Brief: Trump's new Afghanistan policy. - Duration: 5:03.

Trumps new strategy for Afghanistan released Monday, he said US would put more troops there.

Former president Barack Obama was clear in pulling US troops out of Afghanistan, so he

reduced the US presence and kept US troops away from the front line.

While Trump advocated a more radical and complete exit during his campaign, now he has backtracked

and ruled out a full withdrawal.

His ultimate goal looks ambiguous.

There are some realistic parts to Trump's Afghanistan strategy.

But the war in Afghanistan has altered the country's political structure and disturbed

the regional landscape.

It's a daunting task to build a unity government in such a divided Afghanistan.

The Taliban, once smashed by the US army, has resurged and now controls a large part

of Afghan territory.

Yet the US has barely any experience of successfully reconciling ethnic groups.

Soon after Trump's speech, the Taliban responded that Afghanistan would become a "graveyard"

for the US.

Everything about the conflict seems to be going right back to where it was.

Washington has to figure out what it wants from Afghanistan in the future.

It fought in Afghanistan in a bid to take revenge for the 9/11 attacks and overthrow

the Taliban regime, which was far more resilient than expected.

Does the US want to continue its involvement in Afghanistan's political future or want

to create the conditions for the withdrawal of US troops?

Will the US turn Afghanistan into a geopolitical bridgehead in Central Asia or work with China

to build peace there?

The US is unable to wipe out the Taliban and doesn't want to completely pull out of Afghanistan.

It is ambivalent in dealing with Pakistan and doesn't trust China enough.

Trump's new strategy actually aims to maintain the status quo since he has no new idea to

end the stalemate, and sways between the tactics of Obama and George W Bush.

The Afghanistan situation is complicated.

A huge challenge in ending the war lies in how to bring back the different forces into

the political process.

The US needs to enhance cooperation with China and improve ties with Pakistan to stabilize

the Afghanistan situation.

China and the US share many common interests in the Afghanistan issue and both wish to

see the country return to peace and stability.

In fact, Afghanistan could become a bridge for the two to expand their cooperation.

The US should give a constructive response to China's concerns about a US military

base in Afghanistan and support China's Belt and Road initiative.

The US also needs to respect and consider Pakistan's interests and difficulties, and

not push the latter too hard on anti-terrorism issues.

It will be stupid if the US abandons Pakistan and particularly shortsighted to get too close

to India and drift away from Pakistan.

The major problem in Afghanistan is social and economic reconstruction.

It's no easy thing to bring an organization defeated by US troops back to Afghanistan's

national regime.

No single power can deal with the Afghanistan issue.

The Trump administration should promote effective cooperation between international forces.

But Trump's new strategy neither emphasizes international cooperation nor provides new

thinking in facilitating national conciliation.

It is worrying that the new strategy ignores the reality that the Trump administration

may in the end not exit the Afghanistan war.

Supreme Court Judge Retiring – PRESIDENT TRUMP PLANNING HUGE REPLACE!! - Duration: 12:07.

Supreme Court Judge Retiring – PRESIDENT TRUMP PLANNING HUGE REPLACE!!

Supreme Court Judge Retiring – PRESIDENT TRUMP PLANNING HUGE REPLACE!!

Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy considers retiring.

Trump sees opportunity!

It seems that President Trump may soon have another opportunity to appoint another judge

to the Supreme Court.

According to sources close to Justice Anthony Kennedy, the judge thinks about withdrawing

from the high court.

Kennedy, 80, says that old age has finally caught up with him and that he seriously considers

about retiring.

He was appointed in 1998 by president Ronald Reagan and is currently the oldest justice

in the high court after the death of conservative judge Antonin Scalia.

Even though he was appointed by Reagan, Kennedy is politically impartial and has always been

the one to decide Supreme Court tiebreakers.

After Gorsuch's appointment, the Supreme Court is divided by four conservative and

four progressive justices, with Kennedy caught in the middle, always deciding SCORUS stalemates.

Should Kennedy decides to withdraw, this will give Trump the opportunity to appoint another

conservative justice, thus having five conservative to four liberal justices.

Judge Kennedy is close to President Donald Trump with the two of them both having kids

who reside in New York.

The Supreme Court justice has invited Ivanka Trump to the high court to sit in a section

usually reserved for family.

The President's success in replacing Justice Scalia with a prudent and devoted justice

may have affected Kennedy's final decision since he has seen that Trump is capable of

choosing people that will be worthy to replace the honorable Supreme Court justices.

Let's just hope that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, 84, will also withdraw in a couple

of years.

Ginsburg will be smart to do this since she has trouble staying awake during Supreme Court

hearings and it is fairly impossible for her to stay at the high court during Trump's

tenure.

If both Justice Ginsburg and Justice Kennedy withdraw, Donald Trump could appoint one-third

of the Supreme Court.

If Trump eventually succeeds to appoint another right-leaning judge to the high court, this

will slope the balance of the court to six conservative and three liberal justices.

What do you think about this?

Trump Is Furious That Mitch McConnell Won't Protect Him From Investigations - Duration: 4:12.

There's an interesting little tidbit of news that's been overlooked recently, mostly due

to the fact that Donald Trump has been out there making a lot of stupid statements, but

behind the scenes with Donald Trump and his relationship with Republicans in the House

and Senate, things are actually far worse than Donald Trump's public image.

According to a new report by the New York Times, earlier in August what was supposed

to be a fairly decent telephone call between Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch

McConnell erupted into quote "a profane shouting match between the two," because Donald Trump

is allegedly furious at Mitch McConnell because McConnell will not stand up and prevent Senate

investigations into Donald Trump, his family, his campaign, and all of that mostly tied

to the Russian collusion investigation.

Donald Trump once again wants somebody in Congress to step up and I guess technically

hinder a federal investigation.

We've mentioned in the past that Trump's conversation with James Comey from earlier this year about

let's make this go away could very easily turn into obstruction charges against the

president.

If what the New York Times is reporting about this conversation between McConnell and Trump

is true, that could also be construed as obstruction of justice just further adding more fuel to

the fire that Bob Mueller is currently investigating.

Donald Trump is clearly not a smart human being.

I mean, at some point he's got to wake up and understand that nothing really is private.

I mean, any conversation you have, especially when you're berating via private phone call

or even on Twitter, which he's been doing a lot of recently, attacking Mitch McConnell,

yeah, people are going to start digging a little bit.

McConnell himself might even start talking about it, but the bottom line is that Mitch

McConnell really has no authority to step in and squash this investigation.

Sure, he could make these Senate investigations, if they happen, go away to an extent.

He could hinder them.

He could understaff them.

He could make them take so long that by the time they finish Donald Trump could've finished

two full terms as president, but he's not going to do that.

Furthermore, going back to Trump's stupidity, Mitch McConnell's literally the guy in charge

of whether or not you get removed from office, and you're going to publicly berate him on

Twitter?

You're going to cuss him out over the phone in a private phone call?

Bad tactic.

I mean, that shows a disturbing lack of intelligence to attack the one human being who holds the

key to whether or not you get to finish out your first term.

As we've talked about in the past, both the 25th Amendment and a general impeachment would

require the Senate to vote on removing the president from office.

When the Republicans control the majority, and Mitch McConnell happens to be the majority

leader, really a bad move to attack him, call him weak, call him spineless, and cuss him

out on the phone.

Mitch McConnell might be your best friend in Washington, DC right now, Mr. Trump.

If you continue to do this to him, to make him look like an idiot, to make him look spineless

in front of millions and millions of American citizens, I can promise you he's going to

roll on you faster than Steve Bannon has over

at Breitbart.

Anti-Trump protester gets shot in 'the groin by riot police firing rubber bullets' - Duration: 3:05.

Anti-Trump protester gets shot in 'the groin by riot police firing rubber bullets'

The video which was shared on Twitter shows a man in a gas mask running forward to kick a tear gas canister back towards police.

Police then fire back with rubber bullets as one appears to hit the male protester in an intimate area, dropping him to the ground in the middle of the road.

A man wearing a Colin Kaepernick football jersey runs to the aid of the protester as he limps out of the way of the advancing police with riot shields.

The shocking footage comes as smoke grenades and tear gas were fired by.   . Phoenix Police Department spokesman Sergeant Jonathan Howard said: People in the crowd have begun throwing rocks and bottles at police. They also dispersed some gas in the area.

Police have responded with pepper balls and OC (oleoresin capsicum) spray in an attempt to disperse the crowd and stop the assaults." Police have not given an estimate of the number of protesters who turned out for the event, but Arizona media said there were several thousand people.

Anti-Trump protesters yelled out chants including Shame and No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA..

Anna Ruiz, a teacher in the Phoenix Union High School District, said she marched for her undocumented students who were too afraid. She added: "It makes me sad to have to be out here.

Everybody who lives in this country has rights. Im here because Im also gay. I'm here because Im a woman. Im here because Im a Democrat.

Im here because Im a woman. Im a fifth generation Arizonan. I dont like whats happened to my state or my country.

Im so ashamed. The Phoenix event was the Presidents eighth rally since he took office and he told a crowd of supporters that his words in the aftermath of the Virginia event had been perfect.

Trump drew broad criticism for blaming both white nationalists and counter-protesters for the deadly violence at the Charlottesville rally, which was organised by neo-Nazis and white supremacists, resulting in the death of one woman.

He omitted the heavily-condemned many sides part of his initial comments on the fatal violence as he blasted the dishonest media to supporters at the rally.

Just As He Arrived In Phoenix, Trump Looked Out In Crowd And Saw A MIRACLE

This is an absolutely touching moment.

A group of Bikers for Trump gathered in front of the President to pray for the safety of

everyone that came to the event.

They then prayed for the protesters to stay peaceful and for attendees and their families

to stay safe.

Amen.

Watch the amazing video below.

Trump needed the protection today, too.

The Leftist organization John Brown Gun Club showed up to the rally with AR-15s and bullet

proof vests.

They said they were there to protect protestors from "white supremacists."

The Bikers for Trump traveled to Phoenix to defend Trump supporters from violent leftists

and the Antifa gangs that have attacked previous Trump rallies.

The Bikers made the following announcement on Facebook before the event.

The Rally attendees showed up hours early to go see the blockbuster rally in Pheonix,

Arizona.

Check this amazing video below via Josh Caplan.

President Trump is going to make this country great again.

ISIS threatens Donald Trump saying 'battle will end in your lands' in propaganda video - Duration: 4:36.

ISIS threatens Donald Trump saying 'battle will end in your lands' in propaganda video

The footage is said to feature a 10-year-old boy who is the son of a US soldier, although this has not been verified.

In the clip the boy, who appears to speak with an American accent, calls the US President a "puppet of the Jews" and says that "the battle will end in your lands".

The 10-year-old boy claims he has become good friends with another child, 7-year-old Abdullah from the northern Iraqi town of Sinjar, in the region of Iraq that ISIS overran in August 2014, slaughtering thousands of members of the Yazidi sect that the extremists considers to be a devil-worshipping cult.

The boy, believed to be called Yusuf, who emigrated to Syria two years ago with his mother, describes the constant airstrikes against the terrorist organisation ISIS and predicts that the battle will move to American soil.

The video proceeds to show Abdullah speaking to the screen, saying that ISIS took him with them when they liberated Sinjar. Abdullah and Yousef are then shown washing each other with water.

The seven-minute film, entitled This Fertile Nation, is said to have been filmed in the Syrian city of Raqqa.

SITE Intelligence Group director Rita Katz posted on her Twitter account: "For #ISIS, children are powerful rhetorical devices until old enough to serve ultimate purpose: fight as soldiers." also released a video praising those involved in the Barcelona attack as well as urging for more to take place.

It is believed it is the first time ISIS have issued a video involving Spanish-speaking fighters.

In the three-minute video called The Conquest of Barcelona, the ISIS members say that the "war against Spain will carry on until the end of the world" unless it ends its coalition with the US.

The film shows gruesome footage from the attacks last week and another ISIS terrorist says to camera: I ask Allah to accept our brothers from Barcelona. Our war against you will carry on until the end of the world..

The attacks in Barcelona and the seaside resort of Cambrils killed 15 people and left dozens injured. Terrorists in Barcelona drove into Las Ramblas as it was packed with tourists.

Sager Hussain, from Bradford, was recently sentenced to five years in prison for uploading extremist footage at Leeds Crown Court. The 39-year-old was found guilty of uploading three videos that supported ISIS to his Google+ account via YouTube.

Hussain, of Bishop Street, was arrested by counter-terror police in January 2016 and charged with three counts of disseminating terrorist publication in August.  Detective Chief Superintendent Clive Wain, head of counter-terror policing in the North East, said: "Sagheer Hussain openly shared videos from a terrorist group over the internet.

"Terrorist groups such as Daesh [Isis] rely heavily on their propaganda being shared online where it is used to radicalise, encourage support and provoke individuals to carry out attacks abroad and in the UK.  "Tackling extremist material is an essential part of protecting the public and preventing offences that incite or encourage acts of terrorism.".
