arms control

treaty.

Washington and its regional allies deny they are seeking a military build-up, saying that

they are taking the minimum steps necessary to protect themselves from possible aggressive

acts by North Korea.

BREAKING: Democrat Gets Devastating News, Trump Loves It - Duration: 3:39.

It turns out liberals and progressives within the Democrat Party are becoming disenchanted

with the state of the party and are thinking about fracturing off.

As reported by The Washington Times, progressives are trying to start a third political party.

If successful, it would split the left-leaning vote between the two parties and essentially

ensure Republican victories for many years to come.

A new group of liberal activists, disappointed with the state of the Democrat Party, had

their hopes on recruiting Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), to lead a new third political party.

Their hope is that the party would stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the Republicans and Democrats.

Comprised of former staffers and volunteers of the Sanders campaign, the effort recently

changed its name from the "Draft Bernie for a People's Party" to "Movement for

a People's Party" (MPP).

"We are motivated to continue whether Bernie is prepared to join us yet or not by the fact

that a new party is inevitable in the United States," said Nick Brana, who founded the

effort and serves as its national director.

The MPP aims to bring together various progressive organizations, unions, and working people

in the hopes of consolidating resources and fielding a potential presidential candidate

in 2020.

"Presidential campaigns offer a unique ability to motivate wholesale, kind of across-the-board

political change by creating a down-ballot effect and by creating a very visible candidate

and platform that can help sweep in lower down-ballot candidates," Mr. Brana said.

Third parties have historically struggled to gain significant results in elections,

with the most successful campaign from an alternative party being Theodore Roosevelt's

Progressive ("Bull Moose") Party, which won 27.4 percent of the vote in the 1912 presidential

election.

However, Mr. Brana thinks otherwise.

"We think it is inevitable that we will see a new party in the U.S. because the electoral

opening is so vast and so large," he said.

"It is less of a question of whether someone is going to start a new party than it is who

is going to be the first to do it."

Part of his motivation comes from new polls that show more voters are identifying as independents,

and are more open to the idea of voting for a non-traditional party.

One survey from Gallup showed that 61 percent of voters say the nation should have a third

competitive major political party.

Another tracking poll showed that 42 percent of voters identified as an independent.

However, many experts recognize that the biggest hurdle in attempting to establish a third

party is that it stands unlikely to win the Presidency.

Political expert Charlie Cook said, "That is the ultimate prize, and as long as there

is a legitimate Democrat and legitimate Republican, it is impossible for a third party to get

a majority of Electoral College votes."

"There is no reason why you couldn't have a third party win House seats, Senate seats

and governorships — as they have rarely — but the thing is, nationally speaking,

the White House is the ultimate prize, and an independent cannot win in a three-way race,"

Cook added.

Should such a thing happen, the left-leaning vote would be divided between the traditional

Democrats and this newer progressive party, leaving neither with enough votes to contest

the undivided right-leaning vote – guaranteeing the victory of Republicans for many years,

if not decades, to come.

It's a development that the President, alongside with all conservatives across the nation,

would celebrate.

Trump's Thanksgiving Day message: Be very grateful. To him. - Duration: 4:50.

Trump's Thanksgiving Day message: Be very grateful. To him.

President Donald Trump is using his pardon power to keep a pair of turkeys from the Thanksgiving roaster. (Nov. 21).

Donald Trump pardons the turkey, Drumstick, as his son Barron, right, looks on during the turkey pardoning ceremony at the White House in Washington on Nov. 21. President Trump sent a Thanksgiving Day message to the nation Thursday: Its time to be very grateful.

In an early-morning tweet, Trump wrote: your Country is starting to do really well. Jobs coming back, highest Stock Market EVER, Military getting really strong, we will build the WALL, V.A.

taking care of our Vets, great Supreme Court Justice, RECORD CUT IN REGS, lowest unemployment in 17 years….!". More: Trumps in the White House, turkeys on the table: What to do if you dont want to talk politics.

Trump is celebrating Thanksgiving at Mar-a-Lago, his private club in Palm Beach, Fla. In a video conference with members of the military later in the morning, Trump praised and thanked troops for their service.

He also touted military advances under his leadership and told the troops, without elaborating, that they are now allowed to do things that previous administration did not allow them to do.

You're very, very special people, he said. You're fighting for something real, you're fighting for something good, he added. . Trump also told the troops that he's working on big, fat, beautiful tax cuts.

Earlier this week, Trump tweeted he was not getting enough credit for securing the release of three college basketball players arrested in China.

It wasn't the White House, it wasn't the State Department, it wasn't father LaVar's so-called people on the ground in China that got his son out of a long term prison sentence - IT WAS ME, he tweeted.

More: Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade under tight security. Following the conclusion of Trumps recent 12-day trip to Asia, he declared last week: My fellow citizens, America is back, and the future has never looked brighter.

Among the accomplishments Trump cited were his efforts to restore free and reciprocal trade and rallying world leaders against the dual threats of a nuclear-armed North Korea and radical Islamic terrorism.

The days of the United States being taken advantage of are over, he vowed, without announcing any new policy changes. Before leaving Washington for Mar-a-Lago, Trump delivered the traditional message of unity, thanks and blessings ahead of the holiday.

This Thursday as we give thanks for our cherished love ones, let us also renew our bonds of trust, loyalty and affection between our fellow citizens as members of a proud national family of Americans, he said in scripted remarks.

Millions of travelers will hit the road, board planes, and charter trains to get to their Thanksgiving destination. Sometimes the journey will be flawless, but you should e prepared for delays during this busy time of year.

President Trump Dropped A BOMBSHELL On Roger Goodell! – Saying He Should… - Duration: 1:52.

NFL is continuously falling as the organization is keeping their sick Anti-Trump, anti-America

politics that are only inflicting pain on itself and the disappointed fans.

Once again, President Trump opened up on this issue, criticizing Roger Goodell and his lack

of control on the NFL, also pointing out one more player that decided to take the knee

during the National Anthem.

"Can you believe that the disrespect for our Country, our Flag, our Anthem continues

without penalty to the players," Trump wrote.

"The Commissioner has lost control of the hemorrhaging league.

Players are the boss!"

President Trump pointed out the New York Giants defensive lineman Olivier Vernon who has decided

to take the knee during the National Anthem on Thanksgiving.

The anthem was performed by a Master Sergeant of the United States Army.

Via Breitbart:

"Goodall has refused to force players to stand during the national anthem, a controversy

that Trump continues to criticize Twitter.

Dallas Cowboy's owner Jerry Jones has tangled with Goodell, although he backtracked on a

decision to sue the league over his massive contract.

On Wednesday, Jones said that Trump used to be a fan of football and welcomed his attempts

to drive the conversation on the issue."

"I appreciate not only the President, but I want everybody to be a fan of the Dallas

Cowboys," he stated.

"And I want to do everything I can to make them a fan of the Cowboys or the NFL.

I just appreciate the interest."

President Trump is 100% right on the fact that Goodell has lost control on the NFL and

from where I stand, he is destined to leave the league and let someone else to do the

job properly.

We don't need whining dumbos that are willing to bite their tongue before saying anything.

Do you think Roger Goodell should leave the NFL?

BREAKING: Jerry Jones Issues Shock Trump Statement, This Is Massive - Duration: 3:37.

Throughout the national anthem protests in the NFL, one thing has been certain: the league,

overall, is no friend of America or President Trump.

One member of the league has tried to rise above it all and declare his support for the

country and its commander in chief.

According to CNN, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expressed his appreciation for the President.

He told the network, "I certainly think that the thing [the President] is addressing

is certainly a part of how we want to make our game better.

There's no question that because of our visibility, our substantiveness, that we are

looked to for social responsibility as well.

This is all part of what I've been talking about with the commissioner, and certainly

I appreciate not only the President, but I want everybody to be a fan of the Dallas Cowboys,"

he said.

"I just appreciate the interest."

Mr. Jones made the comment when asked about President Trump's recent tweet regarding

a measure reportedly considered by the NFL, that would keep players in the locker rooms

during the national anthem – a measure to address protesting players and angry fans.

On Wednesday, President Trump responded, tweeting: "The NFL is now thinking about a new idea

– keeping teams in the Locker Room during the National Anthem next season.

That's almost as bad as kneeling!

When will the highly paid Commissioner finally get tough and smart?

This issue is killing your league!"

"Donald Trump is a longtime fan of sport and longtime fan of football and has been

involved as (an) owner in professional football, so he has some knowledge," said Mr. Jones.

"I certainly think that the thing he is addressing is certainly a part of how we want

to make our game better."

Mr. Jones recently made news for opposing Commissioner Goodell's contract extension;

even threatening a lawsuit against the NFL if the extension was signed without full approval

from all owners.

He believed Goodell's job performance did not warrant such a lucrative deal.

While expressing his desire to make the league better for fans, Jones said, "The way we

do that is address many things about our game.

Our social responsibilities, how we do that.

Many things.

And the time to do that is when we extend the commissioner.

My point is, I want all owners to get in here and have a big voice right now, make it accountable,

and let's get better for our fans."

Mr. Jones has made numerous remarks to the media expressing his patriotism, and love

for the country and the NFL – a sentiment that has been recognized and praised by President

Trump.

He has been especially vocal in respect for the flag, telling reporters that he would

bench any Dallas Cowboys players for protesting the national anthem.

"I know this, we cannot … in the NFL, in any way, give the implication that we tolerate

disrespecting the flag," Mr. Jones said on one occasion.

He also said, "If there's anything that is disrespectful to the flag, then we will

not play.

OK?

Understand?

If we are disrespecting the flag, then we won't play.

Period."

Mr. Trump took notice of Jones' comments.

"A big salute to Jerry Jones, owner of the Dallas Cowboys, who will BENCH players who

disrespect our Flag.

'Stand for Anthem or sit for game!'" he tweeted.

It's clear that these two like-minded patriots have a respect for the flag, the nation, and

for one another.

If other owners in the NFL would follow Jones' lead, perhaps the NFL could regain some of

its alienated fans and become a beloved American sport once again.

Trump Thanks God, the One Word Obama Refused to Say - Duration: 2:58.

For many years, Thanksgiving Day has seen the sitting president of the United States

issue a "National Day of Thanksgiving Proclamation" marking the holiday.

This year was no exception.

President Donald Trump issued his Thanksgiving proclamation, but there was a big difference

between his and President Barack Obama's 2016 proclamation, Myra Adams wrote for BizPac

Review.

Trump's proclamation mentioned the word "God" five times (one of which was in

a quotation).

In Obama's 2016 Thanksgiving day proclamation, the then-president didn't mention God at

all.

(Obama did use it in Thanksgiving Day statements in other years, which makes its absence from

his final Thanksgiving Day address as president all the more noteworthy.)

Trump's statement made no bones about its purpose.

"On Thanksgiving Day, as we have for nearly four centuries, Americans give thanks to Almighty

God for our abundant blessings," was the first sentence of Trump's proclamation.

"As one people, we seek God's protection, guidance, and wisdom, as we stand humbled

by the abundance of our great Nation and the blessings of freedom, family, and faith,"

he stated later.

WND noted that in several of his proclamations over his eight years in office, Obama did

mention "God," but generally not as many times as Trump did.

In Obama's 2016 proclamation, he did an elegant dance of avoiding saying the word

"God."

"In that very first thanksgiving celebration, these same ideals brought together people

of different backgrounds and beliefs, and every year since, with enduring confidence

in the power of faith, love, gratitude, and optimism, this force of unity has sustained

us as a people," read part of Obama's 2016 proclamation.

CNS News noted that, technically, Obama's 2016 proclamation did mention the concept

of God, but only when it was unavoidable — at the end of the document with the traditional

signature that reads, in part, "the year of our Lord."

These two starkly different proclamations — Obama's last Thanksgiving in office,

Trump's first — reflect two starkly different presidents.

Obama was very concerned about political correctness, while Trump wants to celebrate faith in the

Creator.

"I encourage all Americans to gather, in homes and places of worship, to offer a prayer

of thanks to God for our many blessings," concluded Trump's proclamation.

It will be interesting to see over the next few years if Trump is consistent in keeping

God in his proclamation, and mentioning it as many times as he did this year.

Trump has made it clear that he isn't going to be afraid to stand up for Christianity

and celebrate God.

It's nice to have a president who is so open about accepting Christianity and isn't

afraid to use the word "God" in a government document.
