Trump news on Youtube Aug 10 2017

Mr. Secretary, President Trump said that North Korea's threats against the United States,

if they continue, will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen before.

Is this part of a diplomatic strategy or did you find those remarks to be unhelpful?

Well, I think the U.S. and international community with respect to North Korea has actually had

a pretty good week.

We had a unanimous UN Security Council resolution strengthening sanctions against North Korea

with China and Russia joining us in that vote, and then at ASEAN, a lot of strong statements

coming out of ASEAN, and I think also reinforced with a global community that has expressed

its view that North Korea really needs to stand down this program.

And so I think in response to that, North Korea's rhetoric has just ratcheted up louder

and louder and more threatening.

So I think the President – what the President is doing is sending a strong message to North

Korea in language that Kim Jong-un can understand, because he doesn't seem to understand diplomatic

language.

I think the President just wanted to be clear to the North Korean regime on the U.S. unquestionable

ability to defend itself, will defend itself and its allies, and I think it was important

that he deliver that message to avoid any miscalculation on their part.

Well, one

of their – one of North Korea's responses was to say it's going to direct missiles

on Guam.

That's exactly where you are headed right now.

Would you consider re-routing?

Well, the North Korean missile capability can point in many directions, so Guam is not

the only place that would be under threat.

No, I never considered re-routing the trip back, and I do not believe that there is any

imminent threat, in my own view.

Do you think there's a longer-term threat, specifically about Guam, against the region

in general?

Well, I hope not.

Again, what we're hopeful is that this pressure campaign, which the entire world now has joined

us in, and with the engagement of China and Russia, two of North Korea's closest neighbors

– that they can begin to persuade the regime that they needed to reconsider the current

pathway they're on and think about engaging in a dialogue about a different future.

Have China and Russia been helpful at all to you in the last 24 hours?

Have you spoken with your counterparts and have they helped in any way?

Well, I haven't spoken to them since we left Manila, which was, I guess, about a day

and a half ago.

But we had direct discussions in Manila about the situation.

I know that they were having talks as well with the representative from North Korea.

I think that is evidence that they have very good, open channels of communication to be

able to talk to the regime of North Korea, and we hope that they will be encouraging

them to stand down their program and abide by the UN Security Council resolutions, which

both China and Russia have voted for in the past.

So I'm hopeful that they can use their influence – and I think they do have influence with

the regime – to bring them to a point of dialogue, but with the right expectation of

what that dialogue (inaudible).

Has anything happened in the last 24 hours to lead you to believe that we are moving

towards a military option perhaps more quickly than anticipated?

Nothing that I have seen and nothing that I know of would indicate that the situation

has dramatically changed in the last 24 hours.

Do you have any immediate diplomatic plans to de-escalate the situation that could have

an impact within days instead of months or years?

Well, we have a very active, ongoing diplomatic effort, most of which is behind the scenes

because that's where diplomacy is most effective.

We had very open conversations and our telephone lines remain open, certainly, to China and

Russia as well as our allies, and I think publicly, we've been pretty clear in our

statements directed at the North Koreans as to what we would like to see happen and make

clear to them that we do not seek to be a threat to them, but we have to respond to

the serious threats that they make towards us.

There have been calls for you to launch a new diplomatic effort.

Do you feel that a new strategy may be warranted?

I do not.

I think the strategy we're currently on is working.

In fact, again, we have now garnered widespread international support, obviously, not just

with the UN Security Council resolution, but globally, countries are speaking out and expressing

the same view as to what North Korea should do, which is not be a threat to the stability

of the region.

I think, in fact, the pressure is starting to show.

I think that's why the rhetoric coming out of Pyongyang is beginning to become louder

and more threatening.

Whether we've got them backed into a corner or not is difficult to say, but diplomatically,

you never like to have someone in a corner without a way for them to get out.

And what is Pyongyang's way out?

Talks.

Talks with the right expectation of what those talks will

be – will be about.

Do you have any advice for Americans?

Should they be worried?

I think Americans should sleep well at night, have no concerns about this particular rhetoric

of the last few days.

I think that the President, again, as commander-in-chief, I think he felt it necessary to issue a very

strong statement directly to North Korea.

But I think what the President was just reaffirming is the United States has the capability to

fully defend itself with any attack, will defend our allies, and we will do so.

So the American people should sleep well at night.

All right.

Thank you, sir.

Right After Blumenthal Attacked Trump, Trump Gave Him The ULTIMATE KARMA

President Trump accused Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn) this morning of lying about his military

service.

Then he hit him even harder this afternoon.

"I think Senator Blumenthal should take a nice long vacation in Vietnam, where he

lied about his service, so he can at least say he was there," Trump tweeted.

Trump is frickin' brutal.

Trump is speaking about the fact that Sen. Blumenthal admitted that he didn't serve

"during" the Vietnam war.

He was only a reservist.

Here is the interview that caused Trump to resist on Twitter.

This morning, Trump accused Blumenthal of being a "phony Vietnam con artist."

This attack came after Blumenthal whined to CNN that he was "concerned" that the Department

of Justice is "weaponizing" laws after they threatened to crack down on leaks.

Blumenthal said this to Trump this morning.

Blumenthal fired back after the first tweet, writing: "Mr. President: Your bullying hasn't

worked before and it won't work now.

No one is above the law."

Share this if you think Trump is a hero for taking on the swamp.

Trump warns North Korea will be met with "fire and fury" if it threatens U.S - Duration: 2:10.

Let's begin with President Trump's extremely strong message to North Korea...

He says the North had better not make any more threats against the United States -- or

else "it would be met with fire, fury and power."

With tensions threatening to bubble over,...

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is touring Asia to gather allies in Washington's push

to further pressure the regime.

Yu Joonhee reports.

The war of words between Washington and Pyongyang is intensifying,... with North Korea saying

this week... the U.S. would face revenge and "pay dearly", for leading UN sanctions against

the regime.

However, President Trump, who is currently on a working vacation at his private golf

resort in New Jersey... wasn't about to be intimidated, firing back with threatening

comments of his own.

"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States.

They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.

He has been very threatening... beyond a normal statement, and as I said they will be met

with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before."

Meanwhile, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson,... was in Bangkok Tuesday, where he pressed Thailand

to curb its business ties with North Korea.

Washington's top diplomat is urging Thailand,... to crack down on shell companies in the country

that are operated by Pyongyang... while tightening visa requirements for North Korean nationals.

Tillerson is on a three-nation Asia tour to drum up support for more pressure on North

Korea,... having also attended the ASEAN Regional Forum in the Philippines, over the weekend.

At the conclusion of that security meeting, the ASEAN bloc of nations released a statement...

urging Pyongyang to fully comply with UN Security Council resolutions.

Expressing "grave concerns" over the regime's latest actions,... it also called for a full

denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula,... and the easing of tensions, to create favorable

conditions for future dialogue.

CNN Breaking News 8/9/2017: FBI raids home of Trump's former campaign chairman - Duration: 42:32.

FBI raided Manafort home as part of Russia probe

Washington (CNN)FBI agents raided a home of President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman

Paul Manafort last month, a source familiar with the matter told CNN.

The agents seized materials in Manafort's home as part of the ongoing Russia investigation

led by Justice Department Special Counsel Robert Mueller, the source said.

"FBI agents executed a search warrant at one of Mr. Manafort's residences.

Mr. Manafort has consistently cooperated with law enforcement and other serious inquiries

and did so on this occasion as well," Jason Maloni, a spokesman for Manafort, told CNN.

He declined to provide further details.

The so-called no-knock warrant, which was first reported by The Washington Post, was

served at Manafort's home in Washington's northern Virginia suburbs on July 26, the

day after Manafort met with Senate intelligence committee investigators.

The tactic appears unusual for a case that has been under investigation for months and

for which Manafort has already turned over hundreds

of pages of documents to Senate investigators.

The source told CNN the documents seized included financial and tax records and at least some

of the information had already been provided to

Senate investigators.

Since his appointment in May, Mueller has quietly gathered a team of more than three

dozen attorneys, investigators and other staff in a nondescript office in Washington.

Officials familiar with the probe describe it as akin to a small US attorney's office,

with FBI agents and prosecutors assigned to separate groups looking into various aspects

of the investigation.

These include groups of investigators and lawyers focused separately on Russian collusion

and obstruction of justice, as well as the investigations focused on Manafort and former

national security adviser Michael Flynn, a US official briefed on

the investigation has told CNN.

So far, Trump's campaign has turned over approximately 20,000 pages to the Senate judiciary committee,

which is investigating Russia's interference in

the election, while Manafort turned over approximately 400 pages and Donald Trump Jr. turned over

about 250 pages.

Fusion GPS, the firm that compiled a dossier at the center of the federal Russia probe,

has not yet turned over any documents, according

to the committee's spokesperson, though a source told CNN the firm plans to provide

the committee with "thousands" of pages of documents Wednesday.

The spokesperson declined to provide

details about the specific contents of

the documents.

CNN's Manu Raju and Tom LoBianco contributed to this report.

PURE GENIUS Trump Just Revealed The TRUTH About Him and Mueller now Dems are Freaking

Out

The media has been trying to create a massive firestorm over claims that President Trump

plans to fire Special Investigator Mueller (something Trump has never said).

Well, sorry suckers!

Y'all just shoved your MSM foots in your mouths and Trump made you eat your words.

Look what he's been up to with Mueller…

Donald Trump has been in contact with Robert Mueller throughout the investigation!

His laywer revealed earlier today that Trump has been sending friendly messages back and

forth with Mueller for quite a while now.

Trump's lawyer John Dowd told USA Today,

"We get along well with Bob Mueller; our communications have been constructive, but

it is important that our communications remain confidential.

It's important that there not be any breakdown in that trust.''

Makes total sense.

According to Dowd, Trump appreciates the work Mueller has been doing to get to the bottom

of this investigation and is confident that, once settled, he will still be President and

the whole thing will be disproven.

This is not Donald Trump's first rodeo in the courts, folks.

No sir, this man is a fighter.

People sue billionaires all the time, but Trump HATES to settle or lose.

If they think he will go down easy, they are in for something else.

Share this out only if you support the President and leave a God Bless Trump.

Anyone Else Feel Like Prince Harry and Melania Trumps Meeting at the Invictus Games Might Be Awkward - Duration: 2:22.

Prince Harry is a meeting, greeting man about town.

He met Rihanna to raise AIDS awareness.

He met Haribo gummy factory workers and got some custom candy.

He met Harry Styles and gave the world the most iconic same-name friendship they will

ever know (nope, this isnt open for debate).

And now, according to the White House, hes going to meet Melania Trump at the 2017 Invictus

Games for wounded service members in Toronto.

But does anyone else think this might be a little bit tense due to Donald Trumps controversial

transgender military ban?

Now, we wont pretend to know the exact political views of the prince on this particular

matter.

But, considering the conservative British defense secretarys condemnation of the

ban, the Windsors public statements about the cross section between LGBTQ and mental

health stigmas, and Prince Harrys steadfast dedication to all veterans (of which, after

serving Afghanistan, he is one), all signs point to the fact that hes probably not

on board.

And if were right, Melania might want to be ready to discuss some civil rights issues.

Because despite his posh demeanor, Prince Harrys not exactly known for holding back.

The First Lady did give a statement expressing her gratitude for the chance to attend the

event, which Prince Harry founded in 2014.

In just two short years, the Invictus Games have allowed thousands of injured and wounded

servicemen and women from many different countries to participate in adaptive sports competitions,

something that should be lauded and supported worldwide, she said.

I am honored by the opportunity to represent our country at this years games.

Royal watchers are also speculating that Meghan Markle may accompany Harry to meet the First

Ladythe Invictus Games are in Toronto, where Markle currently resides.

But for once, all eyes may not be on the happy couple.

Trump's Lawyer Just Came Out And REVEALED Something That'll Brin Down Obama For Good

One of Trump's attorney's Jay Sekulow said on his radio show this Tuesday morning

that he has discovered an email that connects Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton's infamous

scandal on the tarmac to Obama's White House.

This is massive and it will prove how much the Obama administration was panicking after

the meeting to spin the narrative.

Jay Sekulow said in the show that he has found an email that connects Obama's White House

to AG Attorney Lynch.

Sekulow then played a clip right after that linked to a video clip of Press Secretary

Josh Earnest denying the involvement of the White House.

The show also covered the fact that the redacted FBI email addresses could be James Comey,

according to Christiana Laila. This is not something that we can take sitting down.

The Obama administration seems to have worked hand-in-hand in the Hillary campaign to lose

the election.

They probably thought they would get away with it because Hillary would win.

We need to show the whole world the crimes that Obama's administration was involved

in.

If we don't get this information out there, then the media will cover it up.

Please

keep fighting, Patriots.

LATER LOSER Mitch McConnell Just Said One Thing About Trump that will END His Career - Duration: 12:59.

LATER LOSER Mitch McConnell Just Said One Thing About Trump that will END His Career

It really just blows my mind sometimes, y'all.

You think there is nothing else that Mitch McConnell could do to embarrass himself at

this point.

Not during a break and after the ObamaCare repeal disaster.

WRONG!

McConnell decided to give a speech to a bunch of Kentucky donors where he revealed how he

thinks it's actually Trump's fault he failed in congress…

McConnell blamed the ObamaCare failure on Trump expecting Congress to do too much work!

Mitch McConnell told the crowd of donors at the Florence Rotary Club in Kentucky,

"Now our new president has, of course, not been in this line of work before, and I think

has excessive expectations about how quickly things happen in the democratic process.

And so, part of the reason I think people feel like we're underperforming is because

too many artificial deadlines unrelated to the reality and the complexity of legislature

may not have been fully understood.

And so what I'm asking of you is to judge this Congress when it finishes."

And so, part of the reason I think people feel like we're underperforming is because

too many artificial deadlines unrelated to the reality and the complexity of legislature

may not have been fully understood.

And so what I'm asking of you is to judge this Congress when it finishes."

Hey, I'm gonna do Mitch McConnell a big favor right here.

Let me tell Congress WHY people feel like Y'all are underperforming.

Congress has been so clogged up and ineffective for DECADES now that America has lost all

faith in it as a governing body.

That's what really happened.

Look, maybe it's time for Mitch to go.

What do y'all think?

He had a good run, but there's gotta be someone out there who won't try and claim

a big loss is actually a win but nobody notices it because they are all

being

too critical.

President Donald Trump Wants To Give Royal Kids George And Charlotte Cowboy Saddles.

President Donald Trump is reportedly planning to give Prince William and Kate Middletons

adorable children Prince George and Princess Charlotte western cowboy saddles during his

first visit to the U.K.

And their grandma Queen Elizabeth, 90, will also get the all-American gift later this

year, according to the Sunday Express. Trump understands the royal familys horse riding

tradition and thinks they will appreciate the gifts, a source told the publication:

He doesnt just want to give them something that will sit at the back of a cupboard or

gather dust on a mantelpiece. He wants to give them something he knows they will

enjoy and use.

Americas new leader, 70, hopes to engrave the Presidents seal on one side of the

saddle and the Queens seal on the other side to symbolize the special bond between

the U.S. and England, the source said.

President Trump told British Prime Minister Theresa May, whom he met for the first time

last week, that hes a big fan of the Queen, who recently suffered health woes.

In fact, Trumps late mother was Scottish, giving him a strong feeling of kinship with

the U.K. According to Time magazine, Peter Ricketts, a former head of the Foreign Office,

said the invitation has put the Queen in a very difficult position because of Trumps

controversial travel ban on people from Muslim majority countries.

But President Trump is more than ready to saddle up for the royals! And as Radar has

reported, hed also like to golf with the Queen if she is able. thanks for watching.

Trump warns North Korea will be met with "fire and fury" if it threatens U.S. - Duration: 2:03.

As Jang-ho mentioned, hours before North Korea's threat against Guam,...

President Trump said Pyongyang had better not make any more threats against Washington

-- or else it would be met with "fire, fury and power."

Those remarks were slammed by both Republicans and Democrats.

Kim Hyun-bin reports.

U.S. President Donald Trump, who is currently on a 17-day vacation at his private golf resort

in New Jersey,... fired back on Tuesday against North Korea's latest threats with tough words

of his own.

"North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States.

They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.

He has been very threatening... beyond a normal statement, and as I said they will be met

with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before."

Those comments were quickly criticized by both Democrat and Republican lawmakers.

The chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, John McCain, urged the President

to be sure he can follow through before making such statements, adding that great leaders

don't make threats unless they are ready to act.

Democrats also slammed Trump for his comments, calling them bombastic and unhinged.

Maryland Sen. Ben Cardin, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee,

said Trump lacks the temperament and judgment to deal with serious crises and that Washington

should not make the same kind of provocative statements as Pyongyang.

Amid the heightened tension, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joseph Dunford,

is scheduled to hold talks with his South Korean counterpart Lee Sun-jin next week to

discuss ways to better deal with Pyongyang's threats and to strengthen security cooperation

in the region.

Dunford is also scheduled to hold talks next week with his Japanese and Chinese counterparts.

Kim Hyun-bin, Arirang News.
